Great place to take your car. Very knowledgeable.

My poor mother came here and was taken advantage of cause shes just so sweet and trusting. I would give zero stars if possible. She went in and they took 2 hours longer than they said they would when she went in for a leaky tire. They then striped out the bolt, lost a center cap to her rim, ripped the bead of her they then told her it was unsafe to drive now and put her spare on then quoted her $1200 for new rims and tires and told her she better start saving up her money then when she mentioned she didnt have that type of money and asked what she should do. They ruined the tire, didnt pay for it or any other damages they did and sent her home on her spare expecting her to come back with over a grand for them to fix the leaky tire. So in the end they just wanted her to buy NEW rims and tires cause they saw she was a trusting older woman and thought they would get over on her.UPDATE: went to Used Tire King and $100got her 2 new tires and the issue was fixed and honestly the service was so fast, less then a half hour.

Big-O on Harrison is the best of the best! I have taken all my vehicles here for years! Tires, oil changes, any maintenance necessary. Brian, Brandon and the others take great care of me and I trust them! Now my grown married kids go there as did my Mom until her passing. I’m a lifer, they’ve earned my business every time I go there!

My husband and I are new to the area. That makes it hard to know who to trust with our cars. I decided to go to Big O on Harrison in South Ogden because Big O has ALWAYS done right by me. The last two days were no exception. I took my car to get new tires all around because 2 of my 4 tires were scary. I explained my situation (not good right now, thanks to COVID) and they set me up with some good, affordable tires. However, I asked if I could keep my two good tires to put on my other car. They were all about that. So, I went home, got my other car. They did warn me that the two tires still on my car are in poor condition and to be careful, but they could have said all my tires needed to be replaced and sold me 8 tires. Instead, I will probably end up only buying 6 total tires, since they told me the two good tires off my first car are in good condition and they also sell that exact brand. So I can still have a matched set on the other car, when I have the money to come get them. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! When I have gone to other tire stores, they have tried to tell me I have things wrong with my car that I know I dont, they have pressure me, trying to upsell me, with comments to put fear into me, for tires I cant afford. The folks at Big O on Harrison, RESPECT people. I have been fixing my own cars since the 70s and this grandma has a car thats set up for BOOST. Not that I would ever street race...ever... But some service people see a woman and assume she can be played, because we women are ignorant about car stuff. Not this woman. And, I was treated like anyone else standing at the counter and respected for my comments. I will refer this location highly. Thank you! You guys are awesome!!

Overpriced tires, overpriced labor charges, just overpriced everything, also big o is infamous for creating more issues with vehicles then fixing them, avoid big o. Ive had way better experiences at jiffy lube next door.

Great experience purchasing tires for my car, getting an alignment done and trailer tires! The guys were super friendly and had no problem answering my many questions and making a good recommendation. My car was done exactly when they said it was, making the entire process nice and seamless! I highly recommend them!

Always so friendly. Very efficient. Got me out in less than a hour for a oil change, tire rotation and emissions testing.

Had a weird repetitive thumping feeling as i drive in my car when going high speeds. So i took it in at this location. Told me it was my ball bearings, Tie rod and tires. Had them go ahead and fix it without new tires cause i had my own new set of tires. Picked it up the next day and put my new tires on after and still had the problem. Absolutely not happy with the service because it cost around $800 dollars to fix and it didnt even fix the issue i was hoping for.

Took my car to replace a clutch kit for $1,560. Started having trouble with clutch pedal.Towed car there as I was quoted $800 by Brian to lift transmission to check to see if related to work done previously to check on warranty. When I called to give the Go over the phone, Brandon was very unprofessional & flippant telling me Brian quoted us wrong and it was actually going to cost $1,500. He stated he was without a doubt sure it would not be related to what was done and he was confident it would not fall under warranty without even doing a diagnostic...(He must have psychic abilities). DO NOT take your vehicles here...as another mechanic we are taking car too said Big O will find any and all loops not to honor their warranty. And also way over priced.

I had two cars that both had slow leaks in one of the tires. I expected to pay for the repairs, but they were very accommodating, efficient and did not charge me, just asked that I consider them when I needed new tires. Much appreciated!

I highly recommend the Big O in South Ogden. I have been taking my cars there for years and have always had great service. I have had all sorts of repairs done on my various family vehicles through the years. Between the tires they provide and the repairs, I am glad I have one place where I can go for everything. The whole staff are nice people, but when you go in there, Brian and Brandon are usually the ones you will talk with first. They will take care of you!

Good and honest location. There were items I knew needed to be fixed, and they offered cheaper options than what I figured needed to be done, so it’s good to know they won’t try to oversell.

Getting work done on a vehicle is never a very great experience as far as time or money goes. Our experience here was great though. There service was friendly and they went out of their way to help us out. Repairs are expensive, but it pays to have people you can trust doing the work. Thanks for the help!

There isnt allot of places you can get EVERYTHING done in one stop. This is a no brainer. And, love the online check in. Just an awesome place to go and the guys are great to talk to as well. I have been going to this BigO store (South Ogden, Utah) for about 20 years for tires & service. They have great service and never talk down to women customers. They always answer my questions politely and professionally and dont try to sell me stuff I dont need.

