We worked with Atlas to add granite to our elevated outdoor kitchen. They were fantastic to work with, from initial planning to fabrication to flawless installation. The crew on site was working on an extremely hot day but still took the time to ensure it was perfect.

Still Waiting! The customer service here has been horrible. I dont get called back, emails returned. Their cutting machine was down for about a week. My stone was in and then wasnt in, etc. Always a problem.I purchased my counters from IKEA Paramus and New Jersey Stone/Atlas Marble and Granite are contracted out by IKEA to template, fabricate and install the counters. So far it has been the worst customer service I have experienced with I think anything I have ever bought! It took a week and many voicemails when I first contacted them. It took extra days for the template after the cancelled the night before my original date. The person who came out was great and seem very capable, but the office just cannot return phone calls or emails. My stone was supposed to come in a few days later and then the fabrication.....well for some reason I was told by Igor (only person I have spoken with) the stone was in on the day it was supposed to be, but now the cutting machine was broken. A few days later, my stone wasnt there and had NOT arrived, but the cutting machine was still not working!? (Just an aside, if this was my business and I cut stone for my job....that machine would be worked on 24/7 to get it up and running!) Then they told me it was IKEA that was the problem with the order....called IKEA, turns out that everything is done through these guys and Ceasarstone directly..another lie?? So I got IKEA involved (they have been very helpful as much as they can be) and my stone came in a few days ago....but now I am waiting more days to hear when it will be fabricated and installed. As anyone who has done their kitchens...everything is an order and you cant do some things till other things are finished. Well it has been over 2 weeks since the template has been done (was told originally that it was 10 days from template to install) and I still have no idea when my counters are coming in....because they dont return phone calls....at all!!So I am stuck waiting, with no kitchen till I get my counters. Too bad these guys dont take their job seriously and how important it is to have good customer service. Just letting me know would go a long way. Just a simple phone call to keep me updated...that is all. So if you purchase your custom quartz counters from IKEA Paramus, you may just end up with these guys. I would think twice, unless you have a spare kitchen while you wait...and wait...and wait.

Flavio came with two other guys to install my IKEA quartz countertops. They had a busy day and arrived several hours late, but he explained to me about an earlier job taking longer than expected. It was understandable. They arrived at 6:30 and finished by 8pm. I have two pieces and one with a waterfall which took longer to install. They also installed my undermount sink, I did notice that he put just two brackets on the middle left and right, probably four is needed so its really secure.I was scared by some of the bad reviews but am satisfied with the work.He is a hard worker and can be a thankless job. I appreciate their professionalism, respect for my kitchen, and cleaning up after they finished.

As a Realtor, I see a lot of kitchens and countertops. As it happens, it was time recently for me to update my kitchen. After shopping at a few other places, I went to Atlas. The result was an excellent experience. Elizabeth did a wonderful job with the layout of the Quartzite stone I chose for my countertops. Its such a great natural product, with the grain and flow as she recommended (of 3 choices she provided) and is a fantastic look for my kitchen. The installation crew showed up as scheduled and were very efficient in getting the job done. I highly recommend Atlas.

Rey from Atlas came over to template my quartz vanities. he asked questions like how far out I wanted the lip etc. I rely on my designer for such details but he reminded me that its my bathroom and I have to be comfortable. multiple times he patiently showed me the different options, added his expert opinion and then we settled on a measurement. I appreciated him taking the time to make sure I would love my quartz vanities to the fullest. Thanks Rey!

Rey was terrific!!! He was extremely knowledgeable, explained options and made great suggestions. He went beyond what was expected in helping me see the counter space my sink would take and how I could place the faucet. After spending several months toiling over counter top possibilities and going to many different stores to look at samples, we stumbled upon Atlas Marble & Granite, on the recommendation from one of our recent contractors. We met Amanda, who listened to out wants, needs and concerns. Within 30 minutes, we found a quartz counter top that was different than anything else we had seen prior to going to Atlas. After receiving the sample, we were set and confirmed our choice.Within a few days, Amanda prepared a proposal for the work to be done. We sent in a deposit and were put on the schedule. Our measuring appointment was set up for within a few days after our new cabinets were installed. We dealt with a gentleman named Vlad who accurately measured our cabinets. He made many suggestions regarding, overhang possibilities, etc., and also had suggestions on how best to install the counter tops to best work with our custom cabinets. The installers came within 10 days (the measure/install process took place during Christmas/New years week) and installed our counter tops. They were beautiful. The installers were efficient and neat and cleaned up after their work.In addition to having the counter tops made, I had a vanity top made, in addition to wall, door and window sills, and bench top for the bathroom. Thy were able to cut these pieces out of the remainder of the slab they ordered.Do not hesitate to give Atlas a call. From customer service to installation and follow up, they were an excellent company to work with.

