The selection of herbs was great, but the gal at the counter was rude to my friend for no apparent reason. We had been quiet and respectful since we walked in, so we were all a little taken aback by the attitude. It definitely left a sour taste in our mouths about going back.

We ordered by phone ( store was closed because of hot weather) and pick up later. The weight was not accurate, and store would not open doors to correct it.

Family run, they are friendly and helpful. The selection of herbs and spices is wonderful. I love to get nearly all my cooking spices here as well as medicinal herbs and teas. Everything smells and tastes so fresh! They also have a decent selection of nutrition supplements and harder to find items, like gluten digestive aid, unique fiber options, sugar free chocolate bars, food grade hydrogen peroxide, and so much more. I love this place!

First off, amazing building and location. The owner was friendly, but not intrusive and the selection was excellent. For loose herbs and tea, I havent seen a more thorough selection anywhere. Only place in town that I have been able to find milk thistle!

Could use more hours open to the public and more competitive prices on grocery items but who comes for the groceries any way?! I have a couple of health issues that my doctor wanted to prescribe medications for which have side effects and therefore I dont want to take. Instead I checked with the people at Lorien Herbs for natural alternatives and found them to be highly knowledgeable. Obviously they are not doctors and the natural alternatives they suggested are not prescriptions but I believe that your body will heal itself given the opportunity. As a result of my own research and the help of the knowledgeable people at Lorien Herbs, Im enjoying good health. I recommend them highly!

Cute little herb shop in Perry District. Went by to try out some of their loose leaf teas and I quite liked the tea, so I will be returning for sure. They have a huge selection of herbs, for medical and cooking, and I will be definitely going there for cooking herbs and spices (whole cardamom for one) that are hard to find in grocery stores.

I love Lorien Herbs for amazing healing herbal teas and bulk herbs + spices. Its got more variety than many grocery stores that carry bulk herbs and spices. Plus, its small and I dont have to walk all the way through a giant store to get what I need.

They are a great natural store. I was forced to close my natural store a few years ago. I always go to Lorien. They have what no one else has and good prices. All the small natural shops have been forced to close down

This, in my opinion, is THE best place to get your herbs and spices. First you are supporting local! Second, the selection is Very plentiful and unique. Third, house blended real herbal teas!! The wonderful people there are more than happy to show you the ropes! Every jar is labeled clearly with the name, Latin name, price/oz and coding number. You can also find small but quality personal items, toiletries, CBD products, essential oils, carrier oils, homeopathic treatments and vitamins...just to name a few things! The price is Beyond reasonable and is very competitive with most other Natural stores in the area. Give this windmill gemstone (yes, the cute windmill in the Perry District) a chance, and fall in love with the natural goodness Loriens has to offer.

Lorien Herbs is Awesome and Knowledgeable about what Really works Ive suffered from pain from several injuries and head aches and would Always grab ibuprofen or Tylonal. Slowly destroying my Kidneys. They suggested Curcumin a natural antiiflammatory I havent taken over the counter pain relievers for 6 months !

Call ahead. Their operating hours are not reliable. We checked google today saw they were open till 6. We even called to double check. Voice mail said 6 pm. Came up here 25 mins out of the way and they were closed. :(
