Very fresh cuts of meat at this store (which is kn of the few things I ever get here) and a very wide selection of wine and cheese. If wine and cheese is your thing I would suggest check this place out. They have a great produce selection as well. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable.

No one else in the area was carrying shallots. of course fresh market was. Bakery is also full of unique goodies. We have become addicted to the coconut shrimp with mango sauce pre-prepared.

Store is always clean and inviting. The food is fresh and displayed well. Love this place!

My last visit was long lines, and only two cashiers working. And no grocery carts in store. Guess having off day. Usually have no complaints!

Everything is good but expensive...except the meat counter. The fresh whole chickens and the cuts of beef are outstanding..and comparable in price to any other butcher or market. If youre going to have a BBQ cookoff.. get your brisket here. If I were a king and could knight the butcher, I would dub thee: Sir Loin of Beef.

I’ve never had any issue or complaint with TFM. Usually it’s a good vibe and they pump that fresh market smell whatever it is. But I don’t always go. Usually it’s because I can’t find something at Nature’s Own or the Farmer’s Market or from one of my wife’s sources she has for some stuff.

Their prices are outrageous and the food is not all that good I could do better at home myself. That is a store that is money hungry.

Great store with friendly staff. Love the produce selection, I can always find the odd veggie Im looking for. It also has a large variety deli food and the butchers shrimp is the best precooked shrimp Ive ever tasted. Id give it 5 stars if the store was bigger. The isles can get pretty cramped when you shop at peak times.

Absolutely love this store. Everything is so fresh and yummy!Never a bad experience.Just wish they still had the tri color Italian cookies. And that they hadnt changed their sizes on the fruit tarts.

Not great :(. The Fresh Market in Fayetteville is a 1000xs better.The produce is lacking; no English cucumbers or sprouts to be found.Rotessori chicken is very dry. Most of the prepared food selection looks unappetizing - like it has been sitting for hours and no one has bothered to give it a stir.With the exception of the young man that works at the meat counter and a lady cashier, most of the staff is rude or ambivalent to the shopper. Being on your cellphone when I want to checkout sends me a message I am bothering you when I need to check out. It is just unprofessional.

Great selection of speciality products, but prices are much more expensive than, like stores in Texas

Fresh Market has what their name implies and more. Very fresh greens, veggies and fruits with a variety not found in other local food stores. Excellent meat, fish, deli and cheeses. Gluten free foods. Stumptown coffee! Lots of well selected imported and US sourced specialty products at good prices. Go and find what you are having for dinner tonight!

I stopped in to purchase a few things and noticed after leaving that this cheese was molded. I returned to the store and when I asked to speak to the manager was treated pretty rudely by the cashier. They called Frank to the front and the only conversation was when he asked if I’d like more cheese or my money back. He went back to the deli counter grabbed another pack of cheese and handed it to me whiteout saying a word. On the way to the car I looked and the 2nd pack wasn’t much fresher than the first. I just chased it up to another bad local fresh market experience, and didn’t bother returning the 2nd package. Waste of money and time for not so “fresh”?

Fresh Market offers different deals every day. I like to go on Thursdays when the round pizzas are $5, sushi is $5, and nut breads are 2 for $5( I recommend the blueberry banana).

Wow, I have found the store for me! Sushi!! A meat department that blows my mind, so many choices! Definitely tons of variety. The young cashier was a little surly, but not enough to prevent me from returning.

Lots of items you cant find in other stores, like caster sugar or Kiss melons. Many gluten free options. Fresh meals prepared and ready to eat. Its not where I buy laundry detergent and such, although they have a few choices.

The store is clean and customer service is great, but this is the third time I’ve purchased something and later that day find that it’s far past expiration. Two of these have been their single serving cold pressed juices, another has been a canned product. With some of those juices costing $4-5, this is really frustrating.

This is a well laid out, nice store and it stocks some rare and healthier options that are hard to find elsewhere. Its a very good shopping experience but be advised that its not cheap and its not intended to be. We buy our stocks and staples elsewhere and shop here for luxury foodstuffs.

Very solid little grocery store. The meat selection is the best in town and the prepared foods are superb! Produce is not always the best in town but is ample for most grocery store runs.

I love the selection of great produce meats and find food, I actually hate going into the fresh market. It is so close and cramped, and the lighting is dim. In my opinion markets should be well lit (especially for examining produce) and have ample room for two carts in an aisle. If they change the location to a larger building out with you out there all the time.

