In the past I have used Preferred glass for two showers and glass cupboards...the install and the look has been fabulous.This time we decided to replace windows in our home. Preferred is a Milgard rep and Chris is their expert and a great guy. He came to our home and accepted all our custom requests with a very reasonable quote. We went to 3 different companies and by far, Preferred was the best price and was willing to honor all our special requests. All the staff are great and very respectful.The install had its difficulties but they did not give up and even called in Milgard for an extra inspection. We also had a problem with one window that Alan the owner, replaced at no charge.I would highly recommend Preferred for your window replacement & glass needs.

Let’s start by stating that the owners of this place, show no professionalism what so ever. They have no business ethics, no manners, no decency, they don’t come through with what is promised, they are cheap, the way they do business is so bad that it makes you wanna write reviews like this so other people don’t get taken advantage of. I got the opportunity to speak to the owner my self, he’s not only unprofessional, rude, disgusting, but thinks underpaying people for services is acceptable. I am appalled by such behavior, guess the more money you have the more entitled you become and think treating other people poorly is not only acceptable but becomes the norm! 🙅🏽‍♀️ This must be dealt with and people with businesses like this should not be allowed to exist, I highly recommend you do NOT go here, read other reviews from unhappy customers/clients and you’ll see I am not wrong. They were very professional, and the installers did a beautiful job with our new windows. They even found a few defects in the windows before installing them, and made sure that they got reordered.

Bad experience with this place. I elevated my experience to the owner who chose to simply IGNORE my complaints. I provided a letter and several photos. They installed a piece of mirror over my sink in a bath remodel in 2013 and didnt seal the bottom correctly...water got under the mirror and it started flaking. They now refuse to take responsibility for this saying the mirror was installed BEFORE we installed the sink so it was behind the sink, which is ridiculous. How could they have measured this custom piece of glass if the sink wasnt even in yet? It was designed to fit the entire space above the sink to the ceiling, to the wall on the left, to the shower on the right and to the sink on the bottom with a hole cut for the light fixture. Because the glass in our new shower had also started badly leaking water, they did send a crew out to fix this and it appears (their words) it was never sealed correctly around the metal pieces that attached it to the bottom when it was installed on the same day as the mirror. They did reseal it while there, but the sealant was placed in an ununiform, unprofessional, bumpy manner. If I wanted it to look crappy I would have done it myself. Honestly. Im getting my 2 other bathrooms remodeled this summer and am happy to advertise that Preferred Glass will NOT be getting my business again. Their warranty is useless no matter what they say. We waited over 10 years to have this bathroom remodeled, and work too hard for our money to choose a business that cannot accept responsibility for their failure to provide a quality end product.Im also providing photos showing that the mirror was installed level with the sink (not as they are claiming...installed behind the sink prior to the sink being installed so unable to seal) as I placed a knife on the sink and stuck it below the mirror and it stayed flat...that means its level.

Great company. Where else can you purchase windows 17 years ago and have a leak and the company responds to an issue.. Not only did they send workers out to inspect the window the owner of 45 years Allen wanted to inspect it also. They return and caulked it and if had another issue they would help. In this day and age is its amazing that some companies really care. This company you can really trust. Thanks Allen, Debbie and the crew.

I have used Preferred before for a mirror job. This time I have an Airbnb rental that all of a sudden they want us to install a key lock on the outside of the sliding glass door. I called Preferred and after looking discovered I had 2 different types of doors. The 40 year old original and one that was done as an addition 5 years ago. Preferred said that it could be problematic for them to identify which one was better suited to get an outside key lock and they may or may not be able to help right away. I needed it completed in 2 days. They referred me to another company who they said they know, who only works on sliding doors. I so appreciate this honesty. They put the needs of the customer first and that deserves a nice public review.

Great company to deal with. In the contractor/construction arena its hard to find people who work with someone like me who isnt a specialist. Rachel from inside sales helped get us setup for a very very large mirror. Setup our install and their staff showed up on time. We had one glitch (my fault) and they took care of it quickly.
