This was the worst experience with a medical professional I’ve ever had. The doctor was very creepy right off the bat. He whispered my name right behind me instead of calling out my name in the waiting area. He then proceeded to explain he doesn’t believe in vaccines or wearing masks. He went on to touch my knee and shoulder “accidentally” multiple times. At one point he apologized for bumping my knee and then said “if it had been on purpose I would have done it harder.” I very nearly walked out. He was behaving so bizarrely it made me wonder if he was high on something.My boyfriend had a similarly strange experience where the doctor discussed dead bodies with him. The doctor charged my boyfriend for a contact fitting that he didn’t even do. The prescription for the contacts and glasses is the same and my boyfriend already knew his contact brand. They charged him for a fitting anyway, despite not actually doing a fitting. That’s $60 to receive literally the exact same prescription as the glasses. The only good part of the experience were the office staff, who were very polite.

The doctor was incredibly inappropriate, careless, and more concerned with telling his own anecdotes than conducting the eye exam or respecting his patients. I was led to believe that he had received his covid vaccine when entering the exam room, where he encouraged me to remove my mask, to find out after the exam that he had not but instead actively advocated against the vaccine. He repeatedly touched my girlfriends legs and shoulders throughout the exam making her incredibly uncomfortable to the point where she nearly left in the middle of the exam. Additionally, I was charged for both a contact examination and a glasses examination despite receiving the exact same prescription for each costing me an additonal $65 unnecessarily. Overall, this was the worst experience with a medical professional Ive ever experienced.The only good part of my experience was the office staff who were incredibly polite and helpful.

Go with eyes wide open. if it sounds to good it is. had broken frame same one on shelf asked to buy frame and put lenses in them. no they would not.. 2 pair glasses n frames $69.. used insurance charged over 300 for 1 pair. thats why our health care suffers.

Terrible staff and store! My fiancee has a mental disability and anxiety, which was explained when discussing an issue and had two staff, America and Jasmine, insult her several times. They refused to let us speak to management, refused a refund and would not give a copy of her prescription, at which time I had to raise my voice. Furthermore, the glasses we were supposed to pick up did not work, and now we are basically out $200, as they will not do the right things. Terrible place. Terrible staff. Avoid like th plague if youre anything but super rich.

First of all I won’t give them any star, I bought the buy one get ones as they call it I still spent close to $600. The one pair glasses I love them until the frame broke but they can’t fix it. The second pair I could never wear from day one because they made me dizzy I took them in several times and they adjusted and then they adjusted them and so on I never was able to wear them. So today I went for an eye exam and I told the doctor I could never wear that other pair glasses she looked at them and said they were made wrong,Well the manager there she put one of her employees to contact with me they wanted to charge me another $200 to fix that pair of glasses..Which I did not agree to why should I have to pay for those glasses again when I already bought them when it was their screwup I will never ever go back to eyecare express and I hope you other people wise up to

Spent over 250 for my daughters prescription glasses after all the add ons and hidden fees. Paid extra for durable frames and they broke within 3 weeks of her using them . Called and asked if they could fix frame as the part where the screw goes in was the only thing that was broken they said they couldn’t fix them at all and that I would have to get a whole new set !! Went else where and I was able to get her two nice frames with prescription for the prize of one here and it comes with one year warranty .

Was upset I had a appointment at 11:00 but they keep taking walk in and I was late to work got seen at 12 !!!! Then they told me eye exam was free I specifically asked was it free for contacts exam and I was told yes right after they gave me that exam they gave me my trial contacts and then I was told there was a fee doc was very sweet and so was The lady who was helping me with my glasses and contacts she apologized for me being told there was no fee I was still charged just wish they were more upfront about prices

