Thoroughly disappointed with the pharmacy. They are extremely slow and each time that I try to pick up a prescription they say it is not ready and to give them 40 to 45 minutes. When I return in the alloted time they say it is still not ready and to come back in another 20 to 30 minutes. If they were not the closest to my home, I would go elsewhere. I did not have this problem at the last store that was near my last home.
Called about a cake manager said it would take 48 hours when I needed it in 24… Called a different location got my two cakes ordered in less than 24 hours they have to be cooked so this location sucks Nobody really wants to work anymore and I was lied to.
I enjoy shopping here because there is always something new to see. However, yesterday was the first time I had to return something. The guy at the customer service counter was unpleasant. He was dismissive of everything I said. I could tell he wasnt listening and would only say dont worry about it after everything I said. I tried making small talk because of how uncomfortable he made me feel by asking what the print on his name tag meant. It said dont drive angry all he did was laugh at me, say dont worry about it. Im not asking for conversation but I felt very uncomfortable and a nuisance to him. Im an operations manager and training and maintaining friendly and company policy abiding cashiers is what I do. I would not be happy if I were his boss. I am just going to return items in the future to another location.
Horrible shopping. Their cashier do not greet or smile with the people of color may be. Very confusing note(See the attached picture) We grab 8 pk pepsi and 4pk Coca-Cola but not allowed to buy. What is the reason for limit? When I asked for tax-exempt form, cashier (Stacey) answer was “Hold on” with loud tone. When my saving on tax was $1.07 they giggle with each other and I can clearly understand why they giggle. I will give my money to other places, not this location. If I have to come back next time those rude people would be on record, I swear.
They need a lot of improvement on their pickup orders. When items are wrong or damaged it takes sitting on hold for 30min and giving someone your life story to get 1 item refunded. I’ll go to target much easier!!
I scheduled a covid test and when i went to the pharmacy for my appointment they said it would not tell me if i have covid just if i have antibodies. I am very disappointed in there process and explanation on the website why even have a test that doesnt tell if you have covid-19.
Fresh produce, and meat. Great wine selection, impressive natural food section, and vegan frozen meals.
Was easy to get help from finding things that I was looking for very friendly as well.
If youre going to make me bag my own groceries, at least give me the discount like Win-co. This store has set up their checkout lanes for customers to bag their own purchases. The nice cashier that was helping claimed it was because nobody wants to work and they cant hire baggers. Girl, they are literally making you do two peoples job and paying you for one.Yet, everytime I come to this store theres three managers standing around in their button-up shirts having ~BuiSNEsS TaLk~ time. Which includes lots of laughing. I have seen NONE of them actually assist their workers when things get overwhelming. Maybe fire two of them, take their salaries, and offer competitive wages to the staff.
A one stop shopping trip, where I can purchase running gear, groceries, plants and basic household supplies all in one store
Employees are masked but many customers are maskless. This place is a covid spreader. Lady next to me was upset that there werent enough check out lanes open. Who in their right mind would work for a low wage and be exposed to life threatening disease on a daily basis.
I love this place. Great pharmacy because they care.
This is a place Im happy to shop at. Great service and the employees are all very professional and nice. They have incredible grocery store Sushi and always a nice variety of choices in all of the respective departments. Ive pretty much ditched other places like Walmart (which has been rapidly going downhill lately) in favor of this place. Their produce is usually very good - especially compared with other local stores (with the exception of Yokes of course). But this place and Yokes are the only 2 places I really enjoy shopping at anymore.
Freddys has always been a great place to find quality at a fair price, I have bought cloths for work here for over 30 years. They always have a discount area with great deals. They carry better quality than there competitors in all departments. I appreciate there staff, always friendly and helpful.
Have always loved shopping at Fred Meyer and willing to pay their higher prices just to keep them in business. However, the last 2 times I’ve been there, the customer service left a lot to be desired.Experience 1, trying to buy ready to bake bread in the bakery. They are all out on the floor so I ask the woman working there if they have more in the back. She goes and looks then comes out and tells me there are too many boxes to go through to find any but she can sell me the already baked stuff that’s sitting right next to her. Wow, good to know how far she’s willing to go to help a customer!Experience 2, bought a cold sandwich from the deli counter. In the past, I’ve had them heat it up for me or I should say, they’ve offered to heat it up for me. I asked the employee if she could heat it up for me and was told no, they no longer do that. I asked if this was due to covid (strange how covid could affect this but you never know). She told me she wasn’t sure but in her 4 months of being there, she’d never done it. I was frustrated that she based her answer on her lack of experience rather than ask a more senior employee if this could be done.I’m amazed by the sheer laziness of their employees of late and really doubting I’ll ever be back to their store.
