They provide exceptional customer service 🙂 They usually have motorized shopping carts available when I do shop there. The location is extremely convenient. Whenever I shop there its only for 1 or 2 things because theyre SUPER expensive! If you dont mind the very high prices then Hy-Vee will work great for you.

This chain of grocery stores has the best pork products you can get outside of a meat market. I also love that it has an excellent supply of GF and etc products for when I have to cook for family members. Their deals in the summer are fantastic. Each store is relatively the same, except the new ones can have restaurants, clothing stores and beauty areas. Ive eaten at the restaurants before and the casual ones are fine and the less casual ones have great deals for kids.

Most expensive grocery store in town. On the positive hyvee has beautiful produce and nice meats if your up to paying for it. On the other side if your buying prepackaged dairy or meats then beware the expiration dates. Ive had several incounters with expired product.

Their bakery has amazing, fresh, delicious bread! We made our own subs and the bread was spot on! The meat island had a great selection as well!

Good selection of groceries, bakery has a good selection of fresh breads and desserts. Meat department has lots of good quality meats and other items to pick from. Frozen and dairy departments have almost anything else one needs to make a good meal even better.

Great employee owned store. Great prices, and selection. Everyone is very friendly, and most are local people.

Hy-Vee grocery store is a staple in the Midwest. Every week they have great sales, fresh selection, good variety of produce, and summer grilling recipes. Straight out price for price it’s as good of a deal as you’ll find anywhere. Today I stopped in for fresh jalapeños, cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and bacon. I’m going to work on a new jalapeño popper recipe for tailgating

Curbside pickup was easy...took a little longer than expected but good service. I like that they can text to check about substitutions...that being said, they do charge the extra cost of substitutions to you. Walmart does not.

Its the cheapest of the Hy-Vees to buy groceries Usually. Its probably the smallest of the 4 in town so its easier to get around and I like the layout.

Its always clean. The employees stocking the shelves always acknowledge you when you walk by and say, Hi. Also, the managers will jump in to help the checker bag to help move along the lines. Its a great place!

Everyone is pretty helpful and kind. Except for the foreigners. The ones who wear a cloth on their head are super rude. But other than them I enjoy HYVEE alot.

Shop on Wednesday s take coupons out of paper to the store to shop. I am told that they are not good until the weekend!! This is bad . Workers at the store are super nice!

It is a great company, but the midst of a pandemic (And Iowa Policy) makes it hard for them to keep up. Sometimes you wont find your specific brand, although there are plenty of alternatives. Often crowded, the staff goes out of their way to help keep standards high, despite often careless customers. Definitely wear a mask to visit, lots of folks refuse to, despite well posted warnings and offers of assistance.

I had a very nice comedian for a cashier.

Love how much local community support Hyvee throws out. There is always a store close to wherever you are and they are open. Support students in school and good kids.

The deli crew here is awesome!! Always so nice and friendly gotta love them. They always go above and beyond required to make sure I’m happy with my food. It’s the small things that make a difference when you do manual labor everyday 😍

Friendly and helpful associates. Ive never had any problems with this store. Diane, Chris and Ashley in the Pharmacy Dept. have been excellent in helping me with several questions I have had during my husbands illness, and theyre still helping me. What a blessing. Tim and Dan in the meat dept. have been the same when I have questions regarding buying certain meats and preparations. Tarra in the deli., Sandy and Julie in the bakery dept. are all very friendly and helpful. There are several more but I cant remember their names.

I received my Covid Vaccine here today. Wasnt there not even 5 minutes. Fast and reliable.

You got everything you need and want

I have never had a complaint regarding Hy-Vee, until recently. When they first opened after the world closing for Covid, I was happy to see the steps they were taking to ensure the safety of guests. The first visit was great. The second, and the few I have had since then, not so much. They have signs up on each checkout (at the end) that tell you NOT to place your items on the belt until the cashier is able to sanitize the area from the guest in front of you. I have stood at the end of the belt (following their instructions), stood back, and waited. Each time, they stopped to look at me, motioning to place my items on the belt. I said, politely as possible, you arent going to sanitize like your signs right here say? and then they have an attitude and start wiping (sloppily, it seems, as kind of a punishment) and then dont want to talk to me the rest of the transaction. Its incredibly frustrating, as I only am asking them to follow their own signage and protocols. They also tend to run out of lots of items. Online shopping has become unreliable. The store itself is great. The inconsistency and treatment from a few of the staff makes me question returning.

Gail in the floral department (Gordon Dr.) is so sweet and the arrangers are amazing!!!I called as a distraught bride needing flowers two days later for my wedding. Gail reassured me and said she was there to help :] and indeed she was. The boutineers are perfect and the lilies are just right! The order was half of what I was going to pay at A Step in Thyme and I had ZERO stress after leaving Hyvee. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!

Sometimes I have to use a motorized cart due to my bad knee or diabetic neuropathy, and they dont make me feel judged here. I had several offer to help me out to my vehicle or get someone to help. Everyone I dealt with is kind, and I appreciate it. Thank you Hy-Vee for the positive environment to shop in!

Pretty standard supermarket its got decent prices and a good selection. Their meat department is quite good in my opinion and they usually have good deals on their brats and chicken breasts. Good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Employees arent super attentive but are friendly when approached and are usually somewhat knowledgeable about the store layout.
