Im very happy with the work I got done. I went through the service department instead of the sales department and was provided excellent service. Being from out of state and having never lived in this climate they hooked me up with what I needed at a reasonable price.My only caveat, and I was tempted to lower it to four stars, is that they need more staff because it seems as though one person is responding to all phone calls and most customer service, even though there are others working. They need a bit more organization and a lot more space. Theyre getting enough business now that they would probably benefit from an office manager whos willing to delegate responsibility. Other than that Im happy with the service I got

I had a surprisingly excellent experience working with Vermont Tire and Service. Not only did they fit me in very last minute, they were extremely courteous, competent and helpful. These guys are so busy it was crazy but they still took the time to keep me informed and make sure I was all set. The alignment was dead on and the tire balance feels smooth!I will plan to be back!

I have been using Vt Tire for many years for both tires and service. They are absolutely the best! Of course they do excellent work, but more important is that they are honest. I have always trusted their recommendations for service needed. The guys in the office are friendly and efficient although very busy. With regard to tire purchases I have found that they try to recommend what I actually need, not the most expensive they carry. I am happy to have them in business in the area.

Only place in the area that was able to patch my tire same day. Dropped it off in the morning and it was done within a couple hours. Didn’t try to up-charge or upsell when I paid & reiterated the fact that if they can avoid replacing a tire by repairing it they always will. Appreciated this and will return for my snow tires.

Although a little wait due to not having an appointment..... But great service by all the guys in the garage and office..they replaced the parts I needed and inspected my vehicle and explained the process along the way.. Decent prices as well.. Thanks guys keep up the good work!!

I would have left 5 stars but when I left the parking lot the day my new tires were put on and got on the interstate my steering wheel started to shake really bad. So I called and they had me bring it back in and discovered my front left tire was never collaborated or balanced. Not good since I was driving to NY the next day. Also, my experience with one of the front desk guys was less than pleasant. He made me feel like I didnt know what I was saying and never apologized for me having to bring my car back after they had it all day. They also wanted to charge me $4 per tire to dispose of my old ones. One would think they would have waived that after the error they made.I was never upset about the situation even though it took up two hours of my time away from from job which I had to make up. Just a simple Im sorry would have been nice.The kid that fixed the tire was the only one who apologized to me.

I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I am so Thankful for this place. They took me right in. If it wasnt for them I could have been on the side of the road stuck. Every employee there treated you like theyve known you forever, a very welcoming place. The pricing was amazing, I am a single mom and pricing always matters when you are a one income house hold. I live in Randolph and was in Burlington for the day with appointments and errands. I ran over something and my tire light went on. When stopped I heard the tire hissing and googled a tire shop near me and lucked out! Nick at the front desk was on it, I hit a piece of metal, tire not repairable, they had one in stock at their warehouse, the tire was obtained, put on and I was out the door in about 50 min. I Made my next appointment without a problem. Thanks Nick and the whole team my experience was amazing!

It paid to get in early, before the snow tire rush. Drove in with no appointment, experienced friendly and prompt service, drove out a short time later with 4 tires mounted and a guarantee of great free followup service: free flat repair and tire rotation.

We had a tire issue and within an hour and a half we had a new tire at a reasonable price installed. Made it back to NY with no issues. Appreciated the prompt and good service.

I would give 6 stars if I could. I wish I knew about Vermont Tire & Service sooner! I have been taking my 4WD truck to a dealership for regular maintenance for the last 2.5 years, but as soon as I set up an alignment appointment with VTT&S, they diagnosed a suspension issue that could’ve cost me way more if it went on any longer. The techs are friendly and super knowledgeable, and Nick, the service manager, explained everything in perfect layman’s terms in addition to bringing me out to the garage to visually show me the issue while the truck was up on the lift. Also, worked quickly to get the parts I needed so I’m back on the road ASAP. Sincere thanks, all. Best service I’ve ever received at any shop.

Service was great and friendly. They helped me choose snow tires that were appropriate for the way I drive.

I took my boyfriend’s car to his alignment appointment at 11. We also asked them to check the tires to make sure they were balanced after he got brand new tires put on that Monday. I was told it would take 1 to 1.5 hours so I was waiting around the area. Close to the 1.5 hour mark I asked one of the employees how it was going and I was informed the team was on their lunch break until 12:30 and they wouldn’t be done until 1. As someone who works in customer service too, I found it extremely disappointing to not be updated during my wait and that they could not finish up before taking a break for lunch. I was there for nearly 2 hours and honestly don’t even know if the tires got balanced because I just needed to leave at that point.

