Caleb Wilson Lumber will lie to you. Do not buy lumber here. I am extremely disappointed and would give a negative star review if I could. I called Caleb Wilson Lumber on Saturday and confirmed that they had over 2,000 square feet of tongue and groove 1 by 12s. I also confirmed that the price was 1.25 a square foot. They confirmed the price. I told them that I would like to come on Tuesday and pick up the lumber, and the representative on the phone told me that would be fine. It was a 3 and a half hour drive for me to make it to Somerset Ky. When I arrived on Tuesday I was told they had almost completely sold out of the 1x12, but they had 1x8s. I was going to have to get 1x8s. These were listed as .90 per board foot on the ad, which the representative had confirmed for me was still true the Saturday prior. They started to calculate the price and it was 1.18 per board foot, not the .90 I had been promised. When I asked they employees told me the wood had gone up and that whoever told me .90 cents a square foot on the phone was wrong. I was not going to pay over $1,000 more than I had planned. They would not honor what I was told by their representative on the phone. This lumber company is a scam and will lie to you to make extra money. I left without any lumber and wasted over 7 hours on the road driving.

Never have I been so disrespected by a company. I called 3 days ago and got a price for lumber. I drove 3 hours today and they claimed the price was much higher per foot. I was going to cost me over $1000 more in lumber. They wouldn’t honor their word. Am employee spoke to the boss who refused to do anything. I left. Never would I give a dime to this business.

This is the second time I have bought from them. The first time I bought a unit of 1x8 tounge and groove pine boards and overall was pretty happy even though service was not very good. This trip I bought a unit of 1x8 t&g and some treated lumber a total of over $5000 and I had to load most of it by myself while there guys were just horsing around doing nothing. Then went to get my unit of 1x6 that I bought and they proceeded to tell me they were all sold that I had to take 1x8 if I wanted anything. Needless to say there prices have went way up which all lumber has not just theres however there service is horrible. Needless to say I have another supplier i will be using for the next couple units of 1x6
