I tagged this establishment when planning our trip out west as we were staying overnight in Sioux Falls, and it had good reviews. We roast our own coffee so are picky about our espresso and coffee. La Luna did not disappoint. On point espresso and lattes. Did I mention the jungle jam toast? Peanut butter, banana heaven! Finally, super nice staff! Give them a visit!

I was visiting Sioux Falls and stopped by after Falls park. We loved steak and chicken bowls with fajita rice. Food was amazing and I cleaned my plate! Thank you!

I am honestly in love with this place! The space is so cute, they have art on the walls that was created by local artists, and they have live events like music or poetry slams pretty frequently. They have, without a doubt, the best coffee in town and the food is inspired! I love the alfajor pastry and the horchata latte! The owners are wonderfully kind people and their staff have always been so welcoming and professional! Not to mention how incredibly close they are to the Falls! I work at a hotel in the area and they are always one of my top recommendations and Ive never heard a bad thing! Love this place!

La Luna is one of our absolute favorite coffee shops in Sioux Falls! They are always offering unique and delicious items on their menu. We love that they support local artists and small businesses by opening up their space for them. The staff is very kind and willing to get creative to satisfy everyone who stops by. The atmosphere is bright and beautiful. Its a perfect place to study, work on a laptop, have coffee with a friend, or snap some cute photos. We definitely recommend this cafe to anyone!

Love stopping at La Luna for brunch downtown! Staff is always extremely friendly, atmosphere is very chill, and the waffles are delicious 🤩 I’ve heard great things about their tacos, too!

Latte was good but took over 25 minutes to get while there were only 5 small groups of people on the whole place. Also, my husband ordered a simple black coffee and it wasn’t given to us until after the latte. Still after 35 minutes we haven’t gotten our food. I’m sure it would be fine if you had plenty of time to wait.

A great little spot tucked away by the falls. Tried out the horchata latte and was hoping for it to be a little more flavor potent. The Capri avocado toast was great and flavorful. Great way to start the day. Interior had art available for sale and a fun vibe. Colors are a little intense and fighting to create a relaxing environment. Could also see this as a study space with the free WiFi.

Everything about this place is awesome, nice sunlight, good and fast brunch, and their la Luna latte was SO GOOD!

The BEST Latte in town. Creamy and delicious. Price is better than other places downtown and the quality of the ingredients is definitely there. The atmosphere is great as well, perfect for working or socializing. Seating is great as well, comfy options and larger tables for larger groups. Convenient parking compared to a lot of other places downtown. Location is also perfect for a quick trip to the falls or the farmers market after grabbing a coffee. The waffles are to die for and the Bacon Breakfast Sunrise Pizza is a winner as well. Really cannot go wrong supporting this local family and their business!

This is a very cute, downtown trendy Cafe with a welcome urban vibe. Reminds me of Minneapolis/St. Paul coffee shops where people bring their laptops to work for a few hours. Menu is limited but fresh and exciting! Coffee is strong and delicious.

I go to La Luna regularly.. I was there for 4 hours today!! It’s a beautiful coffee shop and the owners and staff are amazing! I went to school with El Salvador to USF, which is a Christian liberal school! And he is continuing his education for masters program in Divinity Studies!! So this place is full of people who respect God and people.. I love this place! 🙏🏾

The Best Latte Ive tried in the State.  Visited from Rapid City on Easter Day. The Café is located in front of the falls, lots of parking nearby and awesome atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff service is great. Saludos Salvador y familia. Gracias por el excelente servicio.

I love La Luna Cafe! They have delicious lattes and I especially love their avocado toast and Nutella waffles. I highly recommend you stop by. I even brought some family members to La Luna Cafe that don’t drink coffee and they really enjoyed the steamer that they got. Overall great atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff.

Amazing staff with great Products! A wonderful place to grab a bite to eat and a coffee with friends. The interior is beautiful and well kept in an amazing location in Down town Sioux Falls. On top of the great service and atmosphere the products stand for themselves in flavor and presentation.

One of my wife’s and my favorite local places to spend our Sunday brunch! Highly recommend their bacon sunrise breakfast pizza. It’s been cool to see this place survive their first year despite covid. This place will continue to grow in popularity! If you ever make another location, please consider southeastern Sioux Falls, there’s so many people there and so few establishments!

There is nothing else that can be said about La Luna Cafe that hasn’t already been said. The staff is amazing and with pure hearts. The drinks and food are made amazingly and the art displayed makes it a one of a kind place! I fully support La Luna!

Where do I begin? I have been coming to La Luna Cafe since they opened. This business is family-owned and community focused. The owners are incredible and really make an effort to get to know you. They always have beautiful artwork on the walls (and ceiling!) to showcase local artists, and have often been hosting live music, painting events, latte throw downs, and more events to bring the community together.The space is modern, spacious, and comfortable and the menu is extensive and unique. My favorite is the Dulce de Leche latte per Salvador’s recommendation and it’s always great to pick up a new pastry as well. This will be my first coffee stop upon returning to Sioux Falls! Thank you for everything you’ve done for the Sioux Falls community and the delicious drinks and pastries!

