4:00 in the afternoon isles completely blocked off. Employees constantly blocking isles with trash cans and pallets.

My mother has been going to this Walmart ever since it opened. She does her grocery shopping here EVERY Monday religiously. She uses her own reusable cloth grocery bags because she is very earth conscious. She’s been very pleased up until the last couple of visits. There are a couple of checkers on Mondays who refuse to bag her groceries for her. Today the excuse was because “the bag is too floppy”. There are hooks on the bag to assist in the loading of her groceries. She’s elderly and can’t do self check very well and depends on the help of the cashiers to help her bag her weekly groceries. One cashier bagged all of the groceries in plastic bags and told my mother to put them in her reusable bags herself which defeats the whole purpose. Just hoping that a manager at this location can have a discussion with the cashiers about doing their part and helping our planet and the elderly.

Went in to get oil change and car battery. Everyone was very helpful. Work was done very quickly. Very pleased. Highly recommend this auto center.

Good place to find great clearance items.

I love the ability to pick up groceries and spend my valuable time doing other things.

Found a ton of stuff I wanted as far as sum back to school typed items. Wow they were quite costly. The clearance area had things marked for clearance but the when rang up It was reg price, on 4 different items which seemed a little fishy

Found what I needed no problem, but this location is always a bit messy and disorganized.

I am able to go and get what I need. Them store is never overcrowded and they checkout is quick. It seems to be cleaner than some of the other stores I have been in.

Store is clean and organized. Seems smaller than some Walmarts, so they might not have every item you are looking for.

When you dont want to buy bulk, buy from Walmart. Great selection of essentials, school supplies, and fresh groceries.

Certainly is changing as a customer service oriented store. Becoming standard to have one full service checker for every 18 to 25 customers with the idea of encouraging more of us to self check. I was told this directly by an employee. I do understand the cost vs customer ratio to help control rising employee costs and rising inflation. Im just not sure how I feel about watching disabled or less abled customers not have a choice 🤔 about how much service or help they need. Surely there has to be a reasonable compromise.

Worst employees I have ever!!! I called to order from the deli and the association answer the phone was rude and nasty. I told her that I was trying to get ahold of the deli and before I could say another word she put me on eternal hold. Came back one time and yelled in the phone”let me try again!” I was trying to let her know that I had been told earlier that the deli phone wasn’t working and wanted her to send me to the bakery. She wouldn’t give me 2 seconds to ask anything. I am beyond frustrated and now no one will answer at all.

Ordered online. Order is lost in shipping with no record of it visible to employees. I couldn’t get a refund online for some silly reason but in person I got one at customer service with zero hassle.

Its a store where you can find everything, I love it! every week Im there! good prices and great quality.

Came in at 9:20 pm to buy 2 disposable cameras. no employee was around at the moment so my sister and i waited by photos then went over to electronics to find someone. multiple employees passed us by and didn’t say anything. they called over the intercom twice for someone to come help and still, employees passed us by and no one stopped or even acknowledged us. thanks to the two people who called for assistance but it’s been 25 minutes and we haven’t been helped. i understand it’s late but what excuse is that.

Convenient location, I can quickly shop and get groceries done. There’s growing amounts of beggars/panhandlers though, I’ve noticed.

This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. I had a terrible experience with their customer service team. I bought a pack of raw chicken and it wasn’t until I got home and opened it that the smell enveloped our house. It was beyond rotten and smelt so horrible I took it out to the trash outside immediately. It stunk up are entire house with a very strong odor.I called the store and asked for a refund, but they said the only way they could refund it was to bring it back. I explained that I threw it away because the stench was so terrible. They said I should package it up and bring it back. It would have left my car smelling like that for weeks! It was hard enough to get the smell out of my house.I had receipt, but they said there was nothing they could do for me. I asked if I could have in store credit or ANYTHING and they said no.What terrible customer service and horrible that chicken that far gone would be placed out with a expiration date several days after I opened it.Note: the chicken was opened immediately after getting home because I was going to cook it for dinner.

Only carry cheap brands, to be expected but was hoping to find higher quality foods/groceries

They never answer the phone it just rings for 10 min and ends the call. My mobile orders gone I tried calling the store but nobody picked up. 3rd time this has happened.

