The guys were friendly, transparent, and helped me out tremendously.
We have done business with Mr. J and his dad off and on for more than 19 years now. They are pricey -but they guarantee there ***word*** more than anyone else in the area.. there newest mechanics they seem to get lazier as the years go by. But they normally screen their new employees. His dad and J*** get two thumbs up in our book!
Customer services there is awesome they answer all questions that you have and the provides you with good quality services..
Jake and his Dad are such good people they actually care
The place was on the money. I needed a transmission fluid change, that is what I got. No haggling, no pushy sales, just honest, good hard work for a good price. The manager was very helpful, he kept customers and his crew moving along and they were all very professional. I asked to see the quality of the fluid they took out, he brought me a cup of it. The quoted price was more than he charged me, and they were helpful answering questions about my transmission. I take care of my baby(pictured) and they showed the same respect! If your looking for honesty good work, this is the place. Thanks guys and I will be back!
I worked over a month trying to figure out a misfire my car had. Brought it here to professionals and they figured it out in minutes. Very happy with the results
Very friendly and informative, if I thank I need go back for anything I am there
Jake was very good explaining things to me. Will definitely recommend to others.
Had to use them a couple of times because they installed my interlock device. After they worked on my car it started messing up pretty bad. They never knew what was going on. Didnt ever listen to any of my concerns or fixed my problems. But they were always quick to charge. So glad I found Johns auto repair in Rogers to help with my situation!
My vehicle is running like it suppose to, they were quick getting at getting it in and had it done by the end of the day.
Great honest people. Will definitely bring my car back here for service.
Those guys are awesome ♣️
Always great.
Highly do not recommend very greedy and rude people chances are you will be charged for parts you don’t need like they did to me and didn’t even fix the actual problem I went in for. Then when I complained the owner jake got very offended and was using foul language in frontb wee man of my children. It amazes me these kind of people are even in business. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I left simple instructions to leave my key under my seat that I would not be able to pick my car up before closing due to my work schedule. They failed to this, nor did they call me to confirm I wouldnt be there which they said they would do. This left me stranded outside their closed shop in the heat for two hours until my daughter could bring a key to me. Simple instructions and they failed. I will not be using them again.
They took off an ignition interlock I was responsible for but didnt send it back. They destroyed it and I was billed by lifesafer $2300. Should have removed it myself and done my jail time. But if I get record of it I will clear my name.
Always timely, to the point. I appreciate the service
This place did not know how to deal with complaints. Very bad customer service. I was upset and presented my problem with something and instead of staying professional and calm, owner yelled and gave threats in front of my kids. I stayed calmed despite all this but owner continued to be aggressive. Never ever again will I come to this place.Nobody kicked your door. Im not speaking from husbands point of view, Im speaking from my own. I did not curse or yell. You didnt have to raise your voice when nobody was cursing directly at you. My husband made one comment and it was said out of frustration at the situation and not direct. There are better ways to deal with that situation than yelling and threatening your customers. Nobody wants to start off with a bad week but things happen and you need to learn how to deal with them, professionally. You were very condescending and jumped around when explaining everything.
Great place with great guys theyll take care of all your automotive needs
The services is awesome and staff is really friendly I would recommend using this place from oil changes to whatever your vehicle needs
First and foremost, if youre looking for a reputable company to fix all of your car needs, THIS is the place! The owners, Max and Jake Crabtree will go above and beyond making sure your car is fixed right and you maintain your budget! They make sure they keep you in the loop with everything your car needs, no hidden surprises or charges. I will take all of my car needs to them and not hesitate that they will fix it right! Honest, reputable, no frills, budget friendly, class act... exactly what I look for in a company and Precision has each and every single one of those!
The owners were unbelievably rude to employes while I was there. I can not understand why they would talk like that in front of customers dont they have an office?
Rude. Not professional. Don’t give them your money just go somewhere else
Really bad placed went to have my car looked at, didnt repair what was needed, just changed the battery and said that they couldnt fix it.
Best place in town always good on service and very friendly I will be sending all my friends and family to them. So far they are the cheapest and best since I’ve moved here. Both the guys in the office up there are always honest and seem to care about the service they give unlike most guys around here
Famn good people and even good work dont find that together very often anymore.
Great experience! Super fast...people were super polite and changed out my blades and air filter as well. Would recommend these guys.. You will have a great experience!
If you like paying $400.00 to be told your car is fixed only to get it home, find out its not and then being told by the mechanic that they dont know whats wrong, they cant help you and they will not give you any kind of refund, this is the place for you!My car didnt even run for 30 minutes before it was having the same problem. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE GOOD REVIEWS HERE THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS.
I took my car to them because my automatic transmission was jerking when it downshifted from 2 to 1. I took it to them and they said that I needed a transmission flush which costs $ 100.00 bucks!!! Well I called Honda and they said dont get a transmission flush because its not recommended. It could screw up the transmission. All I needed was a drain and fill. So Precision still said that would cost $ 94.00 bucks!! I said screw that and went to Lightning Lube. They did it for $ 32.00 and my car is running just as smooth as ever! It only took them 10 minutes to do it!! Precision Tune just wants to steal your money especially if you are a female!! I will never go back there again!!!