As a former employee who was fired from this place let me explain by you should avoid this business.First let me be honest, I was the lab manager at this location. I was fired for calling the head lab manager a cry baby, Ill get to that in a bit.Eyecare Express will rip you off in one or a few other ways. Let me make a list.1: The company offers a Buy One Get One Free deal. Sure that sounds great, however most of not all frames are $99 or higher. However if you look up those frames on the manufacturers website youll find out theyre around $40 for most.I understand markup but not by 300%. They lure you in for what they butter up as a great deal but you are paying for buying the two frames for a price that doesnt even match the one. Example, they sell a Haggar H250 frame for $139 however, in the manufacturers website it is priced at $41.502: If you purchase polycarbonate as your lens material, you might have a chance of getting ripped off. Let me explain that Polycarbonate is a lighter material, shatter resistant, 100% UV proof, etc.There have been many times I have seen a ticket where the customer had ordered and purchased poly but the opticians would pull plastic lenses for them which dont share the same benefits as poly.Understand, the company has to order poly lenses from an outside source and arrival can take up to a week. However this does not justify this amount of deceit.If you purchased Poly lenses from here and are worried you were ripped off, you can test them in a few ways to verify that theyre exactly what you ordered.* When water hits the poly material, it will bead up and drip off kind of like rain on a freshly sprayed windshield.* If you can manage to take the lens out of the frame and drop it on a table about 6 from the surface, poly will make almost a high pitch ping sound like a coin. Plastic will make a softer thud like sound.* If you take your glasses to another optical business with a lab, chances are they will have a photometer (measures UV transmission through the lens) Eyemart Express has one of these tools. Poly lenses should read 0% -5% depending on the age of the lenses.3: If you purchased a UV treatment for your lenses, you were ripped off. UV treatment is for plastic lenses only (Again, Poly is 100% UV proof) The process for UV treating a plastic lenses is to have it soak in a hot vat of a UV(sometimes scratch resistant) solution until the lens reads 4% or lower UV transmission.I am here to tell you that the company does not do this service even though they will sell it to you. And a few times Ive seen people order this with Poly lenses which again, are already 100% UV proof. In fact m, the lab at this store doesnt have a photometer to measure the rating.I was told by the store manager that the lenses already have the UV treatment in them. Well if thats the case then why do they sell it as an add on?If you ever had plans on possibly working here, dont. Management exercises horrendous leadership skills and cant handle the slightest amount of stress. My boss (Jake) was a prime example of this. This guy would not show you how things were done within this company and then would attempt to do everything himself and then throw a tantrum if you didnt get these things done. You cant do thing you dont teach your people how to do buddy.The lack of organization at this company is astounding. In the lab there was trash and miscellaneous junk all over. Parts, supplies, and equipment would be purchased and then just tossed aside to collect dust and be in the way.I was astonished that my former lab crew didnt know even the simple basics of preventative maintenance or proper cleaning of the lab equipment. They would tell me they were never taught which judging by the horrible management and leadership, I believe them.The VP of marketing was a great guy however, I wish him the best of luck.

We have used Eyecare Express in South Bend, Indiana for many years. We took 2 pair of eye glasses in to have the nose pieces fixed.(They were purchased there and nose pieces came off both pair within a couple of weeks) The employee taking care of us didnt seem to want to help from the start. She was very rude and basically told us they wont repair them and there is nothing they can do for us. They just lost a customer. Will not return!We took our business to Stanton Optical. They were wonderful.

