David who work in retail was such an amazing in customer service! He helped my wife and son pick out the most comfortable office/game chair for my son! He went above and beyond for my family. He even allowed my son Evan to help assemble the chair in the store by helping with the screws. Nothing big, dont worry. David was very careful and followed all guidlines. My wife and son came home that day after their shopping experience at Sataples Simi Valley and were so happy and appreciative of this kind man name David.. Please acknoweledge this employee and make him a prime example of what a good store assoiciate should be like. Life is short people! Be kind! Make that extra stetp! Smile and laugh! Poor customer service on print section. They were too busy with barely any customers to print something. Also never called when the print was finished. At the end I had to go there to realize that they were not even able to print completely. Waste of time. Go to Thousand oaks and deal with more professionalism.

The knowledge and assistance in the printing section is extraordinary. They work with me to get a perfect result and I am beyond satisfied with the printing services here!Unless I am doing a giclee, I will go nowhere else.
I placed an online order and came into the store to pick it up within the hour that it was ready. The order was incorrect. I asked to return the purchase since it did not match my order. Since I used my earned Staples Rewards, the manager would not refund the rewards I used. The employee had already returned the purchase before verifying what would happen to my rewards. I asked the manager if he would simply return the item without a receipt for store credit (that was $.62 more than the Staples Rewards I used) and he declined. He suggested I wait for him to call his support on the East Coast the following day with no guarantee of a refund of my rewards. Bottom line is I wasted 40 minutes of my time to come into Staples, not have my order filled and gave up my rewards.

Stephanie was very helpful when I came in to ship my package via UPS. The employees in this Simi Valley store are very courteous and friendly and they make your shopping experience easy and enjoyable.
Bought an item, price matched and applied reward certificate. System accepted the reward and final price came down. My card didnt go through and I was about to try another card. Manager interrupted and said that they cannot price match and apply coupon for an item.I explained manager that it is a reward certificate and not a coupon. Second thing, the system already accepted the reward and reduced the price. But manager was stubborn in his statement and never bothered to listen and sort out customer concern. Never going to visit the store again and bye to Staples.
So staples has the policy that if you turn in your ink cartridges that you will get a percent off on your next ink purchase. This never happens. They make it practically impossible to get any discount. They always say next time.
Most of the staff is very helpful. I have to say the guy who was at the register, could learn to be a little more friendly.

The tech guy sold me staples brand ink cartridges. Same price as brand names. My computer ( a up to date desk top) wouldnt even consider the cartridges and now it isnt printing anything in any color. Bad advice and please know what you are selling customers. Telling me you have never had a problem or had these malfunction is a stretch at best. Once Im gone you have lost me. Every one makes a mistake so you have a chance.. feel the opportunity to redeem yourself young man.

This Staples has a lot of inventory and is very clean. The prices however are different for the item that I bought. The Shelf had one price, the cash register had a higher price, the internet had the lowest price. They explained to me that the internet and the store price are commonly different as a normal practice for them. They were kind enough though to match the internet price if I brought it up on my phone which I did and they gave me the better price. The cashier was polite and helpful and the manager listen to my dilemma of three different prices and took corrective action on the posted price in the store.

Purchased download of HR Block software. No activation code was sent to me. Software would not function properly. No refund given for download software. Store manager would not assist. Staples phone support over an hour on hold. HR phone support over two hours. No help. Only wanted to return/refund and pay $20 extra for box set and store nor support would accommodate.

I went to this store to get a black and white file printed. Simple cards, 6 up on a page recto-verso. Unfortunatelythe young girl on duty had not been trained on the machine and was unable to print the job. There was a man as wellin the area and him too was unable to do it. The following day I went to another Staples (the one in Westlake Village at Lindero Canyon Road),I handed the exact same file to the person on duty and she handed me the cards I needed properly printed and cut,less than 15 minutes later. So the file was not the problem as I was told, it was the lack of hatting on using the machine to printfrom the personnel in the area. This is actually not the first time that I experience problems with the printing area at this store.People put in the printing area should be trained on the tools to operate.
They had lots of school supplies at a great price.
