Over priced goto Walmart stuffs 50 cents to a dollar less Per item.

Great grocery store!! The produce is fresh and the gas deals are awesome!! The gift card for getting the vaccine was a nice touch. If the membership was cheaper, Id get it. I can get Walmart+ for the same price and get more than just groceries.

Pops on sale, great prices. Went to this store early morning 6:30am Oct 15. They heaving a big baking sale. Non of the products on sale were marked. When checking out, non of the employees knew what I was talking about. So disappointing. This is not the Hy/Vee Im used to.

Staff is always, happy kind, caring, and helpful! Everything is easy to find, store is very clean.

Hy-Vee actually had cashiers that would check our groceries. No self check. They offered a bigger variety of choices but they are also a little more expensive. Store was clean and staff was helpful.

Great prices and I always have a pleasant experience when interacting with the employees there. Theyre always friendly. Especially the girls at the customer service desk and behind the meat counter

In comparison to the downtown Des Moines hyvee I’m used to it’s got a lot to catch up on, however, for Sioux City it’s fantastic!

Hyvee has one of the best grocery selections in town. Some items are slightly more expensive compared to other national chain grocery stores, but they have so much more to offer. I really appreciate the variety in the produce selection and plant based options that were difficult to find anywhere else until recently, such as tempeh and vegan mayonnaise.

Friendly staff. My mom and I have breakfast at the Hamilton Hy Vee every Monday morning. There are two workers that serve us and they are always so nice and helpful. Thank you!

Expensive and checked was rude. Hy-Vee is usually great in customer service. I asked a question and was ignored by the checker and the bagger. The manager was very helpful

My mother had a terrible experience here today. She explained to the lady packing her groceries that she has congestive heart failure and therefore needed the items in need of immediate refrigeration sorted from others, because she isn’t likely to be able to put it all away at once. The associate did not do this, even when reminded by the young person at the register of the sorting request. This meant that my long-retired mother had to push past her reasonable limits for her health designed so that she does not die from overexertion, in order to assure her groceries did not go off.The worst part, however, is that when my mother requested assistance loading her car, the associate instead pushed the cart at her and left without acknowledging the request. My mother mentioned she thought the associate was middle aged or older, possibly management.It’s impossible to waive this away as inexperience and simple incompetence. Even if there was some reason the associate was unable to help load the cart, her rudeness in wordlessly rejecting the request is absolutely vulgar. My mother believes she remembers the associate’s name, but I won’t include it just in case she is incorrect. I appreciate the cashier who attempted to provide good service, and I assume that’s the more usual standard among employees.

Never have made a single trip here without at least one item being much more than its tagged price. They will act all bothered to go back and look for you, and take the dollar off, but they make it take an extra 5 minutes.If you steal a dollar from every customer every trip, its millions of dollars. Funny how it never rings up cheaper than its supposed to be... scam much?

Once I went there for the sole reason to eat at the cafe for lunch. 9/10 really good

This trip was disappointing. Slow checker, no bagger, and I didnt see one helpful smile. Store has good offerings, but aisles are cramped. It was busy, they had some good specials I wanted to take advantage of or I probably would not have been there at that time. Early morning is best here. Parking is problematic at this store, too much traffic!

Had the rudest Hispanic male working in the meat counter on Sunday afternoon. Very disappointed in your help especially slackers. Ready to try Walmart or Fareway.

Good selection of groceries and other items but I picked out three things of makeup and one of the female staff members started following me around basically like chasing me around the store the entire time I was there like I was a theif or something and I was not stealing anything I bought all the items I picked out. It was very offensive and very rude

Very helpful. I had my 5 year old daughter with me and the cashier just loved her. He made sure she got these balloons that she wanted and gave me .50 off. Thank you. The little things mean the most to u$!!

This is a good grocery store to shop at. Since they lifted the Pandimic restrictions its alot better. I like shopping at all the HyVees.

I love the serloin steak with the Bacon around it. So good. I go when I see stuff on sale. Great product. But kinda spendy.

Seem to have the things others dont and are relatively easy to find.

This is a great store to go to. They have just about anything you could need, and they frequently have good deals on just about everything. They also have good Chinese food for affordable prices. I cant comment on there other hot foods because Ive never had them, but I have heard only good things about them.

Im here visiting from Florida and let me tell you, this store is great! Wide selection of everything I need. Friendly and helpful staff. Most of all, the meat department is on point and amazing! One last thing...I was really impressed with how the seafood department did not smell like seafood. Very clean. Very organized. Beautiful!

I have ordered flowers from here twice for my mother in law who had surgery done at the Mercy Hospital. The ladies are always helpful, kind and the bouquets are BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for making her day brighter!

I found everything I needed, but I wish they had more staff. Due to the worlds pandemic I totally understand.

Hy-Vee is my go to for everything, staff have always been helpful and have walked me to whatever item I was in search of.

I shop here occasionally when I come to Sioux City the young ladies that checked me out very polite has pretty much everything you need there I mean if you like to have a drink or two maybe a bottle of wine I have a liquor store right there so you can go there and get your groceries and get your wine whatever you want to drink very convenient the people are you alright clean food is good that they prepare in the restaurant side of the store they have a bakery One Stop Shop not much else you can say they have a hell of a lot of parking easy access for everybody

Been going to this HyVee for the vegetables. Took a little while but once you get used to the layout its ok. Really like the rosted Turkey dinners. They have lots of verity in the produce section. The meet is also excellent. Really like the chicken tenders from the freezer. The staff is usually very friendly. Asol the fuel savers are helpful.

Need light bulbs in the bathroom but great place

Stopped in today to snag food for meal prepping. Everything I needed was easy to find and I was asked by 3 different employees if I was in need of help which was greatly appreciated!

A lot of the workers are not nice at all but last time I was there I had the honor of meeting Pablo. This young man helped and tried everything possible to find what I was looking for. Pablo advised me to call Dairy manager in morning. Pablo was very nice in admitting to things he did not know. I appreciated this so much. Dairy manager was just as nice, cheerful and gave me the information I was looking for.

The new curbside pick up has been extended to the kitchen. To that end the slots all along the south side of the building are dedicated to curbside pick up.They have been really good about fulfilling the requests that people put in, while still maintaining social distancing. Ordering online for pick up is easy, and they are willing to substitute if you mark it in your order, you can choose a substitute (and it will go item by item to get your second choice) or you can let them choose.Ive found that the best times of day for pick up (when I get the most of my order) is early morning slots that are not on the weekend.If you want toilet paper then you have to go inside the building to customer service where the limit is one package per customer.They also ask that only one person go in with the cart to do the shopping if necessary.

This is my neighborhood grocery store and I couldnt ask for more from them. Bright, clean, HUGE and staffed by friendly, helpful people. A restaurant, deli, bakery, meat counter, pharmacy, liquor store, fresh produce and soooo much more. A great store!

I was sold over oxidized hamburger. It tasted terrible and I did not eat it...

My only complaint is that price tags are sometimes missing so I cant compare the sale items to regular priced items.The meat market guys are always very helpful! They will answer all your questions and can even offer suggestions to help you with any occasion, big or small.

Food doesnt have as many selections as before and were also out of ground beef in the 1 pound rolls like Walmarts was. Advertised, but were out! Hard to find items in the store. Like items are not shelved together very good.

Always a good place to go

I like shopping at Fareway better than Hy-Vee. Hy-Vee is to confusing when looking for the stuff I need. We were there to get stuff we forget and we Christmas Shopping and stopped there. Ugh! Fareway is closer to my home.
