I went into the Sioux City location and was helped by Lizzy. She did an amazing job and found me the right foundation for me. She did suggest a few other products and I bought all of them. Im really happy with the things I purchased. Than you!

Ordered product online and it came with a free gift, chose pick up because I mean...free. Turns out store was out of the free gift, so they just got the original product ready. Went into pick up, realized no free gift asked them how to get it and Danielle took the time to go through everything with me and we ordered it online instead and had it shipped so I could get the gift. She was incredibly sweet, polite and attentive.

Nice place went in to get polish OPI google said it sold it but couldnt find it.

Plus - All associates were wearing masks. Cons - theres too much fragrance in that store. Ended up giving me a sinus headache.The majority of associates and products seemed geared to those 25 and younger, even though the majority of the people who were actually in the store appeared to be over 45.

I needed assistance with color matching. The woman that helped me was amazing. As soon as she was done with me she went to help another customer. I realized I needed a primer. There was another employee whom I was assuming she was talking to her friend as they were talking about the fun filled weekend with the boys they had. I waited for an opportunity to ask what the best primer is not trying to cut into their conversation. She became extremely rude and annoyed with me and pointed to the blue on across the store. No help from her and I put my $200 worth of makeup back. I wont be back ....

I went there for the first time on 2/14/21. Nice store and about every product you would ever need for your hair. The perfume selection was great too. I would for sure go back for those two things alone. Staff was nice and attentive. My only complaint is when I checked out, I was using a couple gift cards. The customer has to enter the code on the back - you just cant swipe the card. OK - I did that for both. Then I asked to use a in store coupon and was told I wouldnt be able to use it because I had already entered my gift cards. What? The coupon was $3.50 off of $15.00 and I was spending over $100.00 after the gift cards were taken off. I know $3.50 is not a lot - it was a little irritating.

The employees are so helpful!! With ULTA I always get ULTRA customer service.

Clean store a little spendy to me but dang they have my hair products and I will pay! They also had my moms perfumes too! The sales people were great they were not pushy and want out of there way to help me find all I needed!

I have been going to Ulta for about three years now for my brow shape, wax tint. You name it. Today I came into the Sioux City Ulta to see if they could just do a clean up on my brows. Never once have I been charged for a “brow trim”. When I asked why she said it was be cause she had to do a lot of trimming. I am sorry, but working in the profession I do you have to have a neat clean appearance. I never go long between services. 6 dollars to have a couple long hairs trimmed is a bit excess. Go else where ladies and gents.I also did not get my free gift with purchase when I bought shampoo.

Great variety for the younger ladies, not so much for an older woman looking for something in particular.

If I could give this place a negative zero i would, this is a balayage their manager said, it’s not Even close. I went to 3 different Hair salon and they all said this is not a balayage, my skin was irritated from the bleach Or idk what the heck was happening to my neck. Instead of telling me I need to come back a few time. She told me I could come back one more time IF I WANT TOO. I spend A LOT of money at their store, but they don’t know how to be nice to customers who spend a lot money at their store like me., such a disappointment they tried fix the problem after the damage is done. don’t be rude in the first place, I’m a customers if I’m wrong then help me understand that I’m wrong, not give customers attitude. I walked out of their store literally crying, that is what Dislike about the store, but some of the girls that works there is really nice and very helpful, some are just want you to buy the stuff and get the heck out.

I was there yesterday... nobody would help me, when I finally got someone they were short with me, didnt know where anything was and told me my urban decay primer was discontinued! And didnt even offer to help me find something to replace it!!! I struggle to walk due to my health so wandering around the store not knowing where to look just made me angry.

If I could give my recent visit a zero.. I would. Worst customer service Ive ever received at a store.. I was in there for 20-30 minutes, it wasnt busy, bit not one sales person acknowledged I was even there. I tried getting help with lipstick but three sales people were chatting and laughing and obviously too busy to help. When I went to pay at the register and was asked if I had found everything I was looking for...I said no. The only response I got was oh. Nothing more. I love ulta . But I will not be going back to this store.

Love going to Ulta. I would give it 5 stars but it is usually understaffed and they charge way too much for salon services.

My best friend is getting married and I was so glad that they had the setting sprays and powders that we needed along with waterproof mascaras and the strongholding lash glue

Hard to find the right makeup with no testers especially when you plan on spending some $$$. The girls working werent the most on top anything but they were friendly and attempted to help even tho they were short staffed

Go straight to Sephora! The people at Ulta do not help. There were five employees there in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon and I watched three of them set up a display with no regards to me. I was not greeted or acknowledged when I left. I go to those places because I do want and need help. PS. This isnt the first time Ive had the same experience just the first time I felt like sharing it.

Clean, well lit, and lots of parking. The ladies are ready to help you when you walk in the door. They do their best to help you find exactly what you need and will even offer to find online anything not in store!

Went to the salon for a hair cut today and Liz (shes listed as Elizabeth when you set up an appointment online) did such an amazing job! I had roughly 7+ cut off and dont regret it one bit - she was super gentle with my hair and is awesome to talk to :). Love my new cut, and the products she used on my hair seft it so soft and shiny! Ill be coming back in a couple months to have it retrimmed by her - highly recommend spending the few extra dollars to see her, shes well worth it!!

