Went to the showroom to open and close some aluminum and vinyl windows and doors to decide about purchasing. Well, I really liked how they open and close. If you hire a contractor that can install them correctly, these windows and doors will be really nice!If the contractor doesnt install them correctly, it could cause issues like opening and closing and leaking air.

I liked the fact that they were able to come out to replace one of my windows which looked like hand smudges on the window (it was the gas between the window pain). The scheduling time was about 6 weeks out. With my first appointment, the person showed up but then said that he was given the wrong window size. I had to reschedule out another 6 weeks. The person who showed up on a rainy day was very nice and professional. He finished the job in less than 10 minutes.

Milgard windows and service is the best! We have had Milgard windows for over 20 years and are very impressed with their performance and their service. We have had a couple south facing windows that required one of the window panes to be replaced after about 15 years and Milgard replaced them. We have had our Milgard windows since 2004. We recently needed to replace three windows due to condensation. It was the easiest process and the windows were replaced in under 30 minutes. Out of the box, my vinyl french door had a weatherstripping issue. A factory repair person arrived and even after changing the seal, he was not able to fully seal the door. He said that it was the best that it was going to get. Really?? A further request for service was ignored. I expected much more from Milgard.

Todays service was quick and expedient with no problems and was taken care of in a professional and timely manner. I only wish the WAITING PERIOD was as quick and expedient. It took over almost 2 months for someone to be scheduled to come out and replace two windows that took only a matter of minutes. Would have given 5 stars if Milgard would have been more efficient in their scheduling at the office.

The techs and the phone support were friendly and professional. This has nothing to do with them. I think it took about 4 months from the time I made the initial phone call, to getting the warranty window installed. I think that is unacceptable and wrong. Customer support is vital of you want customers to return for future business. I understand Covid might have something to do with a longer than usual time frame. But 4 months is just unacceptable!

Very poor quality glasses as you can see the window glass is cracked and shattered on its own on a sunny day. They provided me with the fake and useless LIFETIME WARRANTY which those were not covered under the warranty.

Quick and professional service surprised me. The problem was fixed within 20 minutes and there is no charge with the life time warranty. Now I am happy the decision made 12 years ago to select the Milgard Windows.

We purchased our Milgard windows in 2006. Since then we have had two service calls. The latest was 21 Sep 21 when the air gap failed on two windows. The technician performed the replacements in less than a half hour. The only issue was the length of time taken to obtain the service.

We had a dual pane window fog up, and Milgard sent their tech Daniel out to replace the panes, along with a new seal. He was fast and courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I needed a service call on my sliding door and the Milgard tech was very helpful and nice.

My new 4 panel sliding glass door had small defects in the glass in the 2 operable panels. I called Milgard and without even coming out to confirm that the defects were in between the panes, they set up an appointment to replace them. The technicians were great and easily replace the 2 defective panels. And then they installed the screens, which our contractor had not installed, and spent time adjusting them. Very happy with the ease and quality of service from this company.

The Milgard tech was prepared when he got here, and had the window repaired in just minutes. We had another issue regarding exterior molding, and he quickly replaced that too. Total visit was less than 20 minutes, and very well done. Great service!

I had assumed that the Milgard representative would be coming over to inspect the windows to make sure that there really was a manufacturing or material problem and then there would another step or two before the window was fixed. I was pleasantly surprised when the repair tech showed up - looked at the windows and FIXED THEM ON THE SPOT! The representative called before he arrived, then came in fully masked and gloved - took a look at my windows and replaced the glass in both of the problem windows and was done in less than 30 minutes. I have 3 large windows downstairs that I had planned on replacing and Milgard had my business!

Bought a beautiful patio french door in Dec. 2020. One week after install the door stopped locking. It took one and a half months to get the repair person out. In the meantime the lock started working again. The repairman was thoughtful and polite. He checked out the door even though it was working. He even told me how to repair my other sliding screen door that wasnt working. A week after the repair visit the lock stopped working again. Now the repairman was great. The door lock is unacceptable. Having to wait 6 weeks to see the repairman is horrible. Will I have to wait another month and a half to see the repairman again. Having to lock a $7000 door with a bicycle lock does not speak well for MILGARD.

I was very impressed by Milgards customer service from start to finish! We had moisture/particles that got between the double pane windows over many years of exposure to the elements of Southern California. I called Milgard to find out if the windows could be replaced because I couldnt get them clean. Milgard said they were still under warranty, since we are the original owners, even though they were about 20 years old! They asked me to take measurements of the window panels that were damaged, labeled each by room and then I emailed the info to the customer service department. They found my original order, matched up the windows, and made the window replacements--without even coming to check the window damage. We received a date for the new windows to be installed about a month ahead of time and waited about 10 weeks for them to be completed--pretty great since this is during Covid-19! They gave us a 2 hour window in which the installers would arrive. They arrived on time, wore masks, worked efficiently and with care. It took a little over an hour to replace 8 window panels! I cant thank Milgard enough for their amazing warranty, the fantastic customer service and for the great employees they have working for them--especially their installers--it was clear they knew what they were doing! We are very happy customers!

Wow! I had bought all new windows for my home from Marvin other than one l bought for the kitchen from Milgard. THe four main windows on the front of my home (Marvin) failed and get foggy when it gets cold. Called Marvin who will replace the actual window but not install. That is going to be a huge deal finding and paying for a contractor to reinstall these windows. Oddly, one side of the slider window in the kitchen (the less expensive Milgard window) had similar issue. HOWEVER, Milgard replaced AND reinstalled that window quickly and at no cost to me. I vote Milgard.

A few years ago I had new Milgard windows installed. The seal on my small window broke. I was upset called the company that did the install and was told Too Bad So Sad too much time has passed. Just prior to Covid I was looking at upgrading other windows in my home. I mentioned how mad I was about the Milgard window. He said call them they can maybe do something to fix it. I sent an email thinking I would never hear back. On Friday I got a message that a tech was coming buy on Monday. Again I thought eh....they are just going to say it was out of warranty. Within a few minutes Ramon was fixing it. It is now back to perfect. I am very happy with the service + the follow-up from Milgard.

Recently two windows in the kitchen were not opening and closing properly. I hesitated to call for repair because I no longer had the original receipt and paperwork. However I saw that Milgard advertises a life time guarantee, so I called the 800 number. It was a long wait on hold but well worth it. When I finally got to the representative she was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We set up a service appointment and a technician arrived to fix the windows by replacing the inner sliding pieces, free of charge. Super satisfied and glad we made the choice to buy Milgard!