FRAUD ALERT - PATIENT SAFETY HAZARD AND RIP-OFFS.I am now a former employee at Eyecare Express due to being fired because I caught them red-handed selling polycarbonate lenses as plastic. I have worked in eyecare for 2 years at other places and know optics up, down, left, and right. I used to work as an optics lab tech at one place for one year and tried another optical place for another year for both an optics lab tech as well worked in the doctors office.At Eyecare Express I was hired in as an optics lab tech. I caught them red-handed selling polycarbonate lenses as plastic. Polycarbonate lenses to begin with is more money for patients. Also, polycarbonate is safe for children (due to roughhousing and activity), for elderly (fall hazards), and required for safety glasses due to strong shatter resistance. Poly also has UV protection that plastic lacks. As well other benefits such as being lightweight. Plastic lenses are thicker and heavier and shatter easily and if it were to shatter it can blind a person. It offers no UV protection.I was making a safety pair and noticed the lenses were plastic despite being labeled as Poly. The patient paid for poly yet the lenses were plastic. Let alone, again, was a safety pair. I went to the lab manager and asked about it and she said that they run poly as plastic often and that it isnt a big deal.Then I talked to the sales associate and they also confirmed that they sell poly as plastic. I explained to them what I stated above why this is unsafe, fraud, and let alone highly illegal and a danger to patients. They didnt care and called the district lab manager, Jake, and he called me. He claimed I yelled at the associates (which is untrue) and that I was fired. I told him about all of this yet he denied the claims. I told him that I was fired because of my catching them and he lied about me causing problems when I was never in trouble before. We argued over the phone and I told him Ill be reporting them and he mocked me saying who could I even tell. Well, Ill figure it out. Starting here to warn patients.The store manager also lied saying patients cannot afford a polycarbonate upgrade for lenses thinking Im an idiot. Oh honey, Ive worked in optics for 2 years and polycarbonate is the most popular material for lenses.I care for patient safety given I worked with patients before. I take my job seriously as an optics lab tech and want to provide care for people. But this is wrong on all levels.Edit: btw they do sell poly but only limited with certain prescriptions and not with bifocals, trifocals, or progressives. Nor with very high power lenses. This is due to there are pre-made lenses made out-of-lab that they get but its highly limited. So most poly orders are faked and are actually plastic.

Their staff are very friendly and helpful and their docs take the time at each appointment to check in and address any concerns. Their staff are also great at helping pick out eyeglasses and they have a great sunglasses sale every spring.

I called ahead to ask questions and get details on their special offer for $69 BOGO and free eye exam. I asked for ALL additional fees and wasnt told of any. I wanted to make sure I was only going to pay around $100 in total. I walked out today WAY over that because of fees I wasnt told about over the phone. I also should add their glasses at $69 are very few and terrible selection so unless you want ugly glasses, plan to spend more along with their single or double vision fees for the lenses on top of your purchase. Thats the fee that wasnt told to me. Highly annoying.

TERRIBLE! If i could give no stars i would!! I was told they take my insurance i just has to fill out a form. Turns out they dont take my insurance and now I cant have a refund for my $200 that I sent on glasses that are crooked. I took them back twice and they still gave them to me crooked. DO NOT GO HERE! The employees should not tell someone something if they dont know them selves!

Price: A+Service: A+They got me in last minute on a Sunday when my eye exam at a different provider cancelled on me at the last second. I must have called 7 places in the area before finally finding EyeCare Express. Matt provided me with one of the most informational eye exams ever. He was genuine, caring, and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I was fitted for contacts that best suited me. I didnt even know they made contacts that filtered out blue light, which is very important for someone like me who looks at a computer screen all day for my job. Thank you Matt, and the whole EyeCare Express team for providing such a great experience!

I took my son to the South Bend location to get new glasses because his old ones broke and he isnt due for new ones through our insurance for months. This place is definitely affordable. The staff was amazing! The Doctor did a great job with my 8 year old. The ladies we super helpful while picking out glasses and adjusting his new ones. An hour after we picked out glasses we had the new ones to take with us. I will go back, we had a great first experience!

Was just ripped off by Eyecare Express and will not return, after bringing myself and all my kids in for exams and frames on multiple occasions.We chose a pair of $99 frames, and for the second free pair, a $79 pair. For the first time, they charged me $99 for the lenses, despite the fact that lenses have always been included in the past. Their website clearly states$69 & UP BUY ONE PAIR, GET ONE FREE!– get your eye exam*– select your frames– single vision lenses included– add upgrades for additional costsWhen we called, Jennifer told us this did not cover higher cost frames. Please dont buy glasses here. We have had to return to the store 3 times and still do not have the glasses we paid $346.00 for single vision glasses with anti-glare coating! I have bifocals with anti-glare and anti-scratch coatings both that were not this expensive!. Once the lenses came in we were told the staff broke the frames while trying to insert them into the frames! Frames had to be reordered! Went back today to get the glasses and the staff had switched the left and right eye prescription. Total incompetence! This is ridiculous. We asked for our money back and were told they dont give refunds! This is inexcusable!

