Great staffing in the grocery, pharmacy, deli, as well as tire center. Never had an issue with staff or cleanliness of the store, always one of my favorite errands to run as even my son loves to look around the place.
I called to see if they had a product and was told they did, but I couldnt find it. I asked for the manager because it didnt look like they had it. He went in back and found it. Im not only happy, but impressed too. His name was Ryan. Thanks!
Just signed up again as its been since 2015, great store as it was before, set up was easy...was going to buy a car battery as I was leaving, 4 associates at customer not assisting anyone and they told me I had to wait in the line at automotive to purchase a car battery. Ridiculous! This membership will expire and I will continue to go to SAMS
Went there for my 1st time a couple days ago and I fell in love. So many great deals and perks!
Costco is always a predictable experience. It would be great if they added a 10 item or less lane. The self check lanes help move smaller purchases through too.
Costco is awesome. The prices are great. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Great location. Nice large store, well stocked, clean. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking, and room for a truck/ trailer to navigate. Only request would be to have diesel fuel available.
Costco is awesome love the rotisserie chickens. Miss the turkey and provolone cheese sandwich though
A huge warehouse store that is a members only club with paid memberships. Some of the items were a really good deal but other you have to watch the price. The quality was usually good but a few items were going bad so you need to make sure to look. Still bought a large cart full. Just remember to bring boxes or something to put everything in.
Costco is always fun place to shop! Look for the sales and did you know the Chicken is even better when you stick on the grill for 20 min more with your favorite sauce!
First day going on and getting a gold membership and wow besides the wonderful ladies helping me take my picture, 2 employees were clueless and extremely rude.you pay a membership fee and absolutely no free WiFi like Walmart offers. Yelled at in the parking lot because I put the cart in the wrong spot which it was my first time but learn some customer service or get another job.
Friendly service in the Dakotas no masking required no proof of vaccinations now lets buy some property and call it home!!
Today was an embarrassing day but Brian, a manager at the Sioux Falls Costco, went above and beyond in helping me through it!I was shopping and grabbed a watermelon, the next thing I know, it’s exploded all over me and everything within about five feet. Apparently, when I placed it in the cart, it hit the cart and exploded. As people walked by, enjoying the mess I had made, there was Brian - who helped me earlier, and I said, help! He called for assistance on his phone, told me to wait there and ran and got paper towels, and a wet rag, so I could clean myself off. The next thing I know, there was someone cleaning up the mess, and a new cart was delivered to me. Brian asked if I needed anything, and I asked where I might find sandals, as mine were soaked in watermelon. He took me to them, then told me the store would cover the cost!Brian, I can’t thank you enough for all your help today! You’re the best, and it’s people like you that make shopping at Costco a pleasure, even on an embarrassing day! With great appreciation-Ann Horton
I greatly appreciate the mask mandate. It is smart policy that protects the public health.
Update: we have been coming here for a few months now and we enjoy it. The prices are comparable to Sams and they both have their perks. We like to bounce between instant savings times too. We plan to keep both memberships because we like things at both. We have been trying some new stuff they have here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is always stocked up. Today, I asked to use the air hose at the shop to air up my ties and to a nice surprise found out they have 2 self serve stations in the parking lot. The store is clean. Only complaint is it can kind of be a pain to get in and out of the parking lot especially when the gas station is full and the lines are pushing into one of the entrances. The guys and gals that check the receipts when we leave really make my kids days when they draw smiley faces on the receipts too! we just got our membership today . Costco had a computer we needed . we cant wait to check it out and compare Sams to them . we wish some one would move a store to the Brookings area. were 82 miles one way to Costco, so thats our Achilles Tendon. theres 7 of us so we always try to get bulk when we can . You cant beat a 2 year warr for no charge on the computers . stay safe and God Bless
Good place to shop for essentials and friendly staff. Enough supplies even during pandemic. Should implement mask 😷 policy both ways as many a times associates could be seen walking around without one (attached photo is an example). Otherwise, it’s a good place. Being member during pandemic helped, never ran out of essentials and never had to panic. Excellent management in this high time. Member facilitation is exemplary, the best compared to others.
Really enjoy stocking up on our essentials and food staples.
Stinks that membership is required to shop here but the cake we ordered was great.
Jake in the tire center was fully kind and helpful. He is an asset to Costco. He made my experience there the best! Travelling through the area from Wisconsin and pleased with this wonderful shopping experience.
