Ill start by saying this is the place that got the bid for my wifes wedding ring. She absolutely loved it and still does to this day! The staff have always been very easy to deal with too. That is about where my good experiences have ended. I have bought at least 10 to 15 different things from here for family and all but one has broke or the quality of the items deteriorated very fast. For this reason unfortunately i have taken my business elsewhere.
Staff is always so friendly! My husband bought my engagement ring at the Haywood Mall Kay Jewelers originally. We were married in my home state NY and since moving down here together almost a year ago to date, I have been coming to this location in simpsonville for my yearly ring cleanings and inspections. I always have a pleasant, easy and quick experience. 😀

Very poor customer service, I had to call corporate on this location. I recommend nobody spend any money with them and take your hard earned money to other jewelry stores to accommodate your needs

They were extremely helpful. We were looking for a ring and they had it. However, the one they had the center stone had a visible imperfection. I told them I did not want that particular one. The manager ordered in 3 more for me to look at. One of them was absolutely perfect! She helped me determine the size that I needed and sent it off. It came back a couple weeks later and it is wonderful! I went back another time because I had bought a watch somewhere else that needed some links taken out. They did it without charging any extra. The staff also remembered us when we came back. They are extremely nice, helpful, and personable!
Better experience this time then my first time visiting. I had purchased a chain which kept breaking and I was extremely frustrated. The manager made it right in the end. They will work with you which is rare these days. You can trust they will solve your issues if you have one
I dropped my necklace in the parking lot after getting it cleaned, Steven found it and called me to tell me it had been found!! Very thankful it was my 30th birthday present from my mom so it meant a lot! So thankful Steven went the extra mile to contact me. They have always been very friendly and helpful. If you have to go hear deal with Corine she is absolutely phenomenal. I went into the store with tears because of a lost/stolen ring and came out with a smile she is phenomenal!

Cleaned my rings and didnt charge me
My husband and I get a lot of our jewerly made bespoke from a private Master Jeweler in LA (not Kays), so we are well versed in this area of design. I popped into this shop asking to see some different profiles for mens wedding bands and the young assistant said she had never heard of that and from there her attitude got worse, and the obvious lack of product knowledge showed itself more and more. I dont believe these student assistants are trained, but at least hire people with some manners. In all, the sales people dont know much (maybe i should have asked for a senior staff member) and the product is all cookie-cutter. Depends if thats what you like or what youre use to.

Terrible service, rude workers, and way overpriced. I needed a basic sekio watch resized, however not only did they not have the tools necessary, they were going to charge 30$ for a basic watch resizing. Even without their curt customer service I would never recommend them to anyone. Go to Clarks!!

My fiancée and I went in to see if I could find my matching band for my engagement ring. We were quoted a price of 10,000 for a simple band. I ask to see a picture of the band since it wasnt in the store. The three ladies showed me a picture of my engagement ring. Come to find out we found the matching band for my engagement ring and it was only 450.00.. someone tell me how you get 10,000 dollars out of 450.00. They definitely dont know what they are doing. I wasnt stupid to fall in there trap. Never shop at Kay in Simpsonville.

Even though I couldnt get my watch sized (due to its brand) the staff was no less than awesome! I will be back for future purchases. Side note, good luck to them both in nursing school!!

Shopped for a plain gold mens wedding band, and was quoted TWICE as much as Clarks Fine Jewlery down the street. Avoid Kay at all costs. Looks like you spell Krooks with a K too...

I received a pair of gold earrings for Christmas 2014. In less than three weeks and a handful of times wearing them, one of the closures failed and I lost the earring. I brought in the remaining earring to show how the clasp could fail and asked what they could do. I was told because my husband did not purchase additional insurance, they would do nothing. I asked for the manufacturers name, so I could contact them and was told they had no way of knowing who the manufacturer was, which I find hard to believe. I really felt that this shows exceptionally poor quality merchandise, and poor customer service. I would hope merchandise priced over $200 should last longer than three weeks. Complete waste of money, we will never shop at Kay again.
Now I will say I didnt get my wifes ring from this specific store, but we decided to go to this store on account it was closer than the mall. We only brought her ring up to this store to have it resized on account that it was a little to big to begin with and we thought that it was fine since your finger changes sizes over the different seasons, better to be safe then sorry we decided to get it sized a little smaller and have it sent out. The young red headed lady assisted us with it and said it will be back within two weeks. We waited two weeks and came back to get her ring. We walked up the front desk and asked if her ring was here and at that time we had a black haired lady that was very friendly and went to fetch her ring from the drawer under the counter, once she had return from finding the ring she stated that her ring was never sent out and that the paperwork was filled out wrong. No big deal accidents happen. The manager got involved and insured us that within 10 days the ring will be back and everything will back to normal. Well we waited 10 more days for the ring to return and finally on the 10th day I received the call saying it was in. That same day we went to get her ring, once we got it instantly we knew something was wrong because the two bands didnt line up meaning they didnt measure up to the engagment ring. The same lady I dealt with stated oh both rings were suppose to be sent out. Not knowing that she was the one who helped us the last time and didnt think that she could have done it. The same manager got involved and said to give it a few months when the weather changes, it should line up perfectly. I knew that they were trying to get us out because they didnt want to admit that they made a mistake. A few days later I took the ring up to kays in the Haywood mall and explained what was going on and they helped me get everything situated and her ring sent off again, they even took pictures and showed me the work order that was sent off. Needless to say I will not be going back to this store ever again. I got this ring back in October 2017 and gave her this ring on January 1, 2018 on account this is the ring she always wanted and I wanted to surprise her with it. My wife has not even had this ring on her finger for not even a month yet.

I order a mother ingraved pendent an was told bye the sales person that I could have it bye Christmas then call to check on my order an,was told that i,wouldnt receive it tell January 5th so I tried to cancel the order only to be told I couldnt tell it came in now Im out 400 an have to try to find a present for my wife just before Christmas I will never buy any other item from this company or any company they a ere tied too an would recommend anyone else to do the same......
