Stopped here a couple years ago. Came to the conclusion that the nearest authentic Jewish Deli is back in Chicago. All the delis in the South Suburbs closed down, way before the pandemic.

Stopped by on a road trip. Place was recommended by a friend seems to be the only kosher in town. Nice little store with a tiny Deli. Had a amazing pastrami sandwich it was Romanian pastrami.Originally I had a much longer review complaining about a negative experience that I had to with a counter staff there. Since the manager responded nicely, its deleted now. Im not looking for a refund, I hope you take seriously what I had said before and worked with your staff. You have a nice little place and I hope you have great success.

The young lady working the deli counter was closing down but was kind enough to make me an excellent wrap for my dinner.

Great Reubens & pastrami sandwiches

Today was my first time trying Midwest Kosher Deli and it certainly won’t be my last! The MKD Hot Dog was hands down the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Grilled to perfection, well constructed, and topped with a mouth-watering combo of kraut and onions...you can tell their food is made with care and I already can’t wait to go back!

Great specialty grocery selection. Delicious burgers and deli sandwiches. We are really excited about the new menu and house pastrami!!! We love the grilled chicken salad with their house creamy garlic dressing. Great prices and great service. Will come again and again!

Great location and kosher food, Wine & Deli. Fantastic to have a kosher Oasis near South Bend and Elkhart. Just ate the double burger with spicy mayonnaise. The meat was Char-Broil perfectly and juicy. Burger was so thick you really needed a knife and fork to eat it.

Delicious food. Chicken Schnitzel sandwich and falafel plate!!! So good.

I will never return to this store to buy kosher items for the Jewish holidays or eat at the deli. This afternoon I needed some food items and had a sandwich. A man entered and began shopping. As he raced to the register, he shattered a bottle of wine. One of the glass shards landed on my cheek, The gentleman at the register and the deli man began to clean the floor. The impatient man was busy unloading his groceries on the counter. I motioned for him to come over where I was sitting. I asked him if I was bleeding from the glass shard and say he was sorry. He did apologize. A friend of mine helped me to my car with my groceries because I am disabled.

Really liked the pastrami and corn beef sandwiches. Lot of meat! Will be back.

The best place in Indiana for real Kosher foods and deli. The Israeli salad and hot pastrami sandwich is wonderful.

Ordered 2 potato knish, 2 cornbeef sandwiches & 2 reubens. Paid over $65. Knish were nasty. We thew them away after one bite. Cornbeef was on white bread with mayo, tough & greasy. Couldnt finish them. Reubens on white bread same thing. No pickles. Kitchen was filthy. Cooks hair was uncovered. Will never go back again. It was definitely not a kosher deli in my humble opinion.

Its a small little place but very welcoming in conveniently located.

Filling an obvious gap in Northern Indiana, MKD has most of the kosher and import products that are overlooked by chains. The deli is superb!

Very expensive $35. 00 for 2 sandwiches that came with only a pickle wedge. No chips or French fries. And the sandwiches were small. NEVER AGAIN!
