This Meijer pharmacy is terrible. The staff is so RUDE! I wish I could give them 0 stars! The Pharmacists are fine, my scripts are always right and timely. It’s the pharmacy techs. Those women have the nastiest attitudes. I don’t understand how they are still employed. There is one in particular whose attitude is ALWAYS NASTY! I have heard them speak to elderly customers in the most condescending and disrespectful tones. It’s disgusting. Our neighborhood Meijer had gone down hill. I WILL NOT be filling Amy prescriptions there again.

The staff is very rude and unprofessional…I will no longer be getting any of my prescriptions filled there. It’s unfortunate because this is my neighborhood Meijier but I am willing to drive a little further for professionalism and compassion!

This truly is the worst pharmacy ever. I really wanted to keep my business here because I love that their staff consists of mostly women. Unfortunately, they are all rude, they act as if they hate their job or as if they are irritated by the audacity of customers for trying to get their prescription. Any situation that involved the discretion of the pharmacist, don’t expect them to treat you as a human, but as a criminal involved in a pill mill operation. They will do everything in their power to create more hoops for you to jump through. Today, the pharmacist even went as far as to lie about the number she called to verify my electronic prescription. Two electronic scripts sent at the same time, same number, but not the number for the counseling office, although the number for the counseling office is provided under the NPs name and information. The number on the script was the number for the telehealth line. Despite talking to the receptionist 3 days ago and approving my script, this time, she says the phone numbers didn’t match, so she wasn’t going to fill it. Every month, my script is verified by the same office, the same number. But today, just for funsies, she decided she didn’t want to believe the receptionist. I will now have to go 4 days without my medication because of the use of her discretion. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else. LITERALLY anywhere else. Other places will begin to use discretion in trusting you the longer you go there, but not here.Update 05/29/2021Today, there was a different pharmacist and staff. My experience was SO much better. Everyone was polite, and the pharmacist even said it would it take 30 mins, every other time, the response is always an hour. Today was a much better experience.

Their services are OK but theres always an issue with the notifications letting you know your prescriptions are ready. They keep telling me that my prescriptions are ready and I get there and they tell me I have to wait 20 minutes. That is not what ready means.

Do NOT fill rx here. Each time Ive come, Ive had to wait 45 min to 1 hour for my script. Its EVIDENT that these pharmacists drag their feet and dont like their jobs. Do better Meijer.

To say the Pharmacy staff is rude and condescending would be compliment. They are simply incorrigible. They will do ANYTHING to get out of doing their job. I brought in a prescription for, albeit a high dosage, of the prescription I take. The initial pharmacist noted this and had concern about filling it. I suggested he consult with my doctor as required by law. After consulting, he understood that the dose was appropriate.When I went to pick up the prescription, a different pharmacist was working. She refused to even consider the prescription or take the time to consult with my doctor. Is it shocking that someone who holds public trust to take care of patients could have such disregard for a patients well being. There is a big difference in making an educated decision after consulting with the prescribing doctor and refusing a script without consideration. Because the original pharmacist who was okay with the script is going on vacation, I am now unable to get the medicine I require.The pharmacist wouldnt even recommend somewhere I could get it filled. I will be filing a complaint with the Bureau of Professional Licensing. Shame on Miejer for letting someone with no regard for a patients well being staff their store.

This particular Meijer must be some sort of an experiment in the urban market (Detroit) or something, because the level of customer service is way below what is expected. I have shopped at various Meijer stores (in and out of the state of Michigan) and this is the first one that has been allowed to run out of product on the shelves more than just once or a couple of times. I am truly wondering whats going on at this particular store. The pharmacy is O.K. The produce is pretty good. And the store is very clean. But other than that, I cant say much else in terms of good service. PLEASE Try And Fix This!

After providing them with my insurance and waiting 25 minutes for them to run it, they informed me that my insurance ONLY covers name brands. It DOES NOT cover any generics. I left and contacted my insurance and they confirmed that obviously this is insane and they cover generics. All in all, if you enjoy waiting for a long time and dealing with incompetent people, Meijer is your pharmacy--otherwise go somewhere else.

They always make you wait if you have a written script. Also for wharevercreason if you send something electronic they will fill it than return it back if not picked up in 7 days.

This is the worst pharmacy EVER! The customer service, lack of detail, NEVER calls a customer to inform them an Rx isnt available & or on backorder! They dont APOLOGIZE until you TELL them to. MEIJER you SUCK

This is the second month in a row I drove in to drop off my prescription and am told it will be in tomorrow. I ask them to double check and then i drive in the next day and am told it did not come in yet.Just let me know you cant get it in and i will go some place else. Three months ago they gave me heart medication instead of requip... Hate this place.

On three occasions the pharmacy did not fill the script with the correct quantity. Make sure you count your pills BEFORE you leave the counter.

Worst pharmacy ever. My child was sick and in extreme pain and this Meijers was out of the meds that her doctor electronically sent over. I was told to have a CVS pharmacy call to requeat the prescription but this meijers pharmacy forgot to send it and closed. The literally walked out the door at exactly 9:00 and would not anewer the repeated calls from their own managers at the store. Just horrible and completely unacceptable. I will never use a meijers pharmacy again.

This is the worst Meijer I have ever visited. It is sad that this place is in a predominantly african american community. Visit other meijers and you will see a huge difference.This meijer never has full shelves. The selection is not diverse and the service isnt any better. One would think this place would be comparable to other in surrounding comminities but that would be foolish. Just because a community has money doesnt mean they wont have to drive to experience variety and good service. SAD.

They never have enough lines open, and not enough help. plus they never replenish there shelves fast enough to keep up with customer demand. meat department is sorry after 9 pm. what ever meat is out is all they have until next morning. I use to think highly of this store but not so much now!

HORRIBLE!!! Stopped in to get a few things on my way to work. No registers open except self scan, half of them are not working and the one clerk who was supposed to be working the self scan was no help. I have seriously been standing in line for 15 minutes now. I WILL NEVER CONE TO THIS STORE AGAIN
