Wow. Great selection! They have everything. The selection of sauces and spices is incredible. Fresh produce. Huge frozen foods selection. Very helpful and polite. My new favorite Asian grocery in Spokane!
I would rate zero if I could as this is the rudest store in town. They always stare as if you will steal from them. They do not honor the price as marked so today after paying double what their pricing listed I feel they stole from me. I choose not to shop here ever again!!! And it’s not even about the money it’s about their attitude and I can see why their store is Usually empty
They had a good selection of herbs for Asian food that no one else has, pricing was very reasonable
Worst customer service. Agree with all the others about the staring like you are about to steal from them.
Nice little market, the produce here is surprisingly good. I wish they carried a couple more items, but I can find them at other locations.
Decent selection but very rude. I usually go to best Asian market bc it is clean and organized. Vina Asian market was unorganized and I was tripping over boxes. Also did not feel welcome as they were looking at me with dirty looks. Would not recommend will stick to Best Asian Market on E Sprague street
A small, but good little store.
They stare at me in the store like Ima steal something. Its like they are so unhappy with themselves and it shows. Dang at least act like you want people to come back. Cold vibes for sure.
I’m glad I found this Asian store but it’s so hard to communicate with the lady in the cashier and she is also rude and doesn’t know how smile at all.
Overcharged and not very friendly, horrible parking
Since Best Asian Market closed, Ive been in search of alternatives, and thought Id try this one. Like some other reviewers, I found the atmosphere a shade chilly. The selection wasnt too good, but I didnt feel like staying too long to look around. I couldnt find Yakisoba noodles, and the elderly owner, though he tried, didnt seem to know what I was talking about. No lime juice. I did by a couple cans of vegan soup base, but I was a little shocked when they rang it up at $7.50 a container, compared to 5.99 at Best Asian. The owners arent terrible, but the place is just a little too uncomfortable, and Im probably going to write it off as an option. I suspect those who gave it stellar reviews are a bit toxic in their positivity.
Good store has a lot of things I need for my restaurant that I cant find in town.
Nice place, owners werent friendly.
Found everything I needed to attempt my hand at Thai Tom Yum soup. Gentlemen behind the register helped me find two items as Ive never used the products before and had no idea where to find them. Seems like they have a very good selection of Asian goods. Produce was fresh.
Often times don’t have the best customer service and their items are either dusty on the shelves or have been there sitting out for days. Def. needs cleaning too!
It varries, sometimes fairly good, other times not so much.
The cashier/co-owner (?) could learn some customer service. They could attract more customers and sell.more. she never smiles, does not greet the customer and when you.ask her about a certain product she just says I dont know. No interest at all in bring there! So sad coz they they have good products, better priced and their store is more organized than their competitors.
Price gouging rice and ramen. All nonperishable food has doubled in price. Big bags of rice went up by $20. All prices are on stickers and sharpies. Can clearly see what previous price was compared to current. A small 2lb bag WAS $3 and is now $10. This is so wrong. The cashier and owner were really rude and had lack of basic customer service skills. This is why us asians have such a greedy reputation. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Pretty cool Asian market. Got what I needed. Close to the house. There is no problem with customer service at all. Honestly its just a big language and culture barrier. What these Asian markets need is another employee that will come around and assist you. If you want something. You are better off searching it on google. Were talking about these Vietnamese Ladies. They are not the problem. Ask a Korean about Korean recipes, ask a Laotian about Lao food, etc. and they are really friendly with my son, waving, making funny faces with him. So... stop being so sensitive about being treated unfairly. You want to have someone welcome you with open arms, take the extra mile and go to Costco.
I really enjoyed going to this market. The owners were freindly and helpful. Its a clean and well organized place. My husband shops here regularly. He had a purpose and found everything he needed for a recipe, at a very reasonable price. I on the other hand, went here to enjoy all the packaging, bright colors, beautiful kitchenware, trinkets and treats. We both left happy...
People are great and always very helpful. Prices are good and cheaper than a regular grocer. They always have what I need
Im sorry people have had bad experiences here. The son of the owners is super-friendly and helpful, hes gone out of his way to help me when Ive shopped there. I have been there when a couple of women were minding things and they were just very quiet. Its good for them to get feedback so hopefully the customer service will improve. They have some things there that I havent found at other Asian markets in Spokane....
A few interesting finds, but overall the store has a very limited selection.
Amazing stock!!! They had great variety and the young man at the counter carried out my case of coconut milk without me even asking. Not 5 stars because of the somewhat rude lady who answered the phone, yelling odd things at me. Lol
So much to choose from. The two people that appeared to be the owners did not speak English, so it was a little difficult finding what we were looking for. But the gentleman really tried to help us. I am planning another trip to get familiar with the store, so I wont have to ask for help. They have so much stuff!!! And it all looked so fresh
On July 31st, I bought expired soy milk in this store. I cant drink it. I wont give it back when I go back. The service attitude is very poor. I will never go there again to buy something.