My friend and I came here twice, and both times were greeted with friendly service, amazing ambience, and delicious food. It’s impossible for me to never come here another day. I recommend this cafe to anyone, for sure!

La Luna is such a warm, welcoming space. This morning they made us a cake for our friends birthday on short notice while the cafe was BUSY! They consistently deliver wonderful food and coffee, and the service is unmatched. Thanks La Luna!!!

Outstanding atmosphere, amazing food/drink, and even more incredible staff! This place is always SO clean and spotless - Im there frequently, and you can tell the team works incredibly hard to keep the place sparkling.Their quesadillas are 10/10, and always have fresh sweets and baked goods on display. Try the waffles, try the avocado toast (green eggs and ham is my favorite!), try the pizza - its all top-notch.You wont find a friendlier café in all of Sioux Falls!

La Luna Cafe is nothing but an amazing place downtown Sioux Falls built with a lot of hard work by an amazing family from El Salvador that have a passion for people and God. Edith and Salvador have a heart for the community and serve with all their heart at their local church as well at their cafe. I have known this family for more than 10 years and personally know how much sacrifice they have put into their business. Along with two of their children I am an Alumni from USF and only have positive things to say about them.Experience something new at La Luna whether it’s their Frappuccino’s or their delicious Waffles!

I ordered a latte and an avocado, egg and bacon toast. The latte was ok-ish, the milk was burnt but the espresso roasting was good. The toast was gross. The bread itself was dry and heavy and smothered in cheese (which I wasn’t aware of according to the description). There was a huge amount of oily bacon and the tiniest amount of avocado. Was really looking forward to a decent amount of avocado and I probably got a teaspoon worth. The egg was good and cooked nicely.

The BEST!🙏❤ My favorite is their fajita bowl and both of their gluteen free pastry sweets. (Which is great having options, since I have celiac.) I really enjoy lattes, but think that next time I swing by...I may just have to try out their seasonal drinks menu. 🤤☕God says, whatever you put work of your hands to that it will prosper!

Today we brought in a large group of middle school students to La Luna and I cannot say enough good things about how positive our experience was. Every order was accurate, the drinks were incredibly refreshing, and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Also, the kindness of the staff cannot be overstated. Just beyond fantastic!!! Highly highly recommend!!!

Been coming here since the grand opening and have yet to be disappointed. They have plenty of options for any time of the day. Coffee, Tacos, Pizza, Waffles they got it. My recommendations here are their namesake La Luna Coffe, pull beef tacos, and thier banana Waffles. Added note you can order your coffee with non dairy options such soy, almond, or oat milk.

Over-the-top chicken quesadilla made with black beans and rice inside. Fresh tomatoes and sour cream heaped on the top of a perfectly toasted tortilla shell.

Great shop, service, and nice owners! Stopped by on a road trip. Across the street from a beautiful park and in a newer mixed use development that has some character. Learned that the owners are from El Salvador originally and started the shop in retirement. Cool art for sale, open and bright space.

Great cappuccino and very friendly. They really know how to pull shots of espresso. A very legit coffee shop.

I can’t think about anything I dislike about La luna, everything is incredibly good! Food is amazing (I can’t even decide what to recommend because I love everything!!) drinks are awesome (especially the Strawberry-Banana Frappe –the BEST I’ve ever had–). Pictured here is the steak quesadilla, the Nutella waffle & the Fajita chicken bowl.The quesadilla was steak pieces with black beans & cheese topped with sour cream & homemade pico. The Nutella waffle was infused with Nutella. Rich, but very good. The Chicken Fajita bowl was Jasmine rice with muti-colored peppers, onions & marinated fajita chicken with melted cheese. Very good!

What a great addition to Downtown Sioux Falls. Not only do they have amazing breakfasts, but the pizzas are AMAZING. Tonight tried the BBQ chicken. The crust was perfect, delicious smoked chicken, sauce - num! Plus its locally owned!

This colorful cafe has everything you need if you have a lot of studying/work to do --- coffee and espresso drinks, delicious and affordable food, comfy seating, free wifi, lots of outlets, clean bathrooms, and free parking nearby. Its also a great place to meet friends to chat or play board games, and the family who owns and runs the cafe is so warm and welcoming.

We were on vacation from Ohio and looking for something local to try for breakfast. We loved everything about this place. The waffles were amazing and the presentation of the food was nothing short of beautiful. We had to take pictures before we could even eat it. The light coming in from the wall of windows was lovely as well. Would definitely come back if we are in the area.

They didnt have any decaf options. at all. then they suggested i get a steamer, and when i asked what it was the girl looked exasperated and asked another barista to explain for her. it turns out, they were giving me warm milk.they got one of our four drinks out, and five minutes later came to ask what size one of the other drinks were (whatever you charged us for, dude?) and then took another ten minutes making them. the first drink was gone by then. and they brought a warm drink instead of the iced we had ordered and took more time fixing it.my daughter had ordered chocolate milk, and they brought us a glass of milk with chocolate powder still floating in it. they were nice enough to give us a spoon and tell us we probably need to stir constantly.interior was alright. but to quote my coworker, it looked like they got everything from target.
