My daughter and I went in after a long birthday lunch to have an ice cream. We were not sure they were open from the looks of the place and the windows were all dirty with handprints but saw 2 young people sitting inside one girl on the counter and 1 boy behind the counter so we went in . The girl jumped down there were no menus or signs to tell you what they had so she suggested the vanilla pop so my daughter picked one out she wasnt sure what the toppings were so we asked for chocolate dipped in the chocolate cookie crumbs and she apparently was struggling and hadnt been taught to even know how to dip the chocolate bar so she kept trying to dip it and couldnt do it and struggled with it then tried spooning the chocolate on top then at last she dropped it in some cookie dump crumbles and handed it to us on a small paper plate. Then it stuck to the plate with what sparse chocolate there was because it hadnt dried correctly and we left .It was terrible service the place was dirty the boy that was working was on his phone and the little girl was sitting up on the counter that you served food on in the back when we walked in Well not go back.August 31 afternoon .

What is steelcitypops? Well it’s a fancy popsicle place. Yes, popsicles. You can get flavors like blood orange, lime, mango pineapple, and more. If you like they’ll dip them in a variety of toppings/ coatings. I got lime no toppings- delicious! Ok…. It’s a popcicle, fer’ sure. Take a date. I came in with my son and daughter the other day for our first time and was astonished with the service!!! Friendly customer service for us even though we took as a while choosing! The lady worker, Michalea, was so kind and patient with my kids,( a quality i don’t see in kids much these days). overall 11/10 taste snd experience. Will DEFINITELY be returning back there;)

Delicious and healthy, if you get the fruit based ones. They also have very decadent ones with all sorts of combinations. They can cater your event too! I would recommend to anyone.

It was my first time coming here and the worker there was very welcoming and friendly helping us choose out our flavors and giving us a little description of the ones we were interested in. I only had one form of payment, but unfortunately they couldn’t take it so instead of just canceling the order the worker there was so kind enough to offer the popsicles for free. She even asked us if we wanted toppings on the popsicles. The popsicles were delicious and so flavorful. This place is great with incredible customer service and tasty bites and to the very beautiful and kind worker thank you for making my day! 😊

I got Watermelon with honey and chile powder and my son got vanilla with chocolate drizzle. The employee was super nice, she even coated mine with a little extra chile!

Love going to Steel City Pops and stopped by today and they had no chocolate. SAY WHAT? Thats the whole purpose of going there is for the chocolate dredging and sprinkling. BOOOOO!!!

I went to the one in Fort Worth and had the most horrible experience! However because they are different locations I gave this one a try and what a difference!! The staff truly cares here, theyre super friendly and will talk to you without giving short answers. They had a nice selection. I honestly felt welcomed here! Thank you for being way better than the one on Fort Worth, I cant wait to come back!!!

Absolutely terrible. Do not waste your time that’s if they are even open which they barely are. We went to buy 2 dozen pops and THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY BAGS OR ANYTHING TO PUT THEM IN. They said we had to carry 24 popsicles between 2 people. Terrible business. Clearly someone running this place doesn’t care at all about their franchise. Poor lady at the front said there isn’t even a manager period right now. Get your stuff together or give up the franchise to someone who will actually care about it. Absolutely pathetic ownership!!!!!

Great service - it was my first time and I got great help. I had the Dirty Chai (Chai popsicle, dipped in Dark Chocolate, drizzled with White Chocolate and sprinkles with Espresso Powder) IT WAS SO GOOD

I got a chocolate chili pop with chocolate drizzle. The flavor was really good. The service though was poor. They forgot my pop. It wasnt until I stopped someone and showed them my receipt that they got it for me. I could see a bunch of the kids who worked there sitting on the floor in the back room, eating their pops while I impatiently waited for mine.

Delicious as always, right on point with their flavors and open during the pandemic. Prices are ok and their customer service is good, the place is very clean.

Quality ingredients, generous sizes, and well-made. They have a great texture, not icy like some pops. Theyre kept well below freezing, so they dont melt while youre enjoying them. Steel City has the best pops Ive tried anywhere.

I came in yesterday and the two girls serving me were so so sweet, however, there was another woman there who might have been the manager that was very rude and snippy to the girls working. She just sat behind them on her phone while the other girls were working away. The popsicle I had was so refreshing but I dont want to give them any of my service if that is how they treat their employees.

