Super super friendly. First time bought some sports cards. I could have spent easily over an hour there. I feel like I got my dad who can afford anything and everything himself. I spent 20$ for some nostalgia and good memories we can share:) I hate buying gifts. Extremely happy and excited to show him these.

A TON of comic book back issues, which is always a joy for this long time reader looking to fill some gaps. Also appreciated their well-organized section of bagged up collected mini-series and story lines - great for those who enjoy comics in floppy format and for books that havent been collected into trade. Staff was friendly, too. I stopped by while traveling through town so only had a short time to dig in, wish I had more time to really dig in!

Nice variety of new & classic items of all kinds at this location.

Service is not a strong point here. One employee(older man with longer hair) openly mocking a customer for questioning a price that they had clearly marked but rang up differently on the computer. They have a nice selection of cards and comics but I will not be steeping foot back inside the establishment. There are more negative interactions with employees than positive.

First time going to a comic book store, they were very friendly and accommodating.

Would not recommend. I’ve come to this place several different times and each time the workers are extremely rude for no reason. Constantly giving out the impression they want you to leave. I never leave reviews but I’m just taken back by the awful customer service they have to offer.

Employees are always so Knowledgeable and helpful.

My favorite comic book shop in the world. I buy trades primarily and they have a great selection on the shelf for a guy who isnt entirely sure what hes after.

Everything you need for table top games, comics or action figures

This shop is by far the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They’ll cancel your order because they don’t want to sell it to you for the price they decided to list it for on their website. I’ve had multiple orders canceled from them and every time they accuse me of being a reseller. Just because you can’t price your products correctly and I find your website from a quick google search and purchase what you have to sell does not make me a reseller. Some people actually still collect cards...it’s sad that a business would go so far as to lie about why they cancel your order just because they don’t want to honor their prices. I would stay far away from this card shop.

Asked the younger guy if they had Pokemon cards, he wouldnt even look up from his MTG pile to say that people always come in asking about them and they dont have any. Older guy asked if I needed help and I told him the same thing, he picks up a Shining Fates ETB from under the younger guys feet. This is why people buy everything online these days.

I really do want to support small, locally owned businesses, but do not buy Pokémon Cards here.Everything is so overpriced. A single booster pack is $6, when at Walmart theyre $5. And at Target, theyre $4.19.The Shining Gates Elite Trainer box is going for $120, but at Walmart theyre $49.98, and at other local retailers theyre $80-$100 max.

I was really disappointed by the selection today..was looking to start reading something new...literally not one copy of the first issue of anything I picked up and I was pretty open to what I was gonna pick...eventually just left with nothing after looking for 45 min. The entire new comics wall was empty as well. Not sure Ill go back as I found everything I needed online for much less than the price at the store .

Don’t expect to ever be able to buy something on their website. Every time I have tried to purchase a book on their website they cancel my order because the book is worth more than what they had it listed for sale at.

I have been going to Rainbow for many years and always get great service. They often assist in finding comics for me, or looking up issues with my favorite artists. On top of that, the selection is amazing. Im a fan of the bronze age and never have a problem finding stuff I want and need, and prices are fair. Ive been to a dozen or more comic stores thru the years and I rank Rainbow #1!

Been going to Rainbow for years, at times literally just to see what they have. The staff is amazing and the merch they carry is nothing short of omg. I have never had a bad experience here in the 20+ years Ive known of them. Also, my wife whom is part of a non-profit helping abused, neglected children was looking for donations for a silent auction recently. I recommend her trying to talk to somebody at Rainbow, they donated without hesitation. Great place, great service..also Jon is an amazing intelligent individual and if you ever have any questions and hes working...ask him. Thanks for everything you guys do Rainbow staff.

This place has hopped on the overprice train. Booster packs of certain expansions more the. Double the price and trainer elite boxes double the MSRP as well. I’m assuming they are getting champions path boxes of some sort and taking them out and trying to sell them for 9$ per booster pack. Highly suggest not doing business with them. If they don’t care how they treat there consumers when it comes to those who can only afford MSRP then why should we care about them.

For a comic shop in a small city, its amazingly well stocked with comic back issues and Star Wars memorabilia .

It was fun, they had a lot of dnd stuff, an entire wall and a half of comic books, downside they were not very friendly or talkative but it was a Monday.

This place is basily scalpers they up evrything to insane prices and say they are a card shop I recommend a real card shop like dragons den

The boys who run the shop are super sweet and very helpful. The store itself is very organized, but can be a little overwhelming if you dont know where to start, but they come in and point you in the right direction. The shear volume of items they packed into the store is incredible, and any comic or card lover could spend hours here.Update: I had come in a few weeks ago asking if they had a specific comic coming in, which they didnt, and thats fine. Cut to today(1/17/18), they came up to me with the comic I had asked about! They special ordered it for me to my surprise! Im so excited they got it, it gave me a complete 180 on my terrible day!

