This service was wonderful. They got it done in a very timely manner, and were great with price. I am very cautious about prices with any car repair shop I go to, so I like to double check with trusted friends and family who are educated in the field. My friends all told me that these prices were very fair and right. This is a very trustworthy place!

I’ve had decent experience at this place. The South Hill location is a lot better.I went in to buy brand new tires & have them put on. I also requested they do an alignment after putting on the tires. The guy quoted me at about $580 which included the alignment fee. Several hours later, they call me and tell me they found several broken parts on/near my tires & wheels, and they were going to charge an additional $57 for labor for one of the parts. $57???! Then they say they “can’t perform the alignment because all my tire rods are bad”. Well, somehow, even without the $89 + tax alignment fee, they still charged me just over $660. I would’ve appreciated an accurate quote to begin with.Also, I went to Les Schwab a few days later and they performed an alignment with no issues. My tire rods are just fine.

They were professional but I dont think theyre the best mechanics. Mechanics Pride told me my vehicle was electrical and they could not repair it. When I brought the car to my regular mechanic at Country Homes he saw a loose wire immediately and tell me it would be ready the next day. $60 repair which I was told would be 3 to $500 Mechanics Pride... basically the wire was two fans that cool the radiator down. But the wire was a very obviously hanging down. Friendly service though

My car needs to replace the lower bulbs in front, they did really fast, very nice communication, excellent service,. There very detail and show me the parts that they will replace... Really I recommend this place, they are very friendly and helpful, specially they get the parts very quick and wonderful job. the price excellent. I really happy for this place

These guys really take care of their customers. They are always in communication when they are working on my vehicles. They even took the extra step to honor the warranty on my daughters used transmission after 3 months of her driving it. She broke down in Moscow Idaho and Mechanic Pride even paid to have it towed back to Spokane so THEY could fix her car themselves!! 🥰 I will ALWAYS come back here and I gladly refer everyone I know to them! 😁

This place is the real deal. These are mechanics—not salesmen. They’re courteous people and honest w/ their customers. They take the time to explain what they’re doing and why, and won’t rush to oversell you on work you don’t need. So refreshing. They also gave me a ride back home when I dropped the car off and didn’t leave my interior black and sticky once the work was done. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that they had my car for almost a week—which was fine—but I had to call once or twice to get updates from them. Honestly, this isn’t a jab at their level of customer service at all, they’re just super busy and could definitely benefit from a dedicated front desk person to field all their calls. Overall, no complaints. I’d definitely come back to this shop.

They were forthright and transparent with me. They treated me with respect and gave advice to not proceed with certain repairs, but rather to upgrade my quite old high-milage vehicle (with a referral to a reputable used car dealer with similar models). They could have started working and billed me. Instead, they called and explained that the repairs were likely to quickly domino to more expensive labor situations. They didnt even charge me for the labor and advice leading up to the call. Thats how you make customers for life!

Great experience! My A/C unit stopped working and I took it to MPT&A to have it looked at. They kept me in the loop, as they figured it all out and provided realistic options on how to move forward. In the end, I am very satisfied with their service.

Everyone is personable and friendly. We recently needed to have our car towed in to be worked on, and they did a great job in fitting it in their schedule and getting it fixed quickly.

I had a bearing go bad on me related to the power steering tensioner pulley. I luckily Had someone in a small town help me to repair it after finding a similar pulley in a nearby junk yard. I had drove from California... although mechanics pride was 30 cars deep into being busy, they took my truck (for a couple nights- i thankfully had a friend nearby to stay with) and made sure the pulley was installed properly, and also did an oil change, checked my brakes/fluids, etc. Im now in eugene, oregon and the truck has been driving like a dream. Thank you for your help! These guys also discovered a leak from my power steering gear box, with which they were very honest/direct about the cost, potential side effects, and timeline to fix, as well as any danger to not fix this issue immediately. They were never pushy about anything and made sure to confirm before doing any work on the vehicle. 10/10 would go back and recommend them to anyone. They know what theyre doing and are very nice and accommodating.

Mechanic’s Pride was professional and honest with the work that needed to be done. They were upfront about the cost and I never felt pressured to agree to a service. Each recommendation was fully explained to me, which helped me make an informed decision about what work I wanted done now and what could wait for a later date.

Didnt know what was wrong with my car, all the employees here took time to explain things to me without making me feel belittled. I was nervous to take my car to a shop but I dont feel like I was ripped off or told I needed a thousand other things done. Cost was very reasonable and repair was quick. I’m new to owning a car, but aware of the constant risks of being taken advantage of my mechanics and am not super familiar with car design and issues. The staff of Mechanics Pride were patient with me, did not pressure me about making repairs or doing so through them, thoroughly explained the issues my car had, and seemed reasonably priced compared to previous mechanics I had visited. They completed the work quickly and efficiently, test drove it to be sure, and followed up with me a few days later to check on the car. Definitely would recommend and will be returning again with any other issues I may have.

I got in my car this morning to a nasty smell due to a mouse stuck in my heating unit. I called a bunch of places but no one could get me in until next week. Thankfully, Mechanics Pride got me in and repaired it today in spite of already having thirty cars ahead of me. Without that, we would have had to deal with the nasty smell for several days or more. Not only that, but the service was prompt, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend them!

Ive changed my rating for you guys. Maybe I was jumping to conclusions when after 20 minutes of actual run time after my oil change I heard some terrible noises coming from the engine compartment. Opened the hood to find the upper radiater hose had come completely off and antifreeze all over the engine and the ground with the radiator almost empty. Not good! Your fault? I would certainly hope not. Im giving you the benefit of the doubt. Gave you a 4.

