They originally were to do a oil change and safety check. They found a serious problem gave us a estimate. Repairs were done in a timely manner at the estimated price. Very satisfied with the service and work.

The folks at Silver Star (I spoke with Alan and a tech) really know how to treat their customers right. I made an appointment for 9am and right at 9am, they pulled my car in, serviced it, and finished promptly within their quoted time. In addition, one of the techs took time to speak with me about the issue and explained it in very good detail. Will be taking my BMW back here in the future!

We have used Silver Star several times for our vehicles. They are always honest and reliable. We had to be referred out after our latest visit as Silver Star did not preform what was needed on our vehicle. They even called and got a quote and got is set up for service. Today Al went out of his way to call the other mechanic shop again for me after the other company tried to charge us more ensure we got the rate that was originally quoted to us. Dealer wanted me to replace both rear access struts on my BMW even though one was still working. Silver star told me that we did not need to do that. They saved me 1,000 dollars and customer service was way better. They have my business for life.

Silver Star was recommended to me by a fellow Mercedes Benz owner. Al and his team checked and fixed my power steering pump/system. Id been hearing a whine, figured I needed a new pump. First I took it to a different shop who told me the fluid level was microscopically low and that they topped it off. It didnt make the whine go away. Silver Star identified air bubbles in the system, removed them and then topped the fluid off. No more whine. Thank you Silver Star!!

Honest and fast. These folks are outstanding. My wife took her Subaru to Les Schwab and they quoted $2200 to fix her front axel, these guys did it for about $300 the same day. Excellent customer service, they even delivered my car to my house when I was deployed. Al and the techs do great, honest work. This is the shop you want to take your cars to. 10/10.

I want to replace my ac compressor. I need a place that will drain the old freon. They confirmed that they could do that but dont do that for people. Why would they want to help somebody and protect the environment.

I brought my vehicle here, was given a quote on repairs needed. They fixed it in a timely manner and no surprises except for the fact they fixed a faulty sensor free of charge. Thats how you gain repeat customers. Good people.

This is a long overdue review of the excellent service during and after I had some work done with this amazing establishment. I will never take for granted the treatment that I received from these guys.My experience was from getting my 1996 A4 serviced by these gentlemen. I needed some work and they came recommended by several people and I know why. Not only were they timely and professional they made sure that everything was completed even the small things like ensuring that all of my fluids were at the correct levels, without charging me. They even filled my washer fluid free of charge.But my greatest recommendation for their service shop is that I move a few weeks after having a major service done there and my alternator seized and that caused my serpentine belt to get shredded and wrapped around the other pullies. They paid for the service even though they didn’t even work on that part. I wish I could find a mechanic shop like that where I live now.Customer service like this is a thing of the past. If I can ever get back to Spokane I will definitely have all of my car work done at Silver Star Automotive. Thank you for everything that your shop did.

Was recommended this shop by another shop in town .. I was travelling through Spokane in my 1962 supercharged Studebaker Hawk and found the dual points had failed . I found a supplier who I knew and he sent me a kit to convert the distributor to electronic ignition .. The car was done and running in no time . Very friendly service and reasonable. I have to ad that being stranded in Spokane was great .. Friendly people and some great pub/restaurants .. Thanks for your help Silver Star ..

Excellent customer service and honest. They didnt try and over sale or over service,they were totally honest and did only what was needed, they diagnosed and called prior to doing anything. I appreciate their honesty and will definitely use them for any work on my daughters BMW.

It often surprises me when a product or business gets outstanding reviews or provides excellent service and then somebody seems to have an experience so far contrary that I wonder more about them than what they are rating:) However, we have been using Silver Star ever since we moved to Spokane, about 9 years ago. Our son-in-law had strongly recommended them based upon his own experiences. We have not been disappointed. As far as I can recall, I had never previously had an auto service experience where I was talked out of what I thought was a needed service. Nice experience, confirms my belief of their integrity, and concern for the customer. I also find their prices to be quite reasonable. Particularly when you consider you are not being gouged for unnecessary work.

This place is the Nordstroms of the auto repair world here in Spokane. I have never, ever had a poor experience. The service is unreal and prices are fair. They ALWAYS make time for me (usually same day) and they explain the issues and how they are going to fix them in a way that I can understand and without being condescending. I wont go anywhere else.

After being told by Mercedes dealership in Liberty Lake it would cost $2600.00 to fix a suspension problem, after already spending just under $1000.00. I was fortunate enough to find Silver Star. Long story short, the guys at Silver Star saved me $2000.00 and fixed the actual problem. I tried to leave this review months ago and for some reason it didnt work. I cant recommend them enough. On time and efficient on getting vehicle fixed.

I had two other places tell me I needed a new alternator since my car kept going dead. Took it here since their quote was over 200 less and they called me to tell me it was the battery and not the alternator....such really honest and incredibly nice people...I will use them from now on!

Took my car in for a coolant leak & gave explicit instructions to kelly the service writer to NOT let anyone drive my car. A 2 hr job turned into 2 day due to incompetent mechanics breaking parts that had to be ordered from the dealer at my cost. Got the car back with 5.5 joy ride miles, a heavy vibration in the left front(pot hole/curb???) & a check engine light due to emissions line being disconnected. Total scammers that get you in & wanna keep you coming back for more repairs

5 stars for trustworthy, friendly mechanics. I found out about them when I had a tire go flat and was sitting on the side of the road. One of their mechanics was driving by and he stopped to help me. Ive been a fan ever since.

Im very happy with the quality of service provided by Silver Star for my 2008 Mercedes automobile.I find the quality of service to be higher (and less costly) than the dealership in Liberty Lake and the location in downtown Spokane is more convenient for me.

Before work was even done, they went out of their way to stock a part I might not have needed, just in case. At no charge to me if we didnt need it. Although the wait is longer then some places (likely due to the amount of business they get and cars they work on) it is done right the first time.

Way over price! I obviously didnt get my work done here, because I needed 2 front struts replaced and an alignment. they quoted me at 580 + tax... 180 bucks over the next highest quote. 200 over Sears automotive in the valley where I got it done for 380 out the door. These guys may do good work, I dont know... but I do know that if you are trying to save money... this is not the place to go.

We brought in my 92 Suburban to get some things checked out on it and to really evaluate if it was worth putting the money into at this point due to age, value of the vehicle, and mileage.The team there was great at thoroughly checking things over, giving a very in-depth and informative quote and being very honest with us about what they thought without making us feel any sort of pressure.Though we have decided not to put more money into the vehicle, I will definitely be taking my future vehicle to them.
