Craig knows his stuff! I took my dryer element in thinking a thermistor was bad, based on the fault code the dryer was giving. He diagnosed everything, sold me a $14 thermal fuse and when I got home I fixed the dryer based on his expert diagnosis. Ill use him everytime going forward!

I had a dryer not heating so I wanted to see if it was something I could fix. Took out a couple of parts that I could get to easily. Took them in and had him check them out, well they were both good. Then he asked me the model number and looked up the wiring diagram and explained what other issues are possible. Then if all fails, the names of a couple of repairmen that would be able to help. I appreciate the help.

Excellent customer service. Our RV refrigerator stopped working and after some research we thought the fan needed to be replaced. After calling other local parts suppliers and either getting misleading info or parts that weren’t readily accessible, we called Appliance Parts Mart. They not only confirmed the fan as the likely problem, but were able to get one the next day.

Craig was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. If you need anything, I would strongly suggest getting it from these folks.Most companies care about making money, these guys/gals care about getting your problem solved correctly.They may be slightly higher than some fly by night internet outlet, but if you get the wrong part online, have to send it back, to get another... did you REALLY save anything?I would strongly recommend these caring folks for all your appliance needs.

His advice and knowledge has saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars on appliance repair. Can you save a couple of bucks from buying online? Sure, but there is way more value in the service and advice you get here. Besides, Craig is just a genuinely nice guy as well.

Stand up Kenmore freezer started making a loud squealing noise. Through inspection and research discovered it was the evaporator fan going bad. On line replacement fans were about $145. Called Appliance Parts Mart and was told I was on the right track for repairs. Sold me a universal fan and gave several simple instructuons to make installation easier. Cost $33 dollars saving me money and had the part in stock so no waiting for delivery. I will be going here for any other appliance repair needs!!! Very satisfied.

I will admit that I have never purchased anything from here but Craig helped me out with a sticky problem which involved lots of calling around on his end. He promptly called me back with his findings and although he couldnt help me (because the parts are no longer made) he made sure I knew what my options were and what his opinion was. I never felt rushed or that I was wasting his valuable time. I will make sure to give him my business the next time I need something!

This is a great place to get your appliance parts. Ignore the person who claimed they were over-charged, if you really know what youre doing and know the exact part you have of course youre likely to find it cheaper online. The point is to get good customer service and support your local business.

I went in because I couldnt get my immersion blenders 2 parts screwed together. It was close, but I just couldnt do it. I took it in and he tried doing it himself and also couldnt get it together, thank heavens, so I wasnt so embarrassed. However, then he started tinkering with it, took it somewhat apart, back together and it worked when he plugged it in, but it made a noise. So he did some more adjustment and oiled the bearings- who knew?- plugged in, worked quietly. Great job. It probably took him 15 minutes and he wouldnt accept payment.

Purchased a dishwasher heating element and now a washer motor coupling here. Always friendly and very helpful. Glad to support this small business.

Owner is helpful and reasonably priced. We have been here a number of times. This time we came in with our Professional 6 KitchenAid mixer for repair. He said that it should be repaired in about a week. We have since decided that the mixer is not worth the price of repair, which is over $200.00. We are going to get the slightly smaller Artisan 5 quart model for $280.00. Owner advised us to get this Artisan model, because it has the older and better motor, which KitchenAid has been using for about forty years. It also has a fiber gear, which strips away when there is trouble, so the other gears are saved per the owner, who has a wealth of information regarding small appliances. Consumer Reports says the Artisan 5 quart model, which we are getting, can handle a two loaf bread recipe, which is the only reason that I originally bought the larger model, because I make big recipes of heavy bread dough. Now I have decided that a better motor as described above is more important than the 6 quart capacity. We left our old 6 quart mixer with Parts Mart, so he can use the parts. And it was my fault that my old mixer broke--I tried to mix a frozen stick of butter. Owner of Parts Mart said the two things that will ruin a mixer are frozen butter and hard brown sugar. I wish that someone would have told me. Maybe since I am 76 years old I should have known better, but I was in a hurry! Dont put frozen butter or hard brown sugar in your mixer bowl and try to mix it right away!

The owner of this store is extremely knowledge, always quickly gets the parts that are needed. Highly recommend. Also the store is kind of a museum of older appliances, very cool.

Really good spot. The heating element in my dryer burnt up. I took in the broken one. Before I knew it, the guy behind the counter had found the exact replacement part from the rows of shelves. He even went on to explain why the old heating element burnt up, and how to prevent it from happening again. It cost a bit more than if I had ordered it online. But getting it the same day, getting advice on preventing further problems, and supporting a local business made it well worth it.

Craig is AMAZING!! ID give him 10 stars if I could!! Replaced my boiler in my Espresso machine and even handled a few part adjustments to make it work!

I came in for a blender repair and was told I had a special seal on the lid causing the blender to not work. He showed me what to do. Then I mentioned I needed to bring my espresso maker in to him. When I told him the problem, he told me how to fix it myself.I will always go here. I have been many times and always get great service.

I almost never leave reviews, however I feel the need to leave one today for Appliance Parts Mart.I have never been to Appliance Parts Mart before today and was planning to buy my parts online like I normally do for everything else that I need but I am glad that I didnt.I went in there today on my way home from work expecting to spend around 50 or 60 dollars for a repair kit that I saw online. I explained what my dryer was doing and the guy behind the counter suggested that I may only need new rollers and not a whole kit. He also explained the reason for the rollers to wear out and not the rest of what I was expecting to replace. Sure enough when I got home and took the dryer apart I saw exactly what he described and for just under 20 dollars the problem is now fixed.I would highly recommend Appliance Parts Mart before going anywhere else including online. We even ended up talking about motorcycles and tires for awhile, so clearly he is not looking for a quick sale like most companies but rather truly cares about making sure the customer repairs what is needed rather than throws money at a problem.Thanks again guy behind the counter, you were right that roller shaft wasnt out of round but rather just polished I rotated it as you suggested if it had been though just for good measure.

He is always helpful even if it doesnt make him a dime.

Ive been dealing with these folks for probably 20+ years and have never had anything but good experiences with them. Very knowledgeable, friendly and always seem to have whatever it is that I need.

We bought 2 replacements parts for our dryer from them, and was charged a total of $93.21. Came home and looked up the parts online because we thought that was ridiculously expensive, and found out we could get them online for $23 total. Took the items back (never removed from box) the next day and was charged a 20% restocking fee (which applies to all returns) which they said was to cover card charge fees, and cost us about $18. I dont know any credit or debit card company that charges a company 20% of each transaction. Ridiculous. What a rip off!!! Look ANYWHERE else before going here!
