Books, magazines.. paperback, DVDs, an more.. a little bit if everything for anyone who loves to read. Great kid section. variety of reading for ur mind. An can have a light snack or drink.. help desk if u need it. Otherwise u can just browse an get lost.. clean quiet. Great customer service.

Its not what it used to b. They really do not understand we can order on line most anything today. That said if I am going into a store it is because I want it now. I do not want them to order it 4 me and send it to me. So I went home order it on prime recived next day free delivery. That said I have not been in BN In over few years as I support local own business when can. I just happened to b right their and gave them a try again. Very sad

Im always in awe of Barnes and Noble, like I am of libraries. I used to feel intimidated when shopping there, but the employees are so friendly, and so helpful. Im still in awe, but now its awe of all the fascinating treasures that are within those walls. Its so much more than a book store, its a magical experience. Even if i dont make a purchase (Im sure they would rather that I did), I always feel enriched by my visit.I cant sing their praises highly enough!

These guys (as a corporation) really need to up their software game... I asked for something that is currently difficult to get from the publisher, and said I would be willing to wait. Well I waited 2 weeks with no notification then stopped in to see if there was any update. One of the 2 items I ordered was in stock on the shelf. So I grabbed it and went to the desk. I asked about the other item first and was told that it was canceled because it took too long to arrive. Then I brought up the copy I was holding in my hand and asked why I wasnt notified of it. Same reason... so I asked why I wasnt notified of the cancelation so I could take advantage of other opportunities. I was told they were too understaffed to handle notifying everyone when an order got canceled... stop and think about that. They have a software platform that they entered my information into and they require staff... to make notifications of an order cancelation. From a connected database ordering system... are you guys in the late 80s when email wasnt really a thing people had... oh wait you took down my email so that cant be the case. Are whomever does your programming for in house systems incompetent? Sounds like you need to replace that staff then you wouldnt need your front line staff to handle unhappy customers when the order being canceled isnt even your fault. Keep that in mind Im not mad that the order got canceled. Im just frustrated that your system is so archaic you rely on over worked (and probably under paid) staff to handle what a computer could do for them...

Wasnt crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. Beautiful books,practical books,religious books, fun books,books and bookish crafts and a really nice collection of baby,toddler and teenager to adult science toys,puzzles and writing/art gifts.

Great, clean store with excellent selection. Cant wait to go back for more

Love how clean the place is kept, including the bathroom. The customer service representative are wonderful✨😍, is a great place sit and have a nice snack at the restaurant in the store and they serve wonderful food.

The staff is excellent here from front to back. Enjoyed my espresso soy iced drink. I had a new employee being trained and she did a excellent job. I also bought a new book called Where are they buried? By Tod Benoit.

Picked up some vinyls and, of course, a few books...the book keepper, Chris, was on his game....nice job Brah; amazing store...I mean its Sioux Falls... I didnt expect anything less.Unless you go to....for service.

Still the best Brick and Mortar place to hang out and browse for books, magazines, journals, travel guides and maps. In addition, there is a lovely coffee shop inside.

I dont get there ENOUGH to say much but when I get there I find tons of things to get, love puzzles and HISTORY and they have ENOUGH t ok break me. Spend some time there youll find something that will trip your trigger!

Just awful. I asked for a book lookup and got a super big pressure sales run around. Instead of buying two magazines I got fed up and left. Brick and mortar is dead. Never going into a b&n again.

Great place to shop and just hang out the employees are super nice and helpful.

They have tons of genres to choose from. The only thing is I wish theyd bring back seating that is away from the Starbucks Cafe because its kind of noisy to try and study near all the ruckus.

Music is loud sometimes and outlets are very few and far between, but a great atmosphere to sit down and get some work done, have some coffee, and pick from a great selection of books.

Great experience like always!The store is spacious and open. It is clean and well lit. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Best of all, they have a coffee shop and places everywhere to sit and read with minimal disturbance.

We liked that we were able to enjoy a drink at the Starbucks inside B&N and then explore the book- and gameshelves. Great place to relax!

I got a snobby vibe from the staff at this Barnes n Noble. Felt like they were judgmental and prejudiced. But they had the book I needed so paid for my purchase and got out of there.

B&N has very little in the way of a metaphysical section.

This is a great location everytime I stop by. Always impressed by their selection of books, puzzles, or games, I can usually always find what I am looking for - or else a staff member is willing to get it on order. Cozy atmosphere as well. If I were to pick one thing they could improve upon, I would suggest that employees working the floor be a tad bit more aware of customers/customer needs. Though I have nothing bad to really say about this location. It is a more than adequate facility, and definitely has friendly staff.

Im giving it 3 stars because the customer service was really good. It lost 2 stars bc it was dirty. Mostly the bathroom, it was nasty. I felt like I was it walmart....... except they keep it cleaner

Always understaffed. Long waits at checkout. Staff are friendly and helpful but just not enough of them. And for some strange reason they feel the need to frequently move sections around the store causing confusion. Maybe the manager once worked in the fruit and vegetable department in a supermarket where they also do that.

I went to pick up Thomas Sowells book Discrimination and Disparities. They tracked it down in store and were a big help.

Still requires masks but was not bothered for not wearing one.

Always a pleasure visiting this place. Books are a bit overpriced as usual, but sure is a great place for book lovers. Has starbucks and places to sit down and read.

Well lets face it if they dont have the book you want they will get it and plus the whole bookstore is set up great and you can relax and injoy coffee and a read or 2.

As always a great bookstore. Has reconfigured the store for COVID safety and that has been fantastic. I do wish they would minimize the toy section... Its a bookstore not a toy store.

I will always love this place but every now and then some issues with checkout lines.

I was treated very rudely and told to shop fast and leave the store because I have a medical condition that precludes me from wearing a mask. The manage gave me a weak so sorry its our corporate policy and was not interested in getting any information about the aggressive and intimidating employee. Stay away from this corporation. Its a nasty heartless place.

I mean...its Barnes and Noble. Its amazing. Not sure what else to say... it is clean and the people have always been helpful. Also has a Starbucks that has a couple gluten free packaged goodies.

Everybody who Ive seen working here in the several years Ive been shopping here was very nice. Theyre always friendly and ready to help you buy or find a book. Clean store, good selection, and I havent eaten there myself but Ive heard good things about the café.

I love shopping here, i could have used a shopping cart today because I found so much but it was a bit distasteful to overhear a couple of managers or shift leaders discussing employees, employees clothing choices and their attendance. Maybe this should be done in an office away from the customers.

Large selection. Nice atmosphere. I didnt care for the layout of the store, but Im finding that is happening more and more with all book stores. It seems like they are arranging things differently than Im used to from when I was young; however, I did like the kids section here.

Due to their revamp for the virus you cant find ANYTHING, including anyone to help you find what youre looking for. Which might be ironic considering theyve closed the customer service desk telling you to ask a bookseller for help when I was not able to locate one in a timely manner after literally searching the ENTIRE store!! I finally gave up, put down the item I had really wanted & left. Ill just buy my books through Amazon I guess.