While I have to agree that the deli, bakery, and overall food selections are terrific, I am regularly disappointed with the customer service and I don’t understand why? For example, I stopped by this evening with my two kids to pick up bistro meals for dinner. After standing there for several minutes while the deli worker rinsed out a dish, he eventually came up and asked “do you want something?” and proceeded to treat me like I was inconveniencing him. He was quite polite with the older customers but I felt the presence of my children was somehow a burden for him (they are 3 and 8 and we’re quiet and still). Next, we headed over to the bakery because my son asked for a dessert. Again, several minutes went by with the bakery worker standing 3 feet from me and “not noticing” me. Eventually she came over, and again “do you need something?” was my greeting. I asked for the item my son requested and it was placed sideways in the container and handed off with an insincere “have a nice day” as she looked away. Then on to checkout, I greeted the checkout clerk with “hi, how are you?” and literally got no response. My only redeeming experience tonight was the sweet girl bagging our items who actually made eye contact and said she hoped we have a good night. I’m not saying my expectations are super high when I go grocery shopping and there have been a few customer service experiences I’ve had here that have been good, but they are few and far between. I would honestly shop there more if I felt like my children were welcome in the store. It’s a really weird approach to customer service. I hope it gets better because the actual products are better than other local stores.

I cant tell you what my favorite food is because yall will eat it all up, but they have a free sample coffee bar. Salad and olive bar and much more! Its a treat to the eyes and the belly. Quality and this place go hand in hand. Its a relaxing place to be.

Good store hard time online ordering

Fresh Market has gone through some dramatic changes since Apollo Investment Group Assumed control of what was at one time a wonderful petite grocery store to visit. The atmosphere in the store is going through some negative changes I rarely shop there any more. Therefore I can no longer recommend it to friends and family. Giving them 3 stars is extremely generous.

The workers were very friendly and well manner.

Excellent selection of International Foods. Small variety of Deli Meats and Cheeses. Fabulous Olive Bar. Delicious fresh Breads and Ready Meals. But bring money because its Very Expensive. Truly the definition of you get what you pay for.

While in Pinehurst, NC my Mom took me to grocery shop here. Wow, what a fabulous store. All the fresh made ready to cook meals near the front of the store. The bulk item area in great too. The meats and seafood sections are really impressive. We bought Chilean Sea Bass, expensive but our favorite fish. Not many stores carry it. Whenever we need something that other grocery stores don’t have, we can usually find it here.

Picking up sushi grade tuna for sashimi at home. They have the best seafood in the area. Also the best prepared sushi. The meat counter is beautiful. Must visit.

I absolutely love The Fresh Market but this location is terrible. They never have the items they send out in emails for special of the day or special of the week. Even if you arrive early on the day the special starts they are almost always still out🙄 I have never shopped at a Fresh Market that is so terribly stocked on items

Great place to shop. I call it my therapy ! Beautiful flowers as you walk in the door. The smells of the flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables. The savory smells of the deli and sweet smell of the Bakery. Great selection of meat, poultry and seafood. Relaxing music as you shop. Friendly staff throughout the store. Shop there at least once a week, making the drive from Rockingham NC!

Kind of difficult to see the sign for in on 15-501. Very gourmet. Tasty pre-prepared salads and meals, and a fair selection for a higher end grocery store. The store is just the right size too.

Have been shopping Fresh Market since the 80s in Greensboro, went today in Southern Pines and discovered that with the variety of meats and cheeses they carry, they no longer carry pepperoni in the case to be sliced or pre-packaged in slices. They did have a stick about the size of a quarter. So, in the future instead of making 2 stops, I will just start at Harris-teeter.

This is a small Fresh Market based on modern trends. But is one of my favorites. Its just the right size. The sales people are right where you can see and talk to them. Their ready to eat foods are excellent. Something about the atmosphere here is very pleasant. Its the right size for this size community.

They let you give a fruit to your child on your visit. SO thankful! Even if our kid has just eaten, seeing fruits can make the visit less than pleasant if it werent for the complimentary fruit. Such a lovely and healthy alternative to other stores that offer cookies to kids (which our son cant have).

Update: April, 2020. I am still pleased with Fresh Market and know they are going the extra mile to insure customer safety today. I will be shopping every week there just as I always have.Last yearI shop here every week and have for 10 years My favorite food store, always get.my meat and fish there. Also, coffee.and breakfast pastry. Price worth it, specials are good.

Great fresh food at reasonable prices. I just wish they had an electric scooter cart since I am disabled and had to miss most of the aisles. However, the store is pretty tight for one and very crowded so it might not work out anyway.

Very nice, clean and well stocked grocery store. Fruits and vegatable section is awesome. Has a good selection of organic fruits and vegatables. The prices at the butcher shop is a bit steep, however, the quality is very good. The stockers are extremely helpful and polite.
