First transaction went smooth and set up my trust went good. When I purchased my second suppressor they sent me finger print cards. I called and they said i didn’t need to fill them out as I already had a trust set up. A couple months later they sent the cards again and said i had to fill them out. I called and they said they had lost my finger prints from my first purchase and my file had been “compromised”. I purchased my second suppressor at the end of November and my form 4 was not submitted until the middle of February. Least to say that was very frustrating and will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I made the mistake of ordering a suppressor through them. The part that they call it a silencer had me weary but I didnt listen to my gut...* They try to start the order online then tell you you have to call in. --If you can provide support online, dont have online support* When ever Ive contacted them asking for updates they have no clue so they start sending you to different departments. -- Online support: Well you should contact, support. Support: Well you should contact sales. Sales: Well you should contact Support* They are unfamiliar with their own website -- I had to send them urls and screenshots to their status page and they still couldnt explain what was going on.* They advertise physical locations that do not exists. - I wanted to drop my gun off to get it threaded and when I looked up the physical address in KS, they didnt actually have a presence there. When I asked support what the deal was, Oh yeah, we just have to claim a location so we can sell in that area --Then dont put it as a physical location.

Very helpful team. They completed all the paperwork in the 10 mins I was there. Will be buying another one from them in the future.

I had to upgrade the review here as once I realized what a pain in the neck the Gov. clearance is- I began to appreciate how easy they make it. So ok. This is the way to do it. You’re looking at a year for that approval as the federal government is very busy doing everything else other than approve class 3 anything. So . High quality. As easy as possible… stainless is the way to go to not weld your baffles together. So this is the place.

They are an amazing crew and continually keep you updated!! Of course, when dealing with them you are also dealing with the ATF. The turn around on my suppressor was approximately 13 months. This is not their fault, just a bunch of red tape!! I contacted Silencer Central based upon an ad that I saw in American Rifleman. I was very impressed and pleased with my initial contact and the initial basic steps necessary for the process. Now, almost six months have gone by and I thought I would contact SilencerCentral just to check on the status of things. I was well aware of the fact that it would take a long time. However, what really upset me was when I was talking to the rep, he said that the paperwork did not go in until May. I told him that I thought we had everything completed in March. His response was what really disappointed in the company. He advised me that they were very busy and had a lot of applications being processed and it took a while to get to them. Had I known that SilencerCentral was going to sit on a completed application package for over a month because “they were to busy to get to it” I can assure you I would have gone elsewhere. It’s bad enough that the government takes forever, but there is no excuse for a company like SilencerCentral to add to the delay due to their own management of the volume of their business. Check this issue out before you commit to going through the lengthy process with a company selling silencers.

So far my experience has been okay at best. Im certainly willing to adjust my review in the future pending the outcome of the rest of the experience. Once the deal was done things got a lot more confusing. I have no paperwork with any specifics about my purchase despite numerous request. Every phone call has been unsuccessful and has to be handled with return phone calls days later. The payment I was told is not the payment Im making and the best guess I was given is taxes. When the math is done something is off. Its not a huge difference but it is a difference. The original sales person was very upfront about a few of the can manufacturers futures not being very bright and suggested the Banish. The companys brand of course. I cant understand why they carry cans that wont be around long but whatever, the banish fits my needs all the same. I dont know where I am in the process or anything else. The buying process is possibly simplified but thats as far as that goes as of right now. Customer support does lack with this company and when this deal is complete I cant say if I will use them in the future or not. Do yourself a favor and dont purchase over the phone because you have no paperwork and it seems like only the person who took your order can help you. I guess the computer systems dont sync.

I ordered a suppressor in February. Six months later I get a call saying they had been trying to contact me (I have not missed any emails and there wereno voice mails left) because there was a glitch that did not include my tax stamp. I still owe $206.00 and it will take another 9 months to get my suppressor.