Vermont Tire & Service is the best. The night before we were getting ready to drive home from our vacation, the tire pressure light came on. I put air in the tire but the next morning the pressure had dropped significantly. I called around and the guys at Vermont Tire said they could take care of it right away. They repaired the tire in about 30 and we were on our way. I can’t thank them enough.

I visited other tire centers and they were not helpful at all, I was told i had to buy 4 new tires and was told i could only drive my donut for 50 miles.It was very nice to speak with a customer service front desk attendant who was honest and understood my issue. Driving from Massachusetts to Burlington to pick up my son and all his dorm possessions in the minivan, one day up and back, I hit something in the road just south of Burlington, right front blew but run flat tires allowed me to limp over to Vermont Tire and Service. Apparently runflat tires are in short supply up there and they bent over backwards to express one over, mounted and changed within a couple of hours. The service desk was amazingly accommodating and empathetic and as far as I’m concerned did everything in their power to get me up and running once again. Thanks again!KPM

Excellent tire shop!On recent trip from Albany felt very slight pull to the right. Stopped in at VTS to seek advice. They suggested swapping fronts to opposite sides (staggered and non directional) and even though the shop was very busy they got it done in under 30mins and sent me on my way.It did the trick!If I lived closer Id use them for all my future tire needs.Friendly, professional and they know their business!

Vermont Tire has handled my snow tires for the past two seasons, and I was generally happy with their services. However, this year, they called when they had my car and told me I needed new brakes, and quoted me over $800 for the job. The problem was that I had my brakes changed 6 weeks prior at my regular mechanic. I figured that maybe one of the pads was faulty, and since they were still under warranty I brought the car back to the mechanic who changed the brakes. He didn’t see any reason why someone could suggest that my car needed new brakes, and even brought me into the garage when he had my car on the lift to show me each brake and rotor so that I could see they were fine. So, be wary if you use Vermont Tire, I personally won’t be going back.

So I must put another rating down for vermont tire. So a gf of a man works there . Lets say Tyler got booted from his home for slapping up his old lady, I happened to be the guy who got to keep said gf warm in bed, he slashed her tires and well it was fitting to bring the car to him to have him do the work included. So while he didnt get paid w love, he paid with sweat . Haha well so did I 😅 just not the same time . Sorry Tyler we all lose when negativity ensue.

First visit and I was a bit nervous trusting anybody with my brand new Tesla, but they told me they have special rubber pads on their lift and that itll be fine.Well, luckily it was fine.They didnt damage anything on the car, bagged up the old tires before putting them in my trunk, and had my car ready in just a few hours (I dropped off without a proper appointment/time slot) so I must say, Im pretty happy overall.The only critique I can give them is that whoever was at the counter when I came to pay and pick my car up, I was told that two of my tires are worn (I dont recall whether he said especially worn or severely worn) and that, well, its a high-torque vehicle. Vermont Tire provided exceptional service after a recent pothole encounter resulting in a blown tire and bent rim.They examined the wheel and determined it was repairable saving me a lot of money.When the replacement tire arrived the tire tread pattern was not a match. Safety and performance dictated that VT needed to reorder the tire and they remounted it at their expense.This customercentric service has made Vermont Tire my go to tire store fo all my future tire business.

Dave and Nick were both very helpful. The car had bigger problems than I was expecting, but they walked me through everything. I thought the price was very fair and the had the work done very quickly.

These guys are the best great service and great prices.

Though the price of tires was the best I found in the area, the service was poor. I had an appointment and was told two hours. After two hours, I received a call wondering where my car was in the lot (I had shown them upon drop off it was right in front). They then said they couldn’t find the tires. Total wait time was 3.5 hours. Upon paying, not even an “we apologize for the wait and confusion”. I realize it’s a crazy time of year for them, but I feel like a bit more understanding would have been nice.

Very happy with my service at VT Tire in South Burlington as usual. I came in with a large bolt punctured through a new Nokian tire and they got me in as a walk in and shortly later I was out the door with a patched tire and rebalanced wheel. It’s still holding pressure as expected a couple weeks later. I enjoy taking my business there.

Good prices on tires and good selection. Customer service in the Tire Dept is hectic and can be pretty rude/ hostile if youre served by the taller older guy at the front desk. But Tom at the front desk in Tire Sales is excellent, professional, helpful and polite - a shining star here. The work of their Auto Repair Dept is amateurish.
