A great place to study and work. Medium latte is the best ✨
Thanks for the great customer service.
Coffee was amazing, but I wasn’t allowed to ask any questions about my account — I had a couple. I was advised by the 2 employees that were too busy chatting up a local police officer (thank you for what you do officer) that they were only offering grab and go service. Why do you have 2 employees there (in addition to the barista) if you only offer grab-and-go service. Genuinely disappointed in my first visit to the cafe. 🥺Edit: changing from one star to three because they responded and the coffee was actually really good. Better and cheaper than Starbucks.
I have been coming to this cafe daily for the last month and I love it! Everything from the staff to the space is very welcoming. The space is huge and there is plenty of room between tables. The design is very minimalist and wont get in the way of what you came in to do. You wont be bothered by overstuffed trash or dirty sugar/milk counters. The staff is super friendly and you wont even feel like they work for a bank. They are always looking for ways to interact with customers by putting up riddles, or question of the day. The only thing that will constantly remind you that you are at a bank are the TVs and the giant displays.I prefer Peets over Starbucks because their drinks are much stronger, be it coffee or chai. It is slightly more expensive than Starbucks but with the half off discount for drinks, its quite competitive. If you havent noticed, most local banks have started to offer classes about personal finance and this capital one is no different...but the thing that sets them apart is the free life coaching sessions and you dont even have to be a customer.Other the obvious things that can be seen immediately, what C1C has done well is create an environment to have open conversations about money. Through the classes, you can see that they want to help their customers in planning their life as a whole not just the money portion. The role of businesses should be to serve the community and C1C does it well.
Welcoming staff, fantastic coffee, great space. Gabriella and Erica (barista) are awesome! Gabriella walked me through all of the different account options and how to open an account. There was no pressure at all, just a friendly walk through and the offer to help in any way that she could. Ive been back about 6 or 7 times for coffee, and it is a always pleasant experience. Even if you dont have an account there, its a nice place to hang out and have the best cappuccino around.
This is just an ATM with an employee present. The staff are super unhelpful and cant do anything if your debit card is broken.
When I first walked in, it didnt feel like I was at a bank. Other than the logo and the few ATMs around, it looked exactly like a cafe. People were just hanging out and doing work on their laptops. It is a pretty chill environment. As I walked around, I was eventually greeted by someone who worked there. He was really friendly and answered all the questions I had without making me feel pressured to open an account.
I dislike any sort of over-sold marketing schemes... this place is phenomenal. I was consistently treated to on-the-house coffees, friendly discussion and fun games/riddles/interactions from the staff, regardless of my membership (or lack there-of). Seriously, you would forget this place has anything to do with a bank. Now, some people may approach this as a crafty marketing scheme. I dont think crafty is an appropriate word for it, honestly. I became a member of Capital One, simply because they were KIND to me- I was working away one day, and one of the staff approached me, and I assumed they were finally going to push me to open an account there. ...nope, they wanted to give me free pizza. The staff, both behind the counter of the Peets Cafe, and the C1C staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Yesterday was a catered crepe day, so everyone got both a lunch crepe and a dessert crepe as well (they dont care if youre a member to take part). My wife and I came in last month for their free waffle Saturday. We had breakfast, played board games (they have them there), and hung out with the staff. This place is the best.
All kinds of cafe beverages served here as well as some food. I highly recommend getting a Capital One credit card in order to get it all at 50% off. The lounge here is also very spacious and conducive to productivity, its not loud, theres outlets, desks, space, etc.
I dont really get the idea here, but as a CO member, I went in to see what it was. Its just a coffee shop (Peets Coffee) with lots of places to sit and lounge which is very nice. Plus lots of advertisements around trying to entice you into becoming a CO customer.
The atmosphere is great and the Capital One team members were extremely welcoming and helpful. I also thought the service when ordering a coffee was excellent. Ill definitely be back often!
I really wanted to love it here...but did not feel welcome. The day crew had been extremely friendly and gave us coupons. We came back to grab a coffee, while we shopped, and the clerk was playing music onher phone, while the house music played. It was painful. We left
Stupid concept, stick with your traditional bank that can actually withdraw cash from a savings account or an online bank that is clear that you need a debit card/checking account in order to withdraw cash from. Essentially, they want more opened bank accounts (I.e having a checking account along with a savings account) & people there hanging out drinking coffee & being on their laptops to seem like they’re worth it.If I could, I would’ve given them a 1/4 of a star.
Why does Capital One even operate these cafes? Walked in to get a cashiers check and was told I have to use the app. They provide no banking services here beyond helping people open new accounts and other things that are useless to actual customers.
Great location, friendly staff. I visit frequent and usually stay for several hours as this is a great place to work as well.
Nice clean place
People and customer service were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help me out, I highly recommend this location and this bank.
Love the bank and the cafe. Great atmosphere for studying, hanging out, or just taking a break.
Great spot for a cup of something hot. They serve Peets coffee exclusively here and make up your order on the spot. And dont be turned off by the Capital One part, the associates here arent on you to sign up for anything though they are able to assist if you want. Bonus for Cap One cardmembers, everything is discounted when you pay with their plastic. Comfy surroundings, good wifi, and pretty good coffee too.
Nice, airy place in great location, close to T. Needs some comfy seating, all seats and chairs are rigid and uncomfortable. Love the CapitalOne discount on coffee!!!
I usually go get a drink from this location. But on 1/10/19 at 7 pm the girl who was working inside the café was extremely rude when taking my order giving attitude and not including that I paid using my capital one card. The service was horrible and so were the drinks I ordered and had to pay full price even when using capital one card. The drinks —> trash and had to go to café Nero. Just make sure you hire the right people. (:
The people that work here are phenomenal.
ATM is accessible 24/7
Amazing staff, very friendly
Capital one Café
