Way less people and this is by far the best, most organized Home Depot I been to so far. Since this Home Depot location is literally across the street from my work office, I put in my order for in-store pickup here. I also had to get a bag for my Rigid vacuum so I went inside the store to get my vacuum bag first. There was no one at the self checkout line so I was able to go straight to the register. After I paid for my vacuum bag, I went to the Customer Service area to pick up my order. At first I was confused because they really didnt tape out where you line up. But since they werent busy, someone saw me and help me. There many parking here because its in a plaza so you wont have any issues here. I saw only 3 curbside pickup spots next to the store so I dont know if there more spots.

Great Home Depot, as far as Home Depots go. Usually stocked and tidy, much more so than the average Home Depot. Many knowledgeable associates that are happy to help and actually take the time to help you. Of course there are always a few associates that seem to ignore you or appear to be bothered when you ask for assistance, but there are many who seem to care.

My favorite thing about this Home Depot location is the trees in the parking lot that provide shade for your car. Easy to find a parking space, colorful garden section with shade cloth so the flowers arent burned by our harsh summer sun, choice of several seed company choices on racks.

I needed a good degreaser and the employee, James, helped me find one. He was extremely helpful and knew exactly what he was talking about. I will definitely return and hope that the other employees are as helpful as he was.

Needed spray paint for Halloween decorations. Spray paint selection was severely understocked, about half or 2/3rds empty.Unclear whether this was poor inventory mgmt at the local store or supply chain snags. Rustoleum brand is Made in USA.; maybe the paint is stuck in Illinois?Was unable to get all the colors I wanted.

I bought a refrigerator from home depot and they offered free delivery and free installation IF I bought a new water line kit. So I purchased the kit. A week later they deliver the fridge. Guy looks at my copper water line and says we cant touch it, hands me the kit and says I can return it. So they dropped off the refrigerator and left. Didnt unpack, didnt put it in place, didnt plug it in, didnt explain how to set up the water filter or anything. Luckily I know how to install a supply line and make sure it doesnt leak. Be prepared to call a plumber if you dont know how as they do NOT install.

The kindest people in this store are simply the tradesmen who work in the yard, although it is not their responsibility they always try to help people in need, as the real home depot employees are never present.

Needed a truck rental for a swing Id purchased in S.V. They had just what I needed. Polite and helpful personnel.

Horrible service! Item priced incorrectly. I check the receipt, go back and check the item, take pictures and go to customer service for an adjustment. They tell me it may be going on sale or just came off but the price is higher. I ask them to honor the item as priced, they tell me I can go ask flooring how much it should be. Way to take accountability. The worst thing about moving from TO to Simi is the Home Depot.

Very disappointed in our experience here. Buyer beware of you purchase an appliance here you will basically have to keep it unless its damaged or defective, even if brand new which is asinine.Every other store you go to has a regular return policy for appliances but we had to fight tooth and nail to return a stovetop that was delivered two days prior, not installed despite us paying for it, and was left on our doorstep with no delivery confirmation or signature required.Not just that but in store we were treated in a condescending manner by the appliance return associate, Joyce, and was very Kurt and treated my spouse like a child when it came to the return.Moral of the story stick to Lowes or any other hardware store for major purchases. Or risk being stuck with an appliance you cant use or return on the event something doesnt go as planned.

So I pulled into the parking lot parked my truck and saw a guy selling fruit etc out of the back of his truck. It’s my understanding that in order to sell products in the city of Simi Valley you need a permit. I mentioned this to the girl at customer service and was told oh he’s here all the time I don’t have a problem with it. This is a problem for me if you think it’s ok to illegally do business in the city I will take my business elsewhere

This rating is for just the Simi Valley location. I definitely would not rate the company as a whole 5 star, or any location I visited in the city of Los Angeles. However, Simi Valley is great, nicer staff, shorter lines, more helpful, and generally cleaner and more spacious than other Home depots.

Used curbside pickup for a large item. The whole process went smoothly, the young man who helped me get the item into my car was patient and considerate. There were other stores closer to me Woodland Hills, Canoga Park; but a friend of mine made the suggestion and Im glad I listened.

