Great coffee and ambiance. They have this chagaccino latte which was amazing and I would definitely go back to just to try that. Good list of pastries as well and on top they have some board games to play!

An awesome lounge; The baristas were super knowledgeable and had recommendations for every scenario and diet, I ended up ordering two drinks for myself. The Pumpkin Spice Tea was good, and I had a Black Tea with Milk and Rose added. I have to go back and try some more teas! The seating area is nice and cozy, and they have some board games as well. Wonderful atmosphere

We were passing through on our way home to NH from a NJ vacation. Sadly, this was a sour note after a nice vacation. There was one person working alone. She was accepting orders and payment, while preparing fancy coffees, smoothies, and cooking in the back room. Another woman entered the shop wearing a half top, and carrying several large grocery bags from Trader Joe’s. Bread from the bag fell out on the floor in front of us. She hurriedly popped into the back room, maybe to complete the order we had been patiently waiting for, for a half an hour. When my husband asked for a refund, we were told the food was ready, but in fact, it was not. Orders and payment from other customers continued to multiply on the counter. A very dry and burned looking croissant thrown into a brown box later... alas, we got our refund. Understandably, there is a shortage of workers, but we were treated very poorly. It seems that when workers are in short supply, customer service should compensate for what is lacking in service and food preparation. This was a bad experience that led us to DD for a $15 bill instead of a $40 bill. We were willing to pay for good quality food, and thought this was what we would get from Bliss. Unfortunately, management and customer satisfaction did not seem to be their priority. I wish them the best of luck, and hope that things work out for them.

A peaceful haven in the hustling and bustling downtown of Somerville. Beautiful interiors. Loved the coffee and the vibe.

We recently discovered this cute spot in Somerville and cannot stop going for breakfast on the weekends. Highly recommend their peanut butter banana toast and salmon avocado toast. To die for!

Met up with a friend and his family. The Brazilian French press, and Sumatran pourover were very good. They will make your coffee various ways such as, chemex, pourover, French press etc. Unlike its nearest competitor who tells you how you can have your coffee! The food was equally as good and service really pleasant and good. Good selection of coffee and tea and a great interior also. After about 6 or 7 great experiences in a row I recommend you check this really nice coffee lounge out.

What a beautiful place! It’s nothing like they have in town. Just a cozy little BYOB place with live music on Friday’s. I had the truffle burrata pizza and it was AMAZING! Best one I ever had. They open up two week ago and I have already been there twice and will be going back! It’s a cant miss in Summerville

Been there twice and was disappointed both times. The first time, I didnt enjoy my drink, probably more of a personal preference thing. Second time they were out of most of their ingredients - including mocha?! The cups were all dirty and the baristas were really kind. Management need to turn this place around or else close up shop.

Fantastic coffee spot! Had a perfect almond milk latte. Plenty of outlets, comfortable seats, cute decor, and a lounge in the back. I visited on a Friday night, and they had live music as well! Will be stopping here regularly! :)

My friend and I visited this amazing coffee. Had the Chaga coffee, gelato was amazing and homemade. Their pastries are delicious and made from scratch. The owners made us feel like family. Please stop by and experience this place for yourself

Local coffee shop at its best!! A cute little store full of plants and greenery 💚The baristas recommended us some delicious beverages.We ordered the Hot Woodblock Cocoa in coconut milk and Tiramisu Latte in oat milk. They were both rich, creamy and not too sweet just how we like it.The custom latte art machine was out of order but we will be visiting back again to try new beverages with some custom latte arts.

Not many breakfast spots around Bridgewater Somerville area so we had high hopes walking in here. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese on waffle and honestly a 5 year old wouldve still been hungry with the portion size they give you. $9 for a bite size breakfast. My wife and I paid $30 for a $12 breakfast. Absolutely terrible portion size. Go across the street to Mikes Courtside for better food and portion size. Not coming back.EDIT : Sean, the lack of response from your copy and paste shows how much you care about customer service. I really wish you well but covid is not a response to your portion size. It doesnt take much to keep your customers happy. Try again.

I have been waiting so long for this kind of atmosphere in somerville but the food and drinks do not measure up to the atmosphere. I want to love it but you cant have only one person working. She cant man the register, take orders, prepare orders and serve alone.