I brought my vehicle in to get a Radiator Flush, & to have my brakes checked out. The Radiator Flush went well, a little over priced, but at the time I was kind of ok with that. They strongly suggested that I get my front brakes done ASAP! They said I barely had any front pads left, & needed to get front & back Rotors & pads. I took my vehicle to another place to check my brakes. They took me in the back & let me see that my front Rotors were great, & my pads still have over 50% left on them. However, yes, my back brakes & Rotors needed to be attended to.

We had an car emergency. Hours from home. We called them up and they had us come in. Not only did they look busy but got our car in so we could get home. And they did it within just a few hours of getting there. They recommended a great place to eat (we had a our little ones with us) while we waited. Reasonably priced and trust worthy.

Working out of town, on my way home on a 5 hour trip I realized my ball joint was making noise. Upon slight inspection I decided to look for the nearest shop. After reviewing the positive feed back I decided this place would have my business. I called them expecting this would be a days worth of waiting. I was instructed by Mike to bring it by within the hour for a free inspection. I did that and was surprised by the fast service. My repairs were on paper itemized and for a very reasonable price. I went ahead and agreed to get it done. I walked down the road to the waterfalls and wondered around for an hour or so. When I returned my vehicle was ready and not only was my ball joint fixed, but all my grease fittings were greased and filled, and my vehicle was ready for the long drive home. Im very thankful for the quick and HONEST friendly service. I would recommend this place and the manager who i believe is also the owner was very professional and great customer service. 30+ years of service o see why they are still around!

Took my car in because I had a 4 cylinder misfire.Two days later my check engine light came back on so I had it checked and I had another 4 cylinder misfire.

This place absolutely saved me! I was traveling from Montana to the Shriners Children’s hospital and my alternator went out. Because of COVID I was by myself. They got my car in and had it fixed the next day and I was able to make the 6 hour trip back home without any problems! Cannot thank them enough for getting me back on the road in such a short tome

I was amazed that Mike was able to get me in quickly and have my rig repaired within hours. I came into the shop from NV on a road trip. I was pretty confident my issue was my frozen emergency brake cable. Mike confirmed it sounded likely. It was indeed the issue, and he was transparent with pricing and the resolutions he could offer. He didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. Great shop!!

The didnt try to scam me or anything; rather, they simply went over everything and told me what needed to be fixed (my cousin was in from out of town and he is a mechanic and he verified everything this shop told me), and they performed high quality work at reasonable prices! If youre looking for an honest mechanics shop that performs excellent work, this is the place!

Mike is the best in town period. Good or bad news, Mike has always been honest with me he will give it to you straight. Mike demands overall quality craftsmanship. I consider myself a car guy and I know mechanics pride carries the best parts in town. I’ve been given the run around, lied to, and been ripped off at almost every shop in town until I met Mike. The kicker is, you would think all this quality, customer service, and attention to detail would be crazy expensive but Mike is also very fair and competitive on pricing. Its a lovely world when your closest mechanic (we live in Brownes) also happens to be the best and cheapest in town. My wife and I have both had our cars serviced here. Weve had great experiences each time.. upfront communication and quick service. Even though its downtown, they lock up and secure cars between working hours. Will be returning for years to come 👍

They are always quick, kind and do an amazing, professional job. We have three vehicles we take to them, two of which we used to always have serviced by the dealerships. The dealerships do not do quality work and overcharge. Always complete satisfaction with Mechanics Pride.

My family goes there to get their cars oil change so I went there to for the first time, they asked me if I needed my car back in a short amount of time and I said they can take as long as they need. Took about 4 hours, charged me about $90 and later realized they over charged me for it. I went back the next day with my boyfriend, told them they charged me for 5 quarts of oil when I should’ve only gotten 4. They told me that that’s standard for most vechicles and in the system it’s automatically set to 5, they gave the money to my boyfriend, not me, and I was the one who paid, and told them about the overcharge. Not terrible service, decent people work there. Just know how much oil your vehicle takes.

This is probably the best shop in town. I just used them for the first time and I will literally never go anywhere else now. Mike and all of the people that work here are super friendly. My insurance company wasnt on the ball and Mike was extremely communicative and on top of it even when he had to deal with all of the problems they caused. Got the car back in better condition than when I brought it to them too. My girlfriends car was an embarrassing mess and they even cleaned it up which I was not expecting at all and am extremely grateful for. If you want a shop that does excellent work and is extremely friendly, look no further. They deserve every Best of Spokane award they have hanging on the wall behind their counter. Do not go here. They tried scamming me out of a new battery and have now lied to my face 3 times. They told me to go in for a checkup and dented my car. They keep switching the days on how long it’s gonna take. It’s taking way to long to get my car back when all I needed was an oil change. Not going back here

Been going here for years. Used to take company truck here because of downtown location. Started taking personal vehicles there and I get the same smooth and consistent service. They call to communicate any repairs and are always ready get my vehicle in, repaired, and back out the door quickly. Highly recommend. Mike is the man!!

This place has always taken care of me and my family. I was heading out of town on vacation when the night before my starter went out. Mike answered the phone after hours, I had the car towed there that evening by 10 AM Mike was calling me with the diagnosis. My car was repaired and back to me by 3 PM. I was in the road hours later! Not to mention my came came back to me cleaner and wipes down better than when I arrived. 5 stars!!!

First time in. One of our service vans was over-due for an oil change. I stopped by to see if I could schedule a LOF. I was greeted by Mike (the owner). He told me that they could take care of my needs right away. I explained my need to get to my office soon and that I was expecting to be scheduled for another day. Instead, Mike planned to have Jake drive me to my business, (5 minutes away).I was able to have the service completed on my van as well as get to important meetings.It was a wonderful experience, (so many great things, too many to mention here!).