Place is clean and employees are very helpful. I’ve been coming here for years and never have they disappointed. Can’t wait to start my patio project

Went in and bought 10 cellular blinds, I provided the measurements. Got home and NONE (0) of them fitted (too wide). I went in again to get them fixed to another Home Depot that was in my way, to my surprise they couldn’t do it, they don’t sell that exact model there. So I went banco to the original one in Simi Valley to get the fixed, walked out and got home to try them out.... now 2 did not fit!!! Went back in today for the 4th time!!! Haven’t tried the yet! These guys just don’t know how to measure or know the product (they think they know it all by their attitude)!

My recent interactions with the cashiers is showing a pattern of poor customer service. They have poor attitude and seem disinterested in customers. It feels seems to be a badly managed store. The other employees on the floors are much better in this regard just the cashiers.

This is as good as any Home Depot. The cashiers here are way more friendly here though. Still, good luck finding the bolts in the right bin or a piece of lumber that isnt twisted or with a nasty crown.

Got some beautiful colors of paint for a new home improvement project and they have a wide selection of choices and friendly staff and clean store.

They can do a lot to improve on their customer service.6/18/2021 - Made a return today. The last time I made a return they insisted that I had a receipt or they wouldnt give me cash. Now the rules have changed. They will only refund your credit card. I didnt have the card that I had used to make the original purchase so they didnt want to give me a refund. The young man behind the counter was rude and finally slammed the money into my hand.Customer service at this Home Depot is terrible. As a contractor, I spend 10s of thousands at Home Depot each year yet Im treated with distain.

What can you say about Home Depot, its always busy, you can never find anyone to help you and when your large item special order arrives and on line it says they will call you ...they dont. The last three months I had five special order items arrive and never got an email or a phone call on any of them. I checked my status online and each time saw the item has been sitting there for two weeks ahead of delivery target date. This however is not exclusive to this location.

I was looking for a product in their website, and it said the product was in limited stock at this location. Online purchase was not available so only way to buy the product was either to drive there quickly to buy it but this shop is more than 20 miles from my home so I had to request hold until I drive there to make sure the product available until I get there.I called their customer support but a woman was telling me why I could not purchase online underlying that I didnt know something about how to get their stuff online. I didnt argue but instead I asked politely if she would be able to hold the product. She said they normally dont do that, but she allowed to hold it, so I was able to get it later of the day.When I got there, their customer support area was holding my product, but the staff told me that I needed to move the product to other checkout area to pay for it. The product was heavy and I had to move it with my daughter. I have not seen any customer support that is not able to process the payment. Anyway, checking out and moving it to my car finally, I saw a post-it note on the box that read customer has trouble online purchase ??!! This is an unprofessional remark. They should know better how their website work and how better they listen to what customer was concerned at.The reason why I still give three stars is they were eventually able to hold the product but their quality of customer service, understanding how their online logistics works, and communication with customers need much improvement.

Its home depot. The pinnacle of the American experience. Where you dont need rely on anybody else to live the individual, rugged, independent DIY frontier spirit and existence. That is, until you cant find that left handed thing-a-ma-jig and have to ask the sometime friendly orange vest to tell you as matter of factly, oh, thats in gardening, never mind that it has nothing to do with gardening. Still, nothing beats spending half a day lost in the aspirational building blocks of what you could build next, as soon as you complete the project you are currently on. Oh, and what did I come in the store for again?

My Wife and I came into the store to purchase items for a job. We noticed the 5 . 4 and 3 registers open, aside from the Self check out, We approach the register 5 Diane station and start to ask the check out attendant for a moment of help. She interrupted us rudely saying that she is helping someone else and turned her back on us. So, we went to stand in the line at check stand 5, and the lady at that register was just as rude. She looked up and told everyone that she is closed and continued to finish her counting money. We then ended up at the Register No 4 where Brenda was great. She was accurate and efficient. She was much more pleasant then the Diane big Mouth to check out. Brenda should receive some sort of special recognition for being the example of what an employee should be. I didnt know customers were such a bother to a companies employees.

One day I went to get a textura hopper and they didnt have it then I just went to get sum corner bead and 1/4 drywall yesterday and they didnt have it either all other stores have this materials plus customer service is really bad except for the manager, something is not right at this location.

