They sold me a car in May. The whole time I was doing my paper work I was told my car was being cleaned. When I was done paperwork and paying I was told it hasnt been cleaned and I should leave the car. They sent my hard tags to the wrong address in August. Its now December and I still dont have my tags. The wiring in my car is jacked up so now my headlights dont work. All I have is power train warranty. Now the locations are closed and I cant work because my paper tags are dead and they wont give out new ones. I feel horrible like I was set up.I would never recommend this company for car sales at all

Absolutely horrible experience. I bought a car from here because it was a good price but the entire process was like pulling teeth. Was told I would have car documents mailed to me the day after I purchased my car but after 3 weeks of calling 2-3 times per week they never sent them and I had to pick them up in person. Had to drive out to get new temporary plates and when I asked what was taking so long with the registration was told its a process. The manager told me if I didnt like it I could do it myself but then would not tell me where in the process my new plates and registration were.
The staff at Hertz were very kind and very helpful. They helped us with everything we needed. They helped us right as we walked in the door and got us out in a very reasonable amount of time. It was a great experience!
Personally, I think this is an excellent way to buy a used car. The prices are very reasonable for the confidence you get in your purchase. The staff at this particular location were also very polite and helpful.I made the purchase just yesterday, so I cant say that there will be no problems with the car (It was a 2018 Nissan Versa). But I feel pretty confident in the assurances and warranties that were built into the price of the car. There were also other warranty/maintenance options that we didnt buy mostly because of our confidence level.
Their pricing is excellent. Melanie and Jeff are awesome. For the financing and warranties portion, I felt like numerous winks were executed to establish rapport, and exaggerated shock was displayed when I passed on their warranties or loan options in hopes that I would doubt my decisions because they were so shocking to him. It could just me, but this is the one point for me where the salesmanship felt thick.Id suggest asking for Jeff or Melanie and expect a great car buying experience, and just make sure you stick to your guns for the financing portion. All in all its a good dealership. I would go back again.
On May 25th, I sent 3 emails inquiring about a 2018 Hyundai Accent. After never receiving a reply back, today May 26th I decided to phone as soon as they opened at 10am. I explained I had a cash offer and was prepared to purchase the vehicle TODAY. I was placed on hold for nearly 45minutes at which another sales representative called me. It was apparent that they had forgotten I was on hold. After calling Eric, the sales representative, back I once again explained that I wanted the vehicle and I as prepared to pay cash. He asked when I could come in and I said that on their website home delivery was advertised. I was then told that delivery wouldnt be possible until Thursday and would be contacted again on May 28. I accepted this he took down my information and I thought that was the end of it. Well I called back at 5:13pm just to confirm that everything was situated, and was told that someone else was looking at the vehicle I wanted. I was then asked if there was another vehicle I was interested in... I said no because the Hyundai was the right price for my budget and it had all the features I wanted. Now the vehicle has been sold, when I could have started the paperwork for purchase that morning and had the car delivered Thursday, but Eric made it seem like that wasnt an option. I am very disappointed, the vehicle I was prepared to purchase today has now been sold to someone else because no one knew what to do or how to handle things that they offer on their own website.
My salesman was Jamarl, he was very nice and professional. He got me what I wanted and was upfront throughout the whole process. I also, worked with Justin and Tony. While, I didn’t directly work with Tony he was very polite over the phone. Justin was very professional and funny. The whole crew working tonight, was very nice. They got me in and out quickly. I would definitely recommend Hertz in Springfield, VA. Thanks guys for staying late to accommodate me.
Unfortunately, I feel like I have to reduce the number of stars. There were little to no scratches on this car when I bought it. As soon as it rained, scratches appeared, and these scratches are a bit rusty. That only happens if the scratches are really old. Im sure you all can figure out why old scratches just appeared out of nowhere. Kind of shady. Car still runs good after about a month and some days. It is a Toyota though, so theres that.I bought a car from Jeffrey Thompson. Hes really patient compared to other salespeople I saw there and many other salespeople I talked to in the past. If you hate the car buying experience, Id suggest him at the Hertz Car Sales in Springfield. They were really busy at the time I bought the car, but he did his best trying to serve the customer. I cant say the same for the person taking my money though. He seemed way too impatient. Ill update with car quality in the next couple days.
I had the pleasure of visiting this location all the way from Knoxville, Tennessee. Shonte and I had been in contact all week and he was super helpful and patient with me as I scheduled a trip to visit this location, and he made it possible. Mr. Jamarl was the salesman I primarily worked with and he was incredibly helpful explaining everything and encouraging me to try out the car I had been looking at and he constantly checked in on me during my time to be sure I was comfortable and taken care of as I waited for each step of the process. While I waited I also got the opportunity to talk with Ms. Melanie and Mr. Jeffery who were incredibly sweet and took great care of me and my dad while we were there, they were very personable and we enjoyed having conversations with them the whole day. Demonte and Eric were also very enjoyable to talk to, they were helpful and lighthearted and made our experience worth the trip. The manager, Mr. Tony was extremely nice and appreciative of our patience as we hung out waiting for paperwork to be signed, and signing paperwork with Ben was insightful as he explained everything clearly before asking me to sign. We spent 5 hours here, and although they were all super busy helping many many more people, I loved every minute I got to spend there because this staff was so helpful and sweet and they made my first car purchase easy, simple, and warm. I love the car I was sold, and the experience made it even better. Thank you, Springfield for welcoming us and helping us so much. You made an impact. Keep it up.
On 1/17/2020, I purchased a vehicle from this Hertz location. While meeting with the sale representative, the sales rep. was called away to a meeting (no explanation or apology provided), the meeting took about 10-15 minutes. I was shown the certified vehicle check list, but was not provided with a copy of the checklist. The bad; Within the 7 days of the purchase, the battery failed in the vehicle, knowing that I was within the 7 day period, I replaced the battery and requested reimbursement for the purchase of the new replacement battery. On 3/30/2020, after many emails with the Hertz Car Sales manager, and providing a copy of the new battery receipt, I received a reimbursement check for the purchase of the new battery. The good; the pricing on the vehicle was the best I could find in my area and I was given a nice trade in price for my 2005 Toyota Sienna.

My car broken down less then 24hrs ago I spend 3 hours online looking for a new car I called yesterday in the afternoon to set up an appointment to get the car I asked for Wednesday afternoon then I called back later that evening I was going to come tomorrow . which is today I got a courtesy call making sure I was on my way then later I called saying I was gping to 15 minutes late then about 20 minutes ago I get a call from salesman Eric telling me the car was sold last night I live am hour awayand was only told this by a salesman everyone else I spoke to didnt know anything worst experience I have ever had when buying a a car I wont ever recommend this place to anyone ever funny thing Eric tryed selling me a car similar more milage and wpuld cost 2k more hahaha lost my business and whenever any ask me where to buy a car Ill make sure to tell never from here

Jamarl was great, he expressed the deadline on all warranties and took his time to show us plenty of vehicles although I did my research and yes they were the cheapest in the DMV. Everyone was professional and friendly. I highly recommend them .

I had been searching for a car for a few weeks and the day I went here i had already been to 3 other dealerships that didnt have what i was looking for and had very pushy/rude finance people. Eric was wonderful when i called and told him what i had seen online and he then invited me out to see it. I went, saw it, drove it and took my Sportage home the next day. Everyone i dealt with: Eric, Tony, the Finance guy (Unfortunately i cant remember his name), they were ALL friendly and amazing. I highly recommend them if your looking for a car. I found them off of Car Guru.
