I honestly can’t say enough about the job Ryan completed for me and my family. In the middle of the heat wave he did everything to ensure our home would be cool before leaving. I tried 4 seasons heating and it was the biggest waste of money and time. I learned a ton from Ryan durning his service call. I will gladly use again.

From start to finish we were beyond impressed with our interaction with Dave from Silver State Heating and Air. He came out the morning of the 4th of July holiday and promptly diagnosed and fixed our AC unit. He was highly professional and friendly.Pricing was fair and we we will now use Silver State for any of our future HVAC needs!

Could not be more happy with are service even on a Sunday morning! Ashley was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Even showed me pictures of what he fixed and explained everything in complete detail..these guys know there stuff, I would highly recommend this company!!

Had made an appointment with tech on weekend for Monday. Time came Monday and no show. Called office to find out no appointment was scheduled. Was then scheduled. David came and did a super job but feel was over charged for time spent on job as he did not have part and had to go purchase. Common part thermocoupler should be on truck. They do provide military discount. All in all David was very professional. Heater cleaned and up and running.

Ashley was my technician, he did an amazing job on my furnace. My family and I are very greatful we called Silver State. Amazing business price was good and very helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent service overall thank you so much.

UPDATE: The Silver State newbie they sent out struggled here for a couple of hours to give us a false diagnosis. We paid for every minute he was here on the phone trying to get help to figure it out.The next company sent a 20 year veteran in the HVAC industry and he solved it in less than 10 minutes. This new company did not charge us a dime. (I think they felt bad about our having been charged so much by Silver State.) Stay away from Silver State for residential - they are hiring beginners and they charge a FORTUNE.------------------------------Original:For a simple diagnostic and refill of less than 1 unit of coolant, we were presented with a bill of about $350.00. They did spend a fair amount of time trying figure out what was wrong, but their diagnosis turned out to be incorrect anyway. (We had another HVAC company give us a second diagnostic to find the real issue.)They were supposed to provide us with an estimate to replace the system, but never sent it to us.Not recommended.

Silver State Heating & Air has exceeded all our expectations. After a HORRIFIC year long experience with another contractor, they saved us. They came in and fixed the repairs needed. Dave did the repairs and did a phenomenal job! Great attention to detail. Theyre a local family owned company who cares about this community. Bill, the owner, is awesome & cares about people. He is honest & will be fair. I cant say enough about how happy we are now, after a bad experience. We will only use them in the future, if needed. Thank you Silver State!

Fantastic! Alex was my tech today, and after 4 days of freezing cold mornings/nights, he fixed my heater within an hour! Even ran an errand to get me a new filter. Mega friendly, fast, and gave me a quick crash course on what was going wrong with my heater! Not to mention he let my 14 year old beagle almost sniff him to death, all while keeping a great attitude. Highly recommend!

They scheduled an appointment with us a week in advance. The day he was supposed to give us the estimate he no call no showed while we waited for 2 hours. Not professional not courteous DO NOT USE this clown.

Silver State was able to come the next day to fix the problem. Unfortunately the code cleared but, the tech stuck with it and we had heat again. Great service and everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. We recommend them highly.

One of their tech guy came in to check the furnace and after quite he can’t seem to figure it out he called his boss. then after like an hour or so he told me that they think it’s the control board and it needs replacement. and here’s the kicker the guy doesn’t have one. i didn’t know that they only do diagnosing the problem and didn’t have the proper parts to finish the job and the worst part is he charged me $150! bummer

If you want poor customer service and to be left with a furnace functioning well below the levels it was running at before a routine maintenance visit, definitely use these guys. We called Silver State for routine maintenance and the technician had to come back three separate times that very same day because our furnace was suddenly misfiring. After confronting the owner about this, we were challenged about the health of our furnace because we have space heaters in the house. Anyone who owns an oil furnace knows heating oil is not cheap. We use the space heaters when we lower the temp on the thermostat in order to save on oil. While we may have continued to use Silver State despite the serious hick up in our furnaces functioning post their service, after the way the owner treated us we will not be coming back and will not be recommending them. So, now after a simple routine maintenance visit, we have a furnace that previously worked well and now needs to be reset weekly and a big bill (that includes a part we did not authorize the installation of). If you have an old oil furnace, or if you really just want good work done by respectable and respectful technicians and business owners, perhaps check out one of the other heating and air companies in town.

Great people and great service

We have used Silver State Heating and Air for two years now and we love them! David is by far the best technician we have ever used! Our unit is several years old and was about to break. Every HVAC company that came to our house wanted to replace it. Instead of selling us a $6k AC unit, David found the problem and installed a $50 dollar control unit and now it runs like its brand new! As an added bonus, they are very reasonable and they treat you like family. Highly recommended!

So I scheduled an appointment a week ago, came home on my lunch break to meet the technician. Waited 15 minutes after he was supposed to show up. I called and the technician didnt even know he had an appointment.Their secretary sucks, if you use them call 30 minutes before the appointment so you dont waist your time if they didnt schedule your appointment.

Wonderful service, owner came to my house himself, came early and provided me with a very detailed and thorough quote.