Quality car care at a reasonable price. Honest; they will just tell you if a repair is within their scope or not. CLEAN waiting area also a plus!
Always a good job. Ive been going there for 20 years and have never been dissatisfied.
Love this place. They take great care of my van.
Went to Precision Tune to have a new steering rack installed in my car, after which, obviously, an alignment was required. Afterwards, I had a vehicle inspection done in the state Im moving to, in which it failed. Turns out Precision Tune adjusted the toe without loosening the rack boots, just twisting them until they ripped up and began leaking. Took it back and complained, and they installed new boots. Upon further inspection, I see instead of using metal clamps to secure the new boots, they used ZIP TIES!! Horrible work done by these people. Go ANYWHERE but there.EDIT: Just took my car back to have it inspected again, and it turns out they never installed new rack boots to begin with! They just straightened the old broken ones back out! For a car care business, this is extremely unprofessional. How they stay in business escapes me.
Fantastic experience! I will use them from now on for all of my vehicle needs. I took my car in to get my a/c problem diagnosed. I told them everything it was doing and they not only fixed the problem, they topped off my fluids and checked everything else to make sure I would not have any more problems. The customer service was amazing and my car is running great... and COLD! Thank you, PTAC for being an honest auto repair shop.
I as an older tech. I Recommend this shop,I dont feel like they tried to fast talk me. Theyre friendly, curtious, reasonable, efficient, sincere
I went there to get my brake pads replaced.. and after looking at my car, the owner told me i didnt need them replaced, so they just cleaned them up some and then didnt charge me a dime.. was very happy and will be going back to them in the future.. i am a woman too and they treated me real nicely and fairly
I used to goto ford for my oil changes, but got tired of waiting 2 1/2 hours to get it done. Quick friendly service. I highly recommend them for all service needs.
They carry AMS oil and are quick to service the vehicle
These guys are awesome
They do not do thorough work. I went to have have my coolant system tested, they tested it but then forgot to screw my radiator cap back on. They said I was good to go, so I left. I called them stranded a few miles down the road and they offered for me to come back and screw my cap back on for me, this is difficult to do when your coolant is no longer in your car and your engine is overheated. They didnt even attempt to help me out in any way. This should not have been overlooked, even someone with no experience working on cars would know to screw the cap back on.I do not recommend this shop for any sort of job.
Been taking my cars here for 15 years. Love these guys!
Jake is amazing everytime we use them! They have worked on multiple cars for us over the years
Great service and very reliable pricing. I highly recommend them.
They didnt fix stripped drain plug but they didnt charge me anything.
I like their integrity and the courteous way they have in treating their customers! They are consistently accurate in their service and repair work and their fees more then reasonable.
Have taken my car there several times and have always had a GREAT experience. Definitely recommend Precision Tune!!!
Quick and friendly service.
They called me before they started doing any work to my vehicle and gave me options for what to do to my SUV. They discussed the cheaper or the easiest fix to solve the problem. They have fast Service. They look to be very professional.
They were rude, took forever to do my oil change, over priced work and while I was there they let a car go out that was getting a oil changed go WITH OUT ANY OIL.the poor lady had to come back and get them to acctuly put oil in her car. I will never come back here agin. Go to the shop a mile down the road next to Springdale high school. There wayyyy better and nicer.
Enjoyed all the singing and entertainment it offered!
I have taken my wifes car there several time for an oil change and they have always been great!!!!
Nice people but poor communication. I asked the guy to check my brakes and charged me $20 without letting me know in advance. Frustrating because I had a tire replaced a few hours before. Nice folks but not a good experience.
Had an interlock installed and paid $220 it only worked for a month and about 6 days. He won’t give me a refund for the $85 I paid for this month and never wants to admit fault. They installed the interlock incorrectly causing the Body Control Module to go out in my brand new Car. Had to take it to the actual dealership to get the problem fixed but not before they charged me another $100 in diagnostics that I didn’t ask for. The dealership (not this one) fixed my car and like an idiot I brought it back to Precision Tune who once again messed it up. They spread the brown BCM wire terminal for the run/start delay too far and caused a loose connection in the BCM. Guess what. Another $100. What they’re doing here is criminal.Edit: You guys caused the short by yanking on the wire. Before that you had stated it was the BCM, now you’re saying it was the short. Either way you left tons of wires exposed and you don’t know what you’re talking about. Next time I’ll know better than to have an oil changer mess with my electronicsAnd no it’s not under current guidelines you guys don’t hook the interlock up to the horn which is what’s Arkansas law states. Not to mention you didn’t install it directly under the key you went to the BCM and messed my car up.
Great service, great work, finished what they said they were going to do when they said they would. Ive used this shop for many years and will continue to use this shop for these very reasons.