This location was pretty clean, organized, and the staff was friendly. Produce seemed fresh and they had everything we went in for. Their prices were nice as always and they had some decent deals with their inventory. Would certainly come here again.

I had issues with a little short latino manager. She was in the back for a very very long time while I waited. When she arrived, she spoke down to me and showed no concern for question. She spoke English but had a very dismissing attitude. If the store wasnt so close to my home, I would never shop there again. Also, the return policy is misadvertised. Dont believe the big sign behind the return counter.

I stopped in to ship a core back. The Fed Ex place inside Walmart was easy to find and quick with customer service once they realized I was there.

2 check out lanes open at 4 pm typically not a big deal for me but today Dale the Walmart associate was moving really really slow. Yes, he was old and we were all trying to be patient with him. I was perfectly fine with it, no rush for me. I felt like I wanted to do something nice for him and as a kind gesture gave him $40 in cash. Now I normally dont write reviews but he yelled what the hell do you want me to do with this? I kindly said put it in your pocket. Normally when someone does something nice for someone a simple smile would do but he did nothing. I wondered if he put the money back so I tried to call the local number 4 times to talk to an assoociate to make sure Dale actually put the money in his pocket. No one answered and I probably lost $40 to a grump old man. I thought I was being nice. Long story short, I dealt with a long line, a grumpy unappreciated old man, no customer service support and out $40 trying to be nice to Dale.

This is for sure the cleanest Walmart I’ve been to. It’s probably due to the fact that it’s in south Jordan but I don’t mind that this one has the best service and better staff members that will take time to help you. Other Walmart’s should take a page from the playbook of this store manager and model their trainings after this store. This store definitely breaks the stigma that Walmart’s are gross and disgusting.

This is now the 2nd time I have tried to get help in this store. The 1st time was in fabric to get a yard off of 2 different bolts. We talked to 8 employees that were going to get us help.Tonight, July 13th, we found 4 games we wanted. Probably about $300 was going to be spent since they were the only store that had all 4 in the area. Asked this guy who went on his 15 minute break, he didnt have keys. Went up front, the manager Lupe was nowhere to be found. So after trying to call the store & electronics, I went to the other 2 walmarts that actually had 2 of each of the 4 in stock.If Im not asking anyone for help in the store, I can get in & out in 30 minutes. But dont bother their employees, they all look doped up & annoyed if you ask for help.This is probably why I only go to Walmart if there is something to do with price to save money, never to do w anything else. So itll be another 2-3 months before going into another one, but never this store again if I need something special from an area. If its not grab & go...Ill go somewhere else.

They are having some computer issues so it took a little longer than usual to get the order taken care of but I hey let me know and once the computer was back up everything went smoothly. Food was great and my concrete mixer was absolutely delicious.

I totally love this place. Youllget the look your going for. Just tell them what you want.

Need better hours and need more cleaning and when there today and every looked dirty floors windows. Hours when are you going back to 24 hour at least open up at 6am so us graveyard shift worker can get are food without waiting.

📣This has got to be the cleanest Walmart Ive ever been in in my life. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One time I could not find something. So the closest employee to ask was the meanest looking guy in the store. Help me find my stuff and which one of the greatest Associates I think Ive ever came across. It just goes to show you you cant judge a book by its cover. But somehow Walmart has hired the best. And as a result they are the best.💯

Unless something is drastically wrong with a particular Walmart store I usually rate the store 5 stars. The reason(s) are simple...consistency, low prices, quality, ease of parking. My only complaint recently is having to check out my own items....self-serve checkout is dumb, boring, tiresome and lines are usually long and the system is cumbersome. Younger generation get used to it...old fashioned checkout is going by the wayside. WalMart does not care about your inconvienience . All I can say is they must have built in a huge theft compensation into pricing because I see it everytime I go into the self-checkout. In my mind Im wondering if their trade-off of stolen items is worth the cut in wages by getting rid of check-out clerks. Just my observation. I am choosing now to go to real grocery and department stores rather than battle the Walmart check-out burden. Its their profit margins so we have no say. Poor service will lose every time.

I dont like the smaller Walmart Supercenters. Riverton Walmart is Larger and has more Cereal from which to choose.