Miles was super helpful and friendly! Love chatting with all the sweeties at self checkout.
Crystal who answered the customer service phone tonight was HORRIBLE and so rude! I called to find out if they had specific holiday hours as I live out of town, and Google doesnt properly list them, and she was horrible about it.
Deli is only open for 4 hours a day (10-2). Very frustrating.
Fav place to go but after mask mandate I’ll be shopping in Idaho . Sorry
I am not the one to post comments good or bad about a business until now. Because of a busy home office schedule and Covid-19 I have chosen to order my groceries for delivery from this store. It seemed to be working after a few times and I loved the convenience. This weekend I placed my order online, we had a bit of snow that day so I knew getting my order would take a bit longer than the 2 hours I was used to. Well, 6 and a half hours later they still hadn’t come. I called the store and spoke to customer service who very sternly (rudely) told me my groceries are picked and delivered by a 3rd party basically passing the buck. They gave me the 3rd parties phone number who told me my order somehow got caught up in a computer loop...what ever these things happen. They refunded my money and the next day I thought I’d give them a break and try again. Roads were clear and yet it still took 5 hours to get my order, mind you I live 10 minutes away from this store. I called the store again and was told a manager would get back to me, didn’t happen. When the order finally did get here I received a quarter of what I ordered yet the full amount was pulled from my bank account. The 3rd party company said they’d refund my cash for the missing groceries but it would take 3 to 7 working days. I know that’s the standard when getting a refund these days, but why was I refunded immediately after the first disaster? I loved this store, not only for it’s locality but one stop shopping BUT if they can’t take responsibility and attempt to at least apologize for their “3rd parties” huge mistake I give up giving them the benefit of the doubt and they have lost my business, even though I know it wouldn’t put a dent in their huge profits word of mouth can go a long way.
The guy sitting at the front door is not mask enforcement. So many people and staff not wearing masks properly or at all. Only three checkout lanes open during busy times, made everyone cram into the isles and made it impossible to socially distant. Loyal customer for a long time but never again.
Grrrr. Checked online ahead of time. Website said ten was closing time. All doors were locked at both entrances. Employee getting carts said they were still open but someone must have already turned off the doors. It was 9:45. Frustrating. Went to Wal-Mart, which I despise. If you say open till 10 tyat is when theentrance should be closed.
I dont like to write bad reviews but this one was well earned! So me and my wife regretfully purchased a sofa from here last night and had to deal with a employee named Julie... I believe ( she is short with dark hair) and there was this other poor woman that has to deal with her on a daily basis as a coworker... I didnt get her name but she was taller with blondish hair and she was excellent to deal with, Lets just say julie yelled at me, physically assaulted me and was tossing my costco items around in my car while blurting out something about women inequality?..... The other lady was very apologetic over her coworkers actions she also stated that she (Julie) was a new hire, I guess we got the luck of the draw with interacting with her last night and to state that this really ruined my experience with Fred Meyer, I was tempted to return the sofa and must ad that if she continues her employment at least with any customer service relations with Fred Meyer they will lose more business. I wouldnt want anyone to lose there job but maybe relocate her in another department possibly the basement ? Very unstable and a huge liability risk if you ask me and also want to clarify that me and my wife did not do anything to provoke this type of behavior, very disturbing.....
Returned produce today, produce department was very helpful and apologetic. Customer service counter worker Rachael wasnt professional or helpful. Downright rude. Freddies Ill drive down the road where I will be treated with respect. Hello Rosauers.
I love the Fred Meyer Wandermere store and have shopped there since it opened. Lately, I find myself having to work around their employees which is really annoying. The employees who fill the online orders stop their huge carts in the middle of the isle and cut right in front of me to get items off the shelf. At times, there are two of those huge carts in the isle so I just turn around and go the other way. The people who stock the shelves are just as bad.. The employees should be the ones to work around the shoppers in the store. They have some great cashiers but they also have some terrible ones that dont bother to acknowledge me during the whole transaction. I spend a lot of money at this store and I dont think I should have to work around their employees and the cashiers should be friendly every time I interact with them.
