Awesome people . My son takes lessons here, which I recommend. Instructors are knowledgeable. Joe my son Instructor uses my sons love for anime and the music in it to teach him how to play. I also purchased a Casio weight key with a plethora sounds . Love to hear him playing in his room whats he has learned. Sign up the kiddos 👍

Justin, an employee at this location of Guitar Center, took care of me and answered the questions I had, which such questions were in regard to a used item within their store. Considering, too, that he provided for more than answers to my questions, I am grateful for his customer service toward me. Also, given that our interaction was all over the phone, his performance was great!

Great customer service. Very competitive prices!! They also buy used gear so when you get tired of your set up you can go trade it in towards a new one....you can also come in and play with the instruments so that way you know Youre gonna like it before you commit to it

My daughter asked me to go with her to pick out a new guitar for her business - Heart Strings Music Therapy...She has been using a Little Martin since 2015 and it was time to celebrate her business success. So she treated herself to a new Taylor.GC had the largest selection of small bodied guitars perfectly suited to a young lady, or even a child.We were able to hang out and play all of them.The staff was friendly and eager to help.Overall, a great experience.

I’ve never been to this GC before. Roberto was nice enough to assist me. He has incredible passion and knowledge about music. I will definitely be coming back because of this dude

What I ordered was fine . They didn’t have it in stock so I had to order it to be shipped to the store ( couldn’t send it home bc it was a gift for my husband and I didn’t want him to see it) I clicked the link for curbside pickup like the email told me - I chatted and said I was the **** car blah blah & it auto responded that I had checked in and someone was getting my order. 15 minutes later I look at the chat again and it would let me check in again bc it said I had no items for pickup so I figured someone had already checked it out and was in the way to me . 5 minutes after I finally just went inside and asked if I could pick it up instead bc I had waited for 20 minutes outside and nobody had brought me anything. She then had to look me up. They don’t check the chat for curbside pickup bc nobody even knew I was out there and what I ordered was still in the back.

Went in on Monday. Only 2 employees in the store running the place and 1 was on his phone everytime I saw him. No one spoke to me or offered help. Was looking for my son a guitar but I guess I will have to go elsewhere. Last time we went in all the employees were hanging out playing the drums at the front and offered no help. Seems thats just business as usual here unfortunately.

Friendly staff and a great place for music lovers. They have pretty much everything any musician would need or want. Affordable instruments and not so affordable instruments lol. Wish I could go more often, but my wife would kill me because Id buy something everytime Id go 🤣🤣🤣

The experience I had this evening was the best experience in a music store that I have ever had in my life. Mark helped me from the moment I walked into the store even though it was packed. He guided myself and my friend through a number of drum kit options and ended up selling us a kit/cymbal package for an amazing deal. Mark went a stepped further after I purchased the kit by personally replacing each drum head, free of charge (they had been played on) as well as tuned them, while still dealing with a packed store and helping other customers. The service I received evening was the epitome of customer service. Thank you Mark 👍🏾

Always nice to be there. Got a guitar on sale and the guitar tech. Lowered the bridge, then I got the guitar home and it had dead notes. Brand new guitar too. A shame

Staff is unprofessional, and sadly will rip off there customers. Also the past couple times I didnt buy their over priced insurance for guitars.. they acted like I was wasting there time.Why work in retail if your just going to be rude.

This is the Guitar Center you want.Heres some background. I have been going to Guitar Centers since the 90s. I have been to WAY too many to remember. Some have been great, and some have been really bad. Recently, there have been a lot more bad stores than good. And thats unfortunate, because local music stores are going away, and these big companies like Guitar Center have taken over. So we have no choice but to go to these stores, to get and see quality instruments. We also have no choice with dealing with who they employ, which for the most part are people that I do not care to talk to. Theres a huge difference between being an expert, and being an arrogant know it all. It is the complaint I hear all the time from my musician friends. This is why I deal with Guitar Center online. Its a very useful and efficient tool. You just click, and order. However, EVERYTIME I send an email asking for information about an item at a local store, I have never received a follow up email. Until yes....this time.Thank you to Marc, and your store. Keep doing what your doing. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me about a guitar I wanted. I will keep coming to you for my guitar purchases.Well done.

One of the staff members was very rude, he came over and interrupted my son and I, asking us a highly charged political question then when we told him our position he got huffy and asked us to leave. We didnt argue we just left, keyboards on Amazon are way cheaper anyway. I wont be back.

Was refused service and told to leave the store. Corporate policy requires masks and i can not wear one. There is no law currently requiring masks. They violated my civil rights, this is a public accommodation open for business. Will be filing lawsuit. And complaint with ADA.

Wonderful customer service!

I had two guitars setup and new pickups wired on one. Both guitars were setup poorly and came back fretting out on the upper frets. The pickups were wired backwards. I would recommend looking elsewhere for tech work and setups..

Went and bought a Taylor acoustic guitar with my Dad. Staff was very helpful and tried to answer any questions. They let us play multiple instruments before we eventually decided on the Taylor. They have a wide variety of guitars and also have some keyboards and drum sets. They do have some kids that like to come and there and try to make beats and beat on the drums so that was kind of annoying. Maybe they could set the volume control on the drums lower or something, I dont know .... Anyways great place to buy a guitar.

They have a HUGE selection of whatever youre looking for at this store. The staff is very great and knowledgeable of the products they sell. I was looking to purchase an electric guitar and amp for my son which I knew nothing about. The salesman was very helpful in making sure I made the best selection. They have anything from beginner to advanced set-ups.

I called Guitar Center Spartanburg earlier today to ask about a guitar I was interested in. I talked to someone named Justus, who talked to me about the instrument and sent me pictures of it in a very timely manner. This was by far the best service I had from any Guitar Center I called. It was a pleasure working with them and their store as a whole! Thank you!

Overall I was pleased with my shopping experience. Guitar Center was suggested by a friend of mine. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked that I had an opportunity to browse without being asked every 10 seconds if I needed help. However, when I was ready to purchase and had questions the staff was very helpful. On my 1st visit I left my wallet at home and the staff was kind enough to hold my items until I returned about an hour later. Thats what I call good customer service. I will definitely be back.

Literally stood in line and not ONE person offered assistance of any kind. Each person casually walked away helping other customers. I get it. But COMMUNICATE with those that are waiting. Let them know youre with another customer. Any sort of acknowledgment! On the flip side, they did greet me as I walked in. Also, instrument selection is limited.

The store in Spartanburg, has been very helpful to me since they opened. They always try to give me a great deal and the most for my trade ins, which usually are in great shape. Very kind staff and I hope to be working there someday. Go see them.

This place is amazing. They have pianos, drums, guitars you can try out. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. Also there is this peaceful wooden room where you can try out different acoustic guitars. I was in there Saturday and there were 2 guys playing the acoustic guitars they wowed me and they were nice. I do wish I knew there names though.

Everything about this place was amazing the customer service was very friendly and punctual. They gave me a lot of insight on their lessons and different types of instruments. And for people with children its a nice place to go. Theyre not like other places where you go and bring children theyre constantly watching them or telling them to stop they were very friendly and children friendly.

Good people. Great service. Liked the fact I wasnt attacked by 20 sales people to buy something I really didnt want or need. They always seem to have plenty of stock of what you could want. Easy in and out parking makes this a fun place to stop by and browse.

Love their acoustic room and electronic percussion equipment. Friendly staff is a plus too. I love it, cant visit without spending an hour at minimum.