I came in to customer service to do a Walmart 2 WalMart transaction, and after my transaction was done my receipt printed out and got jammed leaving out the reference number I needed. The employee there did everything possible to help me out. He did so much and a manager was brought over as well and he even helped me contact the money transfer people and helped me get my information back so I could get my reference number. This all took an hour, and he stayed the whole time I think he even skipped his break so he could help me. He was kind enough to give my son a ball when he got impatient and was so professional and very nice about the whole thing. I have shopped at Walmart for years and Ive never considered leaving a review until today, if more employees could be like AIDEN, then Walmarts customer satisfactory would definitely jump up. Someone give this kid a raise or a gift card or something lol anyways if I could rate this with more than 5 stars I definitely would. Once again thank you so much to Aiden for the expierience :)

Has everything a walmart has. Not much more I can say about this location in comparison to other locations. Plenty of self checkouts near both entrances for convenience. Sometimes the home and pharmacy doors are locked, though it seems that hasnt happened for a few weeks. Good location right off bangerter.

Produce is always garbage. Everything else is, meh.

Wasted 40 minutes of my time waiting for someone to help me while several employees passed me and didn’t acknowledge me. asked the door greeter to speak to a manager and he said “i have no idea, i don’t know what goes on here. i just stand at the door.” i had to knock on the manager’s office door myself and she was not enthused to help me at all. was told “i don’t know what to tell you.” what manager doesn’t have keys for their store’s departments? rudest and worst experience i’ve ever had there.

Needed some balloons to fill out ended up buying helium tank and balloons

Im going out of the country where there are many infectious insects. I needed a specific insecticide recommended by the health department that this store had that other stores would have to special order. I didnt have a week needed for delivery. It was a lovely store besides having what I needed.

Their website says they have kiddie pools and I drove 20 minutes out here to get one. They don’t. The part I’m really frustrated about tho is that both my husband and I have been trying to reach them for 3-4 hours on the phone and none of their departments answered, the phone just rang and rang and not one department ever picked up. 30+ calls placed, not a single answered.Also noticed the store inventory is very disorganized and it looks like nobody goes through and puts things back in place.

Clean and organized. The beef roast was 7.49 a pound...yikes! We had to go with chicken.

Shelves are never stocked. You get use to a product and next time or 2 or 3 they dont have it. Always hard to find a treetop on the floor to ask questions. Not enough cashiers. Clothes are terrible and never enough selection.

What you would expect from a Walmart

This Wal-mart, for some reason, seems easier to get in & out of than others. Its a smaller store so once in a while, they dont have an item the bigger Wal-marts have, but I can find most of what I need here & its great. I like the prices & convenient location.

As a current Walmart worker, I made the mistake to come to the South Jordan Walmart and shop. It was the worst experience ever! The associates are so rude and then every single associate has headphones on!! Which in our company isn’t tolerated. I had an interaction with an associate by the toys section and I was talking to myself saying that the store was pretty low on merchandise and she told me to leave the store and stop complaining? Like wow that was super harsh. I was looking for a manager but they were no where to be found. I hope this Walmart does something about their rude associates. We’re here to help customers and expand the company not be rude!

Running lean on items may not be their fault.

Tried doing online pick up and we sat in our car for 2 hrs before they finally brought us our stuff. And no matter how many times we tried calling in to speak to someone they kept sending us to voicemail. Plus they never give us everything we ordered and they end up substituting items with things that aren’t even the same item we ordered. And their produce is often moldy/going bad. Highly recommend not shopping at this Walmart. Maybe it’s just this location but I recommend going to Harmon’s or a different location.

Came to this location 2 hours before closing to get film for a camera and asked four people to help me unlock the case it was in, and every single one of them blew me off, and when i asked the shift lead, guadalupe for help, she blew me off as well. ended up asking three more people including guadalupe and she told me that she didn’t know if anyone could help me because she was unwilling to stop chatting to an associate and use her keys to unlock the case for me. very disappointed, took my business to target down the road and i recommend you all do the same. step up your customer service game.

Always a great experience shopping here! Only bad thing today was a grouchy loud lady trying to blame a lack of cashiers for her running late! I witnessed her shopping slow and talking on the phone the entire time! She just couldnt stand to be 2nd in line! They were nice enough to open a register just for her!! Queen for a hot minute at register 2! She should try the online grocery pickup! Cashiers handled the situation professionally!!!

Pretty nice, this walmart has a jewelry section and when you have ladies in your life and a not so generous budget its a great place to find decent items.
