UPDATE: Down to one star. Weve been using the Albertsons pick-up service for the past few months, and with rare exception, the service has - as usual - been poor. Probably the most frustrating thing has been placing our orders the night before, only to pick-up the next day and find several items either substituted or simply out-of-stock (all items were said to be in-stock when we placed the order). Furthermore, we went inside the store the last time this happened, only to find several items were indeed on the shelves. Time to try somebody else.Good selection; terrible service.One of the first things we noticed about Albertsons was their large selection of goods. It was nice to look at the various brands and types of products available (especially when on a specific diet). As usual, the food that is good for the body is not-so-good for the pocketbook!Aside from the minor stuff like slow cashiers, the reason this review gets only two stars is due to the surprisingly poor customer service at checkout. A seemingly lack of baggers put me in the position of bagging my own groceries. Normally this would never be a problem. However, as I was doing so, no less than three Albertsons employees engaged in a casual and raucous conversation at the very next check-out lane. At no time did any of them stop to help as I continued to bag my own groceries. Huge customer service fail.

This is the worst store where you can go to buy your products because it was the first time that I went to this store and I was disappointed to go back to buy at this store. things are disorganized because it has many very long sections and then they are long because it has long sections and there is soft drink in a million places there is a cookie in a million places everything is disorganized there is no organization without talking about the staff who are not able to help you find I was adeli a product so that the person there would help me with what I wanted and what he did was treat me badly a very despotic person a horrible person that I do not know how he works there this store I do not recommend it to go buy your product because you are going to leave like me I left angry and brave with everything and for everything I do not recommend it terrible until the service in the box terrible the person stayed Chatting with a lady the in love with the lady that time When I should follow the line and attend to me and continue with the people no he stayed Chatting with a lady making her fall in love at that moment the cashier the cashier who disrespects.

It was easy and quick to get in and out of this Albertsons. I needed a couple of things and it couldn’t have been easier. The store is very clean, I even saw an employee dusting displays throughout the store. There is a Starbucks inside and a “wine cellar.” The people I interacted with were also very nice and helpful.

Ive come here for years.The managers and checkout folks are dependable, kind and helpful. Helpers come and go and generally any bad experience Ive had here come from them.I needed a special yogurt for my kids and the guy stocking the shelves unprompted asked which and put some aside for me to come back and get it. Thats customer service folks!Clean, stocked and the helpful staff makes it easy to come back here.

This was our fifth car we bought from you. Always a pleasure coming here. We recommend many of our friends to come here.. thanks till nex time....jeep next time.

Salad selection is ok, used to have more variety, not so much this time. Very clean and organized. Produce is good. Love the open hours.

Albertsons makes it easy to locate items, and very helpful if you cant find something.

The store has everything: groceries, deli with some cooked food, bakery and pharmacy. The fruits are most of the time fresh and delicious.

This is a super stores with an awesome variety, even has a sushi bar.

Prices higher than anyone else but they have the best selection. Friendly staff especially the guys at the meat department 5 stars for their willingness to always go our of their way to be of service.

Clean & usually well stocked. Its good to double check receipt just in case coupons or digital Just4U offers didnt go through. Service desk can help if you run into an issue. Currently there is a Starbucks inside as well.

Purchased some cuos from Starbucks on launch day unfortunately when I got there ( noonish ) everything nearly was gone ! Your batista was super unfriendly seem like he didnt wanna be there !

It was a pleasant experience, I did not have to wait, got my vaccine and waited 15 minutes sfter the shot in case of any complications. I was pleasantly surprised how orderly it was. I hope to get my second vaccine at the same place.

The people that live in this area can be snobs but the folks that work here are fine people.

I had the greatest shopping experience yesterday, because of the wonderful service we received from Dan the store manager. Shopping during this difficult time hasn’t been pleasant for a lot of us these days. I received great customer service yesterday and he showed me that he truly cares for his customers and community. Just a nice guy!

I can usually find what I need, I just have to find it! App helps me buy on sale. Manager Dan is very helpful and cheerful.

They had interesting things that other specialty stores have, I was also surprised they had alot of good sales on good items, and it was a clean store. Ill shop there again. The staff were friendly. I havent been in Albertsons in a year. Good experience to be back.

This is a large and convenient grocery store. Professional, friendly staff that is always happy to help. There is a Starbucks in the front for those who need coffee before shopping. Plus, clean, unlocked restrooms located near the front of the store. This is a big deal since most businesses here have started locking restrooms and if someone needs to use the restroom in a hurry they can just walk in and not bother to get a code or a key from an employee.