I went here once several years ago and i remember them to be quite professional. They answered all of my questions and the rep who dealt with me went out of his way to work with in my insurance limits to get me the best deal. He even gave me a discount, which allowed me to get the pair of glasses i wanted with out having to pay anything, where, without the discount, i would have had to pay.

The exam was fast, and a decent price for the frame and lens I got. One of my glasses broke the first week, but they immediately took care of it no cost. When my new glasses became ready the lady accidentally broke it, but they replaced that too. The staff were clear on their prices and charge, the lady was also really apologetic about it. Many people hate the service here, but you cant always expect the best from people dealing with so much people everyday, but good people here and would recommend getting lens here. 🤗

Needed a temporary pair of glasses made after cataract surgery and ended up at EyeCare Express after speaking with the receptionist. I apologize for not remembering names. Presented prescription and was told would be ready in 45 minutes and they were. When I put them on there was no difference in my vision so needless to say I was very upset at having spent $79 for an unusable pair of glasses. They also were puzzled by this. Called the opthamologist office and they determined that the prescription had been written wrong. A corrected prescription was sent and the Manager (again I apologize for not remembering names) put a rush on it and they were ready in 30 minutes. They were perfect. I thought I would have to pay again for the lenses but the correct lenses were free of charge to me since I had not made the error. Thank you to the staff of this establishment. It was a not so good day but they went out of their way to get my situation taken care of. I realize that not everyone has had a positive experience but I did and feel it should be noted.

The new Eye care Express location at Illinois road in Fort Wayne Indiana is such a Lovely new store. I enjoyed my experience there very much. I not only got a great new pair of glasses but a pair of sun glasses too. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I left there feeling like I spent my money wisely and experienced wonderful customers service. I recommend this store to anybody looking for glasses.I will return,as well as letting my friends and family know that this should be their new eye care facility. Danni Jo helped me personally and what usually would take me hours to decide was cut in half due to her help with my selection of frames.5 stars for sure. Check them out!

Beware: This establishment WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY PERIOD. Even if they cannot provide you with glasses that improve your sight not make it worse. Have you ever been told, “your brain needs to relearn what you are seeing?” I have worn glasses since 4th grade. I understand the period of adjustment for your eyes, BUT NEVER ONCE have I not seen better!! I have tried for over a month to speak with the Manager to approve the Return & Refund, but she has never called back. If this cannot be resolved, I will post my email address and start a partition against this company. I do not like being robbed of my hard earned money!! I broke my glasses while visiting family and needed new ones so I wasnt without during my vacation. I came in here, and it was a relieving visit. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. My visit didnt take hours like it usually does, and I got my glasses same day. The manager was more than helpful when it came to getting my prescription faxed over from my eye doctors office in my home town. Everyone was more than friendly, and if I lived here, I would definitely come back!

Destroyed my designer Oakley frames and then lied to me and said they didnt do it and wouldnt pay for the frames. The Store Manager offer to exchange my expensive designer glasses with some cheap non-branded frames and said If I dont like the exchange offer than I can leave the store. How is this at all a fair exchange?? My expensive designer frames for your $1 frames. Also have had other problems in the past where they put the wrong prescription lenses in my frames, also another time when they damaged the lenses while they were putting them in, and another time when they didnt cut the lenses right to fit the frame. This place is unprofessional and a scam!! Do not go here as Ive had other people have problems with this place too! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I’ve been in contact with Jennifer the store manager phone number 291-1100 I’ve noticed on the other bad comments you’ve given this number out. I am asking for a number that is for your general manager or district manager please. Since no one at your store will give it to me let’s see if this works. Also I’ve been in contact with you VP of operations and I’m getting no where fast. So if I could speak with a real human being that is willing to listen to what has happened to me I would greatly appreciate that seeing as how it talks about how amazing your customer service is on your website I would really love to see it in real life.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at an eye care provider. Beware all of their policies before you walk through the door(personalized medical device-no refunds). Just because they have good prices and deals do not think you will receive quality. I bought contacts, glasses, a new pair of lenses and a eye exam. When I went in to pick up my contacts, and confront them about me not wanting to keep the frames they just pointed to a policy that was printed on a piece of paper near checkout. After less than a week I started to get headaches from the new frames I purchased and within less than a week I was trying to return them in the store. Now, I had also been refused rudely when I asked about having another pair of lenses put in an additional pair of frames, with the comment there not in good enough condition. I exclaimed I just bought a new pair of glasses from you, why cannot you not just get me a pair of lenses for these older frames. She got fussy, when I exclaimed that I often get headaches and removed one of the arms and that my frames(so I do no get a headache) were not in bad shape. Then after she told me no refund could or would be given she said she could credit me for contact boxes and walked away. Next, she approaches me with a manager. She says because you ordered your contacts already I can not credit you or your account. We can offer you another frame choice, and I refused. I told her I would not continue my business there and took the frames that give me a headache home. Please I do not advise any one to go here for eye care. They overall have terrible customer service and low grade products with terrible exchange and refund policies. Thank you

