A great scoop at a reasonable price in a great little neighborhood in South Portland. My wife and daughter and I stopped in last week and enjoyed our ice cream at their outdoor seating. Definitely stop in if youre in the area.

My son and I drove over from Westbrook yesterday to try this place out. It was okay, but not as awesome as other reviews lead me to believe. My son ordered their chocolate ice cream which was actually pretty good, very chocolatey, like a frozen hot cocoa or a frosty. I ordered their strawberry ice cream - we have a thing for strawberry ice cream and one of us always orders it anytime we stop for ice cream somewhere - and, while it was good, it definitely wasnt as rich and creamy as Beals or Giffords ice cream and no where near the awesomeness that was Catbird Creamery (were still looking for a replacement; we miss you so much, Catbird!) Both had an average milkfat content, nothing all that special.If youre a fan of soft serve, youll be disappointed here as they dont have it.

From a loyal customer: PLEASE hire more employees. Your product is fantastic, but having only one employee on staff with a giant line waiting outside is not fair for the employee, or good service to customers. People end up leaving without making a purchase because the wait is too long.

After a day exploring the local forts or kayaking in the area. This is the perfect stop for some wonderful ice cream. Great flavors its an adventure on its own. Street parking

THE BEST HOMEMADE ICE CREAM. More fatty than it is dairy. DELICIOUS! The coffee Oreo and cookies and cream may be the absolute best but they also have fun flavors like “Sunburn” which is strawberry ice cream with a habanero kick. Monkey Business is a good one (cruchy, banana flavor). Wild Berry is super yummy. You really can’t go wrong here. PLUS it’s a quick walk to Willard Beach. Who doesn’t enjoy ice cream and a sunset?Bonus: they have hot fudge cups to go.Also.. there are some reviews about the line and not enough employees- this is during COVID-19 so there is only one walk up window available and the line is outside. The service is wonderful. Don’t let those haters keep you from trying this ice cream.

Yummy! The Best Ice Cream Ever! Real pieces of candied Ginger in the Ginger Ice Cream. The Peppermint Ice has actual peppermint stick in it. Flavors Explode in you mouth. My only regret is I can only eat 2 scoops on a Waffle cone at a sitting.

$4.95 for a scoop of ice cream is highway robbery. The chocolate ice cream was no better than Breyers ice cream and the peppermint stick ice cream chewed like stale peppermint. I don’t care if it is organic or not. I’ve been there twice with the same thought. Don’t waste your money, the neighborhood drives up the price!

Willard Scoops is the absolute best spot in the greater Portland area for ice cream. The salted caramel nut is sublime, especially as a hot fudge sundae with nuts and whipped cream. The interior of the store is on the smaller side, making things feel a bit too cozy during a busy summer day.

The best! Just so you know, you can always ask for 2 flavors on a one scoop cone or cup, and on a waffle cone or 2 scoop cone, I guess you can go to more! Which is great, because deciding which flavors to order is not easy! They are out of this world delicious!

Mint ice cream made with real mint is a must try. As is the Sea-Salt Caramel. Curbside pick-up too!

Try the hot fudge sundae. You wont regret it. Enjoyed it over salt caramel but cant imagine a flavor it wouldnt be good on. Bring your appetite - the portions are very generous.

Great creative homemade ice cream at a reasonable price. In regards to comments about the ice cream being pricey, go to the store and buy fresh whole cream, sugar, milk, and other ingredients. Making great, real ice cream is expensive! Great job with the ice cream, my family loved it while we were in the area visiting. We just intended to try it once but ended up going back again because it was so good and there were so many flavors we all wanted to try!

My first visit. Long line but worth the wait. Mint chocolate chip with fresh mint leaves, not artificial flavor or color. Awesome!!!

While visiting family we stumbled upon this gem! I walked in feeling a little overwhelmed by all the amazing flavor options. The staff was helpful, kind, and patient with me and we walked out with delicious ice cream! Their blueberry flavor was the best tasting ice cream Ive ever eaten and their coffee cookie ice cream was creamy goodness. I wish we had more time, I would have stopped again!!

The ice cream is very good, but not a good value for the price compared to other places with equally good ice cream, in the Greater Portland area. The server was not friendly either. And while they had models of the cone sizes, ours did not measure up to the example, leaving us with the impression that the server could not be bothered to maintain some kind of standard. Not worth it IMHO.

They have deliciously unique flavors. I tried mint leaf chip and blackberry cheesecake. I was NOT disappointed!

Found this place on Google and decided to try it based on the stellar reviews. It could not have been better. One of the best cones of my life (strawberry, honey I love you, and salt caramel). This has immediately become a must have for every time Im in Portland in the future.

Sea Salt Caramel is a little piece of heaven. All of their flavors are spot on and the owners are often in the shop. Willard Square is a small community-oriented neighborhood. Favorite part, Willard Beach is a short walk away!