I live in Minot ND, so getting here is few and far between, but when Im in the neighborhood, I always drop by.Im a life long comic guy, and this store is awesome. Always something cool and rare. Rainbow has all the new stuff, and great selection of old. Im always looking for silver age Marvel comics and Rainbow does not disappoint.One tip, make a list of what your looking for, it helps me keep focused. If you are into old comics, there is a lot to look at.If your debating, go check it out and support a nerd.

Great comic book shop that offers an array of nerd culture things. Unfortunately it seems that harder times are befalling this place and they arent getting as many products as they used too. BUT the staff is extremely nice and will help as much as they can. Please support your local stores.

Amazing amount of items! We spent so much time her just browsing. There was a great variety of new and vintage items. My husband was even able to sell them some of his unwanted items to get good store credit. The staff is very helpful. We will definitely stop back next time we are in town.

I have been a customer for over 14 years . Today I had a terrible experience at the store. The old man was rude, short and had an attitude of me as a customer being a incovience. I was asked to move it on and to get going after being in the store for 8 MINUTES. If you are concerns about COVID19 then dont be open. I will never return to this store. You can get everything cheaper on ebay anyway.They do not appreciate there customers and I am sure they will not miss my business of 14 years but I will be sure to tell all i know about my bad experience.

Driving cross country to help a friend move to Boston and my one stipulation is to stop at comic shops along the way. This place is awesome! Has a great variety of everything and their back issue selection is ridiculously large. I will definitely be stopping here on my next trip across the country.

Fantastic. Literally everything I could want, from new weekly issues to an enormous catalogue of back issues, accessories and collectibles. Friendly and knowledgable staff, and not overbearing in the slightest. I could browse for hours and always find something great.

They have wall to wall of everything you’d possibly want from a Comic Book store, they do special events from time to time and they have tons of comics to choose from, they have a good selection of bargain bin, back stock and weekly new comics books, supplies-o-plenty for taking care if your own comics, sports & hobby cards, toys and collectibles new and old The only downside is there’s too much choice!! ;)Would highly recommend and definitely be visiting in the future ...its about a two hour away for me and totally worth the drive​.

They have tons of comics and collectables to pick from. The guys are always super friendly as well. Picked up some comics for a $1 to see what my 7 year old might like. They have lots of miniatures and games as well.

I have a friend in a wheelchair who is a frequent customer and the staff are very accommodating to him as well as as all customers. They make shopping at their store a fun experience.The space could be slightly bigger.

I think the store could use a bit of rearranging but, other than that its decent sized, lots to choose from, they have good service, and if you cant find it they try to for you. Ended up getting my whole set of Big Hero 6 collection there with the special edition Baymax. Couldnt find them anywhere else, and here they were the whole time. If you like comics and cards definitely a place for you to come down to and browse through! Cant wait to get back there to start a new collection.

This place will never stop being awesome. I go every week to get my comic fix and I will not hesitate to sing its praises. The people who work there are knowleable and welcoming. The comics are organized well and easy to hunt down what you need. Will always highly recommend.

They have an amazing selection of comics, toys, action figures, collectibles, sports merchandise and lots of misc. things as well.The staff is helpful and they usually have someone around to answer your questions about any of the merchandise they have. They are also super friendly and will strike up conversations if the opportunity presents itself.Ive seen a few people comment that Rainbow is unwilling to haggle their selling prices, and I dont see this as an issue. They are, from my experience, a retail shop and should be treated as such. Considering that their prices are consistent with other brick and mortar stores, you shouldnt need to haggle anyway.I enjoy Rainbows atmosphere and friendly staff, and that alone will keep me going back.

Stopped in here to see their selection of board games but ended up buying comics instead. I was really impressed with the vast selection of comics and action figures. It was great seeing so many figures I had as a kid. The board game selection was minimal but still offered more variety than the actual board game store in town, haha. Staff was friendly and helped me find trade paperbacks of Saga.

Great Store in the Heart of Sioux Falls. The staff are Super Friendly always their to help and give you input on some great stuff to read. If comics arent your thing thats ok because they have all sorts of Collectors Toys, Baseball,Football and NBA cards. They have a ton of great board games as well

Acts as both store and community center, brings in guest speakers, supports local charities, and throws an amazing free comicbook day each year

Always fun to go here. The staff knows you by name, even going so far as suggest things you might like based on what your tastes are. Free Comic Book day here is always an great experience. Oh, and getting in on the box breaks for sportscards is exciting, too.

One of my favorite places to stop in in Sioux Falls. They can take care of the nerd in you and the sports fan. Huge selection of comic books and graphic novels. Tons of figures from superheroes and Star Wars to WWE wrestlers and baseball players. Movie and comic book collectibles everywhere! Board games (never got one there I didnt like) and they can help you find games could fit your liking. Massive selection of baseball, basketball, and football cards! Get a Topps full set from a specific year or get a rare player card. And always have rotating inventory so always something new to see!
