Good service and large clothing selection

JCP has changed since I was a kid. Decent selection of items, but store was no where what they used to be. Got what I needed and got out. Wont be going back either.

Very helpful staff, various price ranges. They carry a wide variety of sizes from regular to Big and Tall

Worth the drive around the mall. Coupons and discounts for cardholders every day

Love the selection of clothes for work. However, when I tried to find a few other items, I was a bit lost and the staff didn’t seem sure either. It was closer to closing so I wasn’t too bothered by it.

It needs some better higher end made clothes!

Very clean and organized housewares selection. Their towels cannot be beat for quality and price!!! Polite staff... but jewelry and clothing style selections have gone downhill...

Photo department needs work. Photographers need training on structuring family photos. Had to bring grandchildren back in the store to redo photos. The lady was just pointing and snapping shots.

Experience was good. Store doesnt carry pot hangers but they do have a pretty awesome clearance section and necklaces to hold your masks.

Very fast, employee sales help was right there to help. New skirt, good brand for 19.00 great prices, good quality.

The sales were great tonight. I had a very nice cashier and she was very helpful with getting a price corrected with her supervisor. I just wish the store had personnel that was working in the departments so you dont have to hunt down an employee for a question. I know the cut backs are due to COVID but I sure did miss the stores personal touch.

Pretty sub par clothing options all around, over priced for what it is. The womens junior section is real sad.

Exchange policy is a joke make sure to take a picture of your receipt they won’t even do an exchange and low ball the item price this is a huge scam first time buying at jcpenny in a long long time and I refuse to buy here again terrible customer service

Lots of selection for everyone from kids to adults. They have kitchen items, bathroom stuff, clothing, and bedding. There bedding selection in store is smaller than is to be desire but I found what I needed and it was on sale. Oh yeah. They also always have amazing sales too. Have shopped here for nearly all my life and will continue to do so.

It was hot, little to know AC, and the lines were long. Cashiers were pleasant. Annoying to buy clothes and not be able to try on, but ya know. Small store, lots of sales.

Expensive without sale

I think you need somebody working the shoe dept again cause you cant get down the aisles. My cashier Paige was very nice, efficient and quick at getting you checked out. Was a couple things I couldnt find but I know it was a busy day.

Its ashame their doors are going to be closing you will be missed,always enjoyed and will enjoy

The selection of womens clothing was good and the sales prices were low. The merchandise was displayed in an attractive manner. However, the check-out process was a little slow. There was only one person ahead of me in the line with two cashiers working but it still took more than 10 minutes to check-out.

All the workers are teenage girls constantly on thier phones rather than doing thier jobs.

Had to run in and grab a few things from JCPenneys so sad that its closing I love JCPenneys one of my favorite retail stores I used to buy all my kids is closed there when they were younger because they last they were quality and they were just good clothes and I like JCPenneys Ive always like JCPenneys

This is the nicest Penney’s store I’ve ever been to. It seems very elegant and is always very clean. They have such a big store and a ton of inventory.

Good variety of merchandise

I ordered a new handheld electric blender and I went out to JCPenney and picked it up. The young lady was quick and efficient. We even opened the box too check for any damages to the blender, which there were none.

Love this pennys! all your clothing needs are there. Also was able to order and have shipped to us some really nice kitchen blinds. Very helpful staff that was patient and work with us.

I was forced to hit one star so I could express my thoughts. If an order takes more than 3 weeks thats ruff. But, if after calling a few dozen times...local store and 800 customer service...with nobody answering the phone thats piss poor service. Wont be purchasing from this store again.

Went to the Sioux city location to pick up my online order. They CLEARLY have a sign designated for online pickup. I was told I had to wait in the check out line. There was a lady 9 months pregnant who was told the same thing and was forced to stand there for 20min! This is absolutely ridiculous. The manager was extremely rude and could care less that this lady had been standing there. What is the purpose of ordering online and having a designated line to pick up if they will not help us? I will be posing this and I will share this. The lack of common decency by your manager was appalling.

Amazon is slowly killing this store, and it shows when you go inside.

The Sephora Store here is very unique..THEY HAVE EMPLOYEES THAT CARE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!❤❤ I had the best experience..this store should be teaching the others because in sioux falls they have such poor customer service i dont like to ask for help..as they roll your eyes if you want a color test or anythjng other then ringing up and taking yohr money. I had given up on sephora until discovered Sioux City Sephora. If corporate has any rewards programs..they need to give this store one along with benefit for employees that helped me three different days i bought products...as if wasnt for them i would be $600 richer but unhappy with my skincare or makeup...as i got a new make over..and started my way toward new beginning. From ugly tom boy..to glamour and sexy female....thanks ladies!

Wish they would give a call back for employment. Went in to check on application and the person said she hasnt seen it. Which is weird when she personally sent me an email. So I will be filling out another. Also was at the hiring fair is how I applied.

Because my order got canceled and JCPENNEY didnt even have common courtesy to call me just put the credit on my card. But I paid it with cash

Pennys sioux falls way better store

It was great had a young lady help us in large and tall department and the lady at check out was just as nice.

Customer service at this location has been so great this year, I would recommend this location for your holiday shopping.

Staff is great, they have expanded youth sizes as well as mens big and tall so everyone can get something.

Jcp wants your money but nobody on floor to ask questions to or enough people to check out. I had to wait 20 minutes to check out. Thats unacceptable to me, thats just poor service.

JC Penney is a Department Store. They carry mens and womens clothing, shoes, and accessories. From formal dress to casual, they have many styles, sizes, and brands. They also carry make-up and items for the home (small and major appliances, bedding, curtains and drapes, etc.).

Just trying to pick up a couple pairs of jeans. Found what I wanted pretty quickly. Still in the checkout line for about five seven minutes and when I got up to the lady to check me out she said she had to go help other customers on the floor and I should get in another line. So I started to shift over and then I gal came up to her and she said I can help you and started to ring her up. I was annoyed at this point so I just put the jeans back and walked out the store. Very poor experience at the Southern Hills Mall JCPenneys

I always find great deals or coupons here and I buy most of my clothes here because they have stylish varieties in different sizes than other stores. Love this place.

Ugh. So run down and no pride taken in displays or general cleanliness. The womens dressing room is absolutely disgusting and smells awful.

Always find what Im looking for. Service staff not so great. But they try.