Produce department is disgusting. They just dump whatever comes in on the table and let rotting fruits and vegetables sit there, not sure if they think rotting food benefits the other fruits but it doesnt. Went to get celery and theres so much build up that it looked like snot was dripping from the display, onto the other produce. At what point does it become a health hazard to the public? I refuse to shop here or any other Fred Meyer.
They don’t even have a bike rack.
Good buys weekly gas rewards easy to find everything friendly customer service.
Excellent selection of products especially produce. Fast friendly checkout
Every single employee I encountered (4) was rude, unfriendly, and didnt even make eye contact when I asked questions, let alone respond in a helpful manner, Absolutely miserable experience!
Worst Fred Meyer Ive ever been to. Trust the bad reviews. Outdated deli equipment, poor management, and not the best variety or prices.
Great store with everything...huge garden department with beautiful, healthy plants. I buy my bedding plants here every year. Hardware, furniture, clothing, prescriptions, and food. Beautiful produce with large organic section, good meats, wine selection, bakery, yummy fresh sushi station. Fred Meyer Jewelry store just inside front door. The huge parking lot with easy access, several other stores in same strip mall
Thank you Randy and Vanessa in the garden center! You both were very helpful friendly and kind. I appreciate you and your time assisting me today.
Outstanding store, just wish the electronics and toy section was larger
Good selection of everything one might need, but I’ve found the employees to be hit or miss.
Only 2 or 3 checkout lanes are ever open so the lines are long. They are attempting to force self-checkout but the self-checkout machines are finicky machines when you have a full cart. You constantly need a rep to come by and fix the machine because it doesnt like the over 30 items. The bagging at the self-checkout is also weight sensitive so that if it does not sense that your purchase has been added, it gets upset. And, the space is very inadequate for bagging with your own bags (its set up for plastic). The experience all around is very unpleasant.
Fred meyers is one of my favorite places to shop. Always treated very well and a great selection
Cashier Daniel was slowly scanning my items bagged two items and then stopped? There was no bags at the end of check out stand convenient to use, only bags were underneath the stand. He made no attempt to continue bagging my items and started checking out the person behind me in line? There’s currently a 6ft. rule in place between customers, which he broke.Another union employee just milking the system and doing as little as he can to facilitate customers needs and safety.Daniel was the poorest example customer service and safety.
Laura in the apparel dept. very rude! Poor customer service! Remember Laura we the customers are your pay check!
A HUGE store with lots of choices in all departments. You will get your exercise walking around this store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Self checkout lines move very fast. Lots of parking all around store.
I have shopped at Fred Meyers on the west side of the state and in Spokane for probably the last 12 years. I am finally done. The north Spokane store was pretty good about 1.5 years ago then they got rid of the current management, put in the self check areas which they try to force you to go through, and it seems they do not stock the products at night anymore but wait till normal shopping hours where pallet carts are left blocking aisles. They seem to constantly be out of stuff. I was in this morning 3/3/20 and the produce section was probably 30% empty! There are still several great staff people there but it has got to the point where it just isnt worth dealing with the pit this store has become. If you are going to force people to use self checkout, give a discount or some incentive. You were probably able to lay off more than a few checkers so we could do their job for free. Bye Bye Freddies.
Horrible place to work for, after I quit because of an assault that happened in front of a manager that did nothing, they falsified documents saying I was fired
This store used to be open until 11 PM now they shorten the hours to 10 PM how lame is that
It was good as usual. I just wish they would get rid of this on line coupon system. It takes a lot of time just sitting and going through everything and then Im uncertain if I picked the right things. I am always wondering if Im paying full price or getting the discount because I maybe didnt do it right. I sure wish they would have a better user friendly system that was as fast as the paper coupons.
Was great until front end remodel. Its very obvious they are trying to get as many people as possible to use self check. So cheap. LONG wait to check out 5 consecutive times now. Pay for more cashiers and Ill change my rating.Update;Long lines still here, even less staff. Waited over 2 hours for a Covid booster. Masks not enforced even in the pharmacy. Slowest pharmacy Ive ever seen. Id give zero stars if I could.
