I had the most amazing experience at Studio 23 my first time cutting all my hair off “Big Chop” it was awesome. I really appreciate my barber Juice so professional and patience and also Ms. Kim who dyed my hair she was amazing and professional and knew exactly what she was talking about. This was my very first time and experience at this salon and I was pleased with the service I received. I loved that this is a very intimate space and I didnt feel overwhelmed by feeling like the next one in line. My appointment was with Kim and she was very sweet. She listened to what I wanted and helped me work through the uncertainty I was having about my haircut. She was very knowledgeable and educated me on a lot of things and was also very patient with my hair (I am natural!). In the end, she did a great job on my cut and I am enjoying the fruits of her labor. I will definitely be back...Thanks so much Kim!

OMG!!! Studio 23 Hair Design is AWESOME!! I have not been in a salon like this in 26 years; (Studio 21, Union City) what a coincidence. It started with a very professional/friendly telephone call from my Master Hair Stylist Melissa, checking to see if I was on my way. The conversation was so pleasant, like talking to one of my younger sisters. Melissa earned the title under her name on her business card. This stylist is a Master. I removed my Satin Cap, told her what was going on with my hair; 6months post relaxed trims every three months, braid out as protective style. Thats all l said. Melissa took it from there. I got a Silk Press with a trim, shampoo and conditioner included. When Melissa finished my hair handed me the mirror. I couldnt believe it. She had curled and styled my hair the way lve worn it for years. She never asked me how do you want it styled. I didnt have to comb it myself. Now, wouldnt you agree: Melissa is a Master Hair Stylist. Im so impressed l now have a standing appointment. It has been 26 years. Look out 2020 is truly my year. Melissa l am Thankful for you and your skills. My friend said, Anita there is a professional hair stylist that you can trust to care for your hair and style it to your satisfaction. He has not seen it as of yet. I cant wait to see his reaction.

I had natural hair for 5 years and decided I was going back to a relaxer. I booked my appointment online and Melissa was a dream come true!! I’m was so pleased with the process and definitely will be a repeat client! My hair feels healthy and looks AMAZING!! I kept all my length just trimmed my ends which was NECESSARY!! Definitely a game changer!!

Today was my first time going to this salon and I have lots to say about my experience. I called yesterday to make a last minute appointment for today and they were able to fit me right in with Melissa . Melissa was absolutely amazing. I was pretty nervous coming here and had a certain image of what I wanted my hair to look like. Melissa was very nice and relatable. She was on time for my appointment and the salon was very clean once I arrived. She helped me to understand what was important for my hair and achieved the look I wanted. I had a great experience here and even got a chance to talk to the owner and she was amazing too. From what I see this is one of the best salons and I would encourage you to give them a try. I will absolutely be back and am so happy about my hair. Thanks guys!

I should’ve left this review a couple months ago, but Melissa did my hair. I have a natural 4b-c hair and when she was done, I looked like I had a perm, from her straightening my hair! I loved that she didn’t doubt book me. I had all her attention and was in and out a little under an hr. Thanks Melissa! Will definitely return.

Great experience. Melissa and Kim were personable and warm. My appointment was with Melissa. She did a great job on my rod set and offered lots of tips for at home maintenance.