I am not usually a fan of fruity pops, but I prefer them over the creamy ones here. There literally isnt a single flavor that isnt great. My favorite is probably blood orange. Kids love the strawberry lemonade. But we have tried a lot and they are all good: lime, avocado, hibiscus, watermelon, peach.Actually, I forgot about the cantaloupe, that one isnt great I wouldnt get it. They will also put them in an insulated bag or a box with an ice pack if you order a bunch so they dont melt on the way home. What a time to be alive.

This place is a unique twist on a frozen popsicle. The flavors are unique and very tasty. I tried the coffee flavor dipped in chocolate and then covered in crushed pecans. It was very good and I will probably do that again.

I loved the ice cream I got. It was so delicious. The wait was a bit bunch since there was a very large family infront of me but the ice cream was to die for with the crumbs, peach pop, and white chocolate layer. I will def come back

Their popsicles are delicious! I like to get the Dipped Chocolate Coconut! It is my favorite. I like their outdoor area, it allows you to grab the pops and hang out for a while. Dont be afraid to try their different flavors. They will change out your pop if you do not like it! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Clean Place!

Everything I have tried is really, really good. My favorite is the passion fruit pop. A little tartness and only 79 calories! I lean towards the fruity ones rather than the creamy both both are good. Not your typical popsicle.

Girls at the counter on Friday night let a bunch of people cut in front of us and a couple waiting behind us. When asked where the line was, they said it “depends” and didn’t apologize for letting the woman with six kids cut in front of the 4-6 people who were waiting beforehand. Didn’t seem to care about customer service and was annoyed that I had even asked. Fort Worth location staff is so much friendlier.

Grandeur expectation..they lost me on how the pops were taken from..something is missing. We were served by a wonderful miss though and was very pleasant.

The lady working gave all of the raspberry popsicles to her friends for free and I tried to buy one buy because she knew them they got super special treatment.

I just left Steel City Pops. My chocolate pop was delicious. The cashier/servers were polite and competent. The reason for only 3 stars is the restroom. They have one unisex restroom, which is fine. However, the toilet and floor had urine sprinkled all over. It was disgusting and unsanitary.

Day 2 of vacation and stop #4 at this place. Best dessert Ive had in a long time. Super refreshing and insanely tasty.

Steel City Pops is a fun, unique place to go for a cold treat! We are so glad we found this place! It is a chain originating out of Birmingham, AL. They offer a variety of gourmet popsicles. Super fun flavors that youve most likely never considered eating frozen! They use all natural, organic ingredients. No dyes or preservatives. If you should get a flavor you dont like, just tell them and they will switch it out for you. There were 3 of us. We tried one that none of us cared for but in the end we had 3 different flavors that we all loved and we cant wait to go back. We loved Buttermilk (believe it or not it taste like cheesecake and even the 10 year old try to claim it!), Strawberry Lemonade, and Peachesn Cream. Yummy! We ate them plain, but you can upgrade with d chocolate dips, various drizzles and sprinkles. Have fun!Update: its so good we had to go again and its a 30 minute drive. They have something for everyone!I do wish that they offered samples. They could either make flavor drops or even cut pops into cubes and keep next to the pops in the freezer so you could get a quick taste. They dont have samples, but they do stand by their policy that if you dont like your choice they will replace it and theyre very friendly about it. I can say just get the Buttermilk one and you wont be disappointed.

Love this location! Its a lot closer to me since I live in Coppell. Dont have to go to the one in Fort Worth too often.

Once a delicious post dinner treat, Steel City Pops now fills my tummy not with its satisfying taste of a delicious popsicle, but with an emptiness that could only be filled with the late peanut butter flavored pop. Having been deprived of this flavor I ask myself - what sins did I commit to have such a horrible punishment bestowed upon me? I am but a simple person who demands the right to be fed a peanut butter frozen treat. Now I am forced to torture my taste buds with fruity flavors and knock off wannabe peanut butters. At night I dream of the day when my peanut butter will return to the menu, it’s ever present smell a beacon of hope. Every time I look into the frozen display case, a silent tear falls in the memory of my beloved peanut butter. And so begins the fight to be served the delicacy that is known as the classic Peanut Butter Popsicle. Because not only has Steel City frozen it’s popsicles, but it has also frozen my heart.