I have been using this shop for over a year for oil changes with out any issues. They were fast with no appointment needed and fairly convenient.....I had a front brake job done last year and, although they prooved to be more expensive after I asked around, I continued to use them for oil changes for the reasons above. However, I will no longer be a customer after my experience last week when my rear brakes now needed replaced. From previous experience, I knew they would charge more, but again, they were fast and I thought honest. After they fixed the brakes, I learned most of the pedal travel was gone as I drove away. They clearly had not test drove it after the repair. When I took the car back the next day, they said it now probably needed a new master cylinder too. A brake flush might fix it or might not and that a new master cylinder would cost over $500. So my simple rear brake replacement could soon cost nearly $900!I gave them permission to do the flush. They did and it didnt fix the brake pedal travel issue. Now they recommended the next step, replacing the master cylinder.....When questioning them on how my master cylinder is now bad, they said when they changed the pads, rotors, ect. and put it all back together, old nasty fluid that they couldnt see got pushed back to the master cylinder and ruined it. I questioned why they hadnt recommended flushing the fuild before either one of these brake jobs were performed, as the car had over 150,000 miles by the time these repairs were made. I was told because they cant see all the fluid in the system, it may look okay in the reservoir and not be okay deeper in the system, and that my unseen fluid was bad and ruined my master cylinder. This all sounded fishy and frankly amature. I knew their prices were already on the high side and now they seemed either dishonest or incompetent. I didnt feel like I could trust them any longer and took it to a different shop closer to my house. After going to the new shop, my suspicion proved right Precision was either dishonest or incompetent and absolutely over priced. The new shop quoted me a new master cylinder for $200 less, but first recommended doing a brake flush the right way, as they were familiar with Precisions processes.....After they performed a real brake flush (by pushing all the fluid out, not simply trying to vacuum it out) my brake system is working again with a restored brake pedal travel. So after I paid for ANOTHER brake flush, the brakes had full pedal travel once again.I dont write reviews often, but I was set to be taken advantage of and feel like others should know. This shop is unprofessional and maybe dishonest. Im not a mechanic but Ive owned enough cars to know you can see when brake fluid is needing changed by its color. When the manager told me that you cant, I knew right then this shop was not honest. So my experience is they charge more, didnt do repairs correctly, didnt test the repair when they were finished and I feel dishonest, maybe not intentionally though. But not being able to tell when brake fluid needs replaced is a crock. Over the past several months waiting in their lobby, Ive heard the manager or owner comment regularly how he cannot find good techs. Maybe all of this is a result of that? Whatever the case, I wont be going back.Update:I felt you maybe dishonest because never once did you apologize or admit mistakes were made when I pointed them out. The only thing you offered was more costly repairs. Your tech clearly made mistakes. How could you not check the condition of the fluid on a car with 174,000 miles? If I hadnt been late for an appointment I would have taken the car back to you within the first mile of driving it. How could you not test brakes to see if they are working? When I did return the next day, your tone was that your shop did nothing wrong. Only now in this public forum do you offer any appology. I understand mistakes happen. I also understand the difference between mistakes and incompetence.
Super friendly and fast service!
Great service and great prices. They are the only shop in town I use anymore.
Terrible experience...dont use this place unless you like getting ripped off. Took my car in to get the ac problem diagnosed. Told them everything it was doing, all they did was add Freon after I told them we had already had it checked at two places which said it was full. Ac still does not work right. I would never recommend this place and will never go back.
I visited Precision Tune a day after Wal-Mart refused to install the 4th tire on my car because of what they determined to be a bad stud on one of the wheels. Wal-Mart also informed me that ALL my lugs were bad and needed to be replaced. I took my car to precision, they saved me some cash by informing me that in fact the stud was still in good condition and held a lug nut perfectly (the rest of the lugs were fine as well). Im not sure if the Wal-Mart tech tried using a wrong sized stud or what, but it cost me a trip to a mechanic (I guess thats a good thing since I seemingly found a good one in Precision Tech).Since they were forthcoming about the stud, I went ahead and allowed Precision Tech to install the 4th tire. They installed and balanced the tire and put a lug nut on the faulty stud, all for around $20. According to my receipt, they did not charge for any diagnostic labor pertaining to the stud issue. My only complaint (and it is a small one) would be the time it took to complete the job. At one point there were several individuals huddled in the lobby with only one individual actually doing work in the shop. I believe they were dealing with a recent break-in, so I can even understand that.I believe I will use them again for future repair needs. They were patient and polite with every customer that came in during my wait and also had a reasonable list of prices for other vehicle services.
Greatest fastest courteous service
Fair, reasonable, quick oil changes.
I was getting ready to go on vaction and discovered i had a leak in breather line gong to fuel injection and they got right on the problem and fixed it in about 45 minutes, and gave me a reasonable price.
Fast, friendly, and done right the first time.
I would not go there unprofessional
Honest work and honest people
Had a disagreement one time with This place and even after i was kind of a jerk having a bad day they still ended up helping me get back on the road even stayed after hours to help me
Very fast, very polite, good service
They dont do their job right now I have to go back and waste time and gas to do something they should have already done.
Jake and Max are the best
