We’re in Lake Tahoe and we got a room with a kitchenette. Can I just say - this whole food saved our life! The vegan options at Lake Tahoe are very limited. And they have nothing more than a couple sandwiches and smoothies. Not to mention it’s all extremely expensive. But thanks to this Whole Foods we were able to eat like kings. There’s a host of entrees with fake meats, Mac cheese, rice, and even vegan sushi. Of course the standard fruits and vegetables are fresh as always. Thank you Whole Foods for making this our most well-fed vacation!

Im sure its wonderful, but iv never been. Im usually at the Mexican food place across the parking lot andif I miss my turn ill check out the sugar pine bakery... both are excellent choices over whole foods unless you need toilet paper or fancy soap.

They heavy set lady at the customer service desk on 2/16 at around 11:45 has absolutely zero customer service skills. Ive always disliked wholefoods and was only in there for an amazon return. But after todays experience I will absolutely never return to this location and will be instructing others to steer clear!

Excellent Whole Foods location!! The staff does a great job of maintaining covid compliance regulations and is very nice. The food we ordered for our dinner was fantastic and the instructions easy to follow. Also had a very broad range of items for our grocery shop. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. 5/5

It’s a lovely store, there’s no deli or bakery. You can buy sandwiches from the fridge.

Uses less plastic than Safeway!! Always been a fan of whole foods. Prices arent as crazy as Id imagined, pretty standard like other upscale groceries markets. Great selection of fresh fruit & vegetables - perfect for a quick homemade salad during your staycation at Lake Tahoe. They have a decent wine selection as well to top off the evening with views of the lake! Beats takeout & call ahead dining reservations for mediocre food. Eat healthy, live better!

Whole Foods is always a great place to shop and get the extra special things other stores dont offer.

I like the store, not very crowded at this location. They have very good produce and a good selection of organically grown fruits and vegetables. The little mall its in has a few other shops as well. There is a 5 guys hamburger joint thats pretty good, and a Panda Express as well. If you want to pay your cable bill, there is a Spectrum store too.

Out of stock of almost everything and what they did have was sell by that same day or the next. Well skip this location in the future and stick to reno.

Very courteous and professional staff. Weather affected stocking of products and instead of just the status quo day, the staff cleaned the store spotless.

I was trying to return a few unopened items that I picked up 2 days before and I had the receipt with me. When I walked in, I asked this worker named Russell where I could return the items. He said “oh no did you overbuy?” I said yes, he then proceeded to tell me “Well, I won’t accept those.” I was confused because I have definitely returned items to different Whole Foods for “overbuying.” I was surprised and I replied with “wait, what?” He leaned in about two inches away from my face and raised his voice in the most condescending tone possible said “I DON’T ACCEPT OVERBOUGHT ITEMS.” Not only was he rude, but he blatantly ignored the social distancing policy to do so. Anyway, don’t expect much from here

Love Whole Foods. All organic and fresh, you cant beat that. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful every time. A little pricey at times for my budget but overall very good.

Extremely great costumer service. Food quality was not great. Got a salad from the grab and go area and it was not fresh. Also have gotten salmon twice and is wasn’t super fresh and was fishy tasting. I love Whole Foods and am a little disappointed in the quality of this particular store.

Yes, SOME items are more expensive, but if you are Prime, you get big discounts, plus 5% if you use the Amex Amazon Card, and excellent service. Not for everyday shopping, but I go for unique foods.

My favorite grocery store in South Lake Tahoe, with fresh vegetables and fruits. The meats look vivid and I often get Parmagiano Reggiano here. A little pricey but it is a significant upgrade in quality.

I love this store. We heard a lot of rumors that it was very pricey but we found it the opposite. If you already shop for natural and organic foods you will find a good selection here for a good price in comparison to other stores in the area. Its especially worth it if you are an amazon prime member because you get even better discounts on a lot of things.

Ive been here 5x now and the cashier que is super long every time with 5+ customers waiting on 1 cashier, attitude reeks of arent we special. Ill go down to Carson City trader joes from now on.

Worst whole foods Ive ever been seen. Food bar is always cold. Pizza recipe different, and well; its bad. Every buffet item is borderline cold. Pizza is cold. Breakfast is cold. No Bakery.This is one of the first stores Whole Foods opened under Amazon. Clearly management had a concept idea to push costs down, and test its customers and it shows. Everything is measurably worse.In the world of grocery stores, its not even average I would say. For the brand of Whole Foods; its awful. Stunningly bad. Just on first glance; something is wrong.But, its so bad, there are no lines, which is great for South Lake! Every grocery store is packed, come here if you hate standing in lines.

This location is great, they keep it super clean, are friendly. It makes me feel safe to shop there.

Ordered our Thanksgiving meal from this location as we were spending the week in Tahoe. It was the most stressful experience I’ve had at a grocery store! Aside from the chaos and disorganization, my order was wrong... Very disappointing Thanksgiving experience.Social distancing was also a concern as the store was jam packed.

I’ve been waiting for this store to open for two years. Now I don’t have to drive to Reno to buy good wholesome food. Fresh organic meats and produce, great selections of healthy staples. It’s Whole Foods as you know them right in S. Tahoe. I only wish they were available on Instacart.

Cashier at checkout was holding me waited talking to the customer for a while. Looks like she got cut into conversation so she forgot to sanitize the line. When I had to ask her to sanitize the register as per thief COVID protocol, she gave “the look”. Looks like this store does not follow the COVID protocol-you have to ask for it.

So happy they are (finally) open, but equally bummed that the management didn’t think to order sufficient Thanksgiving meals. We had driven into Reno last year, and were hoping to avoid the drive this year (after they were over a year late in opening). Sadly, a week ahead of time wasn’t enough for them to accommodate. So, make sure you order yours with plenty of advanced notice!!

Such a small store with no deli??? Really?? I mean come on all the other whole foods have an awesome deli but this store has more of a liquor and beer selection then anything else.