We had used Atlas for a couple small projects and recently used them again but had a terrible experience. In any of the times we used them, response time was horrible. We had to call, email multiple times to get in touch with people and set up times for templating and installing. With that said, the last install we had was stone around our fireplace which was set uneven and not level. This affected built ins we had built around it. It took weeks to finally get a response from these people and all they would offer was a 20% discount which was nothing. Our contractor had to modify his work around it to make it appear level. Luckily it isnt noticeable when looking at it but the service was horrendous and the actual work was not good either. Then they had us sign a form when finished but nothing was checked off on it regarding whether the work was done appropriately or not, and the installers checked all the boxes themselves so it looks as if we approved the work. We will never use this place again and I caution others to do so.

Highly recommend Atlas Marble. I have used them for a bathroom countertop as well as a kitchen remodel using their Carrera Marble. Great selection of stone. I was all over the state of NJ looking for a piece of marble big enough for an 11 foot island - they were the only ones that had a selection in a size I needed. Melanie was so easy to work with. - she helped me select a great piece & got back to me very quickly with pricing & availability. Ray who measured for my job was great as were the team that installed my countertops. Cant say enough about this place!! I will definitely use again .

I had kitchen countertops and a kitchen island installed recently by Atlas and the end result is not what I have expected. Everything would be fine for the most part. It was an easy and quick process with a good response time. Problem is in a material used. I ordered MSI Stellar White quartz. It seem to be a really good choice for high gloss white cabinets and a walnut island. Beautiful white quartz. But the quartz they installed in my kitchen is definitely NOT white but sandy, beige color. I did not catch it at first, because my cabinets were covered with a blue protective foil and next to the walnut island it looked ok.I have contacted Atlas next day and was told that MSI Stellar White is “a contender in a pool of bright whites but shades of white vary immensely”. I knew what I saw at Atlas’s showroom. So, I have ordered a sample of Stellar White directly from MSI and not to my surprise IT IS white and the quartz installed in my kitchen is totally different shade. I have contacted Atlas again, send pictures of the sample next to my counter tops with visible color difference, asked for replacement and was told that “the shade is well within tolerance” and “there is not much more they can do”.For that reason I would not recommend Atlas or MSI quartz.

Wonderful, surprising experience working with Atlas Marble & Granite! Started working with Melanie Antunes as my Sales Rep, and Amanda Knef / Derek - who lay out the Templates (placement of how they were going to cut the various pieces of my stone from the full slab I had purchased) - ended up being exactly how I wanted it to be! In plan, and in reality.Installation Day - the crew (Marco Diaz, Temo, and Francisco) that came were very accommodating, polite, respectful, and most of all - very professional! They had a difficult time fitting one of my large pieces into my very tight Laundry Room. Three strong guys. But I wasnt worried. I sensed if anyone could do this difficult install, they were the ones - and they were!! Thank you to all - at Atlas Marble & Granite.

The visit to measure and the visit to install was like working with 2 different companies. Our concerns raised at measuring time were put off and never really addressed. Now we have a countertop we feel is just mediocre. Quality of final installation was disappointing and not level with a high point at the seam. The installers never used a level.

Incredibly rude customer service. They refused to fulfill an order I had placed (and paid for) through Ikea. When I asked them to confirm this in writing, the service manager gave me a ridiculous attitude and basically said it was not her job. They had known about this order for month but instead of being the slightest bit apologetic about canceling the day I asked them to schedule, they made it seem as if they were doing me a favor. Avoid unless you are ready to be dealt w/ summarily when there is a problem. (and probably any other time)

DO NOT USE! I went to Atlas 3 months ago to pick out a piece of stone for our countertop. It took them two months to fabricate the stone and when they came to install it, THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG STONE!!! They offered us minimal compensation and luckily had our original stone still on site. It has been one month and we are still trying to get them to come and instal the new stone. They keep bumping is off the schedule. I cannot wait until this nightmare is over! Thank goodness I had pictures of the original stone because it took quite some convincing to get them to realize it was not our stone. Save yourself the trouble and RUN!

