Awesome, on time. Barely heard them there while working. Half the price as first company quote. My AC and furnace work better than the system I had before. They even came out earlier than anticipated to get up and running before our next heat wave. Will recommend to everyone!
Excellent Service performed by Devin and Mike. Showed up on time. Very professional, personable and competent. Big shout out to these guys and a big thank you to Erin in reception for going the extra mile with such excellent customer service. This type of service is becoming a thing of the past and it is a real breath of fresh air to see Norco employees with an old school work ethic. You are setting the bar for the rest. Thank you all.
Highly knowledgeable, professional, responsive and thorough! I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing Heating and Air Conditioning services. We are very pleased with our new system they provided and the process for us to get it.
Last week my central air quit working. I called three different companies for a service call. Two of them were a month out and the service call fees were $99 and $100 plus tax. Norco quoted me three days out and $69.00 for the service call. Daniel called me same day and was out to my house within a few hours. He replaced my capacitor in a few minutes and had it up and running. Well this week with the hot af weather, my ac has been over taxed. It’s not working properly (we haven’t had it serviced in two years, our fault) so I called Norco again. Daniel again called me same day and got me on the schedule. He is also going to set me up on a yearly maintenance schedule which will give me 15% off parts and no service call charge. I’m very impressed with this company’s service and Daniel has been especially patient and great to work with. I highly recommend them.
My a/c went out right before we got 112 deg temps in Spokane. Called around to get some quotes and I realy like the guy that came out. He was an installer before he was a estimator so he new his stuff. Had the new a/c installed and had some problems but they came back out quickly and got them taken care of. Very responsive and good communication. I would recommend them to friends.
Had five quotes from various companies, and chose Norco as our AC installer, mainly based on a family members recommendation. They were easy to work with, scheduled me in quickly (I know theyre really busy with the hot spring weve had) and everyone I came in contact with acted very professionally. The two installers that came were the quietest Ive ever had for home repairs and were quite efficient. Thrilled to have a new AC up and running, and happy to recommend Norco to others.
Our AC went out during the hottest week of the year. Matthew came out in the evening hours and was able to get it fixed in no time at all! Our experience was excellent, very knowledgeable and professional service.
We are very satisfied with our service from Norco! They installed a new gas furnace, new A/C unit, and a new smart thermostat for us. Their estimate was very competitive, and they even included removing the old gas tank as part of their estimate rather than charging us an extra $1000-1500 that some other companies were going to do. The team that installed everything was very efficient and extremely polite and professional. I dont think they realized how much sound travels through our air ducts, so I could hear them pretty well when I was in the babys room and they were working in the utility room below me, but even then they were very polite and professional with each other. They did it all in two days and did a very thorough job cleaning up after they were done. They also took care of all the paperwork for the Avista rebates and the registration for the extended warranty with Lennox, so we didnt have to do a thing besides sign our contract with Norco and pay them. We would definitely recommend them!
$180.00 for ten minutes of the Service Techs on site time.Problem: Our A/C is not blowing cold air. We had the refrigerant filled last year, so we assume there is a leak. We were the ones to discover/bring this up.The Tech checked out our A/C and air system and concluded that he should try refrigerant with some sort of dye to figure out where the leak is. Did he have this dye on hand? No...So, we had to wait 2 weeks for someone to be available to come out just to schedule a second appointment for something as simple as a refrigerant refill... also, refrigerant costs $500... would they charge us an additional $180.00 again just for having to come out again? Who knows... we canceled the second appointment. We feel a bit gouged as we were not told there was a near $200 fee to just have someone come out and tell us what we already knew and didnt have the resolution on hand.... (dye). The pros: The tech was super professional and kind. He waited 20-30 minutes for my husband to get home because he was held up at work. The tech was accommodating that way. He deserves a 5 star.Customer service was overall great, but we just feel like we paid a lot for a whole lot of nothing.
Norco saved the day! In the middle of a record-breaking heatwave (107° today, 111°forecast for tomorrow), our air-conditioning went out. Devin went out of his way to fit us in the extremely busy schedule and got us up and running in no time. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in record time! Devin was so prompt, skilled, and professional - we will be certain to use Norco again if we ever have any other problems with any of our systems.
They were on time and worked hard to complete the job. A/C works great, very pleased.
I have used Norco for 20 years. Always superior, reliable and most importantly, HONEST. Never over charge or diagnose unnecessary repairs.
