Highly recommend this store for Real smoothies! I usually get the strawberry banana 24oz that is absolutely excellent! These are made with an actual banana and scoop of actual strawberries with some yogurt. This wasnt like others Ive had that were made using some strawberry type puree and banana flavored yogurt. They didnt even taste like strawberry or banana at all were horrible. Not these they are the real thing. When I get one and sit in the mall, I really never stop drinking it. They are that good. I got 20% off for senior 65+. They have other discounts on different days. I get the veteran discount on one day also. Well worth the money you get the real fruit smoothie!

Very mature of you calling a high schooler an “idiot” the workers are every nice and extremely helpful it takes an “idiot” to not know how to pull a lever up and down to use a simple yogurt machine. I’ve seen 5 year olds! Be able to use the machine. Not the workers fault for correcting you on a mistake that costs them money. I’ve been a reoccurring costumer for months and I’ve been treated with nothing but great service and friendly smiles.

Not very friendly. The blonde guy who work there is very rude about operating their yogurt machine. Idiot can put a sign up saying to push the leverage on the machine off he expects people to just automatically know very poor customer service

Was a little bit pricey but over all really good.. ive never had boba on frozen yogurt but it was surprisingly good and I definitely will come back!

This place has really gone downhill in the last few years. It used to be a tasty (albeit pricey) spot to get some delicious frozen yogurt and toppings. I was in a few weeks ago and the frozen yogurt was so watered down you could barely taste anything. Just plain awful and even more expensive than it used to be. There are far better options than this Red Mango location.

Yogurt had good flavor but its pricey compared to other yogurt shops. About 40% more expensive than the other chains.In addition, when I asked a staff person if I could have a sample cup (available in all other yogurt shops) I was told they didnt have sample cups. I asked how was I suppose to know if I liked the flavor if I couldnt sample it I was told to read he description. Staff not very friendly.So, good flavor yogurt + pricey + no sample cups + poor customer service = 2 stars.

I was in the Red Mango at the Maine Mall on Thursday December 20, 2018 approximately 3:30 pm, I ordered an Apple Ginger Kale smoothie, it was very tasty I might add until I felt A LONG STRAIGHT HAIR come through my straw - at first I thought it was a spider web. I immediately turned my car around and went back to Red Mango at the South Portland Maine Mall. I approached the Asian woman who prepared my smoothie, and YES SHE HAS LONG STRAIGHT HAIR. I showed her and the woman at the cash register the hair.Now, keep in mind I have been to Red Mango at least 10 times over the year - in fact I was there before the recent management change. This particular Asian woman asked if I wanted my usual Super Peanut Butter smoothie - I told her I wanted to try something different.I am clean shaven and I was wearing two caps and one was a skull cap covering my entire scalp. Check the surveillance camera (black hat and green coat).There was no apology no offer of compensation NOTHING.If I could I would score this a (negative 100) if I could. As a former military man and a repeat loyal customer AS LONG AS I HAVE BREATH IN MY LUNGS I WILL TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE I SEE TO STAY AWAY FROM RED MANGO FOR HEALTH REASONS.Maine Juice Company here I come and telling EVERYONE HOW AWFUL RED MANGO TREATS A (once) LOYAL CUSTOMER. And yes I went back home and washed my mouth out with an antiseptic.

My sister and I wanted to try Red Mango for the first time. We got our frozen yogurt and added toppings and cashed out. The service wasnt good but wasnt bad, just neutral.When we stepped away from the counter I tasted my Pomegranate yogurt which had clearly spoiled and tasted like sour milk. The taste was really unbearable and had a yeasty foul flavor.After discovering this I brought the yogurt back to the girl at the counter, Maria was her name. She explained that she wasnt allowed under any circumstance to give a refund or even open the drawer. I gave her my information and she told me that the owner, Scott would be contacting me. I left my entire yogurt at the counter and walked away without a refund, unsatisfied.The next morning Scott left me a message saying that the Pomegranate was indeed sour and had spoiled. He told me that I could go in and get another flavor of yogurt to which I replied that all I wanted was a refund. When I told him this he got very hostile and said that hes never given anyone a refund and thats not how he does things. He said that if you could find my receipt that he would consider it so I told him the date and time.I never received a call back.The service at this location is some of the worst Ive ever experienced. Ive worked in retail and counter service for many years and the way that this location is operating is humiliating and amateur. None of my friends and family will be returning to Red Mango again for this experience has been so bad.All I wanted was an $8 refund. Its embarrassing that this is the level that Red Mango treats its customers, especially Scott the owner. I normally dont leave reviews but because of the extreme rudeness and unaccommodating owner I felt that I had to warn others. I am in the process of leaving this review on a handful of sites and urge people with all my might not to go here. I think an accurate rating for this location would be -2.Ive also written to corporate because they should know of this guy and how he is treating people. I looked at several other reviews on Google and it seems that multiple people have had terrible experiences with Scott. He is truly ruining the Red Mango name is Maine. Terrible choice, terrible service. I am very disappointing and upset with the way this went down.

Been approx ten or more times: each time I order froyo for myself and my two children (three small cups). At no point has any employee mentioned that the price is by the cup? Not once. They have a scale and I believed I was paying by the ounce. I feel deceived after visiting Red Mango corporate and discovering its priced by small and medium cups. Rip off report.