The most UNPROFESSIONAL company. At the time of removing our granite they managed to break it in two, damaged few of our cabinets, damaged brand new gas range and a brand new hood. After leaving us for 2 weeks without a functioning kitchen and keep telling me we do it today, we do it tomorrow, one of the managers dares to call me to say they did us a big favor by accepting replacing the appliances for us but they do not pay for installation expenses and we have to hire a contractor to do it for us, paying out of our pocket. Obviously she doesnt get that I have already paid once for installation charges 2 months ago when I purchased my new appliances.Added on 08/02/18 replying to Atlass response:Your statement has many flaws as follows:1- MD installation introduced themselves to me as sister company of Atlas and, you stated that Atlas is not the responsible party here. If that so, please explain why Elizabeth Gmyrek from Atlas is calling me and trying to address and resolve the issue afterward??2- Your second accusation saying I denied to remove the appliances before the installation and insisted on installing the counter top is simply a lie. None of your crew asked and insisted on removing anything prior to installation let alone appliances.3- If your company is not fit to do the job as you suggest in your response; after seeing the job, they had to deny removing the counter top in the first place. We did not hear any complain from your crew when they removed the counter top. You could simply say this is not your job and instead inform IKEA to hire a new contractor rather than damaging cabinets, counter top and appliances of a customer. Your argument over me not being your direct customer and being IKEAs customer is not relevant here as you are hired to do the job.4- As you mentioned, I do not believe MD crews are professional plumbers or electricians, and nor am I. That is exactly why I never asked MD to install the appliances by its own crew. If MD has purchased the appliances from any legitimate supplier as you mentioned, then installation service could be simply added to the purchase for a minimum fee on top of purchasing the appliances. It might sound unreasonable to you but it makes perfect sense to me, or any other client, not to pay for the installation charges twice on my own because of your wrong doing. I have paid for the exact charges couple of months ago when I purchased my BRAND NEW appliances. Honestly, I believe it is very unreasonable from you asking client to pay out of their pocket for the damage caused by your company.

I never write reviews but I have to this time because my experience was so horrendous!! Please do not go to this place - especially if its through Ikea. They dont care about their customers at all- they dont answer the phone, they dont call you back,, they dont answer emails! They never got back to me about questions I had, but not too busy to send me an email of upcharges- which was not mentioned to me at all by Ikea at the time of purchase. They require an extra $100 for a copy of their insurance certificate and an extra $195 because they say they need an extra man to deliver my countertop. - they said my countertop of 99 was too large to carry even with a seam??Long story short.. theyre a nightmare to get a hold of, slam you with hidden charges, and completely unwilling to work with their customer. Do NOT go with them. I will be sharing this with everyone I come in contact with. Thank you so much for your terrible service Atlas.

Absolutely one of the worst businesses I have EVER dealt with. They are arrogant, unfriendly, and hasty in their work. It seems like only thing they have going for them is the contract they have with Ikea – which probably keeps steady flow of customers coming their way regardless of their crummy service. We were getting our kitchen renovated and got all our cabinets from Ikea. And in the process, we decided to go with Ikea as well for the countertops, believing we would get the same service and accountability we get with Ikea. So we make all the payments up front and then find out we’re left to deal with Atlas Marble & Granite. Apparently, Ikea in Paramus, NJ and Elizabeth, NJ contracts out their countertop business to this place. After doing their follow-up (someone from Ikea comes in 1st to do initial measurements then another person from Atlas comes in for their own measurements – this man btw, did not bother looking at different options of how the countertop would be brought in to the apartment and measurements were done in very hasty manner) visit to measure countertop size, we get an upcharge bill: (1) $100 to make a copy of their certificate of insurance and send to us (most places provide this service for FREE) (2) extra man power was supposedly needed for the size required for our kitchen. The irony of 2nd upcharge was that they insisted one of the larger piece of countertop has to be brought in 2 pieces and glued together because that size, as they claimed, would not fit in the freight elevator in our building. We proved to them, by send them the blue print (acquired from our management office) of our freight elevator that shows that the size of our elevator is big enough. But they continued to insist it has to be cut in 2 pieces. This stubborn insistence still played out when a representative from Ikea contacted them. They refused to answer our calls, and when they did, they were just flat our rude and nasty. When we wanted to cancel our order, we were charged over $200 for them having come in for measurements previously. Which by the way we learned were NOT even correct measurements.Read the reviews in Yelp about this place. Most of the negative comments are from Ikea customers, which shows me they completely take for granted the customers they get through Ikea for granted and have no problem jerking them around. We ended up going with a place called Bergen Countertops. They brought the countertop in 1 piece without any issues. It fit fine inside our elevator. Without $100 upcharge to send us certificate of insurance and overall price was over $500 cheaper than Atlas.Atlas gave me the most terrible buying experience ever!!! Do NOT go with Atlas Marble & Granite!!

They arrived on time when they were scheduled, the finished product (quartz countertop in kitchen) looks great.