My wife and I use the Click List (online ordering with store pickup) every week. For $5, someone will shop for you and bring the groceries to your car! For me, its well worth it. The produce is picked intelegently and everyone always has a good attitude. The selection is great and prices are fair. Great place for one stop shopping! The store is always clean as well.
I really wish I didnt even have to give this a star. When I bought a shirt last time I was there they did not remove the ink tag. Went to wear it and realized it. So I went in to Fred Meyer thinking that they would be able to help me. I dont have a rewards card with them so they apparently couldnt look it up that way and I had recently had to switch debit cards due to fraud. I pulled up my bank account information with the amount that was charged to my old card when I went in. I went through two cashiers, customer service, and a store manager. The whole thing was really embarrassing and they made me feel like I did something wrong even though it was their fault to begin with. So I left the store with no resolution and a shirt that I cant even wear now. The fact that they were rude about it made me want to scream it from the rooftops how horrible their customer service is. I will never go back.
This place is always busy.. Thumbs up to the produce department for donating theyre boxes for moving thanks....👍👍
They always give you good service and have good stock of the things you may need
This place is amazing the Product here is phenomenal and the workers are very helpful.
In general I love FM (Fred Meyer); recently Ive been using Click List and I love it - I work long hours and I also love grocery shopping, but something had to give and being able to go online and order my weekly supplies has been great. Plus its cut down on my impulsive shopping! Pulling in and calling is simple and the click list staff is friendly and prompt. This system makes it hard to want to go into the store anymore!!Fred Meyer in general has also been great - great selection of products, staff is ALWAY friendly (sometimes hard to deal with the new trainees due to knowing what a trained one is like).
I haven’t been shopping for a long time and before I knew it my arms were loaded with clothes. That’s when Christine in the men’s clothing department realized what was happening and went to grab a cart for me. After that she helped me find the jeans I was looking for. She didn’t make me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and because of her I’ll continue to shop here. Give this woman a raise Fred Meyer lol! Thanks again Christine!
Went here for an inner tube and wound up not buying one(girlfriend found one at a better price somewhere else). However, I did decide to buy some headphones from their electronics department and had a singular experience with Aaron, the fellow who worked in said department. His lighthearted, personal approach to customer service made me feel at ease and actually made me spend more on some headphones than I initially intended due to his expert guidance.
This chain as a whole has fallen SO far in standards its unbelievable. I used to shop here exclusively. They had products no one else had at good prices and if you needed help, there was ALWAYS a familiar and friendly face around. Now its expensive, incredibly inconvenient and there is a constant rotation of unenthusiastic employees that are either not willing to help or have no idea what you are talking about or ever where they are. FM seems seem far more concerned about the people who dont enter their store with their click fest BS than making the store a pleasant place to be. What on earth happened Fred Meyer? What have you done?
Read the 1 star reviews. Lol 10/10
I am from California and my family is up in Spokane. Every time I visit my family, I go to Fred Meyers. I love that store! It has pretty much everything I want or need. I wish there was one in California!
Its good store, but the produce department employee was rude and unhelpful. I probably wont ever stop by this store for any produce.
Extremely helpful and cheerful employees, that help an establishment with just about everything you could ever think of needing run smoothly. Their rewards membership gives opportunity for customers to save a pretty penny on not only in store items but also on fuel at the Fred Meyer gas pumps! This is my personal favorite department store
They have fantastic drop-in childcare so I can shop without the kids! Great Chase Bank in there, and the garden supply area is awesome. Lots of good sales and clearances throughout the store. Great organic and natural selection. Awesome coupons online
Fred Meyer has been changing its structure over the years. For one their toy selection has been getting smaller and smaller each year while their grocery quality has been improving. They have great produce, great wine and cheeses. Their Deli is a bit pricey. I do like their hours from 6 am to 11 pm. The staff is always helpful.
A good store, you can get anything you can imagine here. Always clean and the deli food is good. I wish there were more people to help find what you need. And they have a great selection of alcohol, wine, beer, and spirits. Check them out!
Fred Meyer is one of my favorite places to one stop shop. They have a great vegetarian and health food selection, and I can usually find cute clothes too. They have a large deli, a garden section, toys and games, shoes, groceries, home decor and a lot more.