After 20 years our Hot Water heater started leaking. After discussing all the options we choose an “On Demand” tankless water heater! We will never run out of water again! We choose NORCO Heating & Air Conditioning to install. I was impressed with the work of Casey Pederson and Charles! They were fast and made sure their work area remained clean! I have used them before and will again! I highly recommend the NORCO team!
We have now used Norco a couple of times for maintenance on our old furnace. Both times we had Daniel out, he was very punctual, even a bit early which was nice because we had been a day without heat. Daniel explained everything he did in laymans terms so that we could understand exactly what was going on. Everything about Norcos service was exceptional.
Called to get pilot turned on an old unit. Technician took his time and checked all aspects of the machine, and tested levels of CO2, any gas leaks, machine belt, type of filter, even gave advice about the roof pipe output and how to prevent leaks. Our technician had 14 years with the company and was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He took the time to really check things out for us, to make sure we get started right this winter. Explained their 90 call back policy, which is very fair. Definitely will call them again with all our heating issues.
JESSE CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE ON A SATURDAY WHEN WE WOKE UP WITH NO HEAT- HE HAD THE PROBLEM FIXED IN NO TIME. I HAVE HAD NORCO OUT A NUMBER OF TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT OUTCOME!
Their drivers are a danger to the public. I reported one to the police. His trucks photo is on here unless Norco deleted it.In all fairness as for the company, Im sure they do a great job.
I highly recommend Norco for your heating and AC needs. The installers were great and personable. Answered all my questions and were very considerate. Thank You NORCO and crew.
We experienced an issue with the blower on our HVAC system over the weekend. And although not at all an emergency- we do have an elderly relative on home hospice with us at home and we run the ac to keep the air clear.I rang Norco this morning - and they had a technician here within 2 hours. We were happy to wait until Wed - but they managed to read the situation and take care of us ASAP.The technician was covid respectful, professional, THOROUGH, and personable. He fixed the blower and more. And didnt leave until he was sure our home could be heated AND cooled effectively.Three cheers for Norco!
Norco Heating & Air Conditioning is The Best HVAC company in Spokane, WA. I would refer them to anyone. Their technicians are great & customer service is amazing. Thank you Norco for all you do!
Tiss company horrible and rob ur money. They diagnosis my A/C need to put gas. After 1 day later not cold again .They said need to be sealant my A/C again. After 1 day later not cold again. Then they tell me need change whole unit for $3000 again.Servive very poor and rob my money $500 for unfinished A/C .Never use again unprofessional technian from this company.
Jessee was exceptional. Cannot thank him enough for his hard work and making our AC work again. I hope yall appreciate what you got in him!!
Weve been Norco customers for decades with our furnace needs. So when we decided to get air conditioning we asked for bids from 6 companies but always hoped Norco would be the company we would deal with . Fortunately they had the most reasonable bid.Len, the owner was so easy to deal with as he came across as honest and extremely knowledgeable. In fact his experience saved us hundreds of dollars in installation costs as he saw something most other companies missed. His installers, Isaiah and Cam, were friendly and conscientious as well as efficient. Easily a 5 star company.
By far the best price I found on replacing a 10+ year old heat pump, they also got out same day and got it done. Super good techs, a friendly front office and a sales staff that listened - thank you Norco!
Very professional every step of the way. They were respectful and competent. My new furnace gives me comfort... in knowing Ive got a dependable system and wonderful temperatures throughout my home. Thank you Norco!
We paid $250. for a furnace/air maintenance agreement. The associates were here only 15 minutes. One associate was training another - tested 3 wires - and departed. What a farce! Never again - returned to my former provider who is more expensive, however invests over an hour in maintenance.
I had Norco come to our own home yesterday November 27th to repair our downstairs fireplace. The work they completed was totally satisfactory and was completed in a timely manner. The biggest take away while the technicians were in my home, is the respect and politeness provided by Jessee, the lead technician. It is comforting knowing your employees are representing your company in this manner.
Devon came to our house on Thanksgiving morning when we woke up to no heat. He arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem within minutes, and we had heat about 15 minutes later. He saved the day.
