Martza was amazing! My 3 year old son has been freaking out about getting his haircut lately. She was so great with him. Very calm. Told me to step outside to see if she could cut his hair without me in the room. He let her cut his hair! I could see they were laughing and having a good time. His haircut looked great. THANK YOU SO MUCH

The stylists are not very friendly. The salon is full of overpriced toys that add another level of anxiety for parents and kids. I met the owner one time - she is very nice and also had some good tips for my son who gets very anxious getting his hair cut. But we have been coming here for two years and, after a bad experience today, it is not worth the drive. I suggest getting your child used to a regular barber or salon. The staff have been rude and I will no longer be giving them my business.

Rose was sweet and kind. Tried to settle my child for a first haircut. She tailored the entertainment to my child’s favorite show. A receptionist is needed to ensure everything is able to be preformed that is registered for. They offer a first haircut package that entails a photo and certificate. The stylist is responsible for everything - entertaining the child and cutting the hair of the child, answering the phone, cleaning the salon, taking photos and printing the package for the certificate, and checking out the customer. It is a lot for one person and expect the best quality in your product. A receptionist could be customizing the experience based on what you order and helping the stylist so much to keep everything on time.

No complaints they did a great job with my son and took us on time

We just took my son to the Smithtown Snip-Its and we could not be happier! He is autistic and haircuts are always a traumatic experience, but todays was so much better. Ellen cut his hair and she was so calm, patient and kind throughout the whole thing. We will definitely be going back again!!

Not friendly, rude service. first haircut for my granddaughter. I was late, got lost, apologized profusely, willie g to reschedule and was told well, Im the only one here! We may as well do this. Did not receive the package which was called in for the appointment. Was told, no one told me about a package. Hairdresser did not know the procedure, called owner who did no return her call. Was supposed to get clippings of hair, which were cut onto the floor, which I retrieved. Never got picture which was also supposed to be provided because hairdresser didnt know how to use the equipment. Was told we will mail it to you. WILL NEVER use or recommend them. Horrible experience. 😡

I’m so happy I took my daughter who’s going to be 4 yrs old here!!! She felt right at home!! They were so nice, put the iPad on for her, had a conversation with her. My daughter was so happy and loved her haircut!!! Can’t wait to come back here again!! I definitely highly recommend this place!! Such a cute place for kids!!!!

The facility was very clean for my daughter’s first haircut post-quarantine. Staff is friendly and gave us exactly what we asked for. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely love this place! I’m so happy they opened in Smithtown. They were kind, patient, and friendly. I will definitely be back with my 3 year old. I also love that it’s not super crowded with toys like other Snip-It’s Locations.
