Excellent customer service experience . I was just looking for a new card but the manager on duty was able to get me set up and connected in short order without me having to personally deal with Verizon customer service.

I purchased a new phone from this GoWireless retailer in South Lyon about a week and a half ago - traded in my Apple phone for a Samsung. I was told I had 14 days to return the new phone if I wasnt happy with the Samsung. Well, I didnt like the Samsung at all. Too Confusing and it kept sticking on some screens. So, I went up to the GoWireless in South Lyon last Tuesday to trade it for something else. The sign on the door said they were open until 6pm. It was 4:30 when I got there and the door was locked. So I went home and called their number and got some representative from their main headquarters. I told him what happened and said he would send a message to the store manager of the South Lyon store to get in touch with me. She never called me. So, last Friday around 4pm I went there again. They were open. I waited until 5:10pm for the representative there to finish up with the customer ahead of me. Only one person working there. He told me I couldnt return my phone and get a different phone unless I added another line to my account. WHAT??? Well it was clear that he had no idea what he was doing. Then he tried doing something on his computer saying well let me see . . . . And then miraculously his computer froze up! And he said he couldnt do anything for me. So I wasted two hours of my time just to have to deal with some incompetent representative! He said he would be there on Saturday from 12-6pm. I went up there again on Saturday and they were closed. Needless to say I was fit to be tied! So I called another Go Wireless in Plymouth and spoke to this lovely lady named Kee. She was very pleasant - told me no problem she could exchange my phone. I was in and out of there in about 45 minutes with a new phone. I feel the store in South Lyon needs to refund me any re-stocking fees I paid and compensate me for all the wasted time they cost me. I will never again go to this circus of a retailer!
My husband and I had been dreading the whole phone buying upgrade, but Rob was fantastic. He was patient and understanding with our lack of knowledge. He is my number one guy! Thank you so much for all your time in helping us purchase the phones needed and having to repeat a lot to us so we understood. He treated us like we were his parents not knowing anything about this process. Definitely recommend this store and ROB!

Buyer beware. Don’t waste your time with this place. Go to a regular Verizon store. They will charge additional fees that regular stores don’t charge. You won’t find out until you’ve paid your bill and they won’t refund your money if you ask unless you pay a restock fee. If I could give zero stars I would. Additionally, once you post a poor review online you’ll get a canned answer response about how sorry they are to hear this and to contact them so they can learn more. I have called and email the GM and have yet to hear anything back. I did take my business to then Verizon in Ann Arbor where the customer service was first class.

Today I received a prompt courteous knowledgeable and patient service from Rico Preston and Victor. All three were very patient and considerate and had lots of good ideas to solve my problems which consisted of a Sim card issue just felt real genuine and it felt like they had the knowledge and capability to help me I was please with the service today it was excellent

Exercise extreme caution if buying from this location. They are not an OFFICIAL Verizon store.I ordered an upgrade phone for $199, same price as online. I verified at the store that the price is the same. Got a call at home an hour later. Oh, it is $50 more than stated. I told them to cancel the order. I will just order online for the original price. thanks for wasting my time.Order online!!!

We have been to this store a number of times and have never found anyone that can help us. We either get directed to a corporate store or given the customer service number. After 5 attempts at this location we will never go back. This is definitely not what you expect from a Verizon store.

We were at the Verizon store in South Lyon, the two young gentlemen there were more than helpful. If you ever need a phone dont go any place else but South Lyon Verizon.

I went into the store today to get my new phone set up. Preston was very pleasant and helpfull, got me in and out in a short period of time. Very good experience.JuyJ upgraded my phone on Febuary 2, got talked into buying a case so I wouldnt have to pay the $20.00 fee, was told if I bought their case at the ridiculous price of $49.85 the deductible would be waived if something happened to the phone and I had to register it. Why a flaming nightmare trying to register it, they want screenshots, serial numbers etc. I have to register using my computer, I dont know how to y all this stuff. Will never get talked into that again. I upgraded my phone and I still cant by they charge $20.00 for that, last time I wasnt charged. Next time will go somewhere else.

I had to come change my review, because the new staff at this place IS SCUM. My husband and I upgraded our phones in August and were told a specified amount our bill would be. Lets just say dude LIED his ass off to sell us new phones. Supposed to be buy 1 get 1 free, NOPE. Supposed to have upgraded to unlimited for cheaper, NOPE. My bill was almost $600 this month. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon this morning thankfully they fixed it. But homie you might want to start looking for a new job because your scamming customers, talking badly about other customers in front of us, talking badly about your coworkers in front of us, playing pokemon while having a line of people to wait on, and general unprofessionalism has been reported. We now understand why you had so many pissed off people in and out of the store during the FOUR HOURS it took you to set our new phones up.
