I have been to many of the other fine firearms dealers in the local area. Out of all of them I find myself always going to Upstate Armory Group for all of my needs. Whatever your looking for, check their website! They can get any of the firearms listed there and the price you see is the price your going to pay. Id your looking for a great FFL for firearms you have purchased online you cannot do better than to select Upstate Armory Group as your transfer shop! They have the lowest transfer fees in town! You will love their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Never once have I felt like I was not wanted there or bothering them in any way. I will be going back frequently to givethem as much business as I can!

Picked up my Taurus Judge today. I checked around at other local gun shops and Upstate Armory is by far the best place to get a cerakote finish on your gun. They listened to what I wanted and turned my vision into reality. Dont waste your time with anyone else. Trust Upstate Armory with your firearm and you will not regret it.

Best Gun Shop in the upstate. Went in with some questions about building a lower receiver and walked out knowing I found a true gem of a retailer who cares about their customers and sells quality products. Have been in 4 more times this month doing the best I can to assemble the lower receiver with locally acquired parts. An employee named Brian even helped me with installing the muzzle brake. Have sent several more people their way and look forward to future business.Avoid the big box stores and support great local businesses like Upstate Armory Group

All of the variety of a big box store with the mom and pop atmosphere I love. These guys are not looking to get rich off of me, and their price points will always be the bottom line. I have not found a place that works harder for my business, nor a friendlier or more knowledgeable staff.

Awesome place. Folks are very friendly and their advice is sharp. They have a variety of firearms and can build you pretty much whatever you want. They carry some lesser known local brands which is cool. They also have a small used firearm section too. Great store. I was very glad I found it.

Ordered an NFA item through silencershop and chose UAG.inc as my dealer because they have a kiosk. After approval I came back to pick up my item and was asked to pay a $50 transfer fee. I tried reminding them that silencershop covers the transfer fee. They wouldnt let me leave with my item until I paid. I contacted silencershop to make sure I was not mistaken. They replied If the item is purchased from us and picked up by a powered by dealer, there should not be a transfer fee. UAG.inc is a powered by silver dealer with silencershop.

Rude service on the phone. Price mark up on a century arms ak47 was 1,299 & retail is 800. Never ever again.

I never write reviews but this place has been awful. I’ve been to multiple gun shops and this has been the worst gun shop I’ve ever enter. My friend and I went in and was not greeted at all. The staff was staring at us like we don’t belong in the store. I honestly felt profiled. The owner wouldn’t even look at us. So we stopped an employee to ask for help and he was rude and looked at me like I had no gun knowledge while I asked him if they had a specific shotgun. He walked off while we were talking and as he walked away I asked if he had a specific magazine for my pistol and he said “nope” and walked away. I will never take another step into this gun store. Nor will I give them my services. Avoid this place at all cost. Especially if you’re a minority.

Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. There’s plenty of fun things to look at. They are my preferred FFL from now on.

Had a firearm shipped there for transfer. The fee was low and the people were very friendly. Spent quite a while talking to several of them. They have some unique firearms and an overall cool store, Defiantly worth a visit.

After walking in today around 3 I wasnt greeted at all even though the store was empty and there were 3 people behind the counter. I walked around for 10 minutes with no one saying anything to me at all. 2 people walked in after me and were greeted and helped, so my money must not be good there and I left. Will never even think of returning

This is the one and only review Ive ever written on Google about a business, if this tells you anything.Extremely unprofessional and rude customer service. Chris (gunsmith) seems knowledgeable about guns, but his people skills leave much to be desired. I brought a shotgun in there for routine maintenance. A critical part on the gun was lost when I went to pick it up. Rather than trying to work with me and solve the issue, I was told that I was wrong, a liar and told to never come back (which was not going to be an issue regardless). Still had to pay $50 for the services performed.I was told this was a reputable gunsmith. I cannot dis recommend this place highly enough. If anyone at Upstate Armory is reading this...knowledgeable gunsmiths are a dime a dozen guys, good customer service is what really sets stores apart from one another and this store is sorely lacking in that. 1 star is being gracious.

Outstanding customer service and staff.

These folks are THE BEST around. They have stuff that no one else carries for unbelievably low prices. If you cannot find something at one of the other places. You can find it here or they will get it for you. Actually, Go here first, you wont go anywhere else. The staff is top notch. They treat everyone with respect, from the lady buying her first gun, to someone with years of experience. I went in the other day looking for a simple cheap rifle sling for a specific use. They had exactly what I needed for way less than I even imagined that I was going to have to pay. Friendly, helpful, good down to earth people, and great stuff, That is Upstate Armory Group. And with my background, I kind of know when I find a good place where you can feel confident that you are buying exactly what you need.