This was my first and last time going to their salon. I called and set up an appointment for touching up my highlights and darkening the rest. I showed the stylist a picture of the look I was going for. I sat there on Saturday from 6pm-9pm. When I got done I didn’t know if I should cry or laugh. I laughed and got upset and was confused on how the final result could be sooo off. Then she asked when we first started if I wanted a hair cut and I said the ends may needed trimming and pretty soon a razor edge scissors was going through my hair. The back part of my hair was black and the hair framing my face was orange, orangish? I looked ridiculous then on top of it the lady working the front counter said she really liked my hair. I’m sure she was just trying to be nice. I was charged $165 for something that I was definitely NOT wanting at all. So I go home and come back the next day (@ 11 am) thinking they can fix it correctly so I showed the same stylist a similar picture stating what I wanted which was pretty cut and dry. She started in again and I thought I’d be out of there by maybe around 230 at the latest. After the second time it was worst then the first time. Then she adamantly thought she could fix it again to no avail by the time I left which was a little after the store closing at 7pm. My hair is not how I wanted it at all. I was tired, hungry and the least they could have done was offered some water and my lower back hurt from sitting in that chair for 7 hours at a time. Good grief, now I’m waiting for the salon manager to call me back 😒 which I will stop in there if I don’t hear from her and no I’m not going back to sit in that chair again to “try” and fix it. I’d prefer a refund as $165 is not justifiable and unacceptable. I don’t know if the stylist didn’t know what she was doing or what?!?

The makeup is high quality and very good. But there was a lady and we were supposed to get a free gift with our purchase and then she was really really rude about it and gave us playing cards and said, Your not supposed to get a free gift but I will put one in anyways. I was very disappointed because I really enjoy Ulta but hearing about this cashier makes me not want to go.

Like always its very clean and an intimate experience, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful personnel booted with a fast checkout! Love this store and they go the extra mile to not make you feel out of place.

Just left this Ulta store I usually have a pleasant experience here, but today specifically “kayla “ was extremely rude. I had seen a sticker saying that a essence concealer was on clearance. When I went to pay I told Kayla that the sticker said a different price, and all she would say was “well it’s not ringing up that way so probably isn’t “ instead of going to check if I was wrong or right . I had to ask her MULTIPLE times if she could go check if i was wrong when usually a situation like that the employees would naturally go check. Horrible customer service

They have a good selection and some great items if you like high end makeup. The one issue is they send coupons and you cant use them on any of the name brand items. Last visit had two coupons from Ulta refused because of name brand item.

What a fun store. You can guarantee I will go back. Staff very friendly and polite. Prices reasonable. Large selection.

Ive heard great things about Ultas customer service but was sadly disappointed when visiting this store. No staff offered to help me. I finally approached someone to ask a question, and while she gave me minimal information, I felt she didnt really want to talk to me. I was told she couldnt help me any more because she had an appointment and then left me standing there. She could have offered to have someone else help me! Not sure Ill be back.

Good make up is expensive in general, but Ulta is good about having sales and good rewards. It not only has popular name brands, but good dubs as well. I choose Ulta over Sephora, because it tends to be cleaner, and have more to choose from.

Ive bought several items at reasonable prices. Some of the staff could use more knowledge of the products and how to apply them. Staff is very polite.

This store has no customer service. When they cant easily find something they say we dont have it and the web site is wrong, when they do have it. So I find out that they do have and on the phone one girl said she would put a bottle at the counter. When I go back to pick it up it is not there and they are too busy to go get it out of there shipment. The next day I call and they have the wrong color at the counter and I get the same line that the web site is wrong we dont have that shade and the web site is wrong. When it is a the most universal shade and this a new product and new shipment and web says they have it. If it was out of stock or something the web site would say that. I have found the web site to be accurate. Im sure that the display was suppose to be out. But they stated that they was to busy to put it out.I have had it with store this isnt the first time this store customer services sucked. They dont even know there own specials if you arent a savvy shoppers and call them on it you miss out on deals. I will not go back to this store I dont believe these gals are train very well. I have spent hundreds of dollars there but they just lost my business. Sephora well be my go to store.Disappointed in Sioux City Is.

Had my makeup and hair done and i felt like it was a complete waste of $100. took over four hours. missed my dinner reservation and i told her the time frame. as she was still into hour three of doing my makeup another costumer came in and her hair was done in thirty minutes. i feel like i just got unlucky with my stylist. she kept asking if i wanted certain stuff done like countour etc, nothing was applied well, all too feather like. there was a point where i just asked if i could do my eyebrows. you’d be better off going to a professional salon instead of a makeup store to get your stuff done.

I wish this location had better selection compared to other Ultas. They are often sold out or dont stock items Im looking for.

I visited this location twice and did not see a staff member until I was ready to pay. I dont wear makeup normally and had so many questions! The products were displayed beautifully and it was pretty clean for the most part.

Well here we go. If i could give 0 stars i would. I went in for a mens haircut and beard trim. I should have known in the first five minutes after my head was being bounced around like a basketball it wouldnt end up well. Ill admit the stylist tried but had no clue as to what the hell a mens haircut was. Took 45 minutes to cut my hair and shave a few hairs on my beard. I looked in the mirror when she asked if it was good, and thought are we looking in the same mirror. Seriously it was so bad after the haircut she asked if i wanted gel. Anywhere else im like yes. I look presentable after a long winter, but not this one. I wanted to put my hat on pay and get the heck out of there. So as im sitting in my truck reflecting im thinking i need this fixed. I wouldnt give my dog a haircut like i received and send him outside!! That bad honestly. So i decided to do what i should have done and went to cost cutters and pay someone yet again to try and fix the damage done by a supposed quality stylist. And while there i was the butt of jokes for receiving such a messed up haircut. Not sure if any of this is helpful to anyone. But i will be contacting management. Im a guy, so my thoughts are god bless you poor women if you get the same stylist i had.
