Business owner accidently booked another guy and myself. He still got us both done and offered me a ride to the hotel and he would drop my truck off since the time frame was all wrong. The weather was nice so I walked back to my room anyways. He was very easy to work with.

Excellent work. I brought my 2019 Ram 3500 in because it was starting to show some rust flakes on it. Everything done to it was top notch, the quality of work was great. He is very meticulous, which I respect. Will be coming back in the future, it’s important to protect your investment.

Came here because of the good reviews and to be honest Im glad I did. Was worth every cent. Very professional, gives full details on how the product works, friendly environment, answered every question I had. Could not say there is another place that could beat this guy. I have to start off by saying the service was amazing. My situation was..... I dropped the the ball and forgot to schedule an appt to get my car rust proofed before we move to Hawaii. I called in on a Monday at 3pm (his day off) and he got me in. I explained I had forgot because of everything going on and I was to drive my car the next day to CA to drop my car off at the port. The owner got me in with in an hr. Saved my cars life...literally. I want to say thank you and your service is very much appreciated. Thank you for taking time on your day off. Excellent quality Woolwax treatment for my truck. He even went above and beyond and lubricated my doors and tailgate. Now everything works great and the wax has protected my truck all summer. Wipes off clean if it ever splatters onto the body and does not damage the paint. Great product and great service.

My wife and I are staying in Sioux Falls for the winter and we werent entirely sure what we should do to protect our vehicle. Dakota Rustproofing was one of the first places I called and Keith secured my business because he was extremely informative and courteous. Keith answered all of my questions thoroughly and was very hospitable offering many amenities in the waiting room. You can tell he takes pride in what he does because the level of detail and descriptiveness was very impressive. You could also tell that he enjoyed his job because of his great attitude and the singing coming from the garage throughout the appointment. Even after the appointment was over Keith spent some extra time cleaning up overspray on the truck and offering pointers on maintenance. Keith loves what he does and does a great job! Got my Acura rust proofed and Will bring my truck next! Glad I found his business, no way I could do this at my house or on my own!The shop is on the backside of a bodyshop-you drive through the alley next to Elston manufacturing. He can do appointments as late as 5 pm! This doesn’t show up when you try to book online (3 pm is the latest that showed up when I tried to book).

If I could give 6 stars I would. Great costumer service and worth every penny. Great thing to keep older vehicles from getting frame rot.

Rust proofing went great! I used this service last fall also. It made a big difference in keeping the rust under control on my car (older-2005). Our winters are tough on cars.

We were glad we made the long trip from Rapid City to Sioux Falls to avail of keiths services. He was on time for our appointment schedule and made us feel welcome in his shop while we waited. We appreciate how he kept us updated with the process and explained the pros and cons between the clear and black woolwax undercoat which cost more. It indicated that he cared more for the customers satisfaction over excessive or unfair profit. Keiths attention to detail was empicable as he found impacted mud in the inconspicuous crevices behind our fog lights. The area had rust buildup which would have worsened if it hadnt been addressed. He went as far as allowing us to pressure wash the gunk outside and come back thus taking more of his time. He truly is dedicated to his craft and makes sure you leave his shop happy.

Scheduled an appointment on a site that is pretty slick and easy to use. I had high hopes this would be a great place to extend the life of my truck with a quality rustproofing. I set the appointment for 1100. I show up 15 minutes early hoping to get in early. The place is locked up and the sign on the front says CLOSED and make an appointment. So I wait for my scheduled appointment time. At 11:01 I call the number on the building and leave a message. At 11:09 I call again and someone answers and asks if he can help me. I tell him I had an appointment at 1100. He said hes not at the shop now which to me is self evident or we would be having this conversation in person. Then he asks if I could reschedule for A little after one. I ask him; what do you mean by A little after one? To me, a little after one means 5-10 after. To some, its 30-40 after. Instead of giving me a time he says Ill be there in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, Im still sitting in front of his shop; nobody there but me. So now we are at 11:20; give or take a minute or so. But I give him the benefit of traffic lights. At 11:30 I decide my time is more valuable to me and I leave.Times are very tough right now. Small business are failing, shutting their doors. I would rather spend a little more and support small, local business than send my money elsewhere. Dakota Rustproofing may provide a fantastic service, stopping rust in its tracks; but you have to show up and put the work in. You have to provide customer service. You have to do more than just be a small business to earn my patronage. At no time did he apologize for wasting my morning. He did not leave me a voicemail asking to reschedule or again, apologize for wasting my morning. He didnt even call when he knew he would not be able to keep our appointment. Instead he called at 11:35; 35 minutes after our scheduled appointment. If you have nothing but time on your hands and dont mind wasting it, they may be a good spot for you to bring your vehicle to get rustproofed. But if you are busy, would like to be treated like your loyalty and good recommendation matters, you may want to look elsewhere.