I have been a repeat customer. This time I ordered 2 pairs of bifocals ($99) one pair clear and the others sunglass lenses.Got done with the exam which was very nice. Went to pay the bill and was charged $144. How come? The dark lenses are $45 extra.Picked them up two hours later and he said if the lenses arent dark enough he can darken them in a few minutes. Turns out they are just dyed in a solution. I think that $45 extra for a dyed lens is a rip off. Last time the dark lenses were free. Lose a star for that one friend.

Do not go to this fraudulent place! They are the worst place ever! I went there a year ago and they said their machine was broken down they had to send me my glasses. Did not receive glasses for over 10 days. Went back again today. The exact same thing happened as a year ago oh the machine is broken down will have to send you your glasses. I dont believe they even have a machine in house. They send the glasses out to be made. It cost me over $200 for one pair of glasses they are a crock of crap. The worst place ever in history. Are reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do not go!

I purchased over $600.00 in eyewear from this store. I got my contacts just fine.I wore my glasses twice and they fell apart. I took them in and we tried to find my frames so they could just switch the lenses. We finally found the same style but a different color. I said that was fine. I waited over a half hour for them to come out and tell me the lenses wouldnt fit and they would send them out to get everything fixed. They told me about 10 to 14 days. It has now been about 4 weeks and still no glasses. I have called several times and everytime is a different excuse!! I am always told that when they find out whats going on they will call me back. Surprise that has yet to happen. I finally drove to the store from Walkerton and told that they still havent made it to the store and I would definately be called by 5 tonight to inform me if they made the FedEx shipment for tomorrow. Well its now 915 and still no call!! I am beyond angry. I will never ever go back!!! Christine Wyatt.

Im not going to give 5 stars because nobodys perfect. However, Ive had nothing but good experiences so far. I think the blame for something like a frame breaking can also be put partially put upon the person handling the frame. I saw someone mentioned that. Also, if someone put your lenses in wrong did they correct the mistake? There is something called human error. If they did and all is well, why give them a low rating? Ive gone to places like C&B optical, which is supposed to be professional, had a terrible experience, and will NEVER go there again. As for the person who said they didnt want to be cheated out of theyre hard earned money...$60 or $100 is what their deals are. Thats pretty cheap. Anybody ever heard the expression you get what you pay for? I dont expect perfection unless Im paying top dollar for a product. Ill go to them again.