The best part of my experience at this store was the little puppy that greeted me and my wife when we entered.Not once were we spoken to by anyone. I couldnt tell who worked there and who didnt. I was looking for a specific handgun and I also saw one that I was interested in.Im never going back.

Indoor range is fun but not long enough. It is a pistol range only but I like to shoot my pistols at distances most people zero there rifles at. Nothing beats shooting outdoors unless its bad weather. I will go back and definitely recommend checking it out.

First met these guys at a gun show in 2014. I bought a Stag Model 4 from them that day and love it. I stop by a few times a month. They have some of the best prices in Greenville. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. They dont treat you like a child like some gun shops.

Upstate Armory has always has the best pricing in the upstate. $15 transfers. Nicely laid out showroom loaded with the latest firearms and accessories. If they do not have what you are looking for their knowledgeable staff will find it and obtain it for you.The only thing you will not find there is poor service or a bad attitude.

I plan on using the shop again but I do not want to do business with the Old white-haired Gentleman who charged me $15 more than I should have been charged even though Id ordered the firearm through this companys website. He told me that that information that I received on the phone about ordering from them and not being charged the transfer fee was untrue and while I was having this conversation with him he berated a younger sales member and said they were having a conversation here and send him packing very rude. Then I asked for the manager he said he stepped outside not offering any help so I left and outside the door was the manager and I asked him about it and he gave me the $15 back if I was the manager I would count the till and if its $15 short you know where the money is I hope no one else has been scammed..... Ive been back twice since this incident and each time Ive been treated extremely well by all parties I believe that they reward their loyal customers by not charging extra even if you do not buy the gun from their website.

The staff at UAG are very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Theyre not salesmen theyre gun guys, never pushy always nice. If they dont have what you want, which depending on your taste may happen, Jason will do everything he can to source it. Of course in these situations patience is required. @Jared Subway, dude you are a hater, grow up. Sometimes you have to wait, a whole week... boo hoo. If Jason was rude to you, you probably deserved it. He runs a business not a daycare.I have purchased several things from them, most of them not in stock, and never had a problem. Jason has always been respectful and helpful and in many occasions extra patient with me. Their prices are competitive for the area and on more than one occasion they have been better than the online stores. I would and have recommended this store, a family owned and local business, to all my friends and anyone who cares to read this.

Purchased a firearm from them on Gun Broker. They mislisted it with the wrong color, but charged me anyways. No big deal, right? I asked for a refund and was told it would take around 2 weeks to process.Fast-forward about 15 days. Still no refund. No email or phone call that it was sent. Called on Monday and asked for info, never received a call-back. Called on Tuesday morning and said unless I received word from them, I was going to dispute the transaction. Spoiler alert: never received a callback.I called my bank and disputed the transaction. It was only then I was informed (by my bank, not Upstate Armory) that the refund was sent.I would have been happy to not leave negative feedback or a 1 star rating, but the complete lack of customer service is ridiculous. It would have taken 5 minutes to send and email/call and let me know that they had processed the refund, I wouldnt be leaving this negative review or spent 15 minutes on the phone with my bank.Seriously, your online customer service is a joke. I will not be doing business with Upstate Armory ever again.*EDIT: Be careful doing online business with them. Theyll leave libelous reviews for your account you are not happy with their terrible service.

I stopped by on a lark just to look at some ARs. Very helpful and willing to answer all of my questions. When I went back to see if they would buy my old SKS on a trade, they gave me what I considered a fair price. The rifle I bought from them was a fair price too. I’ve bought other things since then and also looked at some sights. Every time I go there they are always happy to help.

Best customer service Ive ever experienced at a gun store! These guys are down to earth, know what theyre talking about, and take care of people. Large selection of products, good prices, great people! I had a manufacture issue with a gun part. While most places will tell you to deal with the manufacture direct, UAG took care of it start to finish for me. When the manufacture said theyre having problems with that run of parts, UAG told me to come in, well make it right. And they did!!! I showed up, they explained, then just gave me a replacement part (which was a significant upgrade) and said theyd deal with the manufacture return/refund. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Been in the store 3 times, most recently this weekend. Same thing...not one of the 3 employees present ever acknowledged my presence or offered assistance (I was searching for a Tapco SKS magazine this time). And once again, after 15 minutes I left the store without speaking with anyone. With an atmosphere like that, I wont be back.

Owner is rude to the coustomers. The staff seems to be ok. I would not go back unless I had to. Gave 3 stars just based off selection of firearms. I have gone back against my better judgment in surch if a firearm they claim to have had. After making the 30 drive I find out that they never had the gun in stock.