The store is very clean and neat. The furniture is high quality and prices are reasonable. And to top it all of the fruit and vegetables are so fresh. Oh yeah the employees are very friendly and helpful!💖
Needs new product!
I just moved to Spokane and this Store is really clean and have a great customer service, also I use AT&T service so there is AT&T store on there parking as well.
Theres a guy in the electronic/game department. I wanna say his name was Aaron or something like that, idk the dude had pokemon converse on. Anyways he was suuper friendly and helpful when I went in to get a copy of doom eternal. Like 2 weeks ago. Hope they give that guy a raise.
Helpful staff, huge clean store, good variety, will almost always find what youre looking for, just not at the best price. There are often lines in every lane, but they tend to be short and move quickly and there are usually lots of registers open. There is a big fresh produce section, a bakery and gluten free baking options too! They have great selection in cold drinks which is awesome during summertime. Their clothes are good quality and theres always tons of clearance racks. I wouldnt say this place is great for quick trips (just getting in and out of the parking lot is a pain), but they have pretty much everything you need.
Always a clean location, self check out is great, great vegan and vegetarian options. The bakery is pretty good just a little over priced in my humble opinion. Shopping carts are clean and in abundance even during busy times, they even have little half carts for those that dont need a full sized cart but dont want to lug around a basket. Clothing is a little over priced on regular sale and around average to good when on clearance (which is often and 40% off).
Clean, well organized, attentive staff.
Large, clean store with helpful staff. Sadly, it doesnt carry Boars Head products in the deli. Upscale store with clothing, toy department, play area for kids, and more. Gluten-free foods are also available.
Been shopping at Fred Meyer for years and the north Spokane one consistently for the past 4 years. Not sure what is going on there but it is really getting kind of ratty. Staff is nice and helpful but every time I go they seem to be out of yet another item. Lots of empty spots on shelves, large carts for stocking and on-line shopping are just left in the middle of aisles blocking products. They also seem to have implemented a new check processing system and for the first time ever it would not accept my check. Luckily had my CC otherwise would have just walked. May be finally time for a change.
The pharmacist Brett,Susan and complete idiots and can not figure out there life’s if they tried! Horrible service they delete you information and make you wait and hour to verify insurance when they deleted my info now I have to wait two weeks for blood pressure medicine that is needed! Extremely unprofessional and definitely need better people. Shouldn’t take 3 pharmacist to figure out how to find insurance. I will be switching pharmacies because they can not figured anything out!
Fred Meyer is always great in the sense that you can expect to find pretty much everything that you could or would ever need to buy from a store. From outdoor furniture to sporting goods to groceries. Ive always found more than I needed shopping here! :)
Selection is good. Found what I needed and got out. Loved that they basically had all the check stands open, which meant little waiting.
I love this store . Great products. great employees and nice wide aisles. Lots of good gluten free and organic products
Always a great place to get groceries. Its been newly remodeled and it seems a bit bigger with the new arrangement. Everyone is always very polite and courteous here.
Since the recent remodel and refocus on a market like atmosphere it is a little more difficult to find thing but the quality and selection are the same as always and for the time being prices appear to be as good or better than before. Not a criticism of the location but the Kroger corporation; the recent changes to the rewards program are unwelcome. I preferred receiving my approximately 1% rebate each quarter and dislike needing a card to get posted prices. Cards should be a benefit to the customer, not a requirement of shopping by virtue of a no card markup.Go back to the carrot of rewarding users, not the stick of punishing non-users.
It is a Fred Meyer, so it is pretty standard. Easy to navigate if you are used to their layouts. Quick lines at this one though! But lackluster craft beer supply.
Nice store recently reorganized so a bit difficult to find what I was looking for. But its still a good place to find non-food items along with groceries. Shop here weekly and wouldnt change for anything.
Nice store. IMHO the best one of the bunch. The only issue I have is that its so far north. But Ill still make the trip every now and then.
Fred meyer usually has some fantastic advertised specials. The staff is friendly and seems knowledgable. Their regular prices are pretty high, so I only come to get whats in the ad. Need more cart stalls in the parking lot.