I was losing my hearing from frequent use of various firearms and either had to quit or get a silencer. I use hearing protection but after 40 years the percussion waves go through your head enough todo some damage. Well? The ATF is detailed and exacting to get the stamp and I didn’t really want to research all that. They send you the stuff, help you through it, tell you what and when to do it all while you pay for your silencer. It’s a 9-12 month process. So, I would start now in case another Democrat gets in office. And while you’re at it, may want to send aLittle money to the GOAand NRA. I don’t have mine yet, but my friends my age have them. I’m very jealous, sound doesn’t transfer well on video - but is sounds likeA stapler to me.

For what one would assume to be a pretty complicated process, they manage to make you feel like its a piece of cake. I ordered online and went after a Black Friday deal (impulsively). Website makes it all too simple. They can mail you a packet, but I stopped in the store. Their fingerprint scanner is pretty slick, makes for a quick process. Sign a couple of dotted lines, and youre on your way. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. Nice to get a feel for the products they offer, ask any questions you have. Recommend stopping in store sometime if you have a chance!Love the t-shirt! Pretty cool graphic on the back.

Excellent on initial purchase but delivery has been two months delayed. Customer service attempted to justify the delay with inaccurate regulation references, then USPS ineptitudes and finally COVID-19 issues. Buyer Beware! I bought my silencer from them last June, 2020 and all my Govt paperwork was submitted to ATF last July, 2020. I have called Silencer Central several times this year (2021) to see what the progress is and they have said there was no approval yet for me. But, today (April 21, 2021), I called and their representative decided to call into ATF to check and she found out I was approved last December, 2020 - So, Silencer Central did not stay on top of the progress of my paperwork which added 4 unnecessary months to my wait. And now there could be another 6 to 12 week delay for me to get a replacement tax stamp and receive my silencer. Their excuse is that they have been going through Growing Pains and have had to hire a lot of new staff and institute new procedures. Im pretty sure I could have done a lot better at my local Gun Store. Keep this in mind when you consider buying from them.

Barrel treading (2) was done quick and nicely done, order process done painless, the only complaints I had was the fact when I asked how long before ATF will have the paper work and was told it would be there in 12-14 days (lie) it took a month for them to get it not happy about the fib, then on 3-24 found out from ATF was approved on 2-18 and called and was told they did not have stamp yet but received email 2 days later saying it was there and could pick up or have it mailed. but would have been nice if I had been told on 3-24 that they had moved I would have not driven to the old place first. on top of that did not even get a shirt to advertise for them! I looked at these at a gun show I never ended up buying it at the show. I called them a couple weeks later about it they sent me paperwork in the mail that I returned with a photo card. Then the wait began. The best part was when I finally got approved it showed up at my door. Would also recommend their gun smith for barrel threading quick turn around time.

I dont believe Silencer Central could have made the process any easier! They walk you through the application process, fill out all your forms and submit them within ~15 - 20 minutes. I purchased a .22 and .30 can, and both are flawless. I have put countless rounds through both, and never had any issues with either. If you take care of them and keep them clean, they will last you for many years. Also, their communication through the waiting game was great. I would periodically get an email letting me know what month/year applications they were currently processing. While this didnt make the waiting process any easier, I at least had a sense of how far out my approval should be.

2 stars because Im in a good mood. Heres my experience with emails to back up my story. I began communicating with Ben about getting my barrel threaded. The biggest thing with me was turn around time. The email he sent me was 5-7 business days roughly. I recieved an invoice on Jan 19th. Well today is business day 18. The money came out of my account Feb 1st which the website states When the work is completed. Today is Feb 11th and still no shipping notice. I use a supressor on a .300 Win Mag. I used to have a muzzlebrake but git tired of my ears ringing if I either forgot to put in ear plugs while hunting or simply didnt have time to get them in.Now I dont worry about ear plugs while hunting. As a bonus the recoil is also very manageable.Worth every penny and the wait to get it.

They take the complexity out of the supressor purchase process. In person, 10 minute transaction, start to finish including photos, finger prints and trust. Online purchase was simple too, they sent all the trust documents with earmarked required fields, beyond completing forms, all I had to do was go to my local PD for prints, Wallgreens for passport photo and send it in. All the staff I have worked with are shooters themselves, super helpful and knowledge about the products and processes. Great company that I strongly recommend.