In a short amount of time, Bliss has made a regular out of me. I stopped at their premises without realizing they were newly opened, as Ive just moved into town, even though I was on my way to the Starbucks down the street. I dont regret my decision at all. Better tasting drinks for similar pricing, and they come much faster to you, even when its busy. The workers are always friendly, and some of them have even remembered me. The ambiance and aesthetics are pleasing and beautiful, and the music is relaxing without distracting you from your work, reading, or conversation. The food is admittedly pricey, but this is understandable given the quality of the ingredients.

We just started going to Bliss. There are plenty of places to get a good cup of coffee in Somerville but Bliss stands out, not just for the coffee which is excellent, but for the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Were looking forward to returning and relaxing in the lounge with another great cup of coffee.

Got my first cup of onsite roasted coffee today. Its quite good. Will have to pick up some beans there next.

What an amazing coffee shop they just open. It’s right in the center of town, its a cute, adorable place with amazing coffee and also its BYOB! Just amazing the food was excellent so yummy and great coffee too. Perfect lounge room in the back for something more private. I will be going back for sure!

I have been there several times and it was an amazing experience. They just opened two weeks ago and I been back 5 times. They offer top quality coffee, lattes, espresso and many more. They have multi different options to add to your coffee. I have tried many different items on the menu and had their desserts. Everything Ive had was excellent quality and so delicious. I live in Edison and its well worth the ride. The owners and people who work there are so friendly and warm. You wont want to leave. I live in Edison and its worth the ride. I highly recommend it.

We waited an hour for terrible waffles and coffee. Terrible service and the woman walking out to give us the food had no mask. I mentioned her not wearing a mask and she said she was busy and run in and out serving. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT WEARING A MASK! The person next to us ordered the waffle which comes with almond butter, well they replaced it with regular peanut butter that he is allergic too!!!!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. The environment is so peaceful, the decoration makes you feel like you’re in Bali. The food is fresh and delicious! Not really a coffee drinker, but they have a variety of teas which you can pick from; the tea sets make you feel like you’re at a tea club, sooooooo adorable. Everything about my experience was perfect! 100% recommend! Also, It’s byob which means, we enjoyed some tea then some wine. No better plan for a Saturday evening.

What a wonderful full service cafe. Amazing coffee, service and food. Lets talk about coffee. Bliss Coffee Lounge roasts their own coffee and sells bean and ground bulk coffee to go. This explains how they can offer such fresh coffee and such a diverse choices of roasts. I am a coffee fan. BCL is the first cafe I have found in the Morris, Somerset or Middlesex counties that offers custom brewed coffee using Chemex, Hario V60, French Press and Aeropress methods as well as all the popular expresso based coffee beverages. I found the two pour over brew methods good but a little mild for my taste. When I told Dennis, one of the owners, he suggested I try an Aeropress since I prefer strong coffee flavors without the acid or bitterness of a french press. Dennis knows his coffee. This was perfect for me. I was so impressed, I bought my own aeropress to brew coffee at home.Now about the food. I honestly havent tried many items; but I love the ones that I have tried. The grass fed beef sliders on garlic bread rolls are amazing. I have tried them with and without the optional avacado. Always great. The smoked salmon and goat cheese personal pizza is also amazing. Bliss Coffee Lounge is not a destination for a full dinner. If you interested in a light meal; this is a good choice. I no longer eat pastries or desserts, so I cannot comment on these but they look great and other patrons seem to enjoy them.Finally, I want to talk about service. This owners and workers at Bliss provide excellent service and go out of the way to cater to their customers.I cannot recommend Bliss Coffee Lounge enough.When indoor dining is available again, I understand they will be bringing back Friday night entertainment.

They’re new to town and have big shoes to fill having taken over the beloved Dragonfly’s space so I understand their need to make a splash in town- but setting New York City prices for ONE slice of bland Avocado Toast in Somerville is not my definition of bliss. It was beyond disappointing. Having read your previous review echoing my sentiments about the Avocado Toast being too expensive- please do not suggest adding Salmon, I do not eat it.Updated review based on owners response:Bland is something you have heard- from me. And ONE slice of avocado toast- is something no one is giving for the price your charging which you have now heard from at least two customers online. It’s clear you won’t take the suggestion that it’s an unacceptable price for one measly slice of subpar toast.