I needed to have my furnace serviced and thought Id reach out to Norco for a quote. Not only were their prices good but Althea scheduled my appointment quickly and that was most convenient for me. Daniel was there at the time the appointment was set for (most impressive) and he immediately found out why my furnace was having problems. He explained what was wrong in a way that I understood (because I have little to know knowledge about a furnace). He was more than polite but also showed me what he did to fix and service the furnace. It runs more efficient than I can remember. It even takes less time to heat the house, which I am very thankful for. Thank you Althea and Daniel (and Norco) for providing excellent service. I will recommend Noroc to everyone I know.
Ive been using Norco for several years for maintenance on my ancient furnace and central A/C. While the equipment was old, they managed to keep it running as good as possible. Other companies had immediately tried to sell me new systems rather than work on my old furnace - even though there was nothing wrong with it except for being old. So when I decided it was finally time to replace them, there was no one else I would even consider calling. I have an old house and upgrades are always a challenge. The installers did a great job. They kept their spirits up, even though it took them longer than planned due to the uniqueness of my house. If youre looking for a trusted company for your HVAC needs, look no further than Norco.
Been using their service for many years. They keep both my A/C and furnace in great condition. I recommend the annual service agreement to everyone. For less than $150.00 you get an annual furnace service and A/C service plus if you have a problem on a week end or holiday they are there at no extra charge. GREAT company, and I have used the other guys.
NORCO installed a complex, state-of-the-art Navien instant-hot boiler system, including wall pipe replacement and retrofit to add radiant heat to the basement and third floor bonus space in our 1910 home in Spokane. This system is over 97% efficient and replaced both an aging water heater and the decades-old 65% efficient boiler. NORCO has the expertise and experience to handle any project or repair; their team is on-time, friendly, cleans up after the job is done. As a Realtor myself, I see clients deal with many vendors, some great but most mediocre. I never hesitate to recommend NORCO to my clients as I trust them as the best in Spokane.
Jesse needs a big raise!! A wonderful employee and I hope you value him as much as I do. He has been to my house twice, is young enough to be my grandson, and is very professional. He quickly assessed my problem and fixed it. I always want Jesse to come to my house! Please put that on my account information.Thank you
Had furnace problems last December and had to make an after hours call to Norco. On the initial visit the technician told me one of several things may be wrong. The furnace started working again, so he told me that he would set me up with a maintenance plan to save me on the two visits, then he would call me back the next day. The furnace stopped working again that night, and I never heard from him again. Called another company when Norco could not send out a technician for several days on a call back (another story.) Finally got another technician from Norco out the following week who did not solve the problem, but at least pointed me in the right direction. I ended up fixing the furnace myself after 10 days without heat. After talking to a manager and getting on of the visits removed from my bill, I was happy to walk away from the situation. That is, until a couple of months ago (9 months after the service) I get a last notice bill in the mail dated March 9 (did not receive a bill in March, which was three months after the service and at least a month after I had paid what the manager and I agreed to.)Poorly managed at best, shady at worst. Either way, I would not recommend.
Through the years, Ive used Norco on 4 or 5 occassions. I have always been pleased.November of 2017, I had Norco out to replace the motor in my furnace. The technician seemed very knowledgeable. When the tech was packing up to leave, he mentioned that he turned down the flame on my furnace. And he leaves.Furnace kicks on, and it runs, and it runs, and it runs, but it doesnt heat my 3000 sq ft home. It use to.So I had him back out. Told him turn up my furnace. He didnt put the flame back where it was. I dont what he did.He had attitude, I believe for having to return. In which, he gave me an a attitude. Tech leaves, furnace still doesnt heat my house. So I go back to heating my house with my free standing gas stove. So Spring and Summer comes along. I forget about my furnace.I just kicked my furnace on for the first time this season. And guess what. It runs, and runs, and it runs. It took 1 1/2 hours to bring my house up from 71 degrees to 72 degrees.Im disappointed in Norco. Theyve lost there touch.Mack Hombel, a disappointed customer
They were helpful over the phone, recommended a few things, sounds like they are experienced and honest.
Id been having trouble regulating the temperature from my NEST thermostat. Id set it for 67 and it would leap to 69 on its own, etc. And ultimately the furnace quite working entirely. I thought I was in for THOUSANDS! But Norcos tech came out and resolved the issue. Its been weeks now, and my $45 service call has returned my system to full operation with a fully cooperative NEST thermostat. Thank you, Norco. And thanks to my friend who recommended Norco to me.