The store itself is nice and usually has everything I need.... that being said, there are never enough employees at the check stand. Long wait times and today the line went down the entire frozen aisle and all the way to the Dairy section, which is ridiculous and inexcusable. The express checkout line had no employees yet wasn’t blocked off adding to the confusion for customers. I watched a lot of people ditch their cart and leave, including myself. Whoever is scheduling employees needs to step it up, I shouldn’t have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to buy 3 items and you lost a lot of potential sales by trying to cheap out on labor. I feel bad for the 4 checkers, hopefully they get their break today. Total fail Albertsons!

Gloomy place!! Looked down n out. Pretty depressing actually. Poor employees. And the majority of the surrounding shops are all gone. Shopping center looked pitiful!! Wont be going back to that place again. I should have taken pictures too...

Made an order through online delivery for a sick family member in another city. The food was delivered so promptly that the receiver couldnt believe it. The delivery charge was really reasonanle.

It’s been a long time since I have had an employee in a grocery store treat me so poorly.

Love the changes they have made in the past few years or so. Everything looks very high end and organized beautifully (specifically the organic section of produce and the alcohol sections). Always have great staff.I am not a fan of the fresh spicy guacamole I tried. It didnt taste like guacamole to me. Bland. Otherwise place is great. Floral and Starbucks too!

Store was clean, but didnt have the item I wanted, despite the fact that they have it listed.

Second time Ive been in this store; and it is my last visit. I feel uncomfortable when I shop at the Simi Valley Albertsons on Madera Road. Why...because Im a Latina. Gave 2 stars only because the girl that bagged my groceries was the only friendly person. This was the only Latina that was near any of the check out counters. I think you have an idea now why I felt uncomfortable at this store. The first visit...was even worst. I actually encountered a women that made a racist comment to me. Im shopping at Vons.

The worker at the deli counter was kind and helpful. I love this Albertsons.

Beautiful store

I have been a customer for 13 years and have had 13 years of outstanding customer service in all departments. Today I want to especially recognize Maria and Tonia in the meat department. They have always accommodated my needs when I needed extra help when hosting family meals, by special ordering, cutting and selecting meats and great suggestions. They are always courteous and professional. I appreciate how clean and organized the department is in, the glass is always clear and clean and makes it a joy to shop there. I look forward to shopping there for years to come.Thank you for the new bathroom floors!!

Fantastic customer service!Tracy and Ashlee were so helpful in the floral area. Tracy built me a custom floral arrangement that was simply the BEST money Ive ever spent. My girlfriend loved them.Tracy saw me looking around the flowers and immediately asked if I needed assistance.And Ashlee helped me with the card with her handwriting :)Definitely coming back for anniversaries and birthdays.

Paper goods and any thing with germ killing ingredients were gone from the shelves. An employee said they make delivers every other day, you would think Albertsons would make an effort to keep the shelfs stocked to reduce the anxiety in the community during this difficult time. Just saying

This Albertsons has it all! Along with the pharmacy, theres a full service Starbucks inside. The head pharmacist was very quick to begin recognizing me and I transferred all my prescriptions here. The produce area was recently remodelled and their new bins looks fantastic along with help keeping the fruit cool. The deli has a good selection of meats and cheeses and have recently expanded their packaged salad offerings which for me is my favorite! My only complaint would be when they remodelled the store they did away with the self checkout. For a couple quick items I loved it! Fast quick and easy. Now, routinely the lines will be ten long in the express Lane! Kudos for not losing jobs to robots, but they REALLY WERE CONVENIENT!.

Best deals on soda (cans) and breakfast cereal, among other items. I always save about 1/3 of my total bill by buying things on sale here; today I spent $110. I saved $50 off my initial bill of $160 before the sales were applied.

Store is always well stocked. Employees are courteous and helpful. Has a bakery, deli, pharmacy, meat counter, Starbucks, ATM, movie rental kiosk, lottery ticket purchases and is well organized. I love to shop at this store!

Has it all, big, clean, parking galore.

Ive been a regular customer for YEARS. And one time I walked in with my backpack on and within 10 minutes I was confronted and called a thief!! They accused me of stealing and asked what was in my backpack!! I was beyond insulted and so embarrassed. I had to explain myself and prove my innocence. I will never forget the way they degraded me. This experience truly hurt my heart and I will never go back there again. They never even apologized after I was proven innocent. It was beyond hurtful and wrong what they did to me.

6 months ago this store ran better. Today I was 7th in line at the register as several employees just walked by and one seems to ask or get any help where it is needed. Just a general decline of the past months.
