They were very nice and professional in speaking with them. They have my car Ill give a full review on the service they provide when I get my car back but so far so good. Well got my back and so far so good Im very ecstatic (happy)with the work. I would personally recommend them. The lady at the desk is truly heaven sent. when I first took my car up there I told them I was an occasional weekend warrior (racer) she remembered tht and was genuinely concerned for my safety and well-being and not the car.

Very good with identifying and resolving the problem. The manager is awesome. He kept me informed.The assistant is a doll! She is definitely a joy to be around; she made me eager to spend $5000 I didn’t plan on spending.🤣 Her love for God was her best attribute. Good people with no hidden agendas to make you pay more than the damage which was already done.I definitely recommend them!

I was recommended to this business due to random shaking of my vehicle at certain speeds. The lady at the front desk is very pleasant. I was told my vehicle would be repaired and ready to go within 10 days. I was called on day 7 and told it was ready for pick up. No b.s. no run around, a great place for transmission needs.

Treated me great,I know they had a lot of customers before me but they got to my vehicle when they said and it was done when they said,so it was a great non stressful experience. I recommend if you have transmission trouble take it to Coleman Taylor Transmission. I have not used them since 1981,but the service was great then and great now. AWESOME

Very friendly staff took transmission here for bench build ....also if you have any problems they will try there best to work it out with you in a professional manner .... but please understand they run a business you are priority but like any company patience is the key to life

Was taking to long to even get vehicle worked on had truck since 4th April received all parts on 8th then told me would start this week Stull not touched or moved since pushed to back of shop than when asked for vehicle back was told I had to come dig it out of there back lot and that it was my issue to deal with that is not how u run a shop I have been in mechanic field since I was 8

Service wasn’t so pleasant at all. I had my car towed there and it took them 2* days to run a 1 hour diagnostic on my car. I had to reach out each and every time we spoke. I was told one thing, then hours later I was told something completely different. In my opinion, I don’t think my car was really looked at, AT ALL and the direction of the conversation sorta kinda confirmed that for me. The lady that sits at the first desk to the left as soon as you enter was extremely pleasant and she maintained a very positive attitude. But, the overall communication and service was poor... Thanks for Nothing though.. 🤝

Mr. Rick and his team were on point from start to finish. Everyone i came in contact with was very professional and polite. They were finished with my van within the time frame in which they promised. So far my van is running like a top. They were still friendly even after the nice lady in the office got my $,lol. Another company wanted to charge me a $1000to rebuild it and only offered a90 day warranty,duh. My warranty with Coleman Taylor was for a year and was still reasonable. Thx again,ill update in 7 months. (10-16-20) 2 1/2 weeks still running strong!

No communication from shop. Car was promised to be ready 2 weeks after they received it. This turned into a 35 day process with zero communication from management.

These guys did an awesome job. My truck has never shifted this good. They were quick too.

Say they give free diagnostics, when you ask them to find a leak, they test drive your vehicle without ensuring there are any fluids in it... not my idea of smart thinking. Then they get back to you right away with a figure to replace every part of your transmission in order to fix it and make it like new. $1,500 for a 5-Speed Manual is ridiculous. And you re-explain that all you wanted diagnosed was a leak, not a test drive, a leak. Then they say they will look at it the next day, and you dont hear anything. Theyre closed the next day so they can not be reached. You call on Monday and they dont know what is going on so they say they will call you back, but they dont. So you call them and speak to the manager who was supposed to be looking at your vehicle from the very get go and he has no idea what is going on with it. So he says they will look at it tomorrow. And then you call them a couple hours after opening and they havent taken the time to even get it on a rack and look at it. They have been open for four hours and no one has looked at it, no one knows what is going on, except that it could cost $1,500 to repair. Stupid and not worth my time to get their opinion I can find better service on a forum online.

Rebuilt my transmission and did a fantastic job of it! Even fixed my axel and motor mounts!

Extremely upset with this location. My girlfriend payed over $3,000 to have her Nissan Sentra transmission rebuilt. When she got the car back the gear shifter wouldnt lock into gear. The steering wheel wasnt aligned correctly. And as I am working out of town she drove down to see me this weekend. While driving the car for the first time since out of the shop from them doing the work it has a dangerous vibration in it now. NOT HAPPY. She had called and told me about these things and I told her to take it back and they would fix what they needed too. Twice its been left at this location yet its worse now than before. When I get back to Southaven Ill be taking it to them and they can call the Southaven police department to meet us all there. Crooks as far as Im concerned. Ill be contacting this businesss district manager before this happens to let them see the issues Ive stated. Very upset with this location and ESPECIALLY with the dangerous vibration it has now. Im literally concerned for her safety going home. UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW 05-25-2019. After leaving the initial review I contacted the location and spoke with a man named Rick. He stated it was the first he had heard about this and tell my girlfriend to bring it back in (3rd time) and hed test drive it. They kept it from Monday afternoon until Thursday afternoon. It was sent to firestone and I have came home for the memorial day weekend and driven the car. It is driving as it did before we took it to them. I am happy. They also gave her a gift card for Outback steak house that will be given to someone in need of it. Rick is an honorable man. But just keep in mind I firmly believe they were taking advantage of a woman. Until a man stepped in to help. If this business wishes to contact me do so as they know who I am..

Dont know yet, pick my truck up tmar

I have a 2005 Ford explorer. I paid $2514.50 to get my transmission rebuilt. Two and a half weeks later my truck starting jerking, smoking and leaking fluids. Transmission went out again. A business that specialize in transmission, this job should have been repaired perfect the first time. Now Im without a vehicle for who knows how long. Matters worse I call to check on my vehicle, but manager wasnt available. He was going to call me after he was done talking to another customer. I didnt get a call back. Thanks a lot Colemans transmission in Southaven for the awful job you did on my vehicle. I have a warranty on the rebuilt transmission. If something goes wrong with the transmission you have to get it repaired at same location. You did such a terrible job. Im terrified if your work will leave me stranded again. I dont recommend this location.