I used clicklist for the first time today and I was very surprised at how easy and convenient it was. They got me everything I asked for and even got me good substitutions when needed. Plus I actually stayed on budget for once :)
North Fred Meyer is a great place to shop! The people are very friendly and helpful. Aisles are wide and 99% of the time are well stocked. Checkout is reasonably fast and the cashiers are very friendly!
My $179 loyalty visa card reward was used by someone who had my phone number in Oregon. (Thats all a thief needs to use your reward people, so use it as soon as it is loaded to your card.)Kroger customer service took combined 3.5 hours of my life in line and on the phone over 2 days only to learn they might refund my reward. I have been a very active best customer bonus level loyalty member for 6 or 7 years.Their service call in number gets so busy they simply hang up without a call back option!
Came to pick up an online order that was placed, drove 30 minutes across town for the items only to get there and be told they were out. My card still got charged and I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get the credit and did not get any notification that my items were out of stock! Terrible
Amazing natural food section! Vegan. Gluten free. Silicon baking sheets. Dryer balls. New favorite store.
You have to love Fred Meyers. If you cant find what your looking for Fred Meyers has it. Theres a Starbucks inside the store. Nice clean restrooms, pharmacy, deli. It has it all.
I love Free Meyers. The staff is really cool and laid back and they have everything Wal-Mart does at very similar prices.
So I have a huge cart full of groceries and I have to either wait in a long line of full carts or go through self check out. I do the self check and unpleasant helper checker has to fix my register several times. Not a nice person!!! And why not open a register???? Most were closed. Not great check out system. This has happened last two times here. Not good!
Used clicklist. Friendly service. Received the items I ordered with few substitutions. Only complaint is that I always end up waiting about 15 minutes for them to bring the groceries out.
The selection of food and organics is good. Clothing always overpriced..thenmarked down convenience is awful! You are made to traverse the whole store to get to necessities--in order to sell you stuff. Great quality of food.
I have been coming and stopping at this Fred Meyers for the last 15 years, since its close to my cousins house and on the way home from my cousins softball game. The store looks good, but the only complaint is that I miss the old interior, since it looked nice, but I can live with the remodel. Great staff, as well.
Nice since remodel. Prices can be meeh, you have to watch them. App could be better and easier to use as well. Over all a good store though. Only 4 stars due to how horrible the parking lot is.
Check out lines too long. glGive people their jobs back, open more check out lines and stop promoting self check out!
The employees have been very courteous and helpful, including during the recent remodel. BUT, I have had to adjust my rating down because the store is frequently and consistently out of what I specifically go in for and that is frustrating. The employees remain superb!!! Shelf stocking has tanked.
My go to place for many grocery items. Nice they have many things besides groceries. Friendly people working here too. LOVE their fresh produce and cut up fruit in containers is excellent and priced reasonably.
This is Click List specific...Their click list is an actual rip off. When ordering via the app they do not apply your coupons that are loaded to your reward card. If they substitute something (which they will do even if you specifically said not too) they will charge you the price of whatever they subbed, which is usually a higher price. It states clearly on the app that if they do substitute you will be charged for the original items pricing, not the subbed items. If they forget something you will still be charged for it even if you let them know its missing. They will tell you to add the missing items to your next order and then indicate that its suppose to be free for replacement. They will still charge you. And because Fred meyer does not a have a customer service number or anything at all, the click list pick up number is all you have. Which means the crew polices themselves and can not be held accountable for anything. The people who bring out the groceries are generally pretty pleasant, if not in a hurry. Because of that they do not go through your groceries with you to make sure you got everything (which means youre out of luck if somethings missing) they barely go over substitutions or non items and because they staple the receipt in half on a paper you can not see your total and if you open it, it tears apart.I have ordered over a dozen times from this click list and after this last experience with my first not so kind employee, having paid nearly twice as much as I should have, while still having incorrect and missing items, I am done.Fred Meyers prices are high unless you use your card. I will go somewhere else with better service and pricing.
Kroger store brand groceries are very comparable to name brand goods. Meet prices when asked, but REWARD card with gas discounts work if you arent one to scout prices & coupons. Rewards learns your preferences & gives targeted coupons.
Great selection of products. The shopper traffic level is absolutely chaotic though in the store (which is obviously due to high quality of products). Heading their in the evenings though makes the shopping experience alot more enjoyable.