I can not say enough good things about this Big O Tire location. I got a flat on i15, went to the Honda dealership on Riverdale RD and they were no help and absolutely the worst customer experience.My husband was at work and made a few calls for me, since I was overwhelmed with my two little kids in the car while trying to make calls. He called around a few tire stores and we decided to stop at this one even though their a few closer.Nick was incredible! He came outside once he saw me pull up. Looked at my tire and did say it wasn’t going to hold a patch. We replaced all 4 tires because they were getting close to needing it anyway. Our visit was fast, informative and the absolute best experience. They referred us to big o tires near us (we are from out of town) that we could do our free tire rotations at.Thank you Nick and staff for helping us and being so quick to get us on our way home to make it in time to go trick or treating! You’re the best!

Great place to get tires. I ordered tires that werent in stock- they had to get them from a warehouse in SLC- it took a bit longer but they took care of me. Just dropped my car off. No appointment necessary, although setting an appointment ahead of time for those tires would have saved a couple hours wait time.

Came in to use the 50,000 mile warranty I had on the tires I purchased from you a little over a year ago. I was told because of where the hole in the tire was that they wouldnt help me. they did however offer to sell me new stuff. after I told them no I came to get my car. I get home after and check to see if I can find the hole in my tire, but I couldnt because they never put the tire back in my car! the gentleman on the phone wasnt apologetic or helpful at all. Now I am worried because I purchased a thousand dollar set of tires for my Lexus 6 months back and i know if something happens you will do whatever you can not to help me. This is very sad to me, seems like your company is starting to care more about getting a sale than actually helping people out ir suggesting what they actually need. you have lost my business.

I love the employees here and have used this Big O since I could drive. They offer free rides when you drop your car off, have reasonable prices, wont do unnecessary work, and have referred me many times to other places that can do the work better and cheaper. An excellent spot for quick repairs like flat tires and quick registration.They are, as far as my experiences go, honest and trustworthy.

They have a sign on the door that says the store is free from the spread of germs but not a single employee in the store is wearing masks. They are getting into your car and breathing on your stuff while letting folks sit in an enclosed waiting area.

Your guys are great. We bring our fleet to you guys for oil changes, tires and routine maintenance. Brandon and Brian are always on the spot with the info given and always find away to get us taken care of.

My daughter just got a 2015 Jeep. I was told by the salesman where we bought the car that the tires had about 31,000 miles on them. I have no clue about tires, so I called Brian to get four new tires for safety reasons. His price was much lower than anywhere else that I called. They took the tires off and Brian came to ask me why we were getting new tires. The tires were brand new on the vehicle! Brian had them put the new/old tires back on the Jeep. I just really appreciate the honesty and integrity of this group of business people. I will be going back to Big O for all my tire needs. They saved me money and restored my faith in humanity! I have been a customer of this Big O since moving to Ogden eight years ago. This location is extremely well run with longtime employees Brandon and Brian always setting the tone with friendly and knowledgeable customer service. It didnt take long before I regarded them as actual friends who tried to help me with my vehicles rather than just make a quick buck. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I feel like I get great service, fair quotes for jobs, and I trust them with my car at this location. Brian, the man you will most likely encounter at the front desk, is good at his job and will answer any questions. He is also very good at explaining whats going on with the car, what they did, or what needs to be done. If you choose to wait, it is a reasonable wait time, especially if they know youre staying.

Bought struts had them installed and they replaced one without a problem when it was making a noise.I took my car back in for a noise I was having that another shop couldnt find or fix. They were able to find it and fix it in about an hour and didnt charge me as it was a dime fix. Ill be going back for other repairs. Highly recommended.

I have been using the Big O is South Ogden for years and its one of the rare auto places you can trust. The provide excellent service, top notch advice and quality products. I have had all my cars serviced here and they are always sensitive to my budget. EXCELLENT!!!

Great communication, speed, service, and integrity. I authorized replacement of both wheel hub assemblies, but they called back saying only one needed to be replaced right now, and the other could wait another 6 mos - 1 year. They easily could have just claimed both bearings were bad. Will definitely be coming back to this location for future service.

Overcharge for everything. Everytime I go in there they only have the most expensive part in stock and its sometimes 3x the price. Do not disclose extra fees when quoting you. You hand them $600 for the work that they said it would cost and they say its $700 total.

Quick and honest. Never pushed me to fix something unless it was urgent.

Just had a great experience. I normally never write reviews but my my recent trip was fantastic. I just needed safety and emissions done and thats just what they did (plus new wipers), they could even get me my sticker on-the-spot which saves a HUGE amount of time. They told me what I needed and not what they wanted. The people were very kind and knowledgeable (especially Brandon), I defiantly will be stopping by again.

Just got an emissions test. In and out in 30 minutes with everything done. Will go back again.

