I really enjoyed the plant-based / vegan ice cream options here. My friend got the Oreo ice cream and thought it was really good (if youve had the brand so delicious its very similar). I got the cake which was also tasty. I would just recommend that they dont do the fruit filling since it doesnt melt at the same pace as the ice cream and made the whole thing rather difficult to eat; I ended up just using my hands. Overall though tasty and very much appreciate the vegan options! 💕

The ice cream at this place is amazing. Just the promise of it allowed me to get my friends children to actually listen and do about 30% of the things I asked them to do. They even stopped fighting and running out into the street for about 15 minutes while they ate the ice cream. Plus I got myself a huge double cone which felt totally justified since I would clearly makes such an amazing parent if I ever had kids. I now feel comfortable offering unsolicited advice to parents about how to better control their annoying kids. The secret? Promises of ice cream.

Icecream at the beach had always been my fantasy since I grew up far away from a beach. During my Tahoe visit, I came across this cute little icecream shop right across the street from El Dorado beach!They offer a great variety of flavours in cups and cones. Its more than just a regular icecream shop with a lot to try out.We tried Rainbow Sherbet and Mocha Almond. What a mind blowing experience! Mocha is kind of a coffee plus chocolate flavour with the right amount of sweetness. Rainbow Sherbet felt like out of this world. Must try! The texture was different, not sure what its made of but it would surely leave you craving for more. ❤

The ice cream is made on site using fresh natural ingredients. And you can taste the difference. Wed been planning to buy ice cream at the supermarket, but it wouldnt compare. Instead we bought a pint of Alohas and will enjoy it tomorrow. This place is special!

Their vegan/ plant based rolled ice cream was AMAZING. Hands down the best vegan ice cream I’ve had in the last few years since being vegan. The service was great! And the ice cream was well worth the wait!!!

Stopped here because it was close to where we were staying. The service was not great to begin with and when I went to pay, the person taking our order asked if I had any cash rather than a credit card. I paid with cash and of course did not get a receipt. The ice cream was... well it ended up in the trash. My kiddo liked his scoop of chocolate, thus the 2 star instead of 1.

I had a cone with salted caramel and mint chocolate chip ice cream and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious.

Tried rolled ice cream for the first time and it was delicious! Got the vanilla with strawberries. They also have regular scooped ice cream and shakes, chocolate dipped Bananas and a home made brownie Sunday. This week is really busy in Tahoe because of 4th of July so there was a line out the door and we waured about 20 minutes but worth the wait!

Don’t waist your time to go on this place. They don’t let you taste the ice cream before you buy it and once you order the game is over. We order a coconut flavor and it taste horrible and the lady there was not polite. Zero stars for customer services. Zero star for the flavors. Zero star for the higiene.I had to give one star for post this review but the truth is, zero stars for everything.

The ice cream was very average, nothing special! Got the double scoop cookie dough ice cream and there was only 3 pieces of cookie dough in it. Wasn’t the most friendly either. Great location though right across from the lake. Husband got the strawberry cheesecake ice cream, strawberry flavor was very artificial.

Chocolate banana is so frozen you cant eat it. Also the shakes are more like milk. When I came back to explain in the kindest way I could that the chocolate banana is not edible because it is soo frozen the gentleman behind the counter said you complained twice get out of my store.I complained because the shake was soupy and the banana was so frozen I couldnt eat it.

Delicious!! Got ice cream here and then walked down the road to this view!! It’s right across the street from Lake Tahoe and a bike trail. My husband got a chocolate covered banana and loved it and I got one scoop waffle cone ice cream. We will definitely be back!

They have standard and rolled, and some of the flavors are advertised as vegan.Same excellent ice cream as last year, and theyve added rolled ice cream which is interesting texture and excellent flavor (the It Takes Two To Mango had strong mango flavor).

The mask mandate does not give you the right to discriminate against handicap people. My deaf daughter was,almost brought to tears by the insensivity of your staff. I will never buy ice cream from your store again. Additionally I would urge any of my veteran brothers and sisters to not buy from this place

Your basic ice cream shop. It used to be a 31 flavors but now its changed hands. Pretty easy to find on hwy. 50, next door to Freshes, and in that little mall. Its also close to Safeway just down the highway. The ice cream is decent, but it is not Häagen-Dazs.

The location is very nice, across the way from the lake. But the ice cream is not particularly tasty... It tastes quite watery. Also we had to wait 5-10min to get our cups of ice cream and the lady who served us wasnt really nice. Personally, I wouldnt go again.

This place is a total gem. Theres a large assortment of ice cream flavors..my personal fav is the mint chip with a house-made waffle cone. Service is prompt and friendly + theres a bunch of rad local art hanging up, which really adds to the overall vibe. 13/10 would recommend!

The younger lady dropped my ice cream on the floor and tried to pick it up real fast and act like nothing happened i asked if i can get a new one she gave me attitude. I ask for a refund she said read the sign which says no refunds. Even the other customers look at her like really. Never again will i go there

Asked for a little more syrup on the rolled mud pie since last time it had a good amount but they wanted to charge an extra $.75... really we already paid $8 for it and want charge for a little more syrup when there was little to no syrup.

Great place for a sweet treat. We got rolled ice cream and it was a fun spin to having ice cream. It was wonderful! Service was a bit off but fitting for the atmosphere.

Ice cream was just okay. Had the mud pie. It was rolled ice cream. Chocolate peanut butter. Bland for the name. Took 20 minutes after 15 minute Stand in line. I asked (politely) if the had forgotten my order. They were pretty doooshy about my ask. I even gave them a 15% tip. Derrrrr... I felt duped. They are the only game next to the lake. Drive by, most any of the others are just as good. But hey if you want to get ripped off, dig in.

Great ice cream parlor in close proximity to the beach. Over a dozen choices in ice cream flavors. Noticed they had ice cream cake as well. Ample indoor seating, however, not much if any outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable. One scoop in a cup is plenty!

We got the mud pie vegan rolled ice cream and a chocolate dipped banana. Both were great, but the vegan rolled ice cream was awesome, one of the best vegan desserts weve had! They were very friendly even though we came in right at the end of the day and they even showed us how they made the rolled ice cream. We had a great time, thank you!

Had a bad experience I really liked this place in the past, recently visited in July 2019 and the experience was horrible probably the worst customer service I’ve seen in a very very long time. Buyer beware you will have to pay for your order even if it is made incorrectly, the ice cream never left the shop and he charged after us when we didn’t want the order because it was made not how we wanted! So we just left the store because why would we want to pay for a item that we don’t even want? He ran out to the car screaming and we gave him $10 just so he would go away! I was terrified!

Locally made ice cream and treats across the street from the lake. The ice cream is pretty good and made from a local creamerie however it can be a little bit pricey. It is worth the trip if you are craving a cone and you can go right across the street with your cones/treats and enjoy the beach and the Lake. They also have a few bakery/pastry items on occasion too.