Unreliable and inconsistent. Great sales pitch on their service agreement, but no service. Im going back to R&R, even though they are a bit more costly. I simply can’t express my frustration and disappointment enough. If it was a one-off event, ok. But the issue with this service has been systemic, from Scheduling, to Billing, to actual Service. Too Bad.....
Im sitting in my cozy, warm house with a new furnace for the first time in two weeks thanks to Norco, and specifically thanks to Pete, Daniel, and the boys who did the install.I called Pete on Monday quite distraught and bordering on a mental breakdown having been without heat during the coldest month of this winter season, because 2 other companies couldnt get it together to properly diagnose and repair or replace my 21 year old unit. Its under a home warranty, and getting other companies to communicate with the warranty company was like pulling teeth, not to mention they were trying to go the way of repair rather than replacement despite the fact that replacement is covered and required. My Monday evening phonecall resulted in Pete sending Daniel to my house by 8am Tuesday, then Pete doing measurements and assessment for cost on Wed followed by warranty approval by noon, and then new furnace install on Thursday. If Id stayed with the other company, Id be sitting in a cold house still and probably be dealing with more repair costs before finally getting a replacement of my furnace. Did I mention they arent even concerned about how fast I can pay? Their concern, from start to finish has been to make sure I have heat in my house a nd that Im completely satisfied.A million thanks wont quite cover this level of service, and you guys have guaranteed Ill be a customer for life.
Quality service
This last Feb, my home heating system just quit working so I put my finger on a place to call and called NORCO. I froze for a night and then they sent a young man named Jesse to my home, who said he could hear the problem before we walked into the htr room. He had me fixed up with in an hour and my experience was top! Considerate, so polite and professional. I joined a maintenance program with NORCO and Jesse replaced the dumb and many filters in my system with 1 big one! Just yesterday, I called with new issues with our A/C unit not keeping up. Next door, my son talked to another Co who was replacing the A/C unit for neighbors and they looked at ours too and said we need a new unit for sure! NORCO said, lets wait until Jesse looks at it ok, as a new unit isnt in the budget this summer. Jesse is here on his day off no less! Repairing a leak and filling fluid and because I paid and signed up for the yearly maintenance program in Feb, this visit will cost me a little over a hundred. I have a Paras home, that is 10 years old and the installers of HTG/A/C Ive called for service once and it was the worst ever experience and so expensive ! I cannot say enough positive about NORCO and JESSE! Call them, you will not be disappointed!
They fixed my air conditioner this Summer after a 100 degree weekend, and serviced my furnace prior to selling the home. They show up on time and get the job done right. I will always call Norco for my HVAC needs.
For 24 Hour Emergency service call these guys... they know what they are doing! Tell them Paul sent you.
I believe that it is important to update this review.Norco did come out to make things Right. The owner himself came out to the house and refunded My folks the money they had to pay out to NORCO competitor. The owner sent in a crew the following morning.Thank you NORCO.We are very hopeful that the repairs will be the perminate fix.............My elderly parents had a Lennox gas forced air heating system put in last October 2016 by NORCOWithin the first winter (first month actually) my parents had to have technicians come out no less than 4 times the first winter of install to get the unit going again. When spring came, NORCO were back out here to finally solve the problem. The problem was not solved, here we are again on Christmas Eve no heat. Norco put the system in the attic so every time it gets cold out my poor parents have to crawl up into the a attic with a blow dryer to try and melt the ice in the drainage hose.Today my mom called Norco for service (answering service) 5 times. NORCO NEVER CALLED THEM BACK. She finally called Banner. They explained to her that the on call guy had two other stops but did arrive within two hours of the initial call. THANK YOU BANNER!.The cost for that visit, $320.00.My parents are too old to crawl up in the attick and what are supposed to do shell out hundreds of dollars several times per month just to get some heat.I guess it is obvious that this family is very unhappy with NORCO.
Horrible service. Should of paid the extra buck for a more reliable company.
Once again, Norco Heating saved the day! Our air conditioner went out in the middle of a heat spell and Norco came out and installed a new unit. The old unit was 20+ years old and needed replacement anyway.
Lenny and crew have always been awesome.
For over 6 weeks have tried to get this company out to install a cross over duct. They show up and call saying they are there to do work without any previous calls. Then when you press them for an appointment they are 2 weeks or more out. Call R&R or A1 hearing and cooling instead.
Says they are open but they arent. Answering service was rude, no furnace and cant even get them to call a tech
What a great company.