Great place to shop for Asian food and items, but it has a couple of problems. Once, one of my kids touched a banana in curiosity (since it was so small) and the older lady got angry at us. Also, we went there when they were putting up shelfs, which was loud and annoying. The selection is great but sometimes they slack and they dont restock the items. Also, when you go there make sure you look at the dates! Sometimes they give you over expired stuff and you cant return them!
Good selection of items not found in regular grocery stores.
I shop here almost every week for the last couple of months. The old lady is EXTREMELY rude at us when she is there. Mean to my kids who get excited to try new treats from the snack selections. The old lady would make us feel bad & started scolding us in Vietnamese for even touching the packaging. Today I asked if they had fresh galangal rather than the moldy pieces that have been on the shelf for weeks. She went in the back, grabbed an even worse looking galangal, I pointed them out to her, told her I didn’t want it. She went to chop the moldy pieces off right In front of me and handed it to me. I refused & she furiously threw the herb into a bin with a loud bang. I went back into the store after loading and told her she has been an extremely rude owner each time we come in. I’m the customer, she needs to be nice to her customers or she will lose even more customers. Will not be returning there. Awful!
They have great Asian selections and foods. Love rhe products. But the employees are what kinda make me not like the place. They sit around. They arent also really nice to people with kids. When kids get touchy, the lady kind of scolds them. You can also see the lady talking or scolding other costumers. Great place tho.
Great place. Much better prices than other local Asian markets. Parking could be better
Great selection of Vietnamese/asian grocery goodies that are otherwise hard to find. Great prices and service.
Moma-san was the sweetest lady ever!
Employees are always pleasant, store has a lot of stuff for the size of the building and I can usually find what Im looking for there.
Some things sold arent ripe yet. Not ready for sale. E.g. Jackfruit. You pay abt $7. 99 a lb. But Inedible
I came up from vegas to visit my parents, found this place. Wish they had more stuff there but, I was glad they had a decent Asian grocery store here in Spokane.
Very good place to get oriental foods and ingredients
Very nice people can talk spanish and excellent english we go there 1x a month due its a ways to town from valley clean and well stocked store never a bad product i love that whitepeach milk look drink non carbinated good price big bottle!
Great little store and the price are alway right, friendly, I come very often.
When I went shopping here it seemed a little hectic because there was some construction going on inside the grocery but other than that the staff was friendly. The store has a variety of products from multiple different cultures and countries.
Has poor customer service.....lady that works there does not know how to treat customers especially the one with children. Somebody please teach her how to give customer service before she scares all their customers away.
Its a nice market the problem is the parking now they close the back gate which is very convenient to park instead in the front few parking hard to get out from busy street of Francis street Im not sure if thats a temporary its used to be open easy to get in and park and out
My go to place for fish sauce and pho ingredients. They also have a small deli case with nem and banh mi for really cheap. cam on / Tôi khuyến khích nó
Great selection of products, can always find what I am looking for
Vina has an excellent selection of products from all over asia, from the mundane to the strange. I always try to buy something random and weird, just to experience new things. Some of their fruit is unique to anywhere else in town and i love it!Most of the employees struggle with english, but they are extremely helpful and smile a lot. There always seems to be at least one person there that speaks fluent english thoughn so if there ends up being a miscommunication, they are quick to have that person help out.All in all, this olace is great!
Great little place with good prices
Its in my neighborhood and always has the trimmings the main grocery store doesnt have for authentic Asian dishes.
This place IS NOT customer friendly, tried 4 times NEVER again... The ladies that run it are NOT nice, they will purposefully lead white people to the wrong section,,, asked for Kinako powder showing her a picture and she leads me to caned stuff... They dont even try to speak or communicate with you.... My 18 year old son who is half Korean was treated like crap also on a visit... hope this place goes out of business,, and these people are the kind of imagrents that give others such a bad name!!!
Lots of merchandise in a small location. Has a little bit of everything you need
You can find many kind a fish you would to eat them
Ood selection, nice people, decent prices
Great little market fair prices
Interesting shop, worth a look
Not a huge store, but good variety and good prices.
Mmmm shrimp chips
Make sure to checking on dates when you guys shop there because many products are out of date and you are not allowed to return your purchased items when you leave their store. I afraid to make any purchase or shop there again
Slacks on welcoming customers and comforting them .
Horrible, the people who manage this place are very unfriendly. I have been to several asian markets in Spokane and this is by far the worst.
Food was very good and served very quickly.
Very clean store, well orginized, not cluttered
I do like going here because you can get different things for different countries
Lots of moldy vegetables. Eeww.
Wai waiSticky rice
Fantastic selection and helpful staff.
Good pricing a lot of what I like
My wife is Filipino, and this is her favorite Asian market of all the Asian markets located in the Greater Spokane area...
Pretty good Vietnamese food
I often find what I need
Great products at a great price
Had the items we were looking for no one else had
This is not a restaurant but an Asian grocery store. Its an okay place, not too clean and the veggies are not fresh and should be taken of the shelves.
Great but expensive
If the owners or associates would have a welcome face ...
They dont have much of Asian foods.
Very rude to my 8year old son wow!