Got some birthday cakes. They are so delicious
Its alright just some things were not there but its probably due to shortages of truckers
Its similar to Sams Club. I dont find it necessary to be a member to both
The tire service department is horrible. The personal is rude, they created long waiting line and nobody from associates helped on that
Used to be my favorite place to shop but I came to the gas station before they were even closed and there were padlocks on every single pump. I drove all the way here on E needing to put gas in meanwhile six of us are sitting at the pump unable to actually put gas in after using our membership card and swiping our debit cards. What is the point of the gas station being open until 8:00 if you cant put any gas in? Also what is the point of accepting only visa and cash? I have 37 debit cards between all my Banks savings accounts and credit cards and only one of them is Visa which happens to be one thats my emergency use only so I always have to go in and get a cash card from Costco. It just doesnt make any sense. Theres a reason MasterCard is the number one card in America.. and the world. Why not allow anyone to use it? The fee is barely any larger than a Visa card for a business
Love this store. Been saving me money since January! Recently broke my ankle so I had to crutch pretty far just to get to the ecarts and was regretting the process of returning the ecart after I was done when Riley came through clutch and helped me out. Very courteous.
Too busy!We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was packed. I guess that is to be expected though.I wasnt too impressed with the prices and the regular prices at local grocery stores and Walmart stores seem to be better than at least 50% of the regular items. Most of the costco specific items seemed to be of quality and a good price though.
I love this place I love the prices the lines can be long sometimes and the checkers dont really like to get you boxes unless you ask for them. sometimes the Checkers are nice and sometimes theyre kind of not but I still like this place
Very helpful staff at checkouts especially!
This place seems to be crazy town 24/7 and the parking lot makes me want to start screaming at people sometimes, BUT, it really is a great place to shop for groceries. Clean, well stocked, and the long lines move fast. Love their meat and frozen food section. Egg and butter prices are almost always the best in town. Great deals on most food items, paper products, cleaning supplies, pet supplies, health and beauty. Havent shopped for much else there, to be honest, but their electronics and furniture seem a little pricey.
Great place to shop, but hard to control your spending. A lot of great stuff!!
Costco is literally my happy place. Their Kirkland brand items are FANTASTIC (seriously, try the off brand Crown Royal and Grey Goose, thank me later), we always find crazy deals on great quality clothing, prescriptions are cheaper, and you can buy everything in bulk. I would give them extra credit for their pizza if I could.
While majority of staff was very helpful. We encountered at least once staff that was extremely un helpful in the sense that he didnt know about product availability and didnt care to look inspite of informing him that when we called Costco earlier on telephone we were told that the said product was available and in store. We solved the dilemma by asking another staff and were promptly helped to find the product and assisted in every way and in loading the product in our vehicle as well.
Gas station is not too busy. Staff are always good and this location is consistent with the Costco brand for product selection, merchandising and everything you expect.
I love the products and quality of the products here. I’m leaving a one star review because of the whole mask issue- I have no problem wearing one .. however if you are going to make a scene about my 4 year old not wearing a mask I find this business a bit ridiculous-
Costco is amazing! Friendly associates speedy check out and so many fabulous products!
This review is specific to Costco tire services we received today 3/2/21 around noon. I have been going there for tire services for many years. I have bought 12 tires there. I take each car in twice a year to switch between regular and winter tires. I went in to change from winter to regular tires today because the weather is in the 50s going on to the 60s. It took 1 1/2 hours. Rob Fitzpatrick reprimanded me for coming in for tire change “prematurely.” His tone suggested that he was upset with my decision. Then he told me that a TPMS battery was low and a warning light might go off tomorrow or, in a year. He checked my car out. When I got home I noticed an obvious leaking sound on a tire so I drove back to Costco. John McGaugh confirmed that a tire nozzle was loose and leaking. (No leakage prior to tire change.) John fixed it. I have received services from John and other staff (among them Henry Goodman I think) many times and never had any problems. I conclude that Rob is NOT professional while John is. How could Rob check out a car with obviously loose and leaking tire nozzle? I might not go back to Costco next winter unless I can specify which mechanic I do or don’t want work on my car. I have noticed Michelin medals or awards displayed on the wall. Please award John. He is the competent one, not Rob.UPDATE on 3/3/21: Went in for 25-mile safety check today. Rob offered an explanation and an apology for the event yesterday. He provided a good service today. I appreciate that Costco and Rob took notice of my feedback and took action to improve our relationship. Therefore, I am adding 2 stars to the 1 star I originally gave.
Its costco. Now pushing self check out ok if you have a couple items ...but come on its costco how many times do you only have a few items...really
Saturday daytime and not crowded. Nice store.
Always excellent experience.Great products, friendly service and very well managed.
Customers service was excellent and check out was efficient.
Love Costco always has interesting stuff
It was alright they did not have a lot of stuff I was looking for
We love Costco! Their produce section is wonderful and affordable. We buy a lot of bulk food items as well. Most of all, we love supporting a great company that pays its employees well.
Found what I need at a good price
Costco tire center did timely rotation of tires ...best to call first for appt. Their food court had all items, not like most with hotdogs and pizza only....still had to eat outside store.
Went in primarily to get water and sports drinks! We were in and out of the store in about 15 to 20 minutes. Everyone was very courteous and pleasant !
Bought new TV, young kid help was excellent and the prices at Costco 👍
Great selection, good prices, friendly and helpful staff. The checkout was speedy and efficient.