I took my son to the SB EyeCare Express on 5/18/19 because the one in Elkhart didn’t have a ophthalmologist that day and my son had needed his eye exam and new glasses for football/work. We always go to the one in Elkhart because they are wonderful people. When they say something, they do it. Well, at this appointment on the first day, everyone was excellent. He had gotten one pair of glasses to take home only because if we would’ve gotten the scratch resistant on it he wouldn’t have. Therefore, no work, no football. He’s a senior in high school! $563.00 Later! Yeah that price. They say the other pair will be ready in 7 days. On 5/25/19 I call before I come in because I live 30-45 minutes away and the worker had me on for 20 minutes. Then gets me on the phone and tells me they have a shipment in the back and she’s going through it and they might be in there, if they are she’ll call me. If not, they’ll be in the next day she promised. After that call I let my dogs out, looked back at my phone, she had left me a voicemail 30 seconds after our previous conversation saying she had called a lab and his glasses were not ready!!!! Well, I am a nurse of many many, In customer Service you DO NOT LIE!! She KNEW they weren’t in why didn’t she say it??? Instead of me holding forever?? Or lying saying she had to go through a nonexistent shipment? I’m sorry but there is ALOT more intelligent people out there. Anyway, per her VM on 5/25/19 stated they would be in 5/26/19 in am. So I drove up to SB today on 5/27/19. And waited forever as she walked around looked in cabinets. Another girl was there on her cell phone, setting At a desk, phones ringing off the hook, no one answering them. Nor is that girl assisting or attempting to do anything. Finally, my lady comes back And guess what?? NO GLASSES?!?!?!? I Told the lady I was very mad and upset. Know what she said??? Not my fault. I said “well, it’s certainly not mine, is it?” And I left. In my profession customer service and their priorities are at #1 top of my list. These ladies need me to educate them and whip them into shape. There is nothing to do about this. No manager they said. Can’t talk to the owner. Spend $600.00 in a store and get treated like that and nothing happens.

This place does not care about the customer...have been waiting on glasses since saturday, promised on sunday by 1, and then said not till 1 on monday.....got there at 3 and still no glasses....when we asked for a refund but said we would pay for exam as we needed the glasses they refused...the staff here was so arrogant that when i said i would like to file a complaint they said ii was threatening them and they were going to call the police....this was brought on by this company but they cant take the heat when they mess up and throw u out of the store saying you threatened them..... will be filing complaint with indiana attorney generals office and i want everyone to know this is not the place to do any business cause when they screw up its like,,,,oh well..... i do not even give them 1 star as i had to pick one in order to post this......its not ending here

Lets just say I should have read these reviews before walking in to this place. The worse quality lenses and frames. The frames for both my husband and my glasses started fading and blamed it on me! I put on too much product in my hair haha they will replace them but charged you for giving you a piece of crap. Stay away from here, nice people but its not worth it when you are being ripped off. In the end they get your money and wont even give you a fair refund. STAY AWAY!!!If you want crappy glasses or contacts that brake out of nowhere (inside your eye) then this is the place to go, and if you dont want your money back for the garbage you got, perfect!

I think saying my experience here was Poor-Fair is giving them too much credit. I will try to keep this simple because I could write a book about my time at this place. So, the staff is rude, insolent, inconsiderate, uneducated, condescending, arrogant, patronizing, snobbish, egotistic, argumentative... etc. I actually witnessed one employee lying to another. One girl was on a personal phone call, which I heard every word of, and when her supervisor asked who she was talking to, she made up a story about giving someone directions to their store from Elkhart. So they lie to each other, then they lie to the customers.- My glasses never turned out right after FIVE attempts. I had to take my glasses to my regular optometrist and have him check them to prove they were wrong before this place would fix them. Both pairs of glasses are very poor quality. The lenses dont fit in the frames correctly and the edges are chewed up. I did not see the eye doctor here, I brought my prescription in from my regular optometrist, so I cannot comment on the doctor. The extra charges dont make this place any cheaper than the other places. Even if you have to pay a little extra, its totally worth it. My experience here was a nightmare. I tell everyone I know not to go to here. I never did end up with a right pair of glasses. So I guess Im out almost $400. If it didnt cost so much money for a lawyer, I would definitely sue them. Be smart and take your business elsewhere!