Some of the rudest employers Ive encountered.Standing in line at a register behind 2 other people and the cashier just leaves... No replacement, no comment, nothing.Just leaves 3 customers standing there wanting to buy product.

The staff isnt doesnt seem to be very knowledgeable at this location and I seem always feel as if Im bother anyone if I need any help.

I went in to get replacement lightbulbs for my carport. They had a very large variety of choices. The prices and selection was much better than the discount stores.

I picked out straight lumber from this Home Depot location (which include about twenty pieces) and went to go grab a tool I needed. When I came back to my cart it was gone. I don’t understand why they would take it the cart and put it all back. I left the cart for maybe 5 minutes. Won’t buy from this location again.

We walked into Home Depot today to get help with a whole remodel of our kitchen. We were first greeted by a representative who was upbeat and welcoming. She directed us to the kitchen department. We had the opportunity to sit down with Robert in the kitchen design department. We weren’t planning on changing the design too much since our kitchen is small and we didn’t think there were many options. He took the time to provide a new design that better suits our needs and gave us options we would have never considered. He was we professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I work in a customer service industry and I can definitely say that Robert went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I and help us bring our vision to life.

The employees are consistently talking with each other and Linda and Isabella have zero sense of urgency holding hands with Boy Friends laughing and jokingly bullying the customers at the service Desk. One employee I stopped to ask for help said, you must think I work in the curbside parking lot To which I promptly replied, judging on the orange apron you work for Home Depot, can you help us or not? I like to come here for all my cleaning and house repairs needs but I went a Wednesday morning and it was busy so busy!! 😲😲 I felt bad for the few workers that were present, they looked busy, tired a little overwhelmed,They needed more help. I could only do three stars this time . I come in here often and its always crowded I get that, its a busy store. The store just seems unorganized compared to others. My items were mis-priced and that was handled nicely but still. It was hot inside as well as outside, Ive been to many Home Depot stores and this seems common in hot climates, I find this unacceptable. These stores need to step up for their customers, no way should it be hotter and less comfortable inside than outside. Parking at this one is really tight but there are some trees for shade. I have to go back over the weekend to get more, maybe theyll show some improvement next time so I can edit my review.

Cant just single out this particular Home Depot since theyre pretty much all the same but this place is irritating. Just getting through the parking lot will start your day off bad. Being a general contractor many times I have to pick up large loads of lumber. They provide a covered area right outside of the large loading doors for trucks to park. Problem is most of the spots are taken up by BMWs or Mini-vans. Park further out, not the end of the world. Inside its difficult to find an employee in a department you need help in. Finally ready to check out. Looks like everybody else is too. The 1 cashier at the pro check out looks worried. I will say that they easily carry far more items for professionals and homeowners than Lowes.

Its a hit or a miss really with all home depots, and this one was no different. i got some needed pieces, and there was only one check out open.

WENT TO WALMART IN THE SAME CENTER AND GOT A FRESH 6 DOUGLAS FIR FOR THE SAME PRICE!!! $30 for a 3ft tree at Home Depot?! Over half the lot are unsold trees with old hard needles, the place is a fire hazard, Manager claims he got them yesterday and was rude, defensive and dismissive when I brought this to his attention. The young man packing the trees however stopped me as I was leaving and tried to help find another solution but unfortunately had no power to make any changes.

Just another home dumpo. Nothing special

I went to buy a fence online and then curbside pickup and the person told me that it was new even though I had duct tape on the box when I try to tell her that it was already previously opened she argued with me and said no so I said okay and took the Box then I took it to my handyman who drove in an hour away to do a job with it and there were missing pieces so I then had to go back to a Home Depot return the gate and go to a different store to purchase a different gate while having to pay a handyman more because he had to wait for me to run from store to store to pick up different items I dont think that this is fair but this is the kind of business are handling here will never go back and told my family not to go to that Home Depot

Was very nice and helpful the employees. Needed some insulation for doors (not that many selections but enough for what it was needed), lawn timer and Christmas light timer(big selections)

The visit was great. Got the paint chips for my home, the crew helped since the original chips were not labeled the same names as last year, injury kept me from doing the job last year. Crew also explained about color matching so the would be the same as the porch and stairs. Wonderful crew that is always helpful and try hard to find what is necessary when I dont have a clue of what I am doing.
