My husband and I live in Georgia. We were on the 2nd day of our cross-country road trip on Sunday, September 27 when our car malfunctioned and rolled to a stop on I-29 about 40 miles south of Sioux Falls.I found the phone number for your AutoZone store, and my call was answered by the manager, Carl. I failed to get his last name, but I must say he was the answer to our prayers. He was so kind and reassuring on the phone. We were able to drive it to the store, and Carl checked for and printed out the code we needed. We did have to go to the Ford dealership the next morning, but we were back on the road by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28.I will always be grateful and thank God that Carl answered my call that Sunday afternoon. He should be commended for his excellent customer service.

Last night around 7, my boyfriend and I stopped in to purchase a low beam headlight bulb for my car. We weren’t sure what bulb we needed so we asked one of the employees if they could find the one I needed for my car. The employee asked me what kind of lightbulb it is, since the lightbulb was in my car still I couldn’t show him and the last time I changed the headlight I was never asked this question. He seemed annoyed and was being rude since I didn’t know. The guy said he would have to look at my car. Which we thought was odd for just a lightbulb. We went outside and then he awkwardly said to pop the hood to look and I told him you can’t get to the headlight from under the hood, the access for changing the bulb is in the wheel well, he sarcastically said we can’t do that and told us he can’t help us. As we were leaving the other employee was watching us out the window as if we were going to do anything for them being rude to us. We drove across the street to another auto part store and they were super helpful didn’t ask me any of the strange questions the other guy did and I was able to get what I needed in 5 mins. We are never going back to Autozone again!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a scan for the check engine light and he also helped finding and replacing a fuse. Very grateful to have a place that is friendly and can help with things like this since I dont have any family here.

I went in looking for a simple fuse and asked the store manager named George and his response was “well if we have it’ll be in that first aisle”. My brother sarcastically replied “great customer service” and George came over to try to help us after we didn’t need him anymore. Never coming back to this autozone.

My daughter and wife were driving to Montana and to every fathers nightmare the check engine light came on. Luckily for them and me auto zone was close to where they were staying. Jeff Edwards at auto zone checked out the car and reset the code. Thank you auto zone and Jeff from preventing dad from having a nervous break down. In this day it is rare to see people and companies go out of their way like this.

Customer service representatives need to be more knowledgeable

Came to Autozone for a new battery. After calling 5 other places to compare, Autozone had the cheapest one. I paid for the battery, it was installed in under ten minutes, and I was out of there. Very quick and friendly service. I was super impressed and happy!

The prices are very competitive but as with all things you get what you pay for. The employee who helped me was not very knowledgeable. I had the wrong parts (not his fault but mine) and when I returned them and had him look up the right ones he told me I had the right ones multiple times when I could see the screen and the numbers were different. After pointing out to him that they were not the same he got me the right ones. When I called on the phone before coming to make sure they had the right parts the person was kind of rude. Its possible he was having a bad day it happens to us all. I will definitely go back but verify my parts match.

Only one person at the counter on a Saturday? He would keep answering the phone instead of having them hold while he helps the customers in the store he would talk to the person on the phone for 10 minutes. I waited for 15 minutes and left. There was 2 other workers but who knows what they were doing. Nowhere to be found. I won’t be going back to autozone, it’s overpriced anyways.

I had a check engine light on and went to them to have it read for free. The guy who did it was helpful and was able to give me the information I needed. What I did not appreciate was when he saw my car and remarked, Well, the first mistake you made was buying a Hyundai. I can appreciate that everyone has their opinion on manufacturers, but please, keep it to yourself. There was absolutely no need to insult my choice of car.

Got a piece of glass in my hand during my first two minutes in the store. Picked up a sponge which was full of small glass shards, a dead leaf, and other debris. Grabbed a bottle of mechanics hand cleaner and as soon as I turned it around to give the item a closer look, water came pouring from the container. Glass all over the shelves and products. I know we had a tornado but come on. How long has it been since the storm!? If your store is hazardous to employees and especially the customers, close down for a day and grab a vacuum!

They are my car dudes. Helpful and this is a clean place. Fair prices. They will allow you to borrow tools. I replaced an alternator in the lot. Yay!

Great service!!!!!Went in to have my battery checked, ended up being a pulley bearings causing starter to drag, manager grabbed jumper cables from shelf and used his personal truck to charge/jump my vehicle.

Went in the store no one greeted then we go to stand up at the counter to pay for our items and get ignored as they just continue their conversation when they could have at least helped us while continuing their conversation. A black gentlemen and a young gal with Brunett hair. Terrible customer service!

Good store, good prices, but some of the service is mediocre, specifically the employee named George E. He acted very rude when helping me and acted snarky.

The employees are very professional and know what customer service is! This one location obviously has not forgotten about customer service. In fact, I met the manager and he actually engraves this into each of his staff. You would think that being an auto parts store that you can get any OEM part there is, unfortunately that is not true. But, I found out that no auto parts store carries this part as well. Anyway, I highly recommend this location for Customer service and honesty.

Always very knoweldgable staff. Today I needed 2 radiator hoses for 90 crown Vic. Advance auto, down the street could have ordered them and had them Tuesday. Autozone had both in store. I shop for allot of parts, auto zone always seems to be the best for service and supply.

Used to be a competively priced with top notch C.S. but, now highest proceed in town & pretty much everything else sucks. Point blank period....I left my rewards card on the counter!

Sold me a ratchet and spark socket that do not work with each other. Couldnt tell me what spark plug goes with my snowblower. But did offer advice to how to get my snowblower running. Not happy a out the socket and wrench not being compatible. I will not be going back.

My AutoZone battery, bought in Arizona, needed warranty replacement. AutoZones computer system couldnt find me and had my phone number associated with someone else, despite me buying with them for 15 years with the same phone number. After a half hour, and a call to AZ, hey replaced the battery...but did nothing to fix my account, and gave me no receipt for the replacement. This will be repeated again.
