Mall quality merchandise for popular manga-comic properties. Large gaming area. Pokemon, boardgames, Dungeons and dragons and other rpgs available. They have paints and miniatures. Good gifts for the nerd in your life. No vintage comics. You can eat food in the back. People smell bad here so I took a star off for not enforcing a deodorant mandate.

Went into the store and was refused service because I wasn’t wearing a mask. I told them I had (a health condition that exempts you from wearing a mask) and the lil guy said it doesn’t matter. Apparently they haven’t read the mandate or do not know how to read unfortunately. Kids go to school please.“if these clowns are claiming that the mandate is the law (which it isn’t) they broke the law for not abiding to follow the exempt section in the mandate”. You have to follow the whole mandate not just parts of it. I hope the owner will get this and have someone explain what each section means so he doesn’t further embarrass himself in the future. Don’t shop here and support stupidity.

Good selection of manga and anime statues

Fun selection of memorabilia. Decent game selection but they really shine when it comes to Manga.

This place is always slammed, but their selection of Pop! figures is outdone only by their Division store, which is the best store in town. This place loses a point, as it is hard to find the comics, as this is listed as a comic book store. It used to have a small rack with new comics, but I could only find trade paperbacks. They gain props for having super-nice associates.

This location has a ton of stuff.They have done a really great job building this store. A whole lot for everyone. Huge selection of cards, games, toys and dice. Plus comics. Staff were friendly, helpful, place was clean. A++ Much better than anything tri cities or the surrounding area has to offer.

It’s a great store that sells a variety of products, my issue is regarding a specific area of business. As other posts mention, they do take advantage of the scalping market price for their collectible trading cards (not sure if they do this for other products). It doesn’t help they don’t always display the price of the items behind the wall at the counter or fail to mention they do not accept returns. I assumed the product I purchased for $69.99 was at retail price. As most card collectors know, right now it’s difficult to find any product in stock so I jumped at the opportunity not knowing the retail price for that item. The places was also packed so I felt very rushed. After I left, I looked the product up and the retail price is $39.99. I could have purchased it cheaper online from other scalpers than what they charged me for it... I understand smaller companies need profit margin but almost double the price of retail? And now after purchase they inform me I can’t return it. It was not listed anywhere in the store near the product, the clerk did not mention it and it was not on the receipt. Other smaller local companies don’t overcharge customers this bad, they should be ashamed of their business process taking advantage of the profit margin for the high demand and limited stock. As far as I’m concerned, they are worse than the scalpers and need to correct this for future customers.

This store is very nice for people who are nerdy and they have a wide selection of comic books and cards for people who are into collecting old movie poster.

The novelty of it does cost a little more. Some items you can find cheaper online or through other shops but there are a lot of neat small finds you only see here. Staff was wonderful, even a small discounted section. If you like puzzles, comics or anything similar this is a great novelty shop

A lot of rare finds(for America) and lots of the popular stuff ye would expect. There are Magic tournaments and things of that nature. Overall, its worth stopping by if youre a comic geek, anime otaku, etc. Prices are reasonable also. They carry onsies, figures, cards, puzzles, etc.

Highly recommend coming here for all of your pokemon info. I was hospitalized and they were able to take my card over the phone and allow my champions path elite trainer box be picked up by a family member. The guy playing in the Tuesday tournaments are really good people. I am in about 3 times a week and it never gets old!

Lots of cool books on DnD and other games! With some amazing mugs and cups and even metallic dice! Plus they had new and used Manga! It was very cool!

Amazing selection of cards but the service was underwhelming. I tried to create conversation because I thought their selection was impressive. Including card singles. Seemed like they didnt care that I was even looking at stuff to purchase.

Love the stuff they have here. they always have a Moogle in the display case i want but can never afford. Love the variety of stuff they carry. Wish they had more Final Fantasy related products though.

Instead of helping some of us out that enjoy the hobby of Pokémon Trading Cards, The Comic Book Shop is taking part in this scalping trend. As the eBay and Facebook scalping on retail product continues to plague the TCG, you would think your local LCS is here to help but The Comic Book Shop took part in scalping. They were selling one Hidden Fates ETB for $150, CP for $80. How could a LCS take part in the scalping? We all know you get your product for retail because you arent the only LCS around so stop making up excuses saying your vendor is jacking up the prices we all know thats a lie.

I love this location as it has a little bit of everything. You can buy and sell used manga here, too. They also have space for events and this location is very active in the cosplay scene in Spokane. Love love love.

Wonderful shop and really cool service! Bought some random stuff and some Pokemon and they had some wonderful Pokemon singles in really good condition that I picked up! The guy working the counter was really nice and I really enjoyed how professional he was. However the back of the store was really awkwardly gated off because of covid but thats expected. Other than that I fully recommend the store.

A good local business! They sell games, comics, cosplays and kigus, figures, cards, merch for various series, Funko pop figures, backpacks, plushies, shirts, keychains, wallets, bags... as well as some Japanese snacks and candy Ive had fun trying out.Theyre always helpful and kind, and this has been a favorite stop for me for years, especially for buying gifts for family and friends.

Its a nice shop it has alot of the comic-con type goods costumes, apparel and trinkets etc. but as far as actual comics are concerned they are scarce to say the least there are 2 maby 3 small 10ft long shelves each 3 rows high lets just say it is more like an nerdy anime version of a Spencers