I had a flat tire in my 2017 Explorer, brought it in, they “fixed it” and charged me $21, telling me that there was corrosion, on my ALUMINUM wheels, in a vehicle that I bought less than 2 years ago. I went home, and the same night it was flat again. My husband who is also a mechanic took my car back to the same place to complain, which they told him they wouldn’t be able to see him for 3 hours, tried to tell him the same corrosion story until he let him know that he was also a mechanic, which then his story changed. We got our money back, but will never go into another Big O Tires again, and letting everyone that we know the same thing.UPDATE: we took it to Discount Tire, they actually took my tire off of the wheel, and there had been a hole in the tire. They happily fixed it for free. Which means that Big O didn’t even take my tire off the wheel, or they would have seen the hole. So they made me sit there for almost an hour, charged me $21 for them to not take my tire off to even check, fill it up, and send me off.

I have been going to these guys for a very long time. The staff is very friendly and nice and they get the job done quickly. The people up front are very helpful in taking their time to explain everything to me. Then even take me back and show me the things I need done and help me make the right choices on fixing my car. There shop is one of the cleanest I have been in. I feel comfortable bringing my kids in the store to wait with me. I would recommend these guys to every one. Way to go guys your the best.

I personally have been going to this store since they opened 18 years ago! The owners and staff are top notch, and the service is superb!!! In the automotive industry, not all news is good news. These people give you honest and reliable service. I wont go anywhere else!The owners have given both time and money to our local school on numerous occasions. The owner has even taken time out of their busy schedule to come and volunteer her time at Uintah Elementary. What other local business does that? Any business that is willing to give back to their community deserves my business!

So after a misunderstanding with financing and issues with their computer system, Brandon and the team at Big O got a hold of me within 24 hours and made every thing right. They financed me and got me the $50 mail in rebait as promised and the experience overall was very good. Someone i know here to get there tires rotated. They took there tires off and said they had to buy tires from them because they werent going to put my tires back on. Be careful about these guys at big o. I also learned it happened to my friend at this same location

Brought my truck in to get a tire fixed that had a slow leak. The next morning my tire was completely flat. I swapped out the flat with my spare and returned to have the tire fixed once again. This morning, I am finding a ride to work, as my tire is once again, flat.

This place is great. They always get me in quick and get me out quick. My wife and I go here for all our auto needs.

Tech was very careful pulling my lowered car on the lift.. however watched him stomp on my carbon fiber side skirt getting out my car.. I get it.. accident.. everything from wheel weights being nearly on the face/spokes, to small nicks getting the lugs off. Wish they were more careful with aftermarket cars that went to them instead of treating them like other daily drivers. Returned 3 times, Probably won’t be back after today.

Was able to get our van fixed, had a little wait time, but they did it as quickly as they could for how busy they were. They are also friendly.

Was referred to this location by a friend. I took an older car we own there for an alignment. The front counter guys were very helpful in letting me know the procedure, approximate timeframe, and probable cost. I was called within an hour of dropping the car off with specifics on parts prices and the work was done on time and at exactly the price quoted. Ill be back to this Big O.

Mounted and balanced a set of dealer take offs for me. Fast service.

If you have over-sized wheels or just out of balanced, these guys know their stuff. They have a unique balancing system called Haweka that balances the wheel based on the lugs rather than the center ring. They solved an issue I had been working on for more than a year and numerous trips to other tire shops. The owner, Mike takes it personal to get it right and really cares about the work his crews do. Ive been all over the valley and had to drive 45 minutes to get there, but it was worth it. Thanks Mike and crew. My next set of tires are coming from Big O on Harrison.

Extremely ride staff except for the lady at the front. Had 4 tires dismounted and they treated me like trash. They would not unload or load them like any other store does. Ill never use them again. Discount tire is half the price and happy to do it.

Trailer tire needed to be changed while traveling and they took me right in and changed tire like an Indy 500 pit stop. Also waived the charge with a smile. Really really nice people.

I was here for over an hour just to get a tire leak fixed which should have taken at most 40 min. Then when I told them I had fifteen minutes to get to a meeting, I needed my car put back together, they spent that fifteen minutes dinking around. I didnt get my car back until after I should have been at my meeting and they didnt even fix the leak! Couldnt figure out the problem. Took it to Jeds Treads in Layton the very same day and I was in and out within twenty minutes with my car fixed.

Ok... I am not from this area. As a result I just picked one Big O. I y was the first on the list. I called and made an appointment. I was 15 mins late. The manager stopped me at the door and raised his voice. He said you missed your appointment, so we cant do anything for you today. Apparently they dont have enough techs, so they are behind. Wow!This is coming from a guy who has no lobby. He has a folding table as a desk. There are no chairs...nothing. The rude behavior and the lack of customer care, and lobby, dis not Instill confidence. . So I called the other Ogden Big O. The second one. They were so nice and polite. They were accommodatin and the lobby was fantastic. Not having a lobby may seem petty, but I wasnt looking forward to standing around with the other customers and pacing for 3 hours.Heres a thought, if you are that busy, hire more tech! Otherwise your customers will go to a nicer, more caring and better Big O!!!