This place is a sham. The assistant manager assured me that they would be able to fit transition lenses into my frames from my existing prescription sunglasses. Sold me the lenses for my sunglasses and a pair of reading glasses lenses. Said the transistion glasses would be done in two and a half hours and to come back for them. This was on Saturday 4/28/2018. When I went back the assistant manager said the tech couldn’t get the lenses cut right and that I would have to wait until Monday for the manager to come in and do it. I explained that I was very disappointed because the glasses I have to ware until then give me headaches and blurry vision. She apologized and said that that was all she could do. So, I waited. Now here it is Monday the 30th. I get a call from the assistant manager saying the the tech still can’t fit the lenses in my sunglasses. She asked if I wanted to wait until tomorrow when the manager comes in? He should be able to get them done. Or I could bring in a different frame. Or they would be happy to sell me a new frame. I went down to the store to ask her why she lied to me on Saturday? When she told me the manager would be in on Monday and would have them ready for me then. She said she didn’t lie. So, I asked her who was having trouble with the lenses today. She said the tech. Is asked if the manager was here today. She said no. So, you lied to me. She just said no he’ll be in tomorrow. I told her the I didn’t like being lied to and having to wait for my glasses and suffer with the headaches and blury vision. I asked for my money back and my frames. She gave me one of those mocking looks and said we don’t return money. I can give you a deal on new frames though. I asked for a number that I can call to talk to someone over her. She wrote a number down and gave it to me. I asked who’s number it was. She smerked and said it was the store number. You can call on Wednesday when the manager will be here. I said so, your lieing to me again? You said the manager would be here tomorrow. She just said is there anything else I can help you with? And smirked again. I ended up leaving frustrated, angry and down 2 of my glasses and $345.00. She is a great con artist and shamer. I have been going there for years. She is the only one I have ever had a problem with. As long as she is there. I will not go back. She is flat out a crook. If you go there, be very careful. Or you will be one of her victims.Added 1/5/2018I will be taking eyecare express to court. I have contacted my lawyer and found out that I can sue them to get my money back but, also pain and suffering, fraud and theft of my glasses. Will update when all is done.

Purchased frames a week ago, figured I would give it a week. I noticed my right eye was extra strong and the other weak. I turned my frames upside down and come to find out they put thr wrong lenses in thr wrong frame. I called to tell them and they told me, it happens I said excuse me, it shouldnt happen and I didnt pay the money I did to learn on my own the lenses were messed up! She told me to bring them in...very unsatisfied. Ive had chronic migraines since January due to an accident and this is the last thing I need. Glad I kept my old pair of glasses!!

Lets say - 2 years ago I got glasses for my kids here and they had huge scratches on them!!! They accused me of putting the scratches in them eventhough we noticed it after getting out of the car and into the Lowes store just down the street. I actually called them from Lowes!!!This last time, the doctor was great...the deals are misleading. I dont think their frames are that great a deal.Its only BOGO on the basic stuff....not the special lenses my son needs.I had a better experience at Stanton Optical....but they are just in an inconvenient location!!

My niece mom is gullible and thought that 375 was a good price and pay 25 for a warrenty that you can use once with and then you got to pay the next pair you have to pay well of Course for a 2 year old going go through alot of glasses my niece is disabled and they need to have a better deal on glasses they are rude and a total rip off i went there before and stopped caise i found a place to offer me a better deal and alot better warrenty

I went to eyecare express on 82nd Street in Indianapolis. The lady at the front desk was so rude, didnt give me and my partner any information, even though we had appointments, all she did is told us to go back to the back and fill out the paperwork. We did fill out the paperwork, but as we sat there waiting to be seen, we noticed that everyone that came in after us the lady at the front desk was nice and pleasant to...she even walked them around and showed them glasses. Needless to say, we were very upset at this time, so what we did was just got up politely and left. We called Americas Best and we both were seen within an hour and they were very pleasant and helpful. So once we returned home, we called to ask for the corporate office telephone number for eyecare express and was given the run around that they are individually owned and the manager from each location handles the complaints, so we ask to speak to the manager, but he was too busy and would call us within the hour....still waiting....so I found this website to issue a review....PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE RUDE PEOPLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!! Americas Best is much more pleasant and very helpful. These people need to get a clue on what customer service is all about, it can make you or break you....IJS

The idiots in Terre Haute started off by mixing up my sunglass lenses with my eyeglass lenses, so those had to be re-made, then due to poor quality, my eyeglass lenses kept popping out, due to all the over working that they did to them. so the techs just heated up the frames and lenses, trying to pop the lens back into the frame...Well the heat ruined my frames, and I cant even talk to them about repairs, without them threatening to call the police on me. STAY AWAY! The Buy-one get-one free is just a gimick, and the frames are very poor quality.