Sioux Falls Costco is clean, but very busy. Parking lot folks are rude as ever. But that is every Costco Ive ever been to.
Excellent especially. Tyler
Big thank you to this Costco! Chicken was cooked well done!
Always the best place to get gas.
Customer service personnel were very helpful with my questions. We buy our gasoline from Costco. Their gas prices are often $ .30 lower than anywhere else.
Love costco. As always...compare prices.
Always good food and wine. Fast check-out.
Im disappointed that Costco has followed the trend in opening self-serve checkouts. We need to support jobs for humans, not machines.
Lost my card, they gave me a new one.
I love that they only hire Rockstars for staff. Come prepared with a list. If your browsing be prepared to spend an extra $100 bucks, you will find crazy deals you just got to have.
Deserves 0 stars.Creating there own mandates to push political agenda does nothing for our country. Please leave.
Efficiency at its finest. Costs are fair for products bought.Fuel, especially Premium is, and the at a minimum 10/20% lower than any fuel station around
Perfect store for anything that you need, as long as it’s over 40+ of that item.
It just has to be careful everything we were there and we dont have a list oh my God we take two cars full
Usually very busy but a great place to shop. The employees are super friendly and the deals are great!
Don’t respect the members; only care about the membership. I had some issues with the transaction, and the floor manager style was terrible. He acts like he is superior and didn’t care about my concern.
Best time to go is mid-afternoon early in the week. In and out in less than an hour.
Always a great experience. Friendly employees always helping out. Great prices on the things we need and want. Way better than Sams for what I consider to be family needs versus commercial needs.
Will never go back after the way employees treated me for not wearing a mask. I dropped my membership and will shop at Sams. Thats the beauty of capitalism. I have a choice.
I love having a costco membership. From the gas to the cheap cooked chicken. I prefer costco over Samsclub. I also bought my TV here and the assurance that i can bring it in even without the box for a replacement if it quits working. Dont forget about the great deals on tires, oil, and even vehicles.
Large crowd on Sunday all with masks check out moved quickly.
SamE good Costco products but parking lot and traffic a mess. Not laid ou5 well.
Nightmare. All of this stuff and no signs on the aisles to help find things? And good luck asking staff for help.Additionally, what is it that makes people forget manners and common decency when they enter this store? My cart was straight up run into at least a dozen times in my 10 minute visit. People straight hustle in front of you because clearly there wont be any of those 600 boxes of 75 waffles left if they have to wait a whole 5 seconds for someone to pass by.Theres no amount of savings worth walking in the doors. Id rate it 0 if I could.
Costco in Sioux Falls is wonderful, as the staff is always very helpful and courteous!
My mom always makes me go there and somewhat of the stuff is cool
Love Costco no matter what state Im in!
Nice well stocked n clean
Florida Costco great, not a liquor problems with any store to love the one its Sioux falls like dealing with a company that gives you a great deal and bang for your buck
We recently moved from Phoenix to Sioux Falls. In the 2 months we have been here we have been to Costco 3 times. Each time an employee has been very rude and disrespectful. The cashiers are beyond rude and it really makes the experience of spending 100’s of dollars in one trip gut wrenching. Midwest nice must not apply to Costco employees. However, the store itself is very clean and well organized. They also are A very well stocked store.
It was busy but they worked fast to keep the lines moving at checkout
Great staff and selection
Pretty good about what youd expect
They had good service and good shopping area too!
I am a new customer and love it but feel Ill have to make a choice between Sams Club or Costco?
Im not a member, I was there with a friend that is a member. Sorry, Ill never be a member until they accept Discover card.
I love the selection at Costco. I love shopping there. With that said, I know you “require” shoppers to wear masks which I greatly appreciate. I questioned administrative staff why when I was shopping in Sioux Falls did I see a woman with a baby and she had no mask on in the store. I was told they try to enforce it best they can but they can’t refuse people. Why not? To me, once you show this weakness, a lot more people will take advantage of it. You are one of the only companies holding strong and doing the right thing. Don’t cave now! I should have the right to shop safely just as they do. If they choose to be unsafe, they should not be permitted in the store.
Love the products available at Costco!
Always a good selection. Even though it was busy, check out was quick.
This is the best place to shop in Sioux Falls! The $60 alone for membership is worth it because theyll graciously pump my gas for me... it was $1.92 today here and $2.14 at Holiday. Plus Im supposed to get 4% more off with the credit I signed up for. After I was mistreated today at Sams Ill never ever shop there again!
Ruby was incredible rude at checkout ... extremely unpleasant
Always love Costco.
Found stuff I couldnt find at Walmart, very handy !
Great produce and meat. Plenty of organic and healthy items.
Friendly staff, fast service, good deals. Trifecta!
Way better to get items in bulk here then anywhere else. Prices are great for the quantity and quality.
Maybe need another location, weekends are so so busy and ridiculous
Employees are always welcoming! Such good choices.
